Oh my god, ledo's pizza. Growing up near Gambrills everyone I knew thought this place was like the most amazing place on earth. It always seems way too crowded and the pizza is kinda overrated. It's not bad but it's never impressed me. What I really liked about this place were their subs! They're very good, and very cheesy, :) Service was a little slow but I definitely see this as more of a "take-out" kind of place, so that didn't bother me too much.

Located in a small strip mall off of a main roadway. Close to other restaurants and shopping venues in the area. Service was a little on the blah side. Customer service refresher anyone? Food was actually pretty good. Wings were good, had a kick. Pizza was ok. Chicken strip sub doesn't make me forget about food from back home however.....it brought back sentimental memories.

We usually order takeout from this pizza joint and have been for years. They have the pizza ready for you in a reasonable amount of time and the restaurant is large enough to accommodate a larger group. The pizza is rectangular in shape and cut into square pieces. The pizza is a bit thinner than a dominoes or a papa johns, but not thin crust either. The pizza sauce is perhaps a little sweeter than most sauces and more reminiscent of a marinara sauce. Although it can be a little greasy, I like the pepperoni. The topping selection is probably a bit more diverse here than most places (offering both precooked bacon and just bacon, for example). It's been said many times before, but I think it still holds true: pizza is like sex, when it's good it's really good...but when it's bad, it's still pretty good. You're going to walk away satisfied, but perhaps not impressed.

First impression: Filthy. Over 3 booths still not cleaned up when there were 5 servers and only 2 occupied tables. It wasn't busy. Waitresses were standing around playing on their cell phones or sitting at a table closest to the front door texting. Just unprofessional and dirty. The food was good, the menu was the same as every other Ledos I've been to. It's unfortunate that this one was so bad. Just moving to the area, I was looking foreword to getting my Ledo pizza fix. Where I used to live we had a Ledos that had been there forever. Awesome service, clean facilities. Tables were cleaned up right after you left and the staff there were friendly and attentive. This place is a dump. The waitresses didn't seem to care if you were there or not. There was food, straw wrappings and trash all over the floor. The waitress only checked on us once, and in the middle of ordering left us. They were more interested in sitting at their table, texting and joking. I had sit and stare at our waitress till she finally notice and realized we wanted our check. When she saw us she didn't get up, she just turned around sitting in her chair cell phone in hand and said "oh you want your bill? Sorry about that." and finally got up and went to print it out. I won't be going here again. I can get the same exact pizza at a cleaner, and friendlier Ledos.

Ledo's Pizza is always tempting and if I was super active and able to burn calories really well, I would get it every other day! Ledo's is very different from normal pizza as it has a pastry crust and your choice of several different types of sauces, but I like the classic "Ledo" sauce. Then they have a selection of different toppings. The bacon is awesome and they use a ton of it so if you are a bacon lover, try the bacon but make sure to ask for the pre-cooked bacon otherwise it will be regular, kinda soggy bacon, we made that mistake once. Sometimes we'll do a loaded veggie pizza and it's also outstanding. One big problem with Ledo's pizza is that it's so hard to stop eating it!!! It;s so good that we rarely have leftovers for very long. Everyone eats what they can and as soon as it settles, they go back for seconds. Highly recommend!

First time getting food from here(pick up) and everything was so good. The pizza ( cannonball ) was so good the meatballs tasted fresh and homemade. The crust was really thin. We got the 8 inch and split it. Pizza was cut in to tiny squares but one person could devour an 8 inch alone. I also got the six piece sweet baby rays bbq wings and they were really good I was really happy with my order and the quality of food

Service is unbearably slow. That's all that needs to be said. Still waiting for my small personal pizza 20 minutes later - they aren't crowded. Maybe better if you order ahead - like four hours ahead.

