Easily the worst chain restaurant I've been to in my life. There is nothing positive I can say about this place. I tried it twice. The first time we left without ordering or eating. A server never came to our table, and after patiently sitting for 20 minutes we simply left. The second occasion (several years later) was nearly as disappointing as the first, except this time we got to see the restaurant in all its dysfunctional splendor. I'm convinced our waiter was high. Or recovering from a traumatic brain injury. And I'm pretty sure most of the kitchen staff was as well, based on the food they served us. (I'm joking of course, since urine samples weren't provided, and I'm not in the business of drug testing restaurant employees, although someone should.) I used to like Ruby Tuesday (not this one). The salad bar was always a safe bet. But the salad bar choices at this location are so limited and unappealing that one's only option is the pathetic menu. My biggest issue was the apparent cleanliness, or lack thereof. This place just looks dingy and dirty. Our silverware was covered in water spots and the tines on my fork were bent so badly that I couldn't use it. The table was in need of a good scrubbing, and my girlfriend swears she saw a dead cockroach on the floor across from our booth. I mean, What happened to this company? When did they toss up their hands and say "fuck it Dude, let's go bowling"? Mick Jagger should sue. If Jimmy Buffet got his panties in a bunch over the endlessly awesome Cheeseburgers in Paradise milking his creative mojo, then The Stones surely have cause to take legal action and put a stop to this gastro-defamation. If you're gonna suck this bad, change your name to Mmmbop.

Went to this Ruby's because of the convenience at the time otherwise I would have never came to this location. While the four of us were eating out salad's a roach decided to join us on the table. Immediately we advised the manager and he said, 'thank you so much, we are aware of the problem' and apologized. No discount to our meal was taken off, luckily I was not paying otherwise there would have been an adjustment to the check. Not only is it disgusting but a hazard, this restaurant needs to be inspected.

Who runs out of ranch on a salad bar on Friday night? I would never have gotten a salad if I had known.

Absolutely unbelievable. We just tried to eat at your Rt. 40, Frederick, MD location. We were told a 20 minute wait (along with quite a few other people) despite empty tables all over the place. We eventually sat down and waited ten minutes just for a server to come over. We placed our entire order, including drinks, and waited. And waited. For over half an hour, without ever seeing a drink. We talked to a manager who promised they were "making" them (it was just soda and juice). 15 minutes later, our waitress brought us free biscuits, but no drinks. Seriously? We waited a few more minutes, far longer than we should have waited, and finally walked out. The hostess at the door wished us a good night. We just laughed and went to get fast food. Other tables around us had similar experiences. One woman got her meal minus a side, and completely finished her meal before the missing side came out, AND her friend didn't get food until well after she had finished eating. She was given a wrong drink and had to get up and find someone to give it to and still waited over ten minutes for a new one (at least she got drinks at all!). In the full hour we were there, I didn't see anyone's food come out correctly. Not a single server seemed like they were in a hurry, and we hardly even saw servers. Not a single person, including the manager, apologized at any point. I have never had such an awful restaurant experience in my life. This restaurant will never get our business again.

As another reviewer mentioned, we went here because it's convenient. Big mistake. The service was poor, the waitress did not no the menu. Our food did not come out together. I was finished and my daughter's meal just came out. Food was okay - once we got it. Not again!

The 3rd time I've ever been to a Ruby Tuesdays in my life. The other times were horrible but it had been years so I gave it another chance. This time was no diffrent. To start out the server knew nothing about the menu including the new promotion on the comercials that you can't turn on the tv or raido with out hearing about. She had to "ask her manager" so see what we were talking about. Then she got our drinks we sat there forever waiting to order and with empty cups. There were only 2 of us and only 3 tables in the entire place being used the whole time we were there. She finally came and took our order asked me if I wanted a refill (of course I did my cup was empty, felt as though she was hoping I'd say no.) I said yes but she never brought one. We watched as she hungout talking with coworkers the entire time. Just as I was about to go get it myself she brought our food and asked about my drink again. -_- The food was nothing great. Then we get our bill mind you we tried to be semi cheap and still spent about $40.00 for dissapointment but they had over charged us. I pointed it out and she went back then came out and explained they had given us the wrong menus for lunch with the lunch prices but changed it for us as if she was doing us some favor. The manager couldn't be bothered to come check on us (table touches) or even explain the billing mistake. Still only 3 tables. I will never, ever be back.

This restaurant is a total embarrassment. It was THE place to go when it opened and now it's turned into a train wreck. My friend who lived here years ago visited recently and we decided to give it a try after many years. They served her a bacon cheeseburger topped with rotting blue cheese that smelled like gym socks. When the waitress agreed that it smelled foul, her response was .... Was there something you wanted me to do about that ? I just stared in disbelief. What seemed like hours later she finally came back to the table and had the nerve to charge for this disgusting rotten cheese atop an unedible burger. Then dashes away to bring back some cupcake (not on the menu that looked like it was made from home) saying the cupcake was "on the house". Meanwhile we are supposed to pay for something I wouldn't feed to a dog. This was completely pathetic and I was embarrassed I suggested such a sick place. I will never return. Ever.

I left with my family in complete disgust after two roaches crawled out from the wooden border around our booth and on to the back cushion behind my wife and daughter. We were seated in the booth closest to the kitchen and adjacent to the salad bar. We asked for the manager and he came in time to see one of the roaches still crawling on the booth. He said he was sorry and it's something that they were working on. He did not give us any problem about leaving, so we left our half-eaten food on the table and got out as quickly as we could. I was annoyed that we sat for several minutes without anyone coming to take our drink order, that the coffee and soup came out lukewarm, and my wife's burger came out rare after she ordered it medium well, but seeing the roaches and hearing the manager acknowledge it was an ongoing problem really made those other issues seem small in comparison. We will not be returning to this Ruby Tuesday again and will probably avoid other locations in the future.
