Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

I have been going here since I was 13 and the owner and her main waiter are there literally 100% of the time I've gone and i've been there at least 50 times. I'm a plain jane and I get the beef fried rice, spicy, typically with wonton soup almost every time. With that said, they use the highest quality ingredients. I believe it's flank steak that they use. They cook every dish 1 by 1 rather than all mixed up and greasy. Just super high quality 100% of the time and they are by far the nicest restaurant owners I've ever met in my life. Their owner is the sweetest lady in the world and is always smiling which is half the reason I go, aside from the amazing food.

Walking into this restaurant I really wanted to like this place. The ambiance and decor was totally me so I was excited. The booth we got seated in was duck taped all the across the cushion but I was willing to look the other way because in all honesty I was here for the food so lets get serious. Crab rangoons were really yummy and that says a lot coming from me because I find myself to be a crab rangoon connoisseur. Hubby enjoyed his hot and sour soup which he tends to be picky about as well. Our smoked salmon sushi was ok. The rice they use looks as if they mushed it together before putting it in the rolls. Curry chicken rice bowl was bland but the combination curry fried rice was more flavorful. Alright so here is where it went south. We used a groupon and when we got our bill it already had the tip filled in for us at 20%. Its ok...ill give you a moment to take in the shock value of what I just said. We always tip this much no matter where we go but this was a first and it made me feel some kind of way. Maybe it was a suggestion I dunno so ill give them the benefit of the doubt. We gave them our credit card and our receipt that they bought back had the tip written in ONCE AGAIN. Atleast the waiter was pleasant. Groupon brought us in but unfortunately we wont be coming back.

Chickety china, the chinese chicken. -Yes, they have THIS IS THE BEST CHINESE FOOD EVER! I've been to many chinese ,faux-chinese, and grime-ese (gross) chinese restaurants. This one takes the cake -the rice cake that is.They have high quality food (no plastic chicken that failed to pass USDA inspection). They also have a variety of delicious seafood and vegetarian dishes. The owner is really nice and accomadating. You really need to go here because you haven't had American Chinese food until you've been here. If you look at my previous reviews you'll note that everything either has 5 or 1 stars. I only review the worst and the best places.

don't listen to robert w this place has terrible food and they don't try to accomadte you when you complain should have read more reviews or robert w must be the owner

Ordered a beef and vegetable dish - it was drowning in overly-sweet brown sauce. Place itself is nice and wait staff friendly.

Best Chinese food in the area by FAR! And they deliver!! Woo hoo! The food has always been excellent, whether dine-in or delivery. And the customer service is outstanding. Super friendly and polite.

I attended a birthday party for a friend at Chopstix tonight and the food was great. Everyone was happy with their dishes, the waiter was very attentive to us, and the owner came over to personally wish my friend a happy birthday (she and her husband are regular customers). The place was clean and attractive, and we had a lovely time. Totally ignore the nasty review from "Robert T." If you look at the rest of his Yelp reviews, he apparently thinks that nothing in the MD burbs can compare with NYC, and he gave Krispy Creme 5 stars. 'Nuff said. Give Chopstix a try! :-)

Best chinese food in the area! Its not your typical greasy & fatty/fried chinese restaurant...all dishes are made to order with little to no breading. It has more of a contemporary style to its menu, but still offers the standard entrees. Best dish I've had is the Five Flavored Chicken...delicious!

Great restaurant. I liked it a lot.

We work here in Urbana and we go to Chopstix often. The food is very good! I find all egg rolls/spring rolls to be somewhat tasteless and theirs are no exception. Their fried rice is no worse than any I've had anywhere else. Stick to the white. I love their egg drop soup. The chicken pieces are very lean and vegetables are tender and fresh. You can tell this hasn't been sitting in a vat day after day and reheated. I would be very sad if they weren't around for us to have lunch.

Best Chinese food ever. Not your average run-of-the-mill Chinese takeout. The chicken is juicy and grilled to perfection. The sauces have so much flavor. You might think it is a little pricey, but I would say it is definitely worth it. You will not regret eating here. I don't get carry out from here that often, but the owners recognize me and know my name. Very nice people on top of amazing food.

Bob F. Posted some pictures of chicken wings from somewhere else. I frequent this place and always get chicken wings for to go. I have never seen these chicken wings. With that said, new owners are in effect and food quality is getting better and better. What's great about this restaurant is that they do accommodate for any type of needs. I usually don't like onions so when I order general taos chicken, I always ask for no onions and without fail every time, I get no onions. Food choices are pretty much the same as usual chinese restaurants. However, how it is presented is the nice part. Dishes are square and food is cooked unlike some places where food is cooked half way. Staff is awesome!