3.5 stars I first tried Ledo's when I first moved to MD years ago. It was the deluxe version and I loved it. For some reason I hadn't had it in a few years but decided to add it back into my pizza rotation because I haven't found any brick oven pizza nearby that I really like. A few months ago, we went in on a Friday night and it was a madhouse! The environment was not conducive to winding down after a long work week. I didn't order the deluxe and it just wasn't the same as I remembered. We also ordered garlic bread for the table and it was not good, just plain bread (barely toasted) with too-sweet sauce. A couple of weeks ago I went back and ordered a deluxe for carry out and that was the Ledo's I remembered. For some reason, I only like the deluxe. Maybe all the toppings drown out the sauce, but it works for me. Weird, I know. As long as I stick to carry out and the deluxe, Ledo's will remain in my rotation.

Started our Friday night headed to grottos pizza. We headed in and took 5 minutes before the hostess even arrived to the stand, then were told it would be a 30 minute wait. Off to Ledos we went, a family favorite. Ledos was equally as busy as grottos but we were seated at soon as we walked in. As we sat down we were greeted by a peppy waitress. She was very knowledgeable of the menu, answering many questions for us and even making suggestions. We ordered wings which were actually jumbo wings. We choose the yella BBQ, which was a nice sweet and spicy mixture. The pizza came out in a timely manner following the wings. I ordered a craft pizza, the spring chicken and my husband did a create your own. It was delicious! The waitress was always there when needed and made the visit enjoyable. Everything was reasonably priced, we left spending around $40. Ledo Pizza really doesn't cut corners! We'll be back again!

Great pizza.......But sometimes a little overwhelming during the week. People rushing in and out. Parking lot is a tad small. As long as you don't mine dealing with a few obstacles it's a good find.

My family and I have been coming to Eddies Place for years now. You get a decent meal for a decent price so we make sure to stop in every once in awhile. The other evening we decided to dine in... It was the worst experience ever. When we walked in the door we got angry glares from the waitresses (something tells me that they didn't want us there). We sat down and our waitress came over and took our orders and the food was out in no time.. Then our waitress (I think her name was tyler) disappeared for about 25minutes! She was all around rude to us and probably spoke all of 5 words the whole time we were there. This was probably one of the worst customer service experiences I've had at this ledos.. I'll reconsider the next time I want my pizza fix..

Had streak SUB and Italian cold cut plus small pizza, all were very good and comparable to local sub shops. Very good place.

We usually go to Ledo's in Milletsville and love it. Went tonight at this location for my son's school fundraiser. We ariived at about 8;20. There was a big sign the dinning room was closed. Ordered take out. I am careful about my diet but I love their vegan pizza. It took the girl at the register at least 5 minutes to enter my 2 pizza order into the register. I repeated the order 3 or 4 times. Including saying NO Jalapeños 3 times. Pizza was ready, they usually open it to have you check it. She didn't, I did and it had jalapeños. I was so fed up at this point I grumbled that I would just pick them off. No apology, no offer to fix it. Staff was more concerned about getting out of there than the customers. I got home and realized it was missing the yummy avacado that is on the pizza. Next time I will just give my PTA $20 than spend my money here.

I'm already a big fan of Ledo's pizza. I love their thick cut pepperonis and sauce. Tonight, I ordered carry out and it did not disappoint. The staff was extremely friendly and had my order hot and ready when I arrived. I will definitely be returning to this location again!

I came here for my chicken parm sub fix today (accch.... I've replaced tacos with Italian!). On the plus side, I did get my food a little faster at this location than the one in Georgetown and the girl behind the counter was nice and gave my daugher some free chocolate milk. However, compared to the chicken parm sandwich I had at the location in Georgetown, this one was a little lacking in the flavor. Like a reviewer below, I too was having trouble checking in. I was literally sitting in the place and it was telling me I was too far a way. I drove a half mile down the street and I was able to check in. Weird...

I normally order a large pepperoni pizza for carry-out from this location and it is always delicious! This location is always pretty busy, which is definitely a good thing for them. Friday nights seem to be the busiest so be prepared to order ahead for carry out or you'll be waiting for a while & the waiting area is super small. Staff is generally pretty nice and I would definitely recommend this location!

