Happy hour on weekends? Yes, please! We were lured in by the chalkboard sign out front advertising food and drink specials. This was a cozy place to take a quick break, and the service was good, but we were not impressed with the food. The calamari was mainly batter (although the wasabi sauce was interesting and pretty good), the wings were a little dry, and the crab dip didn't seem to have much crab in it. The one appetizer we really did like were the potatoes loaded with cheese and bacon, since those didn't pretend to be something they were not. Overall, decent but forgettable experience.

We went to the Tuesday night Trivia had a great time. We enjoyed both the fish and chicken tacos. We were the two oldest people in the bar but we still had a good time. The Trivia contest went on for a long time so we left at intermission.

Stopped in Easton for a late lunch on way back to DC from Chincoteague. Turns out lots of restaurants are closed on Sundays. Washington St Pub was open, reasonably priced and I recalled it being decent from a previous visit a number of years ago. I wasn't too hungry, so I ordered the crab veggie soup and a spinach salad. Both were fine, although the soup was a tad salty. We also shared the sweet potato fries, which were not at all seasoned but very freshly fried and quite good. My friend was pleased with his burger. Service was fine, although a bit slow. The bathroom was scary. Overall, not a place I'd run back to.

Had a great lunch here - we'd definitely return the next time we're on the Eastern Shore!

I have eaten here twice, to mixed results. The first time I had friend pickles and oysters. Both were awesome! We sat at the bar and had a great time. The next time we went for dinner. Less of a great experience. I had the jambalaya, and it wasn't great. My friend had the burger and loved it. Again the fried pickles were awesome. The beer selection is pretty good, the scotch selection, only OK. Would I go back? Yes. Great place for a dinner. I'll just stick to burgers or oysters, though. And maybe they'll add some scotches to their bar. Decor and service are both excellent.

The highlights are definitely the delicious fried pickles & friendly service. We had to order a second round of pickles since they were so good! The entrees were just OK. I had a shrimp salad sandwich that could have been better.

Fabulous food, great beer selection, SLOW service even on a Tuesday with few patrons.

Another visit here and it was a little disappointing. Beer selection is still very good. Lobster raviolis special was tough. Sausage, chicken, shrimp gumbo had no sausage. Bartender, when given feedback, didn't appear to be interested.

The atmosphere was the first thing I noticed. The nautical/patriotic theme is really nice! I ate there for lunch and both my meal and my boyfriend's were great! He said that his burger was the best he's ever had! I bet it's even better at night, because they have different events for each day of the week. I highly recommend this place!

I ate at the Washington Street Pub during a girls weekend trip to Easton this past weekend. Their food was very good - pretty much your typical pub food. They had many beers on tap, and a pint of Guinness was $5, which is fairly cheap for me. We started with a cup of Maryland Crab Soup, which was delicious and full of lump crab meat and seasoned very well. We also split an appetizer of crab dip which was loaded with crab meat and came with warm flat bread to eat it with. I ordered the crab cake sandwich, which was large and had very little filler meat. It came with a side of "pub chips," which are french fries cut like potato chips. My friend ordred a panini, which she also enjoyed. Our server was attentive and friendly. Was it the best crabcake I've ever had in my life? No, but the Washington Street Pub is a neat local place to enjoy good food and cheap drinks with friends. I'd definitely return if I ever find myself in Easton again.

Mr. Logical and I stopped by here for a quick lunch one day. The food was great, but the service was so slow. We ordered two appetizers and a sandwich to share and were in there for over an hour. Other patrons came and left while we were waiting. On the plus side, the food was pretty good and when Mr. Logical left his sunglasses, they found them and put them aside for us.

I love this place! The setting , the food, good service. No complaints! I take my family when they visit here and they love it!

I have been coming here for years and I have never had a bad meal! The food is consistently great. It is the type of food you would expect a pub to have. My go to's are the pub burger or the chipotle chicken panini. Both great! When with groups, we usually start with either the nachos or the buffalo wings also both good. They have a large sea food selection as well. I'm not a sea food eater so I can't speak to this section of the menu too much, but my family loves the fried oyster poe boy. The reason for holding back from 5 stares is the ambiance. It is nice, but somewhere you would really only want to be on a rainy or cold day. It is pretty dark and cold on the inside. With Docs downtown grill opening and many other places around with outdoor seating I am nervous that the pub will lose business. I wish they could figure out a way to add some outdoor space.

We came here in the middle of a pub crawl and the Waterfowl Festival. The place was packed! We were lucky to get a table and a very attentive waitress. We had a pitcher and some drinks but the chaos with all the people, including a drunk falling into the middle of our table. We decided to depart. We would like to return for a meal and at a time when there us less of a crowd.

Friendly service. $2 oysters were very small. I'd hate to see what the $1 oysters looked like.

