Stopped enroute back to CT for my daughter's first Wa-ho experience. Very frieldly servers made the 4th star. A solid three for the food- sure it's not the Rainbow Room, but price and convienence rule the road-food breakfast game.

Nice and clean Waffle House. The waiters and cooks on duty were high school / college age boys who were very friendly but not in a creepy way to my female friend and me. They realized we were novices to the Waffle House Experience so they kindly explained things to us. Suggested we get the All Star Special since it had everything that we wanted to try. Consistently but not overbearingly checked up on us. Refilled coffee. Made friendly conversation with us about how people from New Jersey love Waffle Houses and they always take pictures with the menu. We did no such thing though we did take pictures of ourselves in the Waffle House (and with the Casa de Waffle sauce XD). They were friendly to Steelers fans though, which got them extra tips from us.

My First Waffle House experience and it did not disappoint. In full disclosure, 2 of these stars are for the fight I witnessed in the parking lot. I don't condone violence but I feel this was part of the experience. Like many others, this was a stop on the way home from Baltimore. We waited less than 5 minutes to be seated! The menu is straight forward and CHEAP. I mean like 1950s cheap!!! Moreover, the menu is 95% carbohydrates which is a dream for ratio me. I ordered OJ, a SWEET CREAM waffle, and a side of bacon. Food came out in about 7 minutes. The waffle was amazing, it was sweet and I loved the texture. They provide pads of margarine and there are bottles of syrup on the table. I may smuggle in some kerrygold butter next time to take it up a notch...why not! I didn't love the bacon, flavorless and too crisp for my liking. Going forward, I will not order form the 5% portion of the menu. I will order carbs with a side of carbs so possibly a SWEET CREAM waffle with a side of grits or a SWEET CREAM waffle with a side of hash browns if I'm feeling the vibe. I will definitely be back, to bet on a fight and to eat CARBS!!!!!!

service at this location was excellent. having lived in the Deep South, I have been to many a WH. The country ham is good stuff, I recommend you get it with grits and a couple of eggs.. WH ain't nothin' fancy but it is a reasonably priced place to sit and eat and a step up from fast food.. very close to I-95 with easy access.. the coffee is decent.

The best thing about this place is you know what you're getting. I ordered 2 plain waffles and a drink. It was good and the service here was good also. It was busy so it was actually a little time before I got my second waffle but I was still eating my first so it wasn't a big deal.

Never a dull moment at the waffle house, Im positive this is not my first time at this location. I tend to not expect much the food is very inexpensive yet very good and the set up is very open. I get the same thing every time, "all star special" ! The best value for the money. This time it was very busy , standing room only but within 10 minutes we were seated and served. You have to get use to the kitchen being right next to the tables and being able to hear all the conversations and joking from the staff. My initial thought was they are doing more socializing than working but then I was just glad that they were having a great time doing their jobs. With the speed at which our food was delivered it was OBVIOUS they were doing more working that chatting. Our server was Brit and she was awesome. She saw the table of four road tripping girls, immediately offered to split the checks and took care of everything. I appreciate her efficiency and effort to give us good service yet keep it moving. I will without question return.

Me oh my, Waffle House is my kind of place. I have several friends that swear by it, and I decided it was finally time to try it. Two friends and I stopped by this location just north of Baltimore on the way home from a weekend in Annapolis. It was Sunday afternoon, so we had to wait about 15 minutes to be seated during what I'm guessing is the busiest time of the week. While we were waiting, I got a bit worried about how hectic it was. There were at least a dozen employees behind the counter, but they totally make it work. I was impressed with how systematic everyone was; we were served within 10 minutes of ordering, and everything was prepared as we had requested. The setup was pretty interesting. The cooking stations are in the center, with a bar immediately surrounding it, and several tables bordering the outside of the restaurant. As if you aren't hungry enough, you get to watch (and smell) the food being cooked. It's like a hibachi for the blue collar breakfast lover. Overall, it's a great place to grab a quick (and cheap) breakfast. Everyone is incredibly friendly, and it makes for a very enjoyable meal. The setup keeps the customer-waitress interaction very easy and convenient, in case you should need anything else for your meal (sugar, creamer, ketchup, etc). I hope all the other Waffle House locations are as great as this one! Fun Fact: iPhone autocorrects waffle house to Waffle House. As it should.

This waffle house is great! We stopped here on our way back to New York from Washington DC and had the all star special & it was delicious. Tasty food at a great price and the service was good as well. Overall it was a very pleasant experience.

I love the waffle house. This one is small but the food was still good. Lots of staff yelling at one another here though, and a very small counter. Food order was correct and served quickly, and my drink refilled promptly.

