An ice cream stand, deli, and gas station. Yep - one stop shopping! I can only speak for the deli and it was fantastic! I got a small Italian sub with lettuce, onion, sweet peppers, hot peppers, and mayo. We ate there at a few random tables in between the ice cream stand and the deli/gas station interior. The meats were sliced fairly thick and were of good quality. It was only $6! Also got a side of macaroni salad, which wasn't the greatest. If you are on the way to or from the beach, you should stop in for a yummy sammy!

This seems to be the highlight of this small town. They sell subs, breakfast, cakes, icecream, and convenience store roadside basics. The subs were above average. Service was very friendly.

It was nice that they made my food on the spot as ordered - I was willing to wait for it. Tasted great, good sized sandwich. Filled me up with a drink for under 7 dollars, what more can I ask? Nothing spectacular, but having seen some other places in that part of Maryland, you can do FAR worse and it'll be hard to do much better for lunch/sandwich. I'm reviewing only the deli part, I know they have a LOT more services there - if I lived in Denton, I imagine I'd be there at least once a week, and just might give it that fifth star. Just note that it's a Loooooong wait. You can walk over and get some ice cream, do your shopping, take your car for some gas and come back and your sandwich is still not ready.

By The Way, a truly good place to get some ice cream as a snack. The staff was very friendly and helpful as they took our ice cream orders. We visited at around 2:00 on the afternoon as the Caroline county schools were getting out. at

Great little spot. It's a combo gas station, deli, convenience store, ice cream parlor, all in one. We even saw quarts of fresh strawberries for sale. Well laid out, there is an eclectic assortment of seating. From 50's retro diner booths to cafe tables and chairs, they also have real furniture for the little ones. Service was quick and pleasant, the food was fresh and delicious. My chicken steak sandwich was STUFFED!

Strange place... Deli-gas station-ice cream shop-loto and fishing license sales- and beer. To someone from PA - it boggles the mind. I thought it was very cool though... even at 9pm on a Sunday people were sitting at the parlor licking away at their ice cream cones. Reasonable prices and a well staffed store. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

My car full of farm goers thought that getting off the bypass and driving through Denton right around sundown was an IQ-reducing idea when the only living animals in the town were a few permanent porch sitters and a stray cat in the middle of Main Street. I was just about ready to succumb to their cynical perspectives until we stopped to grab grub at Buckley's. This was Denton's saving grace as far as I'm concerned. My optimistic justification will tell you that the reason downtown Denton was so empty is because they're all at Buloock's. Realistic, no, but in the name of hyping up a declining "historic" town, just run with me here. This place has everything you need; deli/grill, convenience, gas, and of course ice cream. We went for just the deli and convenience, and was very impressed. Although the subs were still being whipped up there were easily 30 people grabbing evening ice cream cones (it was 8 by this point). Upon asked my order, I chose a plain and simple - turkey sub. What toppings? All the way, of course. Having said this without a clue of their offerings, I was just interested to see what they can do with "the works". 10 minutes later a colossal sandwich arrived that felt more like a dumbbell, and was loaded with LTO, oil and vinegar, pickles olives and peppers, salt and pepper, swiss cheese and an easy coat of mayo. Regretfully, I chose to stray from the self-induced food coma and only ate about 2/3, which kept me filled for the night. The remainder of my s passengers ordered hot subs, which kick-started an unshakable post-meal philly cheese craving, which is still resonating in the seats. Next time I'm on 404, I'm taking the bypass straight to Buckley's to grab my mid-trip bite.

For the area this is one of only two places I stop for a good sub. They make the bread fresh and do not skip on the meat. If you have a small belly go for the small as the portions are very large. Just be advised, if you go during heavy traffic hours esp lunch you may have a 10+ min. wait time.

A great place to stop for icecream. Generous servings, great price, and just off Route 404 if you are on your way to beach.

This is a very cool Gas Station / Deli / Ice Cream parlor. They have seats so you can eat your lunch and play Keno. We only eat the Orange Roughy Wrap, It's the best, All the workers are nice and friendly too. Amazing how much better the service is at this gas station then at IN JAPAN in easton, haha. Thanks Bullock's ! !

My family and I love Bullocks. We go here a few times a week! The breakfast sandwiches are killer, and they always have great lunch specials. We go here alot for ice cream as well. They have a wide selection of flavors and the hand dipped ice cream is fairly inexpensive.
