So I called this place on 07/02/2015 at 10:13 PM and as soon as I got connected the person who answered said "Waterloo Pizza We Are Closed!!" Who closes 45 minutes before closing time. I told him that it said 11PM on the menu that I was handed and he said Oh well I don't have any drivers and then hung up on me before I could say that I wanted carry out. Needless to say that I won't be ordering from them ever!! And I also plan to tell the management at the hotel I'm staying at to through away the menus and not give them to any guests. There are business out there that would love to have late night guests for delivery and carry out. The fact is that there menu is way to big to be that great for pizza and since pizza is my favorite food I didn't want to waste my time ordering it from there. So I wanted to try something simple like a sub but unfortunately I was denied this opportunity due to the laziness of the employees. Know this that for everyone that gave this place a 5 star review I promise you that it was just an account created by the owners to help compensate for the 1 star reviews they have from the real customers

Man i read the yelps other people left and thought this might be worth a try. I ordered a cheese steak, chicken cheese steak, and med cheese pizza. I picked up my order and got home. The pizza looked good. After the first bite, i liked the sauce and cheese. It reminded me of skating ring pizza, not that good or bad but worth a dollar to stop your hunger. This place isn't charging a dollar and i would not buy again. The cheese steak and chicken cheese steaks were horrible. Im am from up north so I'm sure if this is how they do down here or what but they had packaged cheese on the sandwiches. The thick slice velveeta cheese you would use for your kids grilled cheeses's, they put on my cheese steak.smmfh I'm never going back or even recommending.

This is one the best places I've ordered from. You don't think it's hard to screw up pizza, but dammit it is! This place always gets it right, when I've ordered. The employees have been nice and the owner is so great over the phone. The pizza, the wings, the fries, the gyros, the baklava, the sandwiches, etc. its all been good.

I used to love this place. I've ordered from them for 20 years. They are very inconsistent. I have had the best shrimp old Bay cheese steaks from here, next day horrible soggy disgusting. Customer service is definitely not something they care about. I called to complain once about missing items from my order and the woman was screaming she was the manager and put the mozzarella sticks in the bag herself. I never received them though of course I did not realize until the delivery man left. It's definitely a risky place, never know what your going to get. Too many options around to deal with wondering what kind of service you will get.

This place is very inconsistent. Some days you get great food that is prepared well and others you get a thrown together mess that lacks flavor. If you really don't have any expectations and just want nourishment, I suppose this is the place. However, if you want to be sure you are getting a quality product every time then avoid it at all costs.

We actually really liked getting the white pizza from Waterloo, but Andrea's review of the lack of cleanliness has completely turned me off. It was good, but not worth risking food poisoning.

This place is great!! I order pizza from them at least once a week. Made fresh every day pizza crust, homemade marinara is to die for. They have very good specialty pizzas. My personal favorite is the meat lovers. Every meat known to man is on that pizza! The staff are ALWAYS working... so sometimes they come across not super personal. But they all have such good hearts, you can tell. Just a small business trying to make it, that's the feeling you get when you walk in. They are not super expensive but they are definitely more expensive than places like Dominos. But you pay for what you get.

With farm-to-table being the new rage in restaurants, the corollary to this takeout place is Sysco bag to styrofoam. I've ordered takeout here over the years and my recent experience was not great. The cheesesteak had low quality beef and had so many condiments it was very soupy. Everything else was just simply deep fried. I have not tried their pizza.

The service was horrible. I ordered a personal pizza and they told me 20 mins. I got there in about 20 mins and he said it will be another 10 mins (which ended up being another 20 mins). While I waited he attempted to give me a pizza that had already been sitting out in the waiting area for who knows how long. I appreciate the gesture but the pizza was cold and after waiting already 30 mins I wanted my food hot. It still can out with running cheese and sliding pepperonis. I won't be visiting again

Waterloo Pizza&Subs conveniently located like 5-6 min nearby where I live... So whenever I feel like a sub or slice of cheese pizza I come cross Waterloo! They really have good pizza and it's delicious at reasonable price! As I usually try my favorite food "Philly Cheese Steak" and "Gyro" at any place before I write a review about, Actually this little pizza shop got really good Gyro and Philly filled with lots of meat! Their fries is different I mean in a good way.. It tastes like seasoned fries but it isn't! I like their food a lot and will continue to order from here!

