Always a good place to grab a bite with a group: small or large. Now that we have little children, we've found that this place really works well for when we want to go out to eat with them. It's one of the few places I've been to that has a sling for holding an infant car seat. They also seat you with plenty of room between tables (because babies take up a whole lot of space). Servers are attentive and quick with the drinks. If you won't have kids with you and it's just 2 or 3 of you, you can grab food and drinks at the bar (if you're over 21). Benefit of sitting here is little to no wait time since it's first come first serve. Also, the bartender is right there so your drinks are always refilled quickly. Thumbs up!

We decided to give Red Robin a try for the first time after a harrowing morning at the MVA. We were starving and the online menu looked tasty. When we walked in, they sat us pretty quickly. It took quite a few minutes for the server to make it over to us. Long enough that we had looked over the menu and decided what we wanted. Hubs ordered the Clucks and Shrimp Basket, and I ordered a bowl of French Onion Soup as an appetizer and the Southern Charm burger. I failed to realize that the burger came with BBQ sauce on it (my fault for not reading carefully). Our food came out very quickly- but it wasn't right. Hubby's basket didn't include the shrimp he'd ordered, my French onion soup never came, and the burger didn't have a reasonable amount of BBQ sauce on it- it was SWIMMING in sauce. Even worse, the BBQ was super sweet, not tangy or spicy like I prefer. Since there was so much BBQ, scraping it off was not an option. What a way to ruin what otherwise might have been a tasty burger. Since I never got my soup, and the burger was not edible, I pretty much only had fries. Hubby left still hungry since he didn't get his shrimp. The waitress did talk the manager into taking off my burger when I sent it way uneaten and didn't want a box. Still, all in all, not a good impression or a good first experience with Red Robin. We won't be back.

6/12/15 @ 9:15.... 10 minute wait for seating. Not bad. We were seated and provided menus and waited 10 mins for our server to arrive. The gentleman who helped us wasn't really our server his name was Chris- he took our drink order and our reg order cause we had been waiting so long. We were a party of 5, ordered 5 entrees and 5 reg drinks. Might I add were were there celebrating my 17 year old son and his friends birthday who just turned 18. In the end food arrive in a decent time and was okay. The boys like it (I mean they are teenagers they like everything). Our regular server never showed up . We may come back but probably not.

I despise this place. My 12 yr old nephew LOVES this place though and since he moved here with us 3 weeks ago we have already been here 4 times! The first visit was decent. Good service, the food is nothing special. The second time we asked if we could change one of the TVs to a children's station (maybe Nickelodeon) as sports is all that is on. The server informed us that the remote is broken and they can't change it without climbing up to do it manually. I also learned this visit that the "burger" joint serves there burgers 2 "temperatures" No pink and some pink... Um ok. I ordered one anyways. It was horrible! So gross and almost $11 for a crappy burger! Go down the road to Victorias if you want to pay the same about for a MUCH higher quality burger. The 3rd visit was the Ravens pre-season game which ironically was NOT one of the games playing this night but it was just me and my nephew so no biggie. I almost felt rushed to order which I am realizing seems to be a trend. Also, there is no egg for the salad. Ok no biggie. Visit 4. This time we are celebrating my nephews birthday. They take us to a booth which still has 2 booster seats in it when we arrive and trash all under the table. It's gross and even my 12 yr old nephew doesn't want to set on that side of the table! My husband tries to ask again if we can change the channel. ( This visit the Ravens pre-season game is playing on REPLAY... Yes the one from a week earlier that wasn't playing then) we are told that the manager won't allow it to be changed to anything other than sports. What?! Um memo: this ISNT a sports bar... It's PACKED with children at literally every single table. Also surprise surprise no egg for the salad AGAIN tonight. I am starting to see a trend. This place is clearly under horrible management. I have not once seen the manager in the 4x I have visited. Not once has one walked around and asked how everything is going. I have worked many years in the restaurant industry and it's pretty clear why this place is struggling. The day my nephew grows out of liking this place is the day I never return again!

I used to love this place. I frequented it weekly with my boyfriend, and had been coming here since I was young with my family. the food is still tasty and the service friendly-- but since the renovation the atmosphere has changed a LOT. it feels more like a mill house than a restaurant, the tables are all elbow width apart and there's no privacy. I think they tried to squeeze as many people as possible in the space. that aside , my experience tonight convinced me we must find a new hang out. there wAs food all over the entry way floor no worker bothered to pick up, except one who picked up a few pieces with his bare hands before shoving it in his pocket and proceeding to take someone's order(gross). the children seated behind us kept elbowing my boyfriend in the head before one finally had a huge temper tantrum and threw his milkshake , thus splattering me in the face and ruining my white shirt and my boyfriends khakis. the parents didn't so much as apologize or bat an eyelash. no server cleaned up any of the milkshake that was all over the area during the rest of our patronage. the whole place was filthy and over crowded. sadly, won't return again.

I went for a trip here with my sons for their birthdays. we had a good time here. I was surprised at how busy it was on a Tuesday night, which is a good sign for any restaurant. I ordered the A1 peppercorn burger, my wife got the turkey burger, and my kids got regular hamburgers. The A1 and turkey burgers were cooked very well. The meat was juicy and burgers well put together. I wish for more peppercorns on my burger though. One of my sons got a well cooked burger, but the other's was quite dry and difficult to eat. Fries were good. My sons got free sundae's, which was a nice treat. Service was friendly, but a little slow in my opinion (possibly because it was so busy). Most of the servers seemed to hate their jobs and force a smile, which was a little disheartening. In any case, not a bad place at all. A good place to come for a burger.

It's been a while folks. Last time I was in Red Robin was 2008 in Hamilton NJ. Did I review it? To make it non-burger, I ordered the vegan and crab cake sandwiches. Did not disappoint. If you like big flat French fries, RR has it - but not me. If you are into burger and a regular in RR, I suggest join their club.

Service was good considering there was a party of 13 next to our party of 4. I ordered the shroom burger made with a turkey patti, Sweet potato fries and a freckled lemonade. The fries were cold and the first batch of lemonade tasted like water. My kids enjoyed their pizza and fries. My husband had the A1 peppercorn burger. He said it was okay but dry.

