Parking is somewhat awkward here. Customer service is great, they always very friendly and helpful in choosing flavors. This location has a large variety of flavors & toppings. The booth always looks clean. My biggest grievance is: the orange cream custard is a specialty flavor and is rarely offered.

Let me just start off by saying I will never eat at this location ever again. So, about 2 hours ago my boyfriend and I stopped by this Rita's making this our 4th time at this particular location. Before today our experiences were pretty swell. When I arrived, there was an African American family of 3 (dad, preteen daughter, & teen son) to my observation giving the blonde Caucasian cashier a difficult time. So I politely sat on the bench to wait my turn as my boyfriend was curbside waiting in the car. When it was my turn, I approached the window nicely and she took my order with a agitated face she was trying to conceal. I ordered 2 regular sized mango italian ices with vanilla custard on the bottom and top. I remember her fixing them off to the side...hmph & smh. I got my order, paid, left a TIP in the jar that I regret, and got in the car. Fast forward to finding boogers in my cup as well as my boyfriends cup!!!!! Now via my Yelp icon you can see that I am African American... I feel as though this cashiers disgusting service to me was a reflection of her frustration with the previous African American customers. Who knows what kind of bodily "treats" they received?!! Her actions are grounds for immediate termination. If you don't like where you work than by all means work elsewhere. I pray that God's vengeance repays her swiftly and without mercy. It goes to show just because an eatery looks nice & clean, doesn't mean the employees are. I WILL NEVER AND I MEAN ((((NEVER)))) EAT AT THAT DEHUMANIZING LOCATION EVER AGAIN.

The parking here is the worst. Its in the craziest spot. The service is good though. Typically I get the ice but wanted to try something different. So I tested out their chocolate custard. Ugh it tasted horrible. It just tasted like fake milk and fake chocolate two of my not so favorite things. So unfortunately I can not sing their praises. However service was good. Usually this placed is packed so I caught them on the one time of it being slow. However, typically be prepared to wait.

My favorite dessert spot for sure. This location goes above and beyond. If you email them Ritasharpers@gmail.com they take requests and they even do catering in the offseason. My sons bday is in December and they made a batch of cotton candy for his party.

I really really don't like the custard, it's got this artificial almost powdered milk flavor. Combine a vanilla custard with some rainbow sprinkles and I imagine it's similar to eating a dolls plastic custard. Some of the Italian ice flavors are good: lemon, cherry, etc. But I think you'd be better off walking next door to the Safeway and buying a carton of Luigi's Italian Ice and then some real ice cream. The price is also absolutely ridiculous for a really sub par product, I don't get the obsession with Rita's anywhere.

I just went to this Rita's today for the first time. The owner was the one working the window, and he was very friendly, handed out coupons, and even gave me free sprinkles on my gelati! The only drawback is that this is a small store, so they don't stock a large variety of flavors at any given time. But because I have many "favorites," I can always find something that I like!

When they opened some seasons back the portions were fair, however we have noticed over time that the portions have gotten smaller. On a few occasions we've noted those that order a small or medium are getting the same size cone. In our opinions the owners are squeezing the customers at this location. At other locations the portions are larger. At 7.50 for two medium cones it's enough without being cheated too. We are done with the Harpers Farm location.