I've been eating at this place off and on for a few years and just had to complain loudly at an absolutely horrible customer service experience. For mediocre and inconsistent food, you should have decent service, at least. I ordered a sub without onions and was delivered to my home, a sub with onions. I called to explain the mishap. The grumpy sounding individual that spoke with a bad mumble and an even worse attitude, explained to me that I was wrong, as if I wasn't spitting out the onions. He insisted he made the sub with no onions and we went back and forth until I asked him to just return my money out of frustration. He continued to explain to me that he could send a new sub but I didn't want a new sub I just wanted him to refund the money for the sub due the awful debate over if the sub had onions or not. He explained I could return the sub to the store and that sounded ridiculous. Why would I return the poorly made sub to the store at 10pm while he sits there waiting to refund me MY money. This guy TRULY did not understand customer service at all. He stood firm on NOT refunding my money unless I drove to his store. I explained that I would call my credit card company and find out my options I called my credit card company to stop the charge. They said I'd have to call back after the charge posted to dispute it and I can have the sub shop stop the charge of indidnt want to wait. I called back to speak to the closing manager. You guessed it. The piss poor customer service guy, is the manager. Of course. So this guy took the order, processed the payment, cooked the food(incorrectly), and fielded the compliant subsequent. After ANOTHER back and forth with this manager jerk. He asked if I still had the food, and I, of course, did. I have a food allergy. Eventually I talked/argued him into refunding my money for the entire order. But this guy had his driver come out and pick up the food before he said he would refund my money. I feel bad for the driver. What a completely crappy situation to be in. But that just goes to show you the height of that closing managers spiteful and skeptical behavior. What a silly place. I won't ever eat there again. And the stand-out customer service blunder, will linger and I'm sure I'll tell that story for years to come.

One of the best pizza / sub shops in Howard County. It is tucked away in a small strip mall near Costco and Trader Joes. The amtoshpere; Looks like your normal pizza spot and no space for dinning inside the restaurant, located off the beaten path, but plenty of parking. Make sure u call ahead and place your order. The food; Everything I have tried on their massive menu is worth a try. The pizzas are fresh and handmade from the crust to the sauce, my favorite is the philly cheesesteak with the works. Taste as good as the major spots in philly, save yourself some time plus gas. You can get the BEST cheesesteak sub here in Elkridge. The service; The staff is fast and efficient, no matter how busy they are.

A co-worker and I had work in the area, and decided to grab a takeout lunch. We both had the salad (trying to be healthy) which was HUGE and very fresh. The grilled chicken on top was amazing -- not sure what type of spices were used but it was great and much better than a normal deli salad. Everyone was super friendly and the service was quick. I like supporting small businesses and will definitely return if I'm ever in the area.

I have ordered from this shop maybe 10 times over the last few years, never once have they been anywhere near consistent. The folks answering the phones need to have a class in how to speak to people, I don't care about the employee-to-customer aspect as much as I do just the "polite thing". When you charge 10 bucks, then complain that you shouldn't have to add cheese to a meatball sub is ludicrous. Any other place will add toppings of your choice without issue, except these goofs. When ordering at Subway (not a favorite either but better), they give you free topping such as cheese. When I asked for some mozzarella, I was told "you don't get any cheese" with that kind of sub. Well.....you do anywhere else!

This place is the absolute best! It is by far my favorite restaurant in Elkridge. Their french fries are amazing and their cheese pizza is the best. Salads are also very large portion wise. It is cute, quaint and family owned. I would rather give my money to a local establishment then a large chain. I definitely recommend giving it a shot.

We spent $28 on two subs and some fries and got.... A wimpy, generic cheese steak that was very light on the steak and the cheese. The Italian Cold Cut had 3 slices of meat, one slice of cheese ($.89 was paid for 'extra"), and didn't have the pickles, or vinegar and oil as requested; even though it was printed on the receipt. The sweet potato fries were the only good part. Long story short, I feel ripped off. Not ordering from there again!

I've had pizza here several times because it's the only pizza place near where I work, but I've come to realize that they are inconsistent. I usually get the pizza by the slice, and sometimes they have them, sometimes they don't, and they're never the same size. I ordered delivery once and the pizza came half folded over in the box, and the boneless buffalo bites had no sauce. I didn't realize it until the delivery guy drove off. Today I ordered wings and a slice, they said it would take ten minutes, it actually took 20 and they had to ask again what I was waiting for, but then once I got my food and drove away, I opened the pizza box to see a smaller than usual slice, with crust that looked like it had stuck to the pan and was ripped off, so I went back and the guy acted like knew he had given me a bad slice, and just tried to get away with it. He said it himself the pizza had stuck but that was all they had, a new pizza would take 12 more minutes, so he gave me my money back for the slice. The wings were tough. I'm Never going back to Waterloo pizza.

