This place has been in Crofton forever and has remained (thank goodness). A very good place to grab a sandwich that is not overpriced and absolutely delicious and does not fall into the $5 footlong category and I can get cannoli and cheesecake too. The people that own this place and the people that helped me are very nice, we have used them for catering (they do that too) and their platters were very presentable and fed my mostly male dominated workplace which is always filled with hungry men and they were full and happy!.

I've gotten a classic Italian sub from this deli for lunch a couple times and have enjoyed it immensely. It's just much better than the stuff you get at subway, and at a very reasonable price. Great for lunch sandwiches.

Had an appointment at 8:30 a.m. today to discuss ordering a wedding cake. I waited 20 minutes at their shop and no one ever showed up. I'm beginning to think this place is out of business. They don't answer their phone and now their fax doesn't work. I can't understand why the guy in the shop made an appointment with me and didn't show up. YIKES!! and to think I was ready to put down a deposit for a cake!! Take your business elsewhere and give it to somebody who respects your time and would like your business. Thank goodness they're not the only bakery in the Annapolis-Crofton area!!

I wish I could give 0 stars. I ordered breakfast catering from here for a company meeting and it was the WORST. The driver arrived an hour late which I was understanding about because he was coming from MD to VA on a Monday morning. However, he should have planned ahead and left an hour or so in advance. Now the food review...it was appalling!!! All the sausages and bacon were burnt! They were charcoal black. The eggs and potatoes were also undercooked and the presentation was awful. The eggs looked disgusting. No one was able to eat any of the food and it was embarrassing on my part because I was the one that ordered from here not knowing it was going to turn out that way. Needless to say, I felt bad for my clients because I had to throw away all of the food. None of it was edible. I will NEVER order from this place.

I've passed by Vince's Tasty Creations (or Vince's Deli as the sign says) hundreds of times and never thought to go in. But yesterday, I was in the area and my stomach was hurting and I figured they would have some soup to help me out. Turns out that they didn't (sold out of it by 2:30 that day apparently), but the man behind the counter was nice enough to still make a little breakfast sandwich for me despite the fact that it was 4:30 in the afternoon. I figured that I still need to get something small in my stomach and that a little bit would be better than any big sub they had on the menu. The shop is pretty small and even on a fall day, it was incredibly hot. I sat at in a chair along the window and waited as the man cooked up my sandwich. Everything on the menu is very affordable. Breakfast sandwiches range from $1.50 to a whopping $2.25 (more if you get it on a croissant) and all the omlettes are $5 and under. If you come in for lunch or dinner, there are also has an assortment of fresh salads and specialty sandwiches available for low price as well. My breakfast sandwich was pretty good and it did help me feel a little better. I will have to come back when I am feeling completely 100% so I can take full advantage of the cheap menu.

I stopped by VInce's because I had a Living Social coupon. I was surprised that this isn't a bakery, it is a deli with a side business that makes cupcakes/cakes. I ordered 2 dozen cupcakes at $22/dozen. I was very disappointed with the quality. There was nothing fancy about the flavors, icing, or design. I have seen better looking (gourmet) cupcakes in grocery stores. Not only were the cupcakes unimpressive, my order was only half filled and I had to take whatever they had on the shelf (at full price). Bottom line, this deli tried to jump on the 'cupcake' bandwagon and failed miserably.

I used Vince's deli and ordered a sandwich platter. The sandwiches had no condiments whatsover. The staff was also rude on pickup. I will not use Vince's again and I would not recommend to friends or family.

Updated: I was contacted by shop after this review and offered a do-over. I look forward to that second chance and have upped a start for the contact. TBD.... Previously: I have been on the hunt for great Italian sub and though I live locally passed this Italian deli place many times, I never tried it. Finally Monday being a holiday i was in the area at lunchtime and was excited to try what just had to be the best Italian sub around right?! Nope :( Bread was good..meat was good...Portion of meat was small compared to surrounding area subs though. I asked for extra tomatoes and no hots other than that ordered exactly as it was on menu. SO disappointed!!!! 2 abnormal tomato slices is not extra and what was there was an end piece of an unripe pithy ( like that awful been frozen tomato with awful texture and taste) the lettuce described as crunchy was not all crunchy and in fact had pieces of brown limp lettuce right on top. Put together with barely a drizzle of the Italian dressing....made for a bland dry poorly put together and poorly textured sandwich. Ledo's is what i ordered today and they blew Vince's out of the water on the SAME sub!. Based on all the other positive reviews I may try again and more closely scrutinize my order before I hit the road and am stuck with as sad sub or may be NOT! Either way my search continues!!!!!

