Love the cannonball pizza. The atmosphere in the restaurant is friendly and comfortable. Small dining room but plenty of seating. Have had Ledo's a few times, but I have never eaten in until today. Great service and yummy food. Kids meal options are great and worth the money!

Been coming here for over 20 years. Located in a tiny strip across the street from yet another small strip mall in what would be considered, "downtown Derwood". I'll bet that you didn't know that Ledo's occupied a spot that once was a "Highs"? I didn't think so...... There is a reason it has survived. They are consistent, close to home, and offer friendly neighborly service. Ledo's pizza hits the spot when you're NOT in the mood for a thick pan-style pizza. One word of advice if you order carryout: get there quickly, as these thin pizzas tend to dry out if kept waiting too long. Eat there if you can....

Friendly and fast. Love that square pie. So far all good pies. Used to eat at the original one, LOL! Close enough to the original.

Well managed, tasty unconventional pizza. Great for kids as well. A bit pricier than the local favorites yet well worth the surcharge. Enjoy!

Came here a few months ago for a quick lunch. The pizza was delicious, and so were their side salads (which are huge!). Luckily my friend and I decided to share or there would have been a lot of leftovers. Great prices too! I was totally psyched to see there is a Ledo Pizza near my home as well!

Great pizza, size is generous, price is a bit high but wort it. cheeseburger sub is lacking "burger". The burger has been getting smaller & smaller on the same size roll.

I'm from the NY/NJ/Philly area so my pizza and pizza shop type food (sandwiches, pasta, sides etc) is pretty high. If you are from that area, do not bother trying Ledo's. The pizza is pretty terrible. It has no body to it (flat and lifeless imo) and the cheese and sauce are both terribad. I've tried the pasta here (fettuccini) and the pasta tasted overcooked; the whole entree tasted like the quick frozen stuff you can get @ the grocery store. The rolls they use for sandwiches are not good, and the meats again taste like frozen stuff that they threw in the microwave. I tried this place because a few friends who have lived in gaithersburg/the village recommended it as really good, and surprising it got decent ratings here. The only reason it gives 2 stars is because I would give dominos/papa johns/other crappy national chains 1 star, and fortunately Ledo's is better than national chains (except for little caesars; it is the only pizza around here that is somewhat acceptable. That is a combination of the price & the fact that it is closer to "real" pizza than other places in the are, although in the northeast I would never eat it). I suppose they do a good job catering to the pizza consuming crowd down here and that is fine. If you guys like it and enjoy eating it that is all that matters.

Awesome manager! Saw that I wanted to watch something else on tv and changed it And damn an 18" pizza is 2 pizzas! Great deal Weds night kids eat free so a lot of kids were there. The service was good and prompt. I left my pizza I boxed to go inside and the server ran out and handed it to me! The service was definitely on point and the pizza come out quick. Lots of meat on my meatlovers so no complaints here. The parking lots a bit small though. I wouldn't know where to park if the lot was full.

Always great for lunch. Also, fantastic catering menu for business lunches. And that order is always on time and perfect. Would be great if they delivered catering orders and supplied larger paper plates, but for the value it is worth it to pick it up. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Great job!

I, like many of you, love me some good pizza. Ledo pizza is by far the best pizza around. I am not putting any of the other pizza joints down, because I eat at most of them but Ledo's is in a different league. You owe it to your self to find the Ledo Pizza near you and go and try to prove me wrong. I dare you. While you are there cowboy up and try my favorite combo on a pizza. Pineapple, Jalapeno, and precooked bacon. I know it sounds odd, but everyone I have turned on to this swears by it. It is the perfect mix of sweet/ salty/ spicy. Now go and eat.

I've dined in and taken carry out and I've enjoyed every time in this ledo pizza. The people who work here are friendly and the food is great. Way better than the one on rockville pike.

I know Ledos is a chain restaurant, but I dined in at this location and thought it was worth reviewing. We had the asiago bruschetta, spaghetti with meat balls, and fettuccini bolognese. The portions for the pasta were more than adequate. The asiago bruschetta was delicious, but I have to point out the bread was garlic bread and not a typical bruschetta. The spaghetti with meatballs had a good sauce to noodle ratio and the meatballs were a fair size. The fettuccini bolognese had a pleasant kick, and was not over sauced. The service was excellent. The waitress (Victoria) was very attentive and had a great attitude. She offered suggestions when asked and was just a nice person to deal with. Overall the meal was great and was matched by great service.

Brought my soccer team awards lunch in for post-game pizza. The pizza was wet, fell apart upon touch. A gooey mess & for many: last time we will ever walk into a Ledo's. It was a tie for worst pizza of all time.

Yeah, they cut corners. A pizza with no cheese. Wish I could post a picture. The waiter said that is how they come out because the cook puts just a very thin layer of cheese. Really? So thin, it was just crust and I have eaten Ledo's before. I know what it is supposed to look like. They also forgot the appetizer. The only reason for two stars is because they removed the appetizer. This is the worst Ledo's service, pizza we ever had.

Ledo pizza is so incredibly delicious. Best pizza in Maryland for sure. The pizza dough is flaky and thin, kinda like pie crust, the tomato sauce is sweet and tangy and the cheese is gooey and yummy. It's always piping hot and fresh whenever I order it.

I really like this quaint little Italian restaurant nestled right on Muncaster Mill. I like how their pizzas are square and freshly made. It's more on the thin crust side (I love the crunch), so it's more lighter than the "fast-food" pizza places. I've also tried one of their pasta dishes (Three Cheese Tortellini, i think) and it was pretty delicious (and cheap!) as well as filling. I really want to try more of their foods. I will most definitely return.

I actually live closer to the Montgomery Village branch of Ledo's--but I'll gladly drive the extra mile to go the Derwood Ledo's! The pizza is SO much better at this Ledo (I've had several undercooked pies at the Montgomery Village Ledo's), and the service is superior, too! I've had PERFECT PIZZA every time at the Muncaster Mill Ledo's!

Ledo's is definitely one of my favorite pizza places. Namely because of their buffalo pizza with Ledo pizza sauce, some buffalo sauce which tastes just like Frank's Red Hot, melted provolone cheese and roasted chicken. As a vegetarian I ask for no chicken and add blue cheese crumbles. They go lightly on the red hot and blue cheese so it's not overloaded with toppings, but the red hot and the blue cheese crumbles add major flavor. I normally don't pig out especially at lunch time, but it's difficult not to eat the entire buffalo pizza in one sitting. The crust is really thin so you don't waste all of your calories on crust, instead you actually get to have a flavorful pizza. This pizza is definitely worth trying.

My preferred pizza vendor when in the DC suburbs, and by far the best chain you'll find. While I can't speak for their pasta or other dishes, I really do love their pizza. Ledo's doesn't offer the typical pizza experience. Their pizzas are not "pies", but instead are rectangular in shape. The "slices" are really just 3x3 squares. The sauce is slightly sweet, while the crust is flaky. When it all comes together, it's just one thing: delicious. Having a crazy sweet tooth, my favorite combo is by far pineapple and onion. When coupled with the cheese, sauce, and crust, the flavors just go extremely well with one another. Though most people are initially a bit hesitant to try it (we always order Ledo's when guests are visiting--one pineapple-onion pie, and one plain cheese), none have been dissatisfied (and usually it's the cheese that ends up as leftovers).

I've been to at least five Ledo locations in the DC area and this is by far my favorite. Nice booths, quick service, affordable prices and quality food. A great place for a quick weeknight meal when neither of us has the energy to cook. Also like how it's a bit of an escape from Rockville.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
