Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

I love chipotle!! The only thing of course we all would say the same... Long long line around lunch and dinner time. And the place is really small place. Need to extend a bigger place for everyone to find a sit to eat. But worth of waiting and money spent.

Let me start by saying I like Chipotle and it's not unusual for me to have it at least once a month. The reason I've given this particular Chipotle a low score and the reason I won't be back is I can never get exactly what I want. The last four times I went they have been out of hard shells for tacos, guacamole, fajita vegetables and chips. It's pretty ridiculous and something I've never experienced at other locations. Also no I'm not going right before they close, I'm going at dinner time around 6:30-7pm.

I'm always new to chipolte since I go here once a blue. This location was short on chicken and the rice. I left here still hungry since they gave small scoops of food. I'll go back to the one in hagerstown next time. I got my monies worth at that location.

I really like this location more than any other one that I tried in the past. The staff are always friendly and they work very fast. The food is always fresh and tasty. The quality is always same and it never changed. The line is long, but it moves fast.
(5)Greg W.
As for as fast food goes, this is the best. I love the tofu burrito bowl.
(5)Doug S.
Long line, but it moves fast. The parking lot is huge, but unless you're coming here early in the morning or late at night, you'll end up parking (relatively) far away. I'm not the type to care about that, but it's worth noting if you plan on visiting any neighboring shops and don't want to carry bags everywhere. The employees here are great, and they're very generous with their portions. I wish they had more seating, though.
(4)Michael R.
As far as fast good goes....5 stars!!!!! Fresh ingredients, friendly staff, fast moving line, and deliciousness!!! The only complaints I have is that they do not clean off their tables as often as they should and you sometimes have to ask for more meat (because it seems like they are saving it for someone special at times). I've been here a bunch at this location and will continue to frequent this place!

We all know Chipotle is delicious. The one off 85 is the best. The line is always out the door but it goes so quick. They have no problem giving extra rice or salsa or anything like that at no charge, unlike places like Café Rio where you get nickel and dimed to death. My burrito? - Bol with extra white rice, peppers and onions, steak, extra mild salsa, medium, and corn. No sour cream or cheese for me
(5)Steve C.
It's been awhile since I hit Chipotle, so on the way back from work in DC, we stopped. The line was long, but they moved people through there like a herd of cattle. Bad thing is, they need more seating in this small restaurant, I ordered the burrito, with the rice, steak, added pico, sour cream, guacamole. The thing looked like a log, but tasted like a darn good burrito. I don't think I will eat the rest of the night.
(4)Justin C.
What's to say, It's chipotle... food is standard and good as always, the only thing I would add is that the few times I've been to this one the service is faster than most (they can really keep that line moving quickly) and they've never skimped on the meat...
(4)Lee L.
I'm a big fan of chipotle. I generally try to avoid big chains, but the food is great. I got a burrito bowl with chicken, brown rice and black beans. I added guacamole which I would recommend. The line was really long, but I must say they have a great assembly line going and they move really quickly. The staff was very nice and the place was very clean. I would definitely go back the next time I'm in town.
(4)Dawn P.
Quick service, pleasant and friendly staff, and excellent quality food. I ordered a burrito bowl with brown rice, black beans, chicken, etc.-- extra cilantro. The portions are generous and they had no problem giving me plenty of extra cilantro. The dining area was clean, and although it was extremely busy, the line moved quickly. I will be returning to this store. Yummy and nice, plenty of quality food at an excellent price.

Chipotle is crack. Seriously. I find myself eating here 2 times a week minimum. This location does not cheap out like the college park location when it comes to portions. They will make your burrito/bowl whatever you get as big as you want it, and wont charge extra... unless you get guac... and double meat. I get 2-3lb burritoes all day here, cant bea that for 6.75. Did I also mention this food is like crack? delicious

Really tasty fast-food Mexican, though I can't understand the cult-like following this place seems to enjoy. Their prices are on the high end, IMO. Like their other locations, the corrugated metal/utilitarian look is hideous, makes an already noisy place nearly unbearable, and probably one of the most uninviting atmospheres I've experienced in a restaurant, so that I NEVER want to eat-in. I honestly wonder if that's part of their business plan -- herd 'em in, move 'em out, make room for more buyers? Fortunately, there is a small outdoor seating area at this location. If you're not familiar with the ordering process, you might want to find out in advance as this place is usually extremely busy, loud and the employees clearly want to move things along fast.