Are here on a cold Friday night with four adults and two kids. The restaurant is kind of cramped when the bar is hopping - which it quickly became. There is a nice balcony that runs the length of the place that would be a more peaceful place to sit. Bathrooms are gorgeously clean. The kid's meals were ample - a small, handmade cheese pizza with two sides (carrots and orange wedges are choices, along with fries). My husband's prime rib was generously sized, and he said it was okay. I had a half-sized garden salad that was super fresh and yummy, and also generously sized. With beers, we had a nice family dinner for $40.

Love their selection on beer. From what I've ordered so far the food is good! I think it's Tuesdays they have half off burgers. :)

Crab soup is awesome. Wings are hit and miss. Draft beer selection is nice.

If you're in the area and want some good food, stop here. The food is excellent, good portions, and the service is very good. Prices are moderate. The chicken chesapeake is HUGE. Good luck finishing it if you get it. The crab soup is very good, as is the crab dip. It is a nice cozy atmosphere with a bar the center and tables along the side. I like the old wooden style booths and tables. I definitely look forward to stopping in next time I'm in the area.

The food and the microbrews are great. Totally new menu here. Had Asian wings, crab soup and Cubano Panini. Food was a little slow out of the kitchen but it was worth it

I was here back in 2011 before the new owners came in and everything was horrible, food, service, atmosphere...came back last week and I was extremely satisfied! They did an excellent job updating the restaurant, the food was spectacular(really), and service greatly improved. Really impressed with the turnaround. I highly recommend it!

Stopped in while on business for work. Easy to find and free parking. This place is really nice inside, beautiful. I grabbed a seat at the bar and ordered a beer and crab dip. Great beer selection and huge liquor selection. The crab dip was ok not the best, the bread didn't help. I also ordered the oyster sliders and ceasar salad. The oysters were great and sauce creamy with a kick. Overall the atmosphere was awesome and menu fun!

Talk about inconsistency..... Brief update after a dinner here. Complete breakdown in service as good was delivered only to not see the server again for 45 minutes! Some food never arrived and the dishes sat stacked on the table as we finished. We couldn't even get the check! After a visit to the bar area to ask for service another 15 minutes passed with no service. Bizarre. And rude!

We stopped in here as part of a food tour in Easton. The items we tried were delicious and the chef was incredibly friendly. His two kids were there helping which told us it really is a family restaurant through and through. I look forward to returning some day soon.

Friends love this place, so decided to check out the bar while we were wandering through Easton. The bar itself is long and large, with two small TVs and some wall seating opposite. We arrived mid-afternoon, and although the place was fairly slow for a Saturday (granted, the weather was beautiful that day), the service was terribly lacking. Yes, all we ordered were drafts, BUT it was fairly obvious that the bartender was much more interested in chatting it up with her - friends? relatives? locals? - at the other end of the bar. Would have been nice if she checked in, refilled waters (or offered them in the first place), or even tried to up sell us on another drink or two. I understand (and appreciate) a nice, friendly spot but not a good idea to alienate those new to your joint. Might be back but not in the very near future - there are other great places in Easton (and all over the Shore) where I'd rather spend my money (and my time).

I love the Pub! I grew up in Easton, MD, and this was always a family favorite. It's perfect for lots of occasions. I went here for more than one homecoming/prom dinner, after high school graduation, many family dinners, and plenty of other times. It's reasonably priced and in the center of historic downtown Easton. There is a wonderful bar with lots of beers on tap. Two bad things: I do remember the Pub closing fairly early all the time, but thats also just because it's in the town of Easton, everything closes early. The other thing is that more than once, we were there near closing and they started mopping the floors and it just was a horrible smell of bleach while we were still finishing our meals. However, neither of these ever stopped me from going to the Pub. Atmosphere: A long bar, low lighting, lots of booth seating. There is also an upstairs, where they tend to put larger parties. I was always upstairs when I went with my HUGE family, or a HUGE group before homecoming or prom. They were always very accommodating. I almost forgot! PUB CHIPS! They are not chips, but round french fries. Very thinly sliced potato rounds made into crispy french fries. DEEELISH!