It has been about 6 or so years since I last went to Vince's Deli and back when I used to visit it on occasion it was for subs. This time I saw a coupon in Living Social for $10 for $20 towards cupcakes or cake and my friend's birthday was coming up and I was in-charge of buying the cake so I decided to get it a try. I was very pleasantly surprised. The sheet cake I ordered was ready before my pick up time and was exactly what I ordered. Everything was made from scratch and it was very apparent. I entertain children at birthday parties and I've eaten a lot of different cakes from a lot of different bakeries/stores and this was one of the better ones I've tasted. The price was excellent. Without the coupon it was just under $30, so virtually I paid $21.95 with tax for this very hefty, hearty cake. Everyone at the birthday dinner enjoyed the taste and the look! Furthermore, I am shocked at the review calling this place dirty. I mystery shopped for over 6 years and I've reviewed a lot of establishments and this was a VERY clean looking establishment and was actually very BRIGHT. It was dark and raining when I arrived, but the store was warm on the inside and there were no bad smells and I saw no signs of dirt. For the price, this place is an excellent choice. Yes, I have had better cakes, but they cost 3 to 4 times the amount of this one. This one is the price of a store bought cake, but the taste of a yummy homemade cake, but the icing decoration is true to that of a professional. I saw their sub list while I was in there and have now decided I would like to go back and try their egg salad wrap! Please do not let stupid bad reviews about this place stop you from giving it a try, especially the one claiming this place to be dirty, because it is the complete opposite. The service here was fine too, no problems with that either. Take it from a veteran mystery shopper (also why this is a long review) on this place, it is worth a try for sure! It is like a little gem in Crofton. I cannot attest to their pizza as I have not had it before, but the subs were good when I had them years ago and their bakery is very yummy. Thumbs up, Vince's! **Update** I have now tried their 'Eggcelent' wrap and it is outstanding! I was told over the phone they were out of egg salad, but when I arrived to see what else they had to offer, they had some! Yippie! Also, please make note (I learned this after going to get my wrap and speaking to the cake lady directly to let her know how much I loved her cake) that this Deli's bakery only has ONE cake maker and she works part time as she has another job too. The living social coupon has overwhelmed her with work and she is trying to get all the requests done as fast as possible, but she is a human and just one person, so give at least two days notice for cakes! I did and mine was ready early :-)

I just tried this place for the first time, as I am new to the area. You wouldn't expect much from this place if you went off sheer looks alone, but my god do they make a good sandwich. I had one of their many creative options, a Crofton Bomber. The corned beef was so tender it melted in my mouth, and it was topped with melted provolone, hot peppers, red onions, and mayo, all sitting between 2 pieces of fresh and delicious marble rye. I have never cared enough to post a review before, but this place is definitely worth checking out. I'm just going to have to start going here every day, at least until I try all of their delicious creations.

Looks like this place has gone to sh*t. Looks worse than the pictures show. Just go in and see for yourself before ordering anything, Ordered a cheesesteak and got burnt steak on stale, stale bread. I am not overly picky about food, but I ended up throwing out the whole thing - first time I ever did this.

I'm starting to like this place more and more with each visit. Everything I've had so far has been excellent fresh made food. And they've always been very friendly. I'm going to have to update this review in the future as I try more things. If the trend continues, I expect to eventually update this to a 5 star review.

Vince's is a-ok in my book and I want you to go there. They didn't blow me away with their roast beef sandwich, but I was starving so it hit the spot. It was a roast beef in a garlic bread loaf with cheese and onion. I liked it. It was big and filling for the price. I examined their menu pretty thoroughly while I sat in store. They have a large menu with plenty of options (a lot of sandwiches and sides, lots of create-your-own options) for an empty stomach (or an American stomach that is always looking for more). Delis are an interesting place. You either get how delis work or you don't. Most people don't. I'd say my criticisms are the way the space is presented. It could use a facelift. I didn't like being in there. A lot of natural light, but it felt dark inside. There was no mood or attitude. But like I said, delis are more concerned about getting food in your face. Give them your order and they'll deliver on it the best they can. But if this place got a facelift, and maybe made an extra effort to present themselves nicer, they'd be a solid 4. I'm looking forward to trying more of their food.