It was the usual Red Robin, but service was pretty slow the day I went, but the service added an extra star to my grading. I tried something new, the Blue Moon milkshake. Man! It hit the spot. The concept sounded crazy, but the taste was a smooth milkshake with the hint of blue moon. I wasn't complaining. I also tried the Royal Red Robin burger with the egg on top. There is always something about putting an egg on top of a burger that gets me every time. Our waitress was down to earth and we shared some good laughs, which is an awesome aspect of customer service. As fast as the kitchen was able to make the meal (which was slow), she brought them out. So no fault of hers. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the Screaming Red Zombie for her drink, which was more on the sweeter side with a hint of alcohol. For the burger, she had the Peppercrack Bacon Burger (I think that was the name). Before I knew it, the burger disappeared from her plate! lol.. They did have some new dipping sauces for the fries as well, which went nice on the burger. We tried the roasted green chile sauce. I would definitely try it again.

Supposedly they offer unlimited fries. But they bring them out so infrequent and they're so undercooked, who wants them?? Pass and go anywhere else. It's not hard to find a good burger.

I went there with my friend and her two daughters one Sunday around 2:30pm. We were greeted and shown to our table pretty promptly even though the restaurant was packed!! I couldn't figure out why the restaurant was so busy at that time but thankfully, it seemed like we caught the tail-end of the lunch rush hour. So there we were chit chatting and waiting...and waiting....and waiting. 10minutes later, our waitress, Jade breezed by, introduced herself and told us she would be back in a few. We were ready with our orders when she came back but everything just took forever!! Understandably, the restaurant was pretty busy but here's a tip: if you are bringing drinks for the table next to mine, you might as well bring ours and save yourself a trip. Maybe it's just poor table/time management? My order was wrong which didn't surprise me because the waitress didn't write anything down when we did place the order. Fries were soggy and the drinks were way too sweet. Perhaps I expected too much but I don't see myself making a return trip.

Came here for lunch on 2/12/15 had lunch with the wife. Service was excellent, my waitress was on point and was never to far away. I had the Turkey Burger which was good, but my steak fries were soggy and oily. For them to feature bottomless fries, they have to do better. The wife had a Burger and enjoyed hers along with her potatoes fries. No dessert this time, maybe next time. Hope they do better with there fries. But overall I had a great time.

This review is based on a visit from about 3-4 weeks ago. In an attempt to "mix it up" on dining options in Columbia, we decided to stop in. We came in around 7pm, in the hope that it wouldn't be too crowded, once we were seated, it was already apparent that this experience was gonna be less than sub-par. Our server came to the table, to take our drink order. I opted for the speckled lemonade, and my partner ordered a sweet tea. I received the lemonade, but the sweet tea was delayed, first we were told that they were out and had to make some more. I guess getting a glass of water in the meantime was too much to ask. We also ordered the chips with guacamole and salsa. I would pass on this item. We both ordered burger from their Red Robin's Finest menu; I ordered the "Southern Charm burger, my partner opted for the "Smoke and Pepper" burger. Mine was way too sweet, and for some reason, the request for a Medium-Rare cook on the burger was more rare than what I was expecting. Upside was that there was a lot of bacon. My partners burger was seasoned poorly. The one thing that was a bit irritating, the one major thing that Red Robin is known for is their "Bottomless Fries." Now we've rarely taken advantage of this, tonight there was that urge. My partner asked our server for some more. She came back with iur check and that was the last we saw if her. Overall, quite disappointing. I'd rather drive to Live! And hit up Bobby's Burger Palace, or hell, Five Guys serves up a better burger than Red Robin. MYbe they're understaffed, who knows? I can pretty much say that this was our last visit to a Red Robin.

Red robin is a solid burger chain restaurant. This location doesn't disappoint. Burgers, shakes and fries all day long. The service is good and food is good.

I've always been a fan of this chain, but yesterday, this place knocked it out of the park. It had been a very long time since my wife and I had been to a Red Robin and we were looking forward to it. She ordered the Prime Chophouse burger and an Oreo Milkshake, and I ordered a Blue Ribbon burger. We placed the order to go. During the call, we asked for extra fries since normally in house, they're bottomless. The rep taking the order graciously agreed to give us extra fries, no attitude, pure awesome. We pick up the order and we noticed that the milkshake didn't fill up 12oz... which was very disappointing. We didn't know if it was because we were taking it to go, but that wouldn't make any sense as portion sizes should all be consistent whether you dine-in or take-out. Dining in, a milkshake will come served with a full 16oz and some extra in the tin mixer. This part sucked. We would of complained, but we were too lazy due to the rain after we got back into the car. Because we didn't mention anything, this portion of the review has no merit towards the rating. The shake did taste awesome with lots of Oreos nicely mixed in with creamy vanilla ice cream. Perfect consistency; was able to drink it through the straw yet it wasn't too thin. For my Blue Ribbon burger, I requested it cooked medium and it was delivered so. It was nicely tangy and smokey from the chipotle aioli which accented very well with the saltiness upfront that the blue cheese brought on. The crispy onion straws added great texture and sweetness to balance out the saltiness from the blue cheese, so the entire thing was just well-rounded and delicious. This was the first time I've had this burger and I'd definitely recommend it.

Super kid friendly from the varied kids food and drinks menu to the crayons & chalk board - it's all ammo to ensure your little ones are agreeable for an hour or so while everyone eats. Now the adult stuff is less impressive. Service: ok, nothing impressive or memorable Cost: your burgers will run from $9 (super basic) to $16 (snazzy cuts of meat & toppings) Drinks: impressive varied list with loads of options. Lots of beers on tap & competitive prices Quality of food: really lacking. Burgers were all overlooked & everything was generally insanely salty I think this place works for drinks & apps. If you want a good burger, I recommend Cheeburger. Seating & ambiance is nicer @ Red Robin though.

The service was real good. our server was very nice and helped us choose the best burgers that were very good as well! She told us how happy she was to work there and how good her manager us by setting the example of busing tables and helping out when needed as well. This is the best Red Robin To eat I recommend it to you.