My first experience EVER at a Waffle House. WOW. For a small place, they get the job done! We walked in and everyone behind the counter (between 8 and 10, not sure since they kept moving around) said hello. Friday morning at 10:30 and we got the only two open spots at the counter. They had some interesting looking things on the menu, but we both went with the biscuits and sausage gray, adding hashbrowns after spying the "Casa de Waffle" salsa in the condiment tray. This is one well-oiled operation. Everyone behind the counter has a job and they seem to do it well. One is making waffles, three guys are at the grill (one on hashbrowns, one on eggs, one on sausage and bacon). Another employee was in charge of the toast. Two taking the orders and one washing dishes. WHEW! We pretty much had our food before I could take in all the scenery. There was a jukebox playing music a bit louder than my usual preference but hey, I was at The Waffle House! When a disc came on that was apparently defective, the young guy managing the door was told to unplug it. Hmmm, after that...I kinda missed it. I actually couldn't finish all my breakfast, it was a lot of food. And cheap! Interestingly enough, when we left, they were still packed. And as we left the parking lot, we noticed the Denny's across the street had two cars in it. Me thinks the Waffle House rules in this town!

So me and my man is on our way to NY for the Labor Day festival. We decided before we left our house in MD that we were stopping at a Waffle House for breakfast on our way up and I'm glad we stopped at this one. We got there we had to wait about 10mins before we were seated but the host was great and very happy. Once we were seated our food was ordered and served within 10mins. They had a lot of help and very well staffed for a holiday. We are stopping on our way home!!

Five stars for a little diner place? Definitely! The food and the service is always great, at every Waffle House in every state where I have dined there. The hashbrowns are great, I love them covered in cheese with diced tomatoes, mushrooms and chili. The waffle is awesome, it has a malty flavor to it that I haven't experienced elsewhere. This place is also ridiculously cheap. It would be hard to break $10 if you are dining alone. Great food and fast friendly service sums up the whole experience. We will return again and again.

Again - I'll side with those that are confused with all the glowing remarks. I wouldn't normally waste a Yelp review on a place like this but WOW...just wow. I nearly barfed through the entire meal. We ate at the counter at around 10am on a Sunday, and it was busy, the place was a wreck - and very crowded. Our food came quickly; I had an omelette, with cheese and ham. The cheese tasted like something out of a can, and there were a scant few ham chunks tossed in, nothing like the picture on the menu. The eggs were whipped into a foam like texture - kind of foam rubbery, not very appealing. But get this, as we dined, a man was pouring 5 gallon buckets of steaming hot water all over the kitchen floor - he must have poured 2 or 3 at a time - floating all the nasty bits that fell to the kitchen floor, meanwhile the people working there, feet soaking in this slop, up to their pants, soaking their pant legs - it was disgusting, he was squeegeeing this muck all over the place. He must have done it 2 or 3 times - the entire time we were there the kitchen was a dirty disgusting lake of floating debris, with the employees slogging around in it up to their ankles...seemingly oblivious to the entire process. Man clean the floors when you are not busy...before or after hours - 10am on a Sunday morning - was one of the most disgusting things I have ever seen in a restaurant.

Went back Tuesday around 2:00pm. My son and I noticed that it wasn't that many cars in the parking lot so we chose to stop in. We walked in and waited awhile before we were even greeted. We were told to sit anywhere and could not find ONE clean table! There were only 3 tables full, the rest were just dirty. We seen a staff that we had never seen before. We walked towards the windows and a waitress was cleaning a table and remarks with a big sigh that she's trying to "get outta there" to another waitress right in front of my son and I. In disbelief, we walked right out of the restaurant. We do not want to eat anywhere that doesn't even welcome us. Sad and disappointed.

Yuck. It was so dirty that I refused to order. The place was empty but the tables were dirty. The floor was dirty and sticky. It smelled badly. I told the people that I was with that I wasn't eating or drinking. I then just told them that I couldn't stay. We all left and went to a nearby diner.

What else can you ask from a Waffle House? The food is always very fast, delicious, and cheap. Where else can you get the quality of food for this price? And this fast? That's why I love Waffle House. This Waffle House is located conveniently right off I-95 next to a gas station and I believe a Burger King. Service was great. Just try not to mind the truck drivers who love to come in and try their hardest to flirt with the waitresses - wow some of them (truck drivers) are scary!

It's the Waffle House. Service was fast and the food is what you'd expect. This is not a place i'd recommend to a foodie but if you're hungry it will do. One my visit I had the waffles. They came to the table fast and they were crispy and soft in the middle. My only complaint is the syrup was corn syrup and the butter was artificial.