Haven't been to this location in a looong time. So, we ordered wings for appetizers, half honey bbq and the other half was chilli lime. I thought it was alright, even the rest of our order was borderline OK- shrimp alfredo pasta (shrimp was deep fried and they used red sauce), large supreme deluxe pizza and cheesesteak sandwich with a side salad. What was so disappointing was when my daughter's order came. Her mac & cheese looked just like the Kraft mac & cheese. Seriously? If I knew I should have just fed her the same thing at home and not have paid $5 for a kid's meal. If Ledo's should serve some store bought stuff at least they could have opted for Annie's mac&cheese. Just because it's a kid's meal they think adults would not know any better.

I love ledos so I decided to give it a try despite the bad reviews. Well, my stomach has been killing me ever since (I'll spare any more). I didn't have anything else that could have caused it. I ordered a medium pepperoni pizza. Try it out, but I won't be eating there again

Our swim team came to Ledo's after a meet and our waitress was superb. We had over 30 persons and she was able to get all of our orders in and the food and drinks came out quickly. Pizza was great as usual.

This Ledo's location in particular is awesome! The owner does an exceptional job with food, staff and service! The food is awesome and love the atmosphere. I highly recommend this Ledo's. Even if you only sort of like Ledo's, you will love the Ledo's here!

3.5 stars for a pretty decent restaurant/ take out place. Its not Eddie's Place, its Ledo's Pizza at Eddie's Place. Anyway, I love the options & usually if you live in the area; you can get great coupons like dinner for 4 for a reasonable amt of $. I personally like the pizza compared to Domino's or Papa John's but my absolutely favorite is their ravioli.

Ledo's Pizza has a good pie that's for sure. However, after eating it a couple times, there is no way that I can have it anymore. 1. It tears up the digestive system. 2. The service is just as bad as #1. We decided to have a work lunch there and we had called ahead with our order so they could start making it and it would be ready by the time we got there. Well for starters, make sure you clarify if you need to order with the restaurant side because apparently they have two different systems for orders to go and eat-in. Seriously? Who made that business decision? Next after getting that all cleared up, our waitress just lazily walked over took our drink orders and we proceeded to wait quite a bit before they arrived. We just watched her sit down at a table and proceed to be chummy with another employee while we were clearly in need of some assistance with drinks and other things like silverware. Most of the people I work with are big guys so they like to drink and down some food. We could've used some extra napkins. There is really no way I'm coming back unless I'm dragged for someone's birthday or something like that.

I've had many Ledo Pizza Experiences, and this place is fair at best. Both Pizza and Service on Carry Out orders are pretty good, but dining in is terrible. Looks like the owners just hire high school kids, and no one teaches them about customer service. The Fulton and College Park Ledo Pizza locations are much better at both making the famous Ledo's Pizza, and serving customers. I avoid dining in at Eddie's Place for the most part.

My husband and I are big Ledo's at Eddies Place fans... we're regulars on Thursday nights. The pizza has a unique flavor and flaky crust. We always get the pizza, sometimes salad, sometimes appetizers, always pizza. I have attended a couple of parties in the back room and had opportunity to taste other menu items... all tasty! Ledo's at Eddies Place has a family atmosphere, with an understated Italian decor, the staff is courteous and helpful.

I have to agree with Craig R. the service at Eddie's place is the pits. I don't believe I have ever had a good waiter/waitress in the 10 years I have been going there. The only reason I still go is because the Pizza is delicious.

Eddie's place owes their business to Ledo pizza I feel. I have taken a liking to Ledo pizza in the past decade. Flaky buttery crust, sweet tomato sauce and that rectangular shape, or is it square? Anyway, its not a round pie. I come here for pizza on Friday nights, Friday nights are pizza night in American suburbs. This place gets packed on Friday nights to the carry out line to the line waiting for the restaurant. They are clever thinkers when it comes to carry out, while you are waiting to pick up your pizza there is a refrigerator case full of liters of soda to go. I mainly come for the pizza, although last time the cooks were a little sloppy in giving me large chunks of mushrooms on my pie instead of thinly sliced. And I wish they would include more dark green lettuce in the house salad, instead of so much iceberg and the middle white stalks of romaine. I think the pastas are a little bland. I haven't had the subs, but my DH likes them. I find the spaghetti flavorless too, I like my homemade version better. My DH got the Blue cheese carbonara last time, who thought this dish up? Certainly no cardiologist. It was fettuccini with smoked ham, in a creamy blue cheese alfredo topped with bacon & parm cheese. I tasted it and found it offensive all way round. Yuk. Anyway, I think the Ledos pizza makes up the bulk of the business here and they do Ledos pizza right, so thats why the 3 starts.