I only came here to get fucked up. I sat at the bar, made new friends, and drank a crap load of bloody Mary's. Not the best Bloodies but they accomplished the mission. The patrons were friendly and bar tenders were personable and attentive. Mission Accomplished!

If you absolutely must eat here, well, pull up to the door. Have someone from your party jump out, run inside, and put your name on the list. THEN go park. This place offers a ton of commercial kitchen food. Burgers with unlimited fries. Veggie burgers. Vegan patties. Turkey burgers. Chicken sandwiches. Toppings? Bacon, cheese, guac, onion strings. Wraps. Ribs. Chicken tenders. Mac & cheese. Fried mushrooms and fried zucchini. Gigantic onion rings. You name it. Oh hey, they even have fried salmon and fish and chips. Healthy options? Hm. You just try to navigate them. Salads (never mind that they are topped with all kinds of cheeses, and bacons, and chicken, and such). Soups. Microwaved brocoli. Yeah, the menu says "steamed" but that broccoli was microwaved. Clearly it had never seen the inside of a steamer. Yeah, you can pull the wool over some of the peoples eyes some of the time. But you can never ever pull a fast one on KG about steamed vegetables. Beers with liquor in 'em? They have 'em. Wine? Probably. Cokes and other sodas. They have em. I don't know. I just don't think this place was worth the caloric or financial expenditure. If I ever knew I was going back, I would have to purposely spend one hour on the treadmill at 4.5 mph and 5.5 incline prior to eating one morsel of Red Robin food. This is one of my favorite restaurants to go to for my family! It's great for kids and it's an awesome atmosphere. My only one complaint was about one of the servers... She was running around busy and I get that it gets hectic, but I don't want to watch my server dip napkins in a glass of water and wipe down her chest and neck because she was hot. She comes back to the table without washing her hands, water dripping off the back of her hair and it's just disgusting!!!!! If you're going to go cool off, don't do it where I can see you and make sure you don't look like you just showered!

What a horrible experience... The food took forever to arrive my son had a hair in his French fries the food was not all that great the service was good but very slow..... The manager brought my son a new meal but didn't even offer any kind of discount or incentive and we waited a long time it was ridiculous.! Never again!! we have frequented this location the remodeling also does not impress me at all the plants were dead in the window.

It was the night before Mother's Day, so it was super busy. Or maybe it's like that every night since there aren't that many restaurants around. We waited 25 minutes and then were seated. Our server was nice and pretty quick (especially considering how busy it was!). My Shroom Burger was awesome. I had a side salad instead of the fries. I liked how they brought out an individual oil/vinegar set for me to use. It let me decide how much of each dressing I wanted. Overall, for the price, it was a great meal.

YUM! We had dinner there yesterday with our three children ages 6, 3 and 3. The service was excellent, the hostesses were very engaging with my children and not each other. The place has been renovated since we last visited and it's now clean, bright and well-organized. The front waiting area even has a chalkboard to entertain the kids while they wait. Our wait was very reasonable 15 minutes for a busy Friday night. The food was delicious and the server handled our requests to bring out the kids food as soon as possible. We were checked on frequently. Received our bill timely, were able to pay very quickly and didn't have to sit around waiting on the server. This is a key to success when dining out with children. I was so appreciative. When we were leaving, they were all out of balloons in the balloon stand. We had asked our kids to wait until after the meal to get a balloon so they weren't playing with them at the table. My children were disappointed but as soon as the hostess overheard, they immediately jumped into action and got three blown up just for our children. Thank you, Red Robin of Columbia, for such a pleasant experience!

Friendly service, but epic gourmet burger fail! Not to mention the dirty plate and utensils.... Ordered a grilled chicken burger on wheat bread... Bread was very bland... There was supposed to be guacamole in it, but I only tasted a little bit of spread. French fries were pretty bad too unless you added their seasoning and/or ordered a sauce to go with it... Had a bite of my friend's smoke wood bacon burger and the meat was so dry and tasteless and sesame seed bun was cold, bland and flaky.... I recommend going to Five Guys instead!

Spent years coming out to this location and after the rebranding the service has suffered, immensely. Servers are bogged down with tables, unable to attend to all tables equally. When I asked for a knife to cut my burger and was told "All our knives are being washed." I knew things were bad. Everything was on request; crayons for the activity pack for the little one we got at the door (which previously included crayons), straws (for the drinks which previously included straws), napkins (for the meals which, previously included napkins) , a pen to sign the check (I guess I could've signed in crayon). Seriously Red Robin, get it together, I understand the need to cut costs and streamline operations but you're throwing out the baby with the bath water. I'm sad to see one of my favorite places take such a nosedive, be reasonable in granting eaters what they need and want. Is love to hear back from you.

Usually great, BUT guys, when you take somewhat complicated orders, it's quite alright (and even expected) that you write it down. Please get the order right, even if you feel like you're gangsta enough to get it right without writing it down...because you're not :)

I normally don't do 5 stars, but my taste buds were so satisfied, my service was good, and the wait was no time, so I must give what is due. Visited for a last minute dinner as we waited for our turn to race at Autobahn like 2 miles down the road. Was in need of grease as we have been drinking, so how could you go wrong with burgers? Upon arriving at 9pm, a table to 3 would have been a 10 minute wait. Not bad, although we were starving and we were on a time schedule in order to make it back for our race. Sat down right away in the bar area. I had the BBQ cheeseburger and man. When I say it was so good, I mean I wanted to eat the entire thing although to couldn't eat another bite. Did I also mention ENDLESS FRIES?! Didnt need them because the burger is so damn big, but it's always nice to have the option. So happy I found a quick burger sit down restaurant for my very few grease episodes. Yummmm!!

Four of us ate here while on vacation and the quality of food and service was something that we have come to depend on with each Red Robin. I tried the Cod sandwich, and though it was good I think that I will stick with a burger next time.

