Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Lovely place we stopped at on our way to Baltimore. Friendly service and seems like a locals place. Started with warm crusty bread and butter. Ordered bruschetta which was a miss but rest of meal was delicious. Bruschetta with too much raw garlic and overpowering olive oil. I had flounder with spinach which was fresh, light and yummy. Rest of my kids had pasta which was overall thumbs up( penne alla vodka, spaghetti with clams and spaghetti with meatballs). Tiramisu made in house but we got the lemon torte which was excellent. A wonderful find in a small town.

Went out here with a friend, and was a bit unsure how the outcome was going to be, just because the previous restaurants that have been in that location were usually just...eh. But I was wrong, everything was delicious. I had spaghetti with mozzarella which was delicious! The plating could've been a bit more interesting, seemed like they just plopped everything on there, and the prices weren't super high. Definitely a nice place to go for a fun night out.

Food quality varies. Two years ago it was very good; over the past year or longer the quality has been very disappointing. The owner is friendly and engages his customers but the food quality has not been up to par for quite some time as well as the slow service.

Restaurant decor is cute and quaint t once you get passed the construction outside. The service was on their A game the night we came. We were in and out in 38 min. ( Not sure if that is a good thing or not) A little fast for my liking. The food was alright, not the worst, not the best that I have had.

This is a beautifully decorated restaurant with a good sized menu. There are always a bunch of specials as well. We had the monk fish in a light tomato sauce and spaghetti with marina sauce. Both were excellent. The salads were very fresh. The drinks were well made and there are a number of wine options. The service was wonderful. The chef/owner came and checked on everyone. I think its a great place to eat.

The food and ambiance in this tiny, quaint little Italian restaurant (tucked away in a very unlikely location!) is absolutely to die fore... but the service definitely left a little bit to be desired. As a server in a fine dining establishment, I was appalled when the server repeated the wine list by saying "we have...um.... a red... and ... um...." and when I asked if they had Chianti, she asked if it was red or white! Still, the food was great and the atmosphere is simply perfect for a nice conversation. With someone a little more skilled in service, this place would be absolutely perfect!

I have been to Alfredo's twice now. The first time, the food and the service were excellent. The second time, however, the service was poor and the food was not as good as it was previously. Some "highlights" of this latest experience: -We made a reservation but had to wait for a booth (as requested on the phone when making the reservation) to be cleaned. People without a reservation came in after us and were seated first. -We had to wait about 10-15 minutes for a wine list, losing our place to get our food order in before everyone else seated at the same time did. -Our waitress said they were understaffed and commented on how it was good for her since she'd make more money (never apologizing for slower service). -Once our food came, the temperatures were varied among dishes--some were lukewarm or cold by the time they came out. -We had to wait a good 15-20 minutes after we were finished eating for someone to come back to get us the check. So not only did they lose several opportunities to make more money from our table (get us another bottle of wine, keep us in for dessert), but they lost customers to other good restaurants in the Easton area. I could have easily forgiven slower service had someone apologized for it, but the experience went downhill after each mistake unfortunately. Portofinio and Scossa in downtown Easton, in my experience, have had consistently better food, service, and ambience. I probably won't go back for awhile, but I hope they can make some changes as they do have potential. I wish everyone could have the same experience I had the first time with fewer people in the restaurant and a more personalized experience.

I have been a regular at Osteria Alfredo's for about 4 years and have never been disapointed. I will say that sometimes the service is a little slow but the food makes the wait worth while. The owner/chef is always in the kitchen and does a great job presenting a good variety of Italian dishes.

Osteria Alfredo is a fantastic restaurant, which is VERY hard to find in Easton. I came across to this town through work and boy is it hard to find a good restaurant. I tried this place through a business client. I ordered the lasagna and it was EXCELLENT. After 6 months, I tried Osteria Alfredo again and I was not disappointed (I actually went 3 times in a week for lunch at one point! But then, there are not that many pleasing restaurants in the area...) The bread here is pretty good too, but I'm not sure if they craft their own or get it already baked, but it's good nonetheless. The service is ALRIGHT - bearable. The prices are very reasonal and as mentioned, the food is good. I will definitely be back and I hope this review helps out other people who are looking to dine in around Easton.

Easton went for too long without a quality, reasonably priced Italian ristorante. Osteria Alfredo finally appeared and offers authentic - not hyphenated Italian-American - food at fair prices. A brother who lives in Manhattan raves about the food. Yes, the service can be uneven but I forget about it with the first bite!