Chipotle is by far my favorite place to eat in Frederick. I love their food and you get so much of it for a decent price! The only complaint I have about this Chipotle is it is always SO packed. They have tried to fix this though by opening another Chipotle in the Walkersville area which has helped with the traffic. The food quality is very good 95% of the time, and they are pretty good at getting the line moving as quickly as they can. The place is always clean, even though sometimes there isn't much seating. Definitely a 5 star though!
(4)Sarah K.
I rolled up to Chipotle this past Saturday 23 deep- I'm a lacrosse coach and I brought my squad over after we played at nearby Hood College. Not only were we in and out in under 30 minutes with 23 meals to go, but it was less expensive than it normally is at our local sandwich joint. I LOVE, love, love, Chipotle and even with a line wrapped around the joint, this place was clean, friendly and FAST. If I would complain about one thing- it's that there was not a changing table in either bathroom so I had to change my baby on the floor. I was glad to have my changing pad but it was still yuck-o.

Standard chipotle and its all good
(3)Christian D.
I mean Chipotle is Chipotle. You already know the quality of food. My negative rating is for the employees there. The service is horrible. They are incredibly rude, every single time. Without fail. They don't care about you or your food, just that you are no longer standing in front of them.
(1)Mandi B.
I'm from Montgomery county and recently moved to Frederick. The food is good I just don't like how the staff rush you and try to pick your toppings. Like can I just tell u what I want??
(2)Christine R.
I work by the chipotle up in North Frrderick by Wegmans. That place is spot on amazing to me. I went to this one thinking it would be consistent. The rmployees were nice. It was busy, i had a large order for it being 830 at night but they were accomodating. The 2 stars off were because I ordered chicken for my kids meals and my husbands meal as i was thinking it was the more mild of meats. I have never had such spicy chicken from a chipolte. Now, i love spicy food. I enjoy the heck out of it. But my 3 year old was crying because it was spicy enough to make our noses run. Idk of this was an issue with the cook or what but it was waaaay to hot. My barbacoa on the other hand, was bland. Salsa was also hot-another star off. I dont think pico de gallo mild salsa should have that much spice or jalapenos in it to make my hubby say it was too hot to eat with his chips (he likes some spice). Sour cream didnt help. I fel like if its made this spicy there should have been a disclaimer or something. We didnt find all this out of course until we took our order home and began to eat it. Great. So now my kids were eating applesauce and milk for dinner and $31 bucks was wasted...

I want to love this place SO bad but seriously.. It's AWFUL .. I used to LOVE coming here .. It used to be like once a week cause I couldn't get enough but it seems to me like ever since the one in N. Frederick opened .. The quality, the care, & the employees just went downhill .. The last two-three times I've been here .. I got really sick off of the sour cream .. I'm not sure if they aren't storing it properly or it's not at the proper temperature or even expired but it tasted funny .. But when I would get my food with the SC on the side it tasted fine .. So you should probably do your temperature checks or rotate your food correctly & check expiration dates !! Next the employees that now work there are beyond freaking rude .. No one ever smiles .. Everyone catches an attitude(even with each other) &when you ask for something( half the time they aren't even paying attention to you cause they are talking to each other) but they just look flat out miserable .. And let's not mention that EVERY SINGLE TIME I have EVER ordered online .. It's NEVER and I mean NEVER EVER CORRECT. I hate that I can't go here because it has such better and healthier options than fast food but it never fails to disappoint me.
(1)Jessica R.
Worse experience I have had here yet, I don't mind waiting in line but really makes me mad when I order online to pick up and I still end up waiting 40 minutes for the to stand around and chit chat. 8 people work front counter 1 person working to go with orders that have 20 different items on the ticket. One girls responsibility is just to hand out drink cups. Seriously. Reminds me why I stopped eating here a couple months ago
(2)Evelyn R.
I was there on Thursday from 3:30 to 4:00 PM. When finished with my food went to put trash in trash. It was full overflowing. Went to rest room (lady's) ALMOST LOST MY LUNCH! The feminine hygiene dispenser was open next to toilet and looked like it had exploded. Same with towels paper dispenser it was open too, toilet paper on floor. On the way out noticed Another trash can FULL. VERY disappointed at the overall lack of CLEANINGS.