This restaurant in Easton is closing for 4-6 weeks for renovations. This is a good thing as it is probably way overdue. I have eaten here before and have noticed the demise of the upkeep and the food. It is just so dark and so uninviting now. Not a cheery pub kind of atmosphere for patrons or staff. Our waitress told us the new owner would shine up the brass around the bar, the wooden floors would be redone, the bathrooms a complete over haul, add some upholstery on the hard benches, put some couches in the entrance area, and install a blue rug with a nautical theme that I believe she said is being custom made in Europe. They are going to open the raw bar and have Happy hour specials again. They are basically going to fix everything that doesn't work. Such as the frozen mix machine which has been broken for months. (Hence the beers on our table!) She said they are leaving some of their signature dishes and adding some new ones. That was good news as I think their menu could use a nice overhaul. We had a restaurant.com gift card that was given to us and it just so happen we wondered into the pub Sunday Sept 4th to use it. Sign on the entrance informed us it was their last day and then they would be under new ownership and closed for a while. Normally we would have walked away and found another place to go but we obviously needed to spend our $35. Since it was given to me in June 2011 they said they would accept it. We decided just to order an appetizer and some sandwiches and of course a few drinks. We started with the cream of crab soup which we both could not eat. It was not creamy and had a disgusting taste, color and consistency. I believe my spoon would have stood straight up in it or at least been glued in place if left in long enough. Our waitress brought us a substitute regular crab soup which had a tomato base. It was nothing more than a glorified vegetable soup. A little while later we heard other customers complain and send their cream of crab soup back. If I had a list of worst soups even tasted (as I did not eat it.)...this one would move to the top of the list. They were out of a lot of items on their menu which did not surprise us. So, our waitress recommended several sandwiches to us and the fish and chips after we just asked her what would she eat. I had the Chuck Mangold sandwich which was roast beef on sourdough. Named after the man who ordered it all the time. Also ordered was the fish and chips for which we would told were ordered all the time and are their specialty. Included were the pub chips which are fries that look like potato chips.. My sandwich was ok...dipping sauce way too salty but the fries were hot. I could eat most of the sandwich but the roast beef was nothing to write about and I doubt it was actually fresh sour dough bread. The only comment for the fish dish was the pickle was good. The meal was obviously not a good one and the worst we have had in a long time. The highlight was the great service from our waitress. She was the only one who showed up for the day it seemed and there was a steady crowd of customers. She made the most of a bad situation and kept her sense of humor and was very upbeat and friendly. They added a 18% tip automatically because of the gift card but we left more. She gave us a lot of attention and was one of the hardest working staff members still there. I am sure she will have a job with the new ownership. The other highlight of our visit was the dessert. It was a chocolate explosion. There were chips in this chocolate cake, butterfingers, reese cups, and whipped cream on the side for dipping each bite. Closing time. Yes, its the last day. Let's hope that this ending brings a bright new beginning. Easton needs some more good restaurants that are opened on Sunday. If we do go back I think we will wait for a few reviews from fellow Yelpers. .

The new menu is fantastic and the craft beer selection is top notch. Pleasent atmosphere and great service even when they are busy. There is a good reason the Pub has been an Easton staple for so long.

this place had a fun rustic, semi -pub feeling... the beer list is extenisve and the bar has everything under the sun..... the crab dip -- was delicious. and the french dip panini was good as well... simple wine list and coffee cocktail list Monday night trivia was to take place after I left... seemed fun... but I didn't stay to find out...

I will go back again. Went on a cold Wednesday and it was quiet and relaxed with a good atmosphere. Casual dining with a bar and excellent food. Menu includes rockfish, crab cakes, sandwiches, etc.... I ordered a bowl of MD crab soup, really good could have been a little more spicy. Entree- Crab cakes, half rack of ribs, potatoes, and veggies. Crab cake was quality MD crab and ribs had a great flavor.

I came From out of town to visit Easton md just to escape for me and my lady's 3 year anniversary and this place was recommended to us by an employee of the hotel we stayed in. The food here is amazing. We had re pulled pork sandwhich and it was mouthwateringly delicious. There pub chips are the best I've ever had and you Should definately eat here if your in the area. Not only was the food great, the pub itself has tons of beer on tap and plenty of draft bottle for you to enjoy. It has a local hole in the wall feel with friendly service. Check the place out! You will not be dissapointed.!

Hadn't been to this venue for a couple years and decided to try again as it was under new ownership. Was very disappointed with the service. It took us over 2 hours for drinks, apps and desserts for the kids. We contacted the mgmt by email and did receive a response, seeming to know that we had been in and had a bad experience, but no one ever addressed it at the restaurant. The email was along the lines of, yep we give bad service. Spoke with friend who went 2 weeks afterwards and they had the same experience, so evidently the ownership can handle the restaurant or don't care.

As a vacationer and now Easton resident, I've eaten here both before and after the new owners took over in the fall of 2011. There is a world of difference. Before, the food was so-so and the place was rather filthy. Under the new ownership, the pub sparkles, everything works, the atmosphere is great, and the food is great (particularly the burgers). Highly recommended!

Food was good. Service was decent, but don't get the sliders. Pure rip-off. My friend ordered them, received no toppings at all. It was bare mini buns with plain meat that was about $8? I ordered Thai Chili Wings and their Sweet Potato Fries. Wings were pretty good. The fries were okay, but if you want some seriously delicious Sweet Potato Fries, you gotta go to Little Havana in Baltimore or The Greene Turtle. It was a little difficult to get our server's attention, but then again there was a live band, people at the bar and lots of other things going on. When the server was there, she took care of us pretty well. I wouldn't mind going back.

The ribs were awful and the service was very poor. The Waitress was inept and a had a bad attitude. I did not get what I ordered, which resulted in being charged more than twice what was expected. Keep away.

I have always had a good experience here! Now, we're not talking fine dining here, but more like very economical, filling, and low key. Lots of beer on tap and a full bar, raw bar, and a decent sized menu that can suit many tastes. The boyfriend loves the Chesapeake Chicken Sandwich, and I usually do the Imperial Twin Sandwiches. Love the "chips" too, which are fries cut in circles. Give this place a chance, and I'm sure you'll love it too!