We originally wanted to go to longhorn steakhouse but it was a 45 min wait so we turned around and went next door to red robins. Best decision that night. They had more people waiting and was still seated in 10 mins. The waitress was awesome, very nice and attentive. Had our drinks within mins, our apps not too long after. It was a bit of a wait for our food but she still checked on us, made sure we were good and had a smile the whole time. I would go back just to be seated in her section. Thank you Alissa

Do disappointed in the service we received from this location! We have patronized this restaurant for years and tonight we had the rudest waiter named "Kevin" who clearly was not able to handle multiple tables! For example, It took over 30 min for our appetizers to come out and when I inquired he informed me that "he was NOT the cook!" The manager on duty was also very flippant and uncaring about the poor service we received! If you care about good service choose another location!

I love Red Robin, I love the burgers, the endless supplies of fries that they give...nommers. The issue that I had was with service. I met thee father for dinner, and I sat and sat and sat before I was even acknowledged or offered a beverage. That blows. After that, we had a plethora, seriously, of servers. None of which kept up with the others and what we requested, or needed. The bad thing was we were right by the bar, and there were always several servers around, they just did not attend to us...it was if were were at the forgotten table. The food was good, as it always is....but... I can't stand when servers ignore you for most of your meal and suddenly become attentive when it is time to get the money for the check.... Love love love Red Robin, but I will never want to return here to be ignored.

Went to RR for lunch because of #Project Runway connection; it being my favorite quasi-reality show. Hubster had higher priced burger and I had Tavern Burger. I rated this a 4 because compared to the other "restaurants" in this price point, Red Robin is a stand out. The food was fresh, tasty, hot, the burgers were tasty & juicy and the fries were crisp, lovely potatoey, hot, fluffy inside, everything you want in a fry. I didn't get to try my hubby's burger because he scarfed it up, but it appeared to be juicier than mine so I'm opting for a higher priced burger next time. Had a Flying Dog IPA and it was spot on and came with an ultra chilled glass. The buns are really tasty and the tomato had flavor. I ordered a "cup" of soup instead of fries and the soup (Chicken Tortilla) although very flavorful lacked any chicken, which didn't really bother me because I like cheese better and it was full of cheese. Hubby had onion soup and he loved it. The cup is very small but actually quite filling. I ordered a dessert to go the chocolate mousse/layered pie, which was delicious even though I forgot to put into freezer and it melted in the fridge, but the chocolate was intense the mousse was creamy and silky with crunch from the cookie crust. When you consider what you can usually get in this price point ($7 for burger and fries), this is a VERY GOOD alternative to fast food and it you trade out the fries for salad, a healthier option.

You know, it's a Red Robin, and this one is pretty much like the others I've been to. Lots of burgers, fries, high-calorie drinks. Servers are alright, and I like that they have gluten free buns available. This location is super crowded though, so your best bet is either early or late.

I really hate to drop this restaurant so low so quickly, but yesterday I had one of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had. We can start with the fact that our waitress, Gabby, seemed to be disinterested at best and really aloof. While she did get our orders to the kitchen correctly , she couldn't remember what she was bringing out. I almost sent my burger back as the wrong thing because she told me the wrong name for what she brought. It turns out it was correct but she just flippantly said, "Oh, they look exactly the same, I just told you the wrong one." If you've read my posts before, this is the first time I've called a server out by name. As to the food, the pretzel bites tasted over done, but were edible. Moving on to the burger, the A1 Peppercorn Burger was basically tasteless. I mean, I could taste the beef, but that's about all. It seems that they put almost no sauce on it as I could taste neither A1 nor peppercorn. Finally, the Nestle Tollhouse Cookie Sundae featured a cookie burnt on the bottom. Worst yet, as our lunch wore down, I started having the worst stomach cramps I've had in years. I spent the rest of the day on my back in bed, except when I was... well you get the idea. I am never going back to this Red Robin, and I may never go the chain anymore.

I've never seen a restaurant with an identity crisis as much as this one. When it first opened, it was purely a kids place with a ridiculous mascot walking around. Now they try to cater to adults and promote 'gourmet' fare. I enjoy their burgers and fries and ever changing menu. It's rarely a disappointing experience, but nothing to write home about. My kids always enjoy it. This location is often crowded and puts me in a bad mood to wait for nothing all that special.

This place is pretty good and I like the fact that their food isn't greasy. My burger was really dry though :( Overall, really great food though for a chain.

Used to be a faithful customer especially to treat our kids to some great burgers. Since their renovations, things have changed dramatically. Wait times both seating and food have become unbearable. And finally after waiting 45 min, burgers and fries come out room temp to cold. I hope the management makes some changes. We used to go several times per month. Now we are looking for another family friendly burger joint in HOWARD cty.

For a tasty burger and fries, I will definitely take my family to this place. Service may not be great all the time, but food is always great. I have not tried other dishes but when it comes to burgers, it hasn't disappointed me once yet. For this price, I think the food is excellent!!!

You know, this place doesn't suck as much as you would think. I actually had a pleasant experience here at Red Robin, and while I'm not really rushing back (I try to limit my monster-burger intake) I've got to give props where due. The service was good: friendly, efficient, attentive. Offers of refills on drinks came timely and often - this is a pet peeve of mine in many places. My burger was prepared well, and cooked to order. Fries were crisp, drinks were cold, condiments were supplied as appropriate and as requested. For a big-ass chain, RR did well in comparison to many, many others. I don't hate it, and that's high praise for most corporate restaurants. Plus - surprise, surprise - for a burger and fries place, RR is amazingly veggie friendly.

This is probably my only 5 star review of a chain restaurant. Overall I've never had a bad experience at Red Robin (in any location) but I'm reviewing this one since I come here the most often. I love burgers. I love substitutions. I love variety. And this place does ALL of it. Every time I go, I'm left with "OMG I want this one... but I had it last time... but this one is so good... what can I do..." and then I get the chicken bruschetta sandwich. I LOVEEEEEE their focaccia bread! And that special sauce on that particular sandwich. Endless fries. Enough said. This is also my bf's favorite chain restaurant b/c he considers it the most consistent. For the most part, you know exactly what you're gonna get cause it's basically how you cook a burger, put the right condiments/sides, and how you make your fries. Oh, and his major drug of choice is their strawberry lemonade (i think it's actually called freckled lemonade or something) but it has real strawberries in syrup. Service isn't exactly 5-star restaurant quality but that's probably cause their burgers are $10.

are you kidding me? what happened to this place? it used to be for my family's special occasions...but never again. bottomless fries, maybe 15 per person and lukewarm. my "gourmet" burger I swear was a frozen patty, mushrooms were out of can, but they got swiss cheese right. rest of the family the same, 3 "mc'donalds" burgers, one chicken patty-more breading than chicken. So we at least tried to salvage with dessert..big mistake, huge chocolate FROZEN SOLID pie thing, hidden under whipped cream, red velvet was at least a day old, chocolate brownie thing just meh. Service was okay, but why bother with this terrible food? So sorry i did this to my family, and for $90.00.