Went on a Sunday morning with a party of 7 and were seated within 20 minutes (way faster than expected since it was really busy). At first, I was a bit overwhelmed by the sheer amount of people in the kitchen....but upon sitting at the bar realized that this place has everything down to a science. Our food was served in about 10 minutes and tasted good. The hash browns were pretty bland...but upon seeing the giant carton they come out of, I shouldn't be surprised. Try not to get a seat under one of the air vents. They keep the place pretty cold since the kitchen is just hanging out in the middle of the place and it's really tiny....we would all probably boil to death within minutes if they didn't keep it sub-zero. I was a slow eater that day and the last bites of my food were very cold because we were under a vent....but my Texas Bacon Egg and Cheese Melt was pretty damn tasty. It was also really cheap and included hash browns and a soft drink. At first I was really concerned because I've had bad experiences with Waffle Houses in the past (meaning they have had me racing the clock on the way home to not get sick everywhere) but this one did not have that effect. I managed to go to a wedding and have a great day and not feel any gastrointestinal distress at all. Huzzah! I can't give it more than 3 stars though because it is a Waffle House and if any of my Philadelphia breakfast/ brunch spots knew I cheated on them with this chain....they might leave me.

Crisp bacon massive hash browns amazing waffles tasty burgers. By far my favorite restaurant. Open 24/7. For the calorie counters get the hash browns steamed with a grilled chicken salad and unsweetened iced tea.

I am AMAZED at these positive reviews. It was our first (and last) time in a Waffle House. Sat at the counter and watched 8 people in front of us making waffles on a messy, dripping waffle iron, bumping into each other. A sorry presentation. Our meal came ONE ITEM AT A TIME. Here's your hash brown. Three or four minutes later, here's your eggs. Then the waffles, although mine has chocolate chips on it bc the guy messed up. Flat, dry waffle. I could have done better at the hotel's DIY breakfast waffle iron. This is an institution? What crap.

I came here on black friday after a few hours of shopping with the family. The exterior is a bit run down but it didn't deter us from giving it a shot. The people were pretty nice, though there was only one person clearing tables, so it took a bit longer to get seated. Everything inside seem to have a layer of grease, though that wasn't surprising. Overall, the food was cheap, decent, and pretty quick. A good place to get a quick snack. The servers are pretty good, though one of our dishes was missing a sausage and our biscuits came out very late.

If you're a 95're... Waffle Houses are a great place to stop to dine, rest and pottyyyy if you really have2. But I love love love this 1. Would've given 5 Stars but my bestest everest waitress unfortunately had to switch her apron for an IHop apron so I'm bummed out. It's nice to be greeted and served up a good meal there. Typically we walk in and after 1 or 2 words they know if it's a sandwich and coffee day for me and Him or if it's a sit down and have a Big Breakfast morning with the works. Southern hospitality at its best... Everyone there is greattttt and are on top of their hosting game but I miss my bestieeee.... And... Wish her well.

I always try to make a stop at Waffle House when I am out of state. Its just another greasy diner, but the food is good and cheap. I normally hate waffles but these aren't your typical waffles. Very tasty. Plus they have hash browns and you can add cheese, onions, and country gravy along with a bunch of other toppings. and most are 24 hours

I've eaten here quite a few times. I never have high expectations for this or any other Waffle House. This one is always pretty crowded. For some reason, the floor is always sticky here too. LOL Their waffles are ok. I always got waffles, steak and eggs.I used to get CRAVINGS for their waffles years ago! LOL Since then, I've tried to make better dining selections, so it has actually been about 3 years since I've eaten here. I think this is the closest location to PA.....

I'm not sure what everyone else saw in this particular waffle house. I don't normally feel compelled to write a mediocre review unless it was the reviews upon which I based my decision to dine here. Eh, the buttermilk waffles are pretty good but I've had better. This ex Californian prefers Roscoe's! I also noticed that the hash browns were "world famous". Tried those too and mine were nicely crisped on the outside but cold and greasy on the inside. While the waitstaff were nice enough, the place was messy. Tabletops were often left uncleared and unwiped for some time after the customers had left. I suppose I can understand the if it was super busy but at 3pm, it wasn't.

Amazing service, great waffles and then some. Visited my brother in Maryland and wanted to have a quick breakfast so my brother took me to The Waffle House close to his home. I was so happy we did this because not only was the waffle so fresh and fluffy, they were GOOD! I had the Sirloin Steak with Hash Browns and boy they were good too... (or maybe I was just really hungry). The service was quick and thank God the line was not that bad that morning. They are open 24/7, rain or shine. Great place, great people and most importantly, great waffles! This Californian misses it so much!

Amazing what you can do with waffle irons, a flattop, and a big pot of chili. The servers and cooks here were friendly and efficient. And they make awesome hash browns!

It's a Waffle House. You get a decent amount of food for cheap. It's quick and greasy. Service was good. Not a bad place to stop for breakfast, unless you're trying to be healthy.