Very bad representation of Chipotle. Untrained staff that hates being there and messes up your food. Yet definitely don't forget to yell out to not forget to charge you for guac after that. Unfortunate. Avoid it.
(1)Wang C.
This one hasn't made national news for not serving people, but their service isn't great. Pretty slow overall and food isn't that hot, or tasty. You are better off going to the Rio, in Cafe. They have about the same lazy employees but the food is fresh and tasty.
(3)Marley D.
Friendly staff, clean environment. Avoid this place at all costs on weekends around 7pm-9pm unless your craving may kill you.... It's gets so packed full of young kids loitering around the movie theater and inside Chipotle. Weeknights are a different story, the line gets long but as mentioned by other reviewers it moves pretty fast! What else is there to say? It's chipotle, delicious fresh, healthy and affordable food all the time!
(5)Mike W.
What's not to love about Chipotle? Even though it has a long line sometimes, the line moves pretty quick and the food is always amazing. I've never been had a bad experience here and will always come here because it's AWESOME. Sometimes the place is a little messy and they don't have lids and straws so that's a turn off but that isn't going to make me not want to give them five stars.
(5)Mary B.
Chipotle Burritos are huge, delicious and filling. They're made with all-natural ingredients, which is a huge plus. I generally order a fajita burrito, since I like the extra veggies and beans don't agree with my digestive system anyway. This particular Chipotle tends to be ridiculously crowded. Expect to wait in a HUGE line that goes to the door and around if you go at any sort of peak meal hours. I've waited in line for half an hour to order a burrito and I'm fairly certain no burrito is worth that long of a wait. If you want to go here, go at an off-hour or go somewhere else (it's right next to a nice Italian place and a nice Mediterranean place, so knock yourself out!). If I stay to eat here, I usually sit outside on the patio, weather-permitting. I'm not terribly fond of the cold metal decor inside. I prefer my eateries warm and cozy.
(3)Julaine N.
There are many burrito options out there, but Chipotle is by far my favorite. This particular Chipotle is especially delicious. I think the high volume of customers keeps them continually refreshing their ingredients. Sometimes I am shocked by how delicious a conglomeration of rice and beans and meat in a bowl is, but really it makes an incredibly satisfying meal. Sometimes you have to wait in line, but you can always order online and skip that whole mess. Also, the guacamole is awesome (but costs extra unless you get your burrito or bowl vegetarian).

This Chipotle is as good as it gets! The food here is always fresh and the portions are consistent. You'll definitely leave satisfied since the average burrito looks like a small blimp! Located in the Westview Promenade right off Interstates 270 and 70 with several stores and many restaurants nearby. There is a small patio outside which is a great spot to people watch while you enjoy that guacamole. Oh yeah, don't forget to order the guacamole -- it is superb! The indoor dining area is spacious and airy, with lots of natural light. They also have lots of seating along the restaurant's store front. It seems this restaurant has a huge clientele, and if you're hungry and in a hurry you may have a wait during peak times. It is not uncommon for people to be lined up almost out the door! They do a great job on the burrito assembly line though, so you should be on your way in no time. A tip for families: if your kids won't eat from Chipotle's menu there is a Mcdonalds nearby, and lots of families tote happy meals into the restaurant for their children. Chipotle does offer small quesadillas for kids, and you can also get a side of rice or beans instead of the larger menu items.

You get stuffed but you don't feel like you sinned. Its all natural yumminess. The best place to get the freshest food around. I always stick with the chicken burrito, black beans, rice, extra mild salsa, corn salsa, sour cream, lettuce. No cheese thank you. Just wrap that giant beast up and I'll eat it immediately. My wife and I love this place. You can't beat the value.
(5)Kev M.
This place is awesome... if you like lettuce and rice. Make mine Cal Tort for real flavor and value.
(1)Brookelynn R.
This is the absolute best place to eat in the whole world. The people are always nice to me and don't sass me when my boyfriend and I have complicated specific orders. I've never been disappointed by the food and you get your money's worth :)
(5)SA F.
This place is always packed! We order via our iPhone application, walk right in to the front of the line and pick up the order. I think if I had to wait in the line, my rating might not be so high. The food is always fresh and delicious.
(5)AJ C.
Ok, first, I love the guac, but WOW, talk about a crowd, always packed, yes its good, but not worth the 30 minute wait. You can never find a parking spot. Overall good, just not worth the wait, if you have to go, go in off peak hours.
(3)Chef A.
I just don't get it. I've eaten here a few times, there's always a long line and I lose most of my lunch break just waiting to order. The food tastes ok, but it's nothing special-it's a freaking burrito. Parking is atrocious. I suppose when you work on the south end, you can only go to so many places before getting bored.
(3)Chris P.
I can't stop eating this stuff. I might sue them for my Weight Watchers costs. :-) We at the office call them manritos.
(5)Wayne S.
I love Chipotle's!!!! The food is unique and quite delicious and I eat here occasionally when I'm in the area. My personal favorite is the burrito bowl. My wife likes their soft tacos. Meat choices are pork, steak, beef, and chicken. I typically get the steak. If you're sensitive to spicy foods, keep your napkins handy to wipe your nose. One interesting side note: the music is never the same from one visit to another and often feels out of sync for the type of food served. Just a small "beef" I have with the place (pun intended).
(5)Ginny B.
Haha, I love that this chain (owned by McDonald's corp) is the highest rated Mexican in Frederick. If you've ever tried Chipotle, you know why the line is always at or out the door. Great fresh ingredients and nothing else quite satisfies a Chipotle craving when you have one!