Place was packed but we still got seated in less than 15 min. Burgers were great! Strangely enough we had to ask for napkins and silverware after we got our food. Onion rings were great but filling.

I took my family to this Restaurant today, because my daughter likes their cheese sticks. Our waitress came promptly to our table and took our drink and appetizer orders. After the drinks came, our waitress took our meal order and left us. 35 minutes later, a different waitress delivered our food. I complained about not getting our appetizers, and the manager said she would comp the cheese sticks. Meanwhile, tables all around were getting visited by our waitress constantly. They got prompt, courteous service. The common denominator? My family is white, and our waitress and all the tables around us were black families. I am not a racist, and I don't levy this accusation lightly. All the tables around us got superior service, and we got ignored. Meanwhile, midway through my meal, I found a hair in my food. I was very disappointed, and sad that although my daughter likes the place, I will never go back.

My fav burger place in the country, if you are in florida, or maryland quality is always outstanding, beef is cooked and seasoned to perfection. I always ask for my burger in the protein style ( meaning wrapped in lettuce). I have also tried the chicken version and is very good as well. It can be too crowded with kids, but it makes the place more fun to be at i guess.

I've been to a couple of red Robins and by far this was my favorite one. My server Karina was unbelievably fast. I'm one of those annoying customer that ask for fries eberytime I see her. I've asked at least 4 tomes before burger came out and it's come out within 3 to 5 mins. Always smiled and was willing to serve. Food and sauce recommendations were on point as well. Definitely coming back.

Great food, the Royal burger is the best. Ask for the campfire sauce for your fries. Typically great friendly service.

I ate here on a Sunday. Seemed pretty busy but my waitress Kelly was great. She talked to my daughter, said she had a toddler also so she understood the mess we left. So patient with us even thoughshe was visibly busy. Food was great, burning love burger delicious. Did notice some people just standing around where others were so busy, but I guess whatever works for them. We c cone here all the time, nearly everything is good besides the hummus. We will be back soon.

How can a person who loves good quality burgers NOT like Red Robin?!?!?! I've been so many times that I can't pin point one specific burger that I like. It's probably safe to say that I like them all.

If you are like me, then you just might like a "Good Burger" every once in awhile (and no, I don't mean that movie with Kenan and Kel) I just can' t settle for fast food restaurants. After I get done eating at one I feel all "Supersize Me"... ok enuff with the movie references lets get to the meat of it all :P So let's start by stating the obvious: Red Robin. Yummmm! I, for one, enjoy the enviroment. I appreciate a nice sit-down restaurant. Life is too fast already without the need for fast food. Why not slow things down and relax while enjoying a meal? And what better way than with an endless supply of steak fries! These aren't your thin, greasy, over salted fast food greasepit fries... no these are your thick, hearty, crispy "gourmet" fries. Couple that with one of Red Robin's beefy Gourmet Burger and you have yourself a winning combo! What's that? A triple threat? Add a milkshake to complete the trifecta of fine burger dining ;) Every time I come here, I usually order the same thing. Red Robin's Signature Gourmet "Banzai Burger". There's something about a grilled slice of pineapple with teriyaki bbq sauce over cheddar cheese that takes me back to my days in Waikiki (cue ukulele strumming and grass skirts a swinging). It's sweet, tangy, and delicious. But if beef and pineapple isn't your cup o' tea, then there are plenty of other menu items to sate your hunger. So stop on by and eat a basket (or two) of fries and devour a big ol' gourmet burger then wash it all down with a chocolate milkshake, I can almost hear you say "Yummm" now :)

We really enjoyed our dinner here. Despite being a Friday night, service was quick and friendly, with our server visiting our table throughout the meal to get soda and French fry refills. Their menu is great, and we are happy that vegetarians can substitute a garden burger on any burger. I had the BBQ burger (with onion straws), and it's now one of my favorite burgers. The thick-cut fries were hot and good. Don't forget to see the page in the menu that tells you that you can substitute for different rolls. Also, you don't have to get bottomless fries. There are several other bottomless sides that you can substitute. The value is good for a fine and filling meal.

When we arrived, there were probably 30 people inside the restaurant waiting for tables. Amazingly, it took less than 15 min for us to be seated, and that made me happy. The waitress was courteous and helpful, taking time to explain some of the items on the drink menu and a few other things. I ordered the large cheeseburger and a cup of chili. My friend ordered the chili burger. We both had fries, which were okay. The chili was salty. The burgers were pretty good. Better than Wendy's, about as good as Burger King, but not as good as Hardees/Carl's Jr. I would eat here again, but would not wait in a long line to do it.

