They serve Baltimore Coffee Company coffee which is pretty darn good. I admit this isn't my favorite coffee shop in the area since it's really small so you can't chill out for awhile .... and parking can be a hassle during busy times due to its location. I do want to stop by for lunch at some point and plan to update my review down the road. I'll always patronize those shops since I loathe chain places - Perfect Blend is definitely worth checking out.

This truly was the perfect blend! I went there for the first time last night for a quick bite before a graduation celebration, and they had a "Nutty Irishman" special - Irish cream and hazelnut coffee... what more could a girl ask for? Now sometimes when you ask for a frozen blended coffee, it comes out watery or the ice pieces are too big and the coffee tastes off... This totally was NOT the case! I don't know how they did it, but it was a perfect balance of ice, coffee, syrups, and cream! Almost to the point that it tasted like a milkshake! I would totally recommend this place to anyone who is just walking around Historic and beautiful downtown Frederick and need a wonderfully delicious "Pick-me-Up"!

I was just thinking, "Man, I could sure use a 3:00pm pick-me-up right about now." when The Perfect Blend caught my eye! Perfect indeed! I ordered a double cappuccino from the smiling barista and after adding a little sugar, I was on my way! I'm not often in Frederick, but next time I'll linger a little longer and see what else this spot has to offer!

Great coffee and tasty sandwiches. Inspired by the purpose embodied in the concept of the coffee shop. Highly recommended

I have had a few different lattes and a flavored coffee. I love the Starry Night Latte and the Frosty's Favorite flavored coffee. The breakfast sandwiches are delicious! Try the Prosciutto, Fresh Mozzarella and Egg on a Croissant add pesto, it is to die for! The staff is very friendly and they always have a smile on their face! You can definitely tell the employees enjoy their job. Very convenient location for me, glad to have a great coffee shop nearby.

I love good, little coffee shops, and this is definitely one of them. They have a nice selection of stuff, and the employees are friendly. The only bummer is that they close kind of early, but other than that, this is a great place to grab a coffee.

Perfect coffee shop. Great food, including pastries. Coffee is excellent too. Everything is reasonably priced, and the building it's located in is gorgeous!

Great to have another coffee shop downtown, especially considering what was in it's place before it opened. They have a few different blends from various roasters; most appeared to be local. The place appears to be family run, and I was greeted by a friendly staff. I had a breakfast sandwich that was a pretty typical greasy ham, egg, cheese and bread thing kept under a heatlamp. That's kind of what I expected, but I didn't expect to see a label from a different store on the sandwich with a rather large ingredient list (high fructose corn syrup included). That was kind of off putting, but hey it was cheap, and I'd rather know what I'm eating even if the ingredient list was kind of gratuitous. Coffee was pretty good, and I got in and out quickly. I'm glad to see another coffee shop downtown, and look forward to visiting again.

Happened to walk by and needed a snack. The soup was divine! I will go back just for the soup and based on the quality of the soup I'm sure everything here is good.

The Perfect Blend Cafe was a delightful place to come in and sit down for a delicious cup of coffee! The service was friendly and welcoming. I thoroughly enjoyed the muffin I bought at the Perfect Blend and I am looking forward to my return visit to have one of their wonderful looking salads! They have many choices in food and I was pleasantly surprised! I highly recommend this Cafe!

I'm giving it 3 stars for the coffee, which is decent, so if that's your aim- you can't go wrong. Don't eat here, unless it's the pastries. The sandwiches are atrocious, and robbed this coffee shop of a star IMO.

As a former coffee shop owner and having trained in Seattle with one of the absolute best in the industry (no...not Starbucks)....Caffe D'arte, I can honestly say that this is okay, but could be a whole lot better. At this point, I've never liked Starbucks, but have to say they are better. The beans are fine, but it is the preparation. The steaming of the milk on a latte is nowhere near what it should be...and the temperature was not even close to what it should be. A little training here would go a very long way...and I do like to support the local shops. If management is listening, I would strongly suggest learning to properly froth/steam milk for a latte. There was little to no real silky feel to the milk and it was only steamed for a very short time and given too much air throughout the process rather than up-front and then immersing the wand to heat it and make the milk evenly steamed to a silky froth throughout. I'd be glad to lend a hand to train for a brief time...it would do you a world of good....because what I saw otherwise for the shop was pretty good. Hope you will take some advice....get yourself the DVD called Espresso 101 and Espresso 102....if not.
