Felt like a kid again revisiting this tacky and quaint town style restaurant. The menus are appropriately coffee stained, the floor is twenty year old carpet, the chairs are the same you'd find in a Methodist church basement. I asked for sausage gravy and the kind waitress said they were all out of it. Shocked, I settled for the next best thing, scrapple. Had breakfast for two for just $20 with a good tip. Even had hot maple syrup. Isabella's can't beat that. Go watch a Cessna land, listen to country music, and top off your post coital bliss with pancakes.

I love the Airways Inn. I've been coming here since I was a child and Frederick still had an air show. The food is always delicious and the prices cannot be beat. The cream of crab soup is the best in Frederick. Service is friendly and fast. You also can't beat the view out the window of the tarmac. If you like tasty, homestyle food at amazing prices, dine at the Airways Inn.

This place is a great stop for decent meals at a good price. It's a classic country, no frills kind of place. You can sit at the window and watch planes taxi by. The menu is the traditional, old school array of baked, grilled and fried but it's tasty stuff. The nice thing about it is that it's simple, clean, diner style that isn't pretending to be anything else.

Cool little joint! I'd get there early, as they run out of some things later in the day. But it really took me back to the home town, friendly mom & pop type of breakfast places where I grew up. We were sat quickly, food ordered and served quickly, waitresses had a lot of regular customers, the customers around us were friendly, love the Chef's Special Benedict (though that asparagus was cooked to death!), and that chef knew how to fry up some scrapple!!!!! The hollandaise? A bit thin. The coffee? Decent and served in chipped mugs (which actually added a to the air of the place in a good way). Never had to ask for a refill. Just a solid place with solid food at real cheap prices. Good folk!

Was very good for the price. We did seem to have to wait quite a while longer than others. I got the eggs Benedict which was good. Needed more hollandaise sauce and the accompanied asparagus was way over done. Was disappointed because I saw others asparagus which looked perfectly done while mine was shriveled and pretty hard. Husband liked his blueberry pancakes. Will be back to try again.

We like going to this place as they have a great breakfast and the best burger in town. The only downside is some of the blowhards you have to endure listening to as they conduct conversations with each other across the room. Had to leave the place without eating the last time I was there because some extremely rude guy was talking across the restaurant endlessly going on about batteries and his toy model airplanes.

We like to go for breakfast. The food and prices are very good. The view out to the runway, the images of airplanes on the walls and the miniatures hanging from the ceiling add to the atmosphere of eating at the little airport. Not fancy, but enjoyable. It can get crowded at times so come early. Plenty of easy parking in the airport lot.

The eggs Chesapeake are the best! This is a great destination restaurant. Drive a bit to Frederick Airport for some of the best crabcakes around. There are several tables with great views of the planes taxiing by. There are usually a fair amount of specials to supplement the regular menu. The chili is always a good bet, the steak and cheese is yummy, the hamburgers are always hot, the steak kabob salad with tons of feta cheese is one of my favorites. Dinners are large portions and great value The desserts feature homemade pies. They do serve beer and wine and breakfast is served on weekends until 12:30. not a fancy smancy place -- good cooking, casual atmosphere. enjoy!

We love this place. Its the little hole in the wall place that looks a little old but the food is really good. The salad with chicken tenderloins is very good with a large amount of chicken on a good sized salad. Breakfast is really good too. The eggs benedict with crab cake is really, really good. The prices are low too. Definitely one of the local Frederick places that you need to try out.

Really, it is what it is. I don't think it's any hidden gem in Frederick. It just is what it is. I had the waffle special here and it took a while to come out but when it finally did, it was nicely crispy on the outside and warm and fluffy on the inside. Typical dinerish menu and ambiance except you get to watch the planes land. Good prices

One of Fredrick's best kept secrets, and I hope it stays that way. This is the only joint in town that can beat Cheeseburgers 'n' Paradise (Beef n Buns) in burger per $. Aside from the burgers, the crab cakes are to kill for, and the wait staff is friendly and pleasant.

Airways Inn at the Frederick Airport is a local cafe airport eatery but has a lot of memories for my family and I. The seating is great looking over the airport. What this place lacks in the latest decor it makes up for in quality of the food. This is a great place to eat coming in from out of town by GA... a great $100 hamburger!

Really good food and reasonable pricing! Best part is the airplanes hanging and the view of the airport. Its soooo pretty. :)

Nothing makes this airport restaurant stand out, but it is reliable. Airways Inn has good waitstaff and a good mix of food, with a nice view of the going-ons at the airport.

This is a reliably good lunch spot to hit whether traveling in by air or ground. A nice view of the flight line, and great crab cakes, burgers, sandwiches etc., and friendly service.

Diner service, diner food, diner quality, and diner pricing. I would have given them a good rating except the restaurant is dirty. It needs a good steam cleaning. I'm afraid of what the kitchen must look like. And, in the Summer, the place is full of flies.