For those of you that missed it; December 6th was Jim day. Anyone whose name is Jim or James gets a FREE burger. How cool is that? For the record, Free is Good. We in general love Red Robin, because....YUM! The wife and son are with me; and we are seated very quickly. The place, if you have never been, is a tiny bit over the top but it is fun. It is clean and a bit noisy. So our waitress, who was 100% hustle, showed up right away. She got drink orders, and asked about some Red Royalty card they have. I told her nope, I don't have one. She said well let me get you one and you get a free appetizer. I quickly fill out the info required she us our appetizer in good order. We got a mix of mozzarella sticks and Jalapeno coins. YUM. The coins had a tiny bit of real heat which was nice. In fact, too much for my son and wife, which was really nice. more for me. Hey it was Jim day. For those keeping track that is 1 free burger and 1 free appetizer. Yum. We decided that we would try the gingerbread shake spiked with Jim Beam. Don't try that, the shake had the consistency of ice milk not ice cream. The gingerbread was crumbled cookies in it. This made for a very not nice texture that ruined it. Flavor was lacking and if it had Jim Beam it was not an entire shot. So my FREE burger was the new Jim Beam Bacon Swiss burger. I give the burger 3 stars because of one flaw, but to me it is a major one. First let me tell you what was good with it. It came out cooked medium- check. It was juicy - check. I tasted really awesome - check. The swiss cheese was a very nice addition - check. The sauteed onions were perfect - check. The bacon was so thin I could see through it (yes really) and had no flavor other then random salt and artificial smoke - WTF???? My wife got the french onion soup and whiskey river wrap. The soup was surprisingly good; actually very good. The wrap was nice and tasty as well. The son had the whiskey river chicken sandwich - YUM!!! The bottomless fries were worth getting seconds of. Our waitress rocked!!

Very nice spot for little kids party. Waitresses were very nice and friendly. Food was hot. Salads were huge. Wait time was excellent considering the number of my party. Our table was checked on and cleaned continuously. I would recommend this place.

This place is great, and a great place to take the kids! The decoration is upbeat and fresh with colors, lights, textures, a great visual feast! I have two young kids who pick Red Robin for THE birthday dinner everytime. They always pick Mac and Cheese which I have noticed they have changed and actually made better over time. Their elbow Mac and Cheese is way creamier and cheesier than I recall and the best part is, they offer "free refills x1" of this stuff! It's a little known secret, just ask your server. About the bottomless fries, yes, they are good as gold! Here's a tip; we get multple refills of these every time we come here, so we try to remember to first ask our server to send over a basket or two before we even order so as to keep the kids busy and our tummies satisfied, call it a free appetizer if you will! You can't go wrong with their shakes and any of their juicy burgers, just plain good. I like their AVO-COBBO salad but they never seem to put any avocados in there. I LOVE avocados, and Red Robin skimps on these when it comes to this salad, so I think they shouldn't call it the AVO-COBBO salad if it's missing the avocado, right? I also ask them to skip the iceberg and make it with all Romaine, the healthier and greener of the two and is better for you too. If you like Thousand Island dressing, this place has the best, and they make it fresh in house! Once I asked for the recipe, their manager actually came to my table to give it to me, only problem is, the wet ingredient was not readily retail available, so I just got two solo cup fulls to go home, on the house! The management and care to customer service is top notch, they seem always adequately staffed. Hey, if I didn't have my day job, I'd even work here! Hooray for Red Robin!!

I've been here twice, and the food was fine. The first time, my server disappeared after serving our food for a good while even though we needed something. The second time, we were waiting and waiting to even give drink orders. I thought maybe they forgot about our table. Then our server comes after taking orders from a table that arrived after us. Our glasses were emptied and there were no offers to refill them. Didn't ask if we wanted more fries or possibly dessert, just handed over the check. We won't be returning here.

I like the burgers but they always conveniently forget to swipe my rewards card. The margaritas are strong and delicious. Quite family oriented so sit in bar area if you don't want to be stuck next to the energetic kiddies.

Say what you will about chain restaurants, I like Red Robin and they have been offering new menu choices as of late. I used to go for the Banzai burger because I feel pineapple is the ultimate crossover food. However, I have been trying out some of their newer items and was pleased to discover that they now offer sweet potato fries. This is always a selling point for me. The place is busy and loud but it is in the middle of a busy Columbia shopping center so I would not expect anything less. My daughter loves is for the balloons and the Freckled lemonade. I love it for the happiness is brings her.

  • Brook H.

Ok, first I would like to talk about the general chain of Red Robin restaurants. They're not kidding when they say "Yummm!". I love going to this place because there's always a new burger to try. Plus, the appetizers are tasty and the drinks really hit the spot. Also, never-ending fries really tops it all off for me. :) Now, as for Columbia's Red Robin this place is usually pretty decent. Occasionally the service can get a bit slow and sometimes the servers are a bit daft, but for the most part our visits have been positive. Everyone has been friendly, they've made sure our food is right (or corrected if wrong), and there is little complaint. Just remember that if you visit during the dinner rush (especially on the weekends) expect to take a bit more time.

I give Red Robin a 5/5 stars-- however, this location was ... interesting. We were on our way to a party in Bali'more, and decided to stop off to eat dinner at this RR. Upon arrival, I noted that we were in the middle of no where-- surrounded by a Toys R Us and green pastures. However, when we pulled up, this place was jumpin'!! The wait for 2 ppl was 30 minutes, and the intercom kept blurting out parties like "Anderson party of 16, Jones party of 8, Johnson party of 10". Being a young couple, you definitely feel out of place being amongst hoards of polo-shirted families (party of 100). Service was average, and of course I enjoyed my chocolate shake and turkey burger (aioli was extra tangy this visit :)

I have only eaten at Red Robin Columbia once, and that was enough. My burger was RAW. That's right, raw. We ordered carryout, and a coworker picked it up. We ordered all burgers medium, and everyone else's was true to that temp. Mine, however, was browned at the very edges and raw on the inside. I would absolutely have gotten sick eating it. Now, I am left hungry and with no time to go pick up another round of food. Seriously unhappy camper here.

I'd agree with Philip with this being a low frills and easy meal. Bar area is small and always vacant. The bartender really makes or breaks your visit and they have some nice friendly bartenders and then they job some up tight and off standish that really make you want to eat fast and leave. LIke any ohter Red Robin, this one is great for kids and families.

