Glory Days is everything that I expected it to be. A very average chain sports bar with average chain food. Their beer list is ok for the run-of-the-mill beer drinker but considering craft beer is a huge trend these days (and it seems many average bars have taken notice of this trend) Glory Days beer list is just average (or a little less IMO). What isn't average is the prices. Sure, they aren't break-your-wallet kind of prices but, for an average sports bar they are ridiculous (not the beer, just the food prices). From the salads to the burger to the grilled salmon, everything was just average but our bill certainly was not. All in all, if I were a sports fan, maybe I'd come here to watch a game but other than that, this is not a place that will go out of my way to make a regular appearance.

Tried this place several times hoping it was me and not the restaurant but that's not the case. slow service. food was not so good. problems with dishes served (asked for no onions but loaded with them). Good place to get a cold beer and watch a game. Very loud.

Great chicken tenders. But don't come late or else you will get ignored by the bartender to serve her young if not underage coworkers. Please get a real staff in here that won't make people wait over 20 minutes to pay their check.

Good location to come in and watch a Ravens Game, an amplitude of t.v.'s and Big Screens and a great outside patio for summer evening lounging. Good food and good prices, the service and wait time varies of course based on the day of week. Repeat for us and willing to recommend this establishment.

we usually go late - 8-9 p.m. no wait at all. the service is better than when crazy busy. food is hot. i like the fish and hubby loves the burgers! best burgers in town! friends love the wings. beware if you try to make it a date at normal hours -- the wait is extreme

Because of an outstanding effort by a glory days representative to address my concerns, I am changing my review to 3 stars. Perhaps i caught tgem on a bad day...i will return and hopefully can add yet another star :-)

Not a big fan of the food here. If you want to get together with your friends it's a great social hangout place, but not for dinner. My kids love the place so if you have a family it's a good choice The shrimp app is the best thing to get

I attended Glory Days for Happy Hour with some pals from work on a Thursday evening. First off- their Happy Hour menu is great and I highly recommend going any day of the week. Their drink specials are your basic bar finds with specials on beer and rail drinks, but every day of the week is a different food item special. On Thursdays, I lucked out by going on Pizza Night where a medium size pie was only 6 bucks! It was great to eat alone and have leftovers for lunch or share with a friend! I tried both the buffalo chicken and a plain pie and was impressed with both. As we sat at the bar, the bartender was great and was consistently asking for refills and such. My only beef is we had to ask a few times for napkins before she remembered to grab some for us, when we were about halfway through the pizza. I am eager to go back and try more of their menu and take advantage of the Snack Attack deals in the evenings.

Average sports bar with a decent beer menu. The veggie burger was dry and dense and covered in strangely colored cheese like product. The bbq sauce was tasty but not enough for me to return. The fried pickles were nicely battered but the dip was strangely flavored. If you eat at places like BWW, you should try the food here because their beer menu is better.

Great sports bar with all the action the food is solid. We had wings. Crab cakes, bison burger and everything was hot and good. We had a good time eating drinking and watching O's play ball. The bison burger was very flavorful and juicy fries were hot a good solid American meal. The iced tea was refreshing.

Good burgers. Solid ribs. But I don't recommend going near closing time. We were completely forgotten about and the food was less than good.

Had a great lunch there enjoyed my football game. Went to see the charger game. it wasn't on, told my waitress. She was nice and sweet and fixed the issue I think her name Brittany she was an excellent waitress made sure my drink was never empty I am definitely coming back thanks to the waitress

Was at Glory Days 4-16-14 they had forgot our appetizer, and bought out same time as meal. The food was good as always. But over heard waiter say they cut back and don't have bus boys any more. Lady next to us said took a while to get her order. Hopefully they get there act together or they might lose more then just bus boys! We will give one more chance.

Ok now this really is the last chance that I have given this place. The salads were no better than a bag salad. The boneless chicken wings were more like processed chicken nuggets. The only highlights were the service was good, and they have a decent beer selection, and the sauce on the wings was actually good.

Typical bar food and domestic beer choices. Gets really crowded. Kid loves the TV where she can watch and listen to cartoons.

The wait is terrible. The food is average, but not worth the price at all. The servers all appear to be young & have no idea about customer service. I've been here 3-4 times & same results EVERYTIME.

Very crowded. Always ate at the bar. Too lazy to wait for table. Always been served quickly many choices on draft beer. Food is bar food. What do you want?????

Newly opened July 4th, this was my first visit. Our server, Amber, was great. The food was not so great. We started with southwest egg rolls which were tasty. I ordered crab cake sliders and caesar salad. I should know better than to ever order crab cakes in a place like this, but alas, I did, and as you'd expect they were awful. Just awful. The salad was nice & fresh, though. My lunch partner had the fish sandwich and didn't care for it or the cole slaw alongside at all. The roll tasted stale. The fries were okay, though. I might come back and try something else, but I think this might be better as a drink spot.

