Very solid fried chicken. But the real gem here is the chicken sandwich. The chicken sandwich comes with a good sized piece of fried chicken breast that overhangs the sesame seed bun that it's in between, and comes with lettuce, and mayo. It also comes with one pickle chip (come on... just one?!). Anyways, you don't need anything else. It's simple and delicious and it's much better than chick fil a because they fry it fresh. I would have taken a picture of the sandwich but in my excitement to eat it while it was still hot, I totally forgot to.

So after I went to pick up my laundry across the street, i decided to stop into this place just so I could get my reviews in for this area. Well this place was so skippable. I would have preferred to go to Popeyes or Bojangles. I've never seen chicken wings this small. They were like size of quail or cornish hen wings. It was so weird but I must say that it was tasty. But the tiny wings scared me. I guess because DC tends to be the home of Steroid Wings. The bread was a dinner roll, the tatters and gravy bland. Eh yeah....this is what I get for being greedy. It was cheap as heck though.

I'm not a huge fan of fried chicken. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate a great piece of fried poultry, however, I don't crave it or need to eat it on the regular. After the Skins/Philly game, my hosts wanted to stop there to pick up some finger licken goodness... oh yeah, not exactly KFC, but seriously, the chicken was GOOD! This place is in MD, so it's unlikely I'd ever make it there again, but if you're in the area - try it.

When I want fried chicken reminiscent of the kind my mom used to cook for me, I always come to Golden Skillet. Their collard greens are fairly close to homecooked and definitely better than Glory greens in the can. I also get the potato salad which is decent but nothing to write home about, much like what they sell in grocery stores. Now to their version of mumbo sauce, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!! I usually don't like mumbo sauce from any of the carry-outs that I've tried but theirs is on point, in my opinion.

Went here twice in the last three weeks to satisfy my wings crave and was satisfied. I ordered 10 whole wings plain without sauce and was pleased. I had my own sauce at home. Service is fast and friendly. Many patrons use the drive thru. I prefer to go inside. The menu is large and varied for just chicken but this place is worth a try. They have chicken dishes that you would not expect.

the wings r very small but has a good taste.. but 4 the price they charge the side order could be alittle bit more.... my 4 year old niece would probally still be hungry after eating 5hem small side orders.

Just ok. There wasn't anything that was really bad about this place but there was nothing that made it stand out. I enjoyed the food but if I were in the area again I would try a different place.