Beautiful place, in a Disneyish upscale fast foodish way. Took forever to get served, think there was a glitch in the table assigning system. Once I ordered food took a while to come too. Drinks are too expensive, almost$ 5 dollars for a Corona. Give me a $1.99 draft or give me an upscale dining experience (or give me death - not!). Would come back for happy hour for cheap drinks and appetizers. Don't come here without expecting noise and lots of kids. The multiple bunches of balloons just inside the door will be your first clue that this place is prime Saturday afternoon" take the kids out for an early dinner" territory. The place is loud but with a good buzz. 10 bucks is too expensive for a burger and fries in a chain place IMHO. I got the special burger that's been advertised on TV. Don't know what was on it but it was $6.99 and it was great! Very flavorful and not dry like Five Guys. Portion was too big, though and definitely did not need to make use of unlimited refills on fries. I would actually prefer thin fries to steak fries, but that's all they have. Funny thing was the waitress saw me writing this review on my phone and, the red sea parted, angels with strong hands materialized to give me back rubs, Christian Loubouton himself appeared to slip a complimentary pair of his red bottoms on my feet. Yeah it was the full on VIP treatment. Rock on, Yelp! Usually I try to do my Yelping incognito, cuz that's just how I roll, but in honor of the Oscars I say bring on the red carpet, Red Robin! (Review still stays at a 3, though.)

Worst experience ever. Went here with a neighbor and her son. Her fish and chips were so greasy she couldn't enjoy her meal. Plus she found fried paper attached to the fish. There was no blu cheese on my burger and with my side of onion rings I only revieved 4. The fries were cold and when we requested more they were cold also. They have a bunch of rude kids working here on Friday nights. But our server was attentive as she could be with them triple seating her at one point. When there was obvious other people avaliable. I also never recieved my refill of my drink through my entire meal. Will not be returning! Maybe during the day it's better

The burgers never look in real life, the way those commercials really make you want one at 3am. I had the simple double stack with Mac-&Cheese. The burger was ok - kinda grey? I mean she didn't even ask me how I wanted it cooked, which leads me to believe they all get cooked the same no matter what - the Mac & Cheese was crap. There was congealed cheese on top, and watery noodles at the bottom. Gross. The waitress kept letting us go without beverage for a long period of time, and forgot key components in our order. Like condiments, and sides. She wasn't super attentive to what we were asking her for. But other than her forgetfulness, she was very pleasant. At least they serve alcohol, and lots of it, cause that's what saved it in my opinion.

Service here is pretty consistent. Pleasant, efficient workers and decent food. Great choice of burgers and wraps.I don't care much for the loud, busy, family type restaurants, but this one is tolerable. It helps that they have a bar. Probably best for people with children, or people who like them!

This place needs a "Restaurant Rescue!" I stand by my check In comments and have to advise you all of the complete horror show IRT the sanitation issues I witnessed... There was a bus boy or expediter (I couldn't tell because of the many things he had his hands on) anyway, he picked up one of their rubber safety mats and brushed a servers hair with it.. While she had food!! Then after three of them had a good laugh over it he took the mat into the back and w/o washing up he began handling the CLEAN plates to prep for the next round of burgers to be brought out. If this wasn't the kicker. I then witnessed a different server handling glasses (about 5) with fingers deep into the glass to Cary them in her one hand. To which she then filled them up and departed. I had to say something at this point but was brushed aside by our server. The manager was "too busy" to help or correct these issues. We left as fast as we could and will not be returning any time soon... Customer BEWARE!!!!

We were enjoying a pleasant drive on Mother's Day when we felt like stopping for some simple food at Red Robin. After determining our party did not include children we were sat at a booth in the bar area. Our friendly waiter chatted with us for a bit before taking our order and bringing us a hummus plate. The hummus was actually a little off-putting to look at as it comes dribbled with olive oil on top, but it was delicious with no skimping on the garlic. We were tempted to get a small order of onion rings ( a tall comes stacked over a foot high), but my mom ordered some with her wings and she greatly enjoyed both. My wife ordered a bunless Simple Burger and I opted for the fish and chips. The bottomless french fries are very good (but in this day and age, is bottomless a responsible option? At least they substitute vegetables with no issue.) I found the fish to be pretty bland, but the coating was crispy enough. There are televisions in every corner tuned to different sports games, so this is probably a great place to go to enjoy a few drinks and a game.

Wow, what a disappointment. Granted it was the weekend but we were there before the big dinner rush. Not all the stations were filled but our waitress, a waifish blonde with a loose bun, kept disappearing on us. Clearly she was in over head. The food was just OK. The kitchen was a cacophony of chaotic noises. Loud clashing of pots and pans all evening. Just an unprofessional atmosphere. After nearly ten minutes looking for our waitress, I had to hail another waitress down to ask for the bill and two boxes since we were in a bit of a hurry. Of course they couldn't even get that right. They only brought out one box. Horrible service!

We love Red Robin! The place is exactly what you need if you are looking for low frills, but an easy meal. This is the perfect place for children also. We enjoy the variety of burgers and chicken sandwiches. There is a nice selection of kids meals. It is super kid friendly and there is no issue if your child is a bit loud or moving around alot. That said, they do have a nice beer and bar selection. The food is $ and the unlimited fries are great. We even ask for them to come early to snack on! Then we hit the gym afterwards ha!

Been here 3 times and service is inconsistent. Food and drinks great on all visits. Last night family of 6 there for dinner to celebrate son's 16th Birthday. We told our server about the Birthday so we could enjoy him receiving the happy birthday song and the ice cream sunday.... we were seated and drink orders taken, half drink order came, then appitizers with no napkins or silverware, then 15 minutes later the other half of the drink order, then food all at once, then refills were offered for the drinks, then we waited and waited.... my oldest son wanted to surprise us by paying the bill; so he did and reminded the server about the birthday.... we waited, no birthday song or sunday. Guess the bill was paid and tip was given.....service completely stopped. 3 stars because the food and drinks have always been terrific and on our first two times eating here the service was timely and good. This time..... not good.

This was my second visit to a Red Robin Restaurant. My first was in Pensacola, FL and it was awesome, so when I moved to the Columbia area, I wanted to go back and have a delicious burger. This particular visit was "eh"...although my sweet potato fries were delicious, my burger was forgettable. Our waitress was really attentive and nice, but the 4 or 5 hostesses playing grab ass while filling up helium balloons at the front door??? Distracting and unprofessional. Probably won't be back any time soon.