The pizza here is really excellent! I wouldn't eat any other. The service is usually pretty good, but we've had some servers who seem pretty rushed. It's a neighborhood, family place with reasonable prices. There is a back room for parties and, sometimes, children in the front part of the restaurant can make this place very noisy. Still, the pizza is the best!

  • Elsa M.

You know what? I am surprised I liked this pizza as much as I did. I mean, it comes in a big sheet and is cut in squares, like you are having a party for a 5-year old. Still, it was pretty good and pretty fast. I got a large pepperoni and mushroom pizza for under $20 and was able to feed a staff of five. Talk about more bang for your buck. It's a tad oily, but nothing that's too bad, and the sauce is really good. My only complaint is that they don't deliver, but considering the cheap price for quality food, it's a small complaint indeed. Tip: there's a dining area, as well as the pick-up counter, so if you are looking for a nice little pizza spot for the family, stop on in. There are also vegetarian and gluten-free options, which is nice for those with dietary restrictions.

Bunch of teenagers running the place... customer service terrible. Got home and they got the order wrong. Got the bacon deluxe no bacon called them to complain and they offered refund for missing topping 1.75. Pizza was soggy. Buffalo wings looked like they were cooked in old oil. Bad overall experience.

We arrived at 6:30 and sat down near 6:50! That is with 4 tables open. All because every server is a teen female that doesn't want to touch tables or clean it. They didn't HAVE A BUS BOY! Pizza was ok but not great either. *** This review was for early August 2014 and sat in my draft.

You are greeted by up-beat and personable young ladies at the counter when you arrive (if you get carry out as I usually do), and get to take home some of the best Italian fare around. From their iconic pizza, to the fried ravioli, I have yet to find a disappointing dish. Even the plain old meat sauce spaghetti is a bit different with a sweetish spicy/peppery goodness that just warms the heart. I Ordered a side salad with one meal, and the clam-shell, when opened, had a grand mixture of healthy greens, garlic flavored croutons, onion slices, grape tomatoes, and it was all very fresh.

So, I went into Ledo cheering them on. I don't eat chain pizza. I love hand-tossed crusts, fresh toppings and chatting with entrepreneurs and their employees. Family pizza parlors. With Ledo, I like the spirit of the establishment, evidenced by its promotion of the house pizza sauce and by the "What competition?" slogan on the backs of the servers' t-shirts. My server, Rianna, was incredibly attentive and pleasant. She answered my questions capably and accurately. The letdown came with the food. I can't place anything particularly special or good about the sauce. It was functional, at best. I couldn't figure out why I'd want to buy a jar to take home to use in my own cooking. Ultimately, it was my own cooking that helped me deduce the real tragedy with my square pizza: the time it'd spent in a freezer. The toppings moved around too easily on the crust, and the taste was of a just-microwaved grocery store pizza. A freshly made pizza crust neither tastes nor jettisons toppings that way. The owner should keep their business model's winning ingredients but lose the freezer burn.

This is also listed as "Eddie's Place" in Yelp. And, it's the best pizza around. It's pricey as far as pizza goes, but you can't beat it. Low-pressure, super casual, nice servers and lots of smiles. There are always families there and groups with kids because it's just a cool place to bring them. There is no bar, but they serve beer, so it's fam friendly. Love it. Oh, and I almost forgot, the Stromboli is too good... but you better not have heart trouble because it's greasy - just the way I like it!

  • Sa'ad S.

FOOD: Pizza is my FAVORITE food, and Ledo Pizza did not disappoint. If you're looking for something better than Pizza Hut or Papa John's then this is the right place. The Wings were okay but not extravagant SERVICE: The waitresses were extremely nice, but it took FOREVER for the food to be done. (Maybe I was just hungry). Apart from extended waiting on the food it was an overall good experience. If you want Pizza this is the right place (as signaled in the title). If you come here for a variety of food do not come here, the service is below parr and the wings are mediocre.