I stumbled across this place while looking for a quick meal and I saw the "...& Subs", so I thought what the heck. It's a small spot, no place to eat, but they have a water cooler and some chairs for you to sit in while you wait. I really like their menu; it has a great mixture of traditional foods and some eclectic multicultural things which is not the norm, I've found. I spotted a gyro on their menu and that was it. I ordered the "yee-ro" and the man corrected me, "ji-row" and then my husband and I said, "We're pretty sure it's "yee-ro" with a little bit of an "h" sound on the "g". This was a truly weird conversation. The man behind the counter was clearly not even of Palin's intellect and wanted to pretend he was the subject matter expert on Greek food pronunciation. So, we looked it up on my Tilt and showed him the correct pronunciation. Then he said that he really didn't know and he was just saying it the way people say it "around here". It was an odd thing to argue about, but at least it kept us busy while we waited for the thing that is hard to pronounce correctly to come out. It took about 15 minutes or so to get the Greek pita sandwich, but it was worth the wait. I was starving, so it might not have been as good as I remember, but what I do remember is: *The meat was very tender and tasty *They didn't overdo it with the yogurt sauce and it tasted good *The pita bread was fresh, warm and delicious *Good amount of lettuce & tomato to compliment the meat Dang it, now I want a gyro.

Quick service. I ordered a cheesesteak at the (carry-out only) restaurant, they said it would be ready in 10 minutes. And it was. Which is quite the feat because I think the only guy at the grill pumped out at least 5 other cheesesteaks before mine. Good subs. Decent amount of meat. No MSG from what I could tell. A little short on the tomatoes but tasty. I was happy with it. Fries were ok; they were beer battered but too crispy - as in enamel-scratching crispy - for my taste. The fries come in a large serving though, almost enough for two. Odd interior. Interior is a bit nice, and a bit hole-in-the-wall. Tiling is new. They have a classic kitchen-type cabinet facing you, above the cashier, when you come in. It's partially wood and partially glass, and filled with various items you would actually find in a kitchen cabinet including china. I have no idea why. As mentioned before, there isn't really any place to eat inside the store. There are about 4 worn chairs if you want to sit and wait for your food. Stay away from the doors if you wait; there are delivery guys going in and out of the restaurant all the time. Conclusion. Overall a good experience. Just a little pricey: $10 for my 8" sub, fries, and can soda. So far the best (and quickest) cheesesteaks in Elkridge. Looking forward to returning and trying out their other offerings.

Waterloo Pizza & Subs is a little sub shop located in the Lark Brown Shopping Center. We first ordered from them when we moved into their delivery area 2 years ago. We were tired of pizza and wanted to get subs. We probably get delivery/take out subs from them once a month--steak & cheese with onions and peppers. The steak is seasoned well--something that is often missing from these random sub shops. They have wedge fries and regular fries (like Checker's). They are both tasty :-) I've also tried a chicken parmesan sandwich there, which I would not recommend. The sauce tasted strange and just wasnt' a pleasant experience. I also got a cheeseburger sub one time and it was pretty good. I would order it again. One thing I like about this spot is speed--they roll in there. I've watched them when I've picked up and see why our delivery is so fast--they move in there. Our delivery order is always fast and knock on wood, is always right. We order 2 subs and one order fries (a regular size is plenty for both of us) for $20 after tax and tip. The portion sizes are good (8" subs, lots of meat, regular fries big enough to feed 2 people). They also include a menu that has coupons for future sub purchases. We've yet to try the pizza (boyfriend likes papa johns--i can't get him to branch out) or the wings, but both looked good when I look at them when I do carry out. I would recommend trying this place if you are tired of chinese and pizza for delivery--just steer clear of the chicken parmigiana sub. It has scared me away from trying any type of pasta dish there.

My boyfriend and I use to eat at this place all the time. They put up a help wanted sign and I had experience so I applied. I got the job and as soon as I walked into the back of the kitchen I was disgusted. The owner asked me to make a pizza. I went to the hand washing sink where there was a knife sitting in the sink. There was always boxes of food and containers just sitting out in the back. I washed my hands and made a pizza. The owner said he'd show me how they made a pizza when the next order came in. He proceeded to walked around grab a rag answer the phone and took an order. Then grabbed the dough ( that had been sitting out all day on the counter) and made the pizza. I was disgusted by the fact he didn't wash his hands. Who knows what he touched. The coolers had open containers of food and easily contaminated with chicken and veggies sitting next to each other. No one wears gloves there and looked at me like I was crazy when I asked. Need less to say I went back the following day to see if things got better and ended up leaving and asking for the money for the hours I had worked. I will not ever eat there again or recommend any one does.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

(1)Angela F.
This place is very inconsistent. Some days you get great food that is prepared well and others you get a thrown together mess that lacks flavor. If you really don't have any expectations and just want nourishment, I suppose this is the place. However, if you want to be sure you are getting a quality product every time then avoid it at all costs.
(2)Becca R.
We actually really liked getting the white pizza from Waterloo, but Andrea's review of the lack of cleanliness has completely turned me off. It was good, but not worth risking food poisoning.
(2)Ashlie S.

(1)Danyielle L.

Great place for good food delivered hot & fresh. My wife and I have tried many items on their menu yet to be disappointed.