I've ordered delivery from them twice and I've been very happy so far. The first delivery took almost 45 minutes to arrive, that's why I give them only 4 stars. Everything else has been great. The Lo Mein was delicious and delivered with no onions, as requested. The Shrimp with Mixed Vegetables was amazing; I usually don't care for mushrooms, but the dish had so much flavor I just ate it all. The Spicy Orange Beef was so good, but not particularly spicy and the portion was smaller then the other food ordered. The Chicken with Broccoli was really good, the chicken want fatty like some other places and the broccoli was crisp.

Terrible service. 2nd time our order was incomplete. 1st one was carry out, 2nd one was delivery. I should have checked the contents of the bag. Concerning the Second mistake, I decided to call, and the young lady was a bit matter of fact; not quite rude, but seemed unconcerned with the inconvenience of my family. I decided to actually pick up the missing items; no apology for the inconvenience! I was not surprised. I didn't complain; that is why I have a Yelp! app. Check your orders before you take your food. Will be awhile before I return; not sure we will.

Ordered two General Tso Chicken dinners to go and it just wasn't enough food. Also, the food just didn't taste that good. Meh. I've experienced better...

So many negatives! So I hope I don't leave out something. There were two positives. The room was nice, however some benches have duct tape. Our group thought this would be a great place to dump someone. The 2nd postive was the food was hot, this included the sushi. I wouldn't go as far as saying gas station sushi is better, but walmart gives them a run. The spicy California roll was anything but. The General Tso was decent, however they tried to charge us extra because we had a groupon. Then when the bill came they added the tip after adding tax, trying to squeeze out more money. I cannot believe people think this place is good, and that they have regulars.

Caveat Emptor! The reviews here are protected by the first amendment which is what makes a democracy great. Unfortunately, that amendment protects rhetoric that is racist, inflammatory, or in this case, erroneous. The food here is one notch below sub-par. The pork fried rice is essentially a dessicated version of fried rice with pieces of pork fat and flaccid vegetables. The egg rolls, greasy and flavorless. The Kung Pao beef is soupy, with an acrid aftertaste. Fortunately, the meat is so tough and chewy, it will distract you from the taste for a short while. As for the egg drop soup, the less said the better. If your palate enjoys good Chinese cuisine, do it a favor and take it somewhere else. The problem with living in the suburbs is that people have become inured of such lackluster food and have come to accept it as exceptional. More is the pity.

This place is really good. But once they forgot the sweet and sour on my sweet and sour chicken and next time I went they didn't want to give me a free one, just extra sauce for chicken that was already gone.

Try it and enjoy!! We have done take out and eat-in, both experiences have been fine. The place has a nice decor and could be good for a casual dinner. We have sampled various things on the menu and have been very satisfied every time. The lo mein is great, the sushi rolls do the trick (not the best, but definitely tasty), beef and chicken dishes are extremely tasty.

I've ordered takeout from here 4 times in the last 3 years. The first time was decent while the last three have been nothing short of disgusting. The take out each time has been served in a pool of oil which I have to assume is old oil because there are chunks of burnt tidbits left over from whatever dish they cooked in it prior to mine. Every bite had a piece of gooey burnt bits of nastiness bathed in a pool of wok oil. I was starving so I decided to eat what I could, but I won't be going back ever again. Everything is extremely greasy and after the charcoal goodies left over from the wok I'm officially breaking up with this establishment. The to-go serving sizes are a joke too. BaBao, and China Taste are your best bets in Urbana. BaBao is especially good for their Thai dishes and China Taste while doesn't have the atmosphere does have good traditional Chinese and appropriate pricing. Portion sizes are also good.

I'm so glad I accidentally stumbled upon this place a few months ago. Since then, I've gone back a few times and am always pleasantly surprised. Exterior looks are deceiving; once inside you'll see the decor is very modern and clean. The waitstaff is very friendly and already memorized my favorite dishes. Their orange chicken is amazing - some of the best I've ever had. The chicken cuts are large and very lean and the sauce is lighter than typical orange chicken sauce. Their rice is always cooked to perfection and the steamed dumplings are also well worth a try.

Solid food, dumplings are really good. We live nearby and go often. Better than your run of the mill Chinese.