Good food. Serving times are VERY slow. In my opinion the kitchen cannot handle the size of the restaurant. Always slow but the staff tries hard.
(3)
Jive T.
It had just opened before I left the area, but the food was really good and the beer was always cold and quickly served. The prices were reasonable and the staff was quick and friendly. It does get busy which could mean waiting for a table for ~15 mins and it got really loud when families were there during the dinner hour. I was always happy with the food and the service. For a new-er location and just recently opening when I was there, I never had a moment that would create a complaint or any issues with the food or service. It was fun, the music in the background was always good, and the bathrooms were always clean.

Ok let's go blow by blow My children love this place. They have televisions literally everywhere. They are one of those miracle places that have speakers on the tables that you can dial to which ever channel you desire to hear. These magical places turn a crazy mommy into a calm and grateful person, able to actually eat dinner in PEACE instead of pieces. The food is good. I wouldn't say it is a foodies dream but it is very consistent in its quality. I like the glazed salmon, and the 10 spice chicken. Both have always been good the girls love their wings both traditional and grilled. The service is good, but the waiters and waitresses work as a team and you can always feel the warmth a hardworking team will give versus an individual type of service format. My mom loves the seared tilapia, so there is something for everyone. Oh and the price is right!

Bar food probably does not rate more than three stars. Certainly if not overly imaginative, it does not. Glory Days does bar food generally pretty well, but the kitchen lacks in imagination. Both food and prices are just what one would expect for a Sports Bar, but occasional specials (example: Taco Tuesdays) comprise uncommonly good value. There is a moderately large and diverse menu of beers on tap, including certain selections that change from time to time. An electronic scoreboard at the bar helpfully ranks the available beers in terms of increasing bitterness. Televisions abound, but as is the case with many establishments, sharper pictures occur on smaller screens. Kudos to Glory Days for providing wireless loudspeaker boxes at each table, equipped with a knob to allow a table of diners to tune to the audio feed of their choice. That said, when the action is heavy (e.g., an NFL Sunday) the noise level may drown out the audio of your game even with the speaker box set to maximum volume. Concrete floors and block walls contribute to the din by echoing the sound waves unhelpfully. The perfect Sports Bar maybe has not yet been invented. Glory Days probably is the best of the local South Carroll efforts in this genre. An acoustical engineer would do the place wonders, and a little more kitchen imagination would be welcome too. We're never disappointed (repeat patrons) but also infrequently wowed.

Beer list is good. The food is bar food, not bad though. Good place to watch a game with some friends. They also have some arcade games for the kids. I have been a couple of times and have been satisfied this far.

we went in and sat for 15 minutes and not one person came to our table we then got up to leave not even the hostess said a word to us this is piss poor service. Saw three servers talking by the coke fountain on our way out. The menus were sticky and gross . If the front of the house is like this then what does the back look like ? Go to Buffalo Wild Wings if you want good bar food!

I returned to Glory Days to have a couple beers and meal with my friends. While our service was much improved from prior visit (we did not sit at bar this time), the food was not anything special and the prices on beer were way too high. I really don't see how i can justify stopping in here again.
(2)
John T.
Food is decent. It's what I expect. I would expect better service. It really doesn't matter whether you sit at the bar or at a table, you will be disappointed with your service. This is not based on one visit, but rather many visits. I have actually been pretty impressed with how consistently bad the service is. Don't get me wrong, I will return. I like the place overall. Just wish they had better service. However, it is on par with the other Eldersburg restaurants in this dining class.

Just OK, not great. Has lost a lot of its momentum from its opening 2 years ago. I agree with a previous review, Curbside to Go does well. However, in the restaurant, the poor service (seems to be a trend in Eldersburg, a bit of Chili's misfortune creeping in to Glory Days) does not compensate for the decent-but-not great food. With Oscar's having recently taken things up a notch, this is no longer the best place to grab wings and watch a big game.

Great place in Eldersburg! This place is a Greene Turtle with a different name. Big, loud, lots of televisions - perfect for dinner with kids or to hang out for a game. Food is good too. I had the Octoberfest special with sausage and kraut, and it was excellent! Second time I had a burger which was quite good as well. Obviously they have a large and diverse beer menu and a full bar. The one complaint I have with Glory Days is that both times I've been there the food service has been extremely slow. Expect a 90 minute dinner here, especially Thurs-Sunday.
(4)
Edwin L.
There is nothing glorious about this place. They have Rippers (hot dog) for $5 every Tuesday, and I still felt RIPPED off. There is nothing healthy about those rippers. It's filled with sodium, cheese, fried onions, and anything unhealthy you can think of, it's there. The service was SOOO LONG....... by the time the food is ready, my GLORY DAYS were long gone. I do like how they have TVs everywhere, and their high-tech wireless speakers system where you can choose the TV you want to listen to. But other than that, this place was a big miss.

This place is your standard run of the mill national sports bar. The bartender however doesn't do a decent job of mixing drinks, margarita's are always made with far too much mix and barely any alcohol. Food isn't very flavorful.

Maybe I'm too quick to give 5 stars but I do love this place! Great drinks and great food! I've had the burger, the salads, the wings, etc... and they were all delicious!!! Great happy hour as well! It may be a generic chain but for Eldersburg, it's pretty darn good for a quick and reliable bite! And judging by how crowded it gets, I think others agree as well! Oh and the margaritas are excellent!!