My department at our corporate location in Columbia, MD had lunch here. 10 people ended up sick after eating their meals. When we called back about this, the manager was rude and hung up. We had to send someone to the place to get a refund and it was still difficult in person. We called the health department and they interviewed all of us over the phone. They launched an investigation. 10 people including myself became really sick after eating here. Instead of doing our jobs, we stayed in the bathroom. It was horrific. The food made us sick. The customer service was terrible. I've never eaten here again and I make sure anyone I know does not eat here either. I'm not paying my money to end up in the ER.

I ate here yesterday. The food was okay. I got the Zagat burger...it had a sunny side up egg on it and bacon along w/ the usual burger toppings. Honestly I could've just gotten a plain bacon cheeseburger and been just as satisfied. For my side, I got onion rings and a strawberry lemonade to wash everything down. They only gave me about 6 onion rings....which I guess is normal compared to other restaurants. The lemonade was good too. My servers name was Susan...she was cool, conversed w/ us, and even told us a little story. But, nothing stands out to me about this place....good or bad. I could've just went to Wendy's and got the pretzel burger meal and saved me $25! Therefore, it only gets 3 starts.

No freaking way! How do you call yourself Red Robin and sell frozen patties as your burger!? Get real. I fell in love with Red Robin in Southern California, because of their fresh ground beef, hot bottomless fries and friendly service. One way to easily piss me off is to claim you have gourmet burgers and then give me a frozen patty. At this Maryland location I usually find a dirty place with nothing but frozen food on the menu. I understand these are franchises but could you spend a little bit more and bring in some quality food? I mean geez. You are cheating people who haven't been to a quality Red Robin out of a good experience. I can't get with this location.

Went to Red Robin on 05/23/2012, during the early afternoon. Server was ok, she wasn't really attentive toward us, had to waive her down for refills on drinks for a party of 2. She did however come back quickly with drinks, napkins, etc. We ordered a regular Gourmet Cheeseburger and a Bleu Cheese Burger Gourmet Cheeseburger was bland, meat was overdone and colorless.. it was a gray burger that just seemed like it was microwaved. Our server responded by sending the manager over and, they took care of the issue by taking it off the bill. Good Customer Service, well done Red Robin! Bleu Cheese Burger was a different story. It was cooked Medium, just as ordered, and had color to it, and was seasoned nicely. Burger was delcious. Sometimes I have problems where the fries are luke warm, but this time, fries were hot, and I got a second order to fill me up. They were great! Place is extremely noisy and loud. Probably the most 'upbeat' place around other than maybe the greene turtle late at night. My opinion, order a burger other than the gourmet cheeseburger. Order one with some toppings or like the whiskey river bbq or the spicy 'formerly 5-alarm burger', they are great.

Yummy colossal-sized burgers, jammed with toppings. Depending on what you get, usually served with unlimited crispy steak fries. SX always gets the Sante Fe burger with crispy onion straws jammed in it as well. I like to try the different types of burgers they have on it. The burger with the grilled pineapple is pretty good! Service is pretty good here and is similar to other chain restaurants. The burger style here is different from Five Guys. The burger at RR is not as flat and can be ordered not well-done. SX and I like both for different reasons. We like the Five Guys Restaurant because of their Cajun-style fries, slightly cheaper burgers, and peanuts! Peanuts only offered at the actual restaurant, not at the food-court Five Guys. We like RR because of the sit-down restaurant atmosphere, crispy on the outside/soft in the inside fries, SX really likes avocado/guacamole on anything, and I like having a milkshake with my burger. Different assorted toppings are offered at Five Guys and RR. If you're a burger fan, try both.

I would give the service at this restaurant 5 stars. Unfortunately. I can't say the same for the food. I asked for my burger rare and it was medium to medium well. I couldn't find anything at all gourmet about it, and the flavor was fairly bland. This is my third visit to this location, and I have been consistently underwhelmed. That being said, it's a great place for families, and the service is always good. I probably will not return.

While the burgers here are fairly good, the service here is awful. We consistently wait for 20 minutes before a server saunters up to our table. They get our orders wrong and then charge us in spite of their mistake. Sorries abound but service is extremely poor. Wish they would replace their "sorry" with better service and get the orders right. There is no manager visible and the front reception is manned by freshly minted high school level waitresses with no semblance of intelligence. Red Robin....hmmmm

The rest of the reviews give you most of the info you need to know about Red Robin. It's a chain burger restaurant with a pretty big non-burger selection, and the schtick here is bottomless fries. It's also a superb place to take kids, and as a result, there are a lot of kids there on weekends and dinner time. But at lunch, it's pretty much the business crowd eatin' dead cows. For this location, they have outdoor seating, and it's orders of magnitude less noisy outside. The staff at this location has always been top notch, too -- they've dealt with our crazy lunch crowd for years now. Did you know you can get bottomless onion straws instead of fries? And you can get your bacon extra crispy? Just ask!

I love this place .. but today i had a bad experience with a waitress called Giavanna...i sat there waiting for a refill on my Guiness Stout ..i watched her walked by several times waiting on others around. ... this woman or girl or whatever just acted like i wasnt there. ...but i figured as soon as i dont tip it will be my BLACK ASS FAULT...so i gave her a $5 tip on a $54 tab. ...i walked out very fustrated...very fustrated... I will go back but if i see her i will with out hesitation request to have my seat moved or have another waitress.

I'm sorry, but there is NOTHING gourmet about these burgers. They aren't even hand formed. No flavor as well. I had to shake on that seasoning they leave at the table and even then I ate less than half of my burger. It was gray in appearance as well. When I saw the 1st burger brought to the table, I noticed the color. I thought someone ordered a veggie burger or something. I was wrong. My burger was just as gray!!

My wife Beth and I had lunch here today. The service was outstanding and our wait person was very, very nice. The Towering Onion rings were really good. Beth had the Veggie Sandwich and said it was just ok. The French Onion soup tasted like hot water and I sent it back. To their credit, the manager visited us, was very apologetic (as was the waitress) and they took it off of our bill.

Decent food, but this place is out of control when it comes to kids... make sure to bring ear plugs and if you have a kid please keep them on a leash (ok, that was just a joke). The burgers and milk shakes are good, the bottomless fries are a plus. I just had their patty melt and it was great ! But the loud screaming and throwing of food by other patrons can be a major drawback, especially on a weekend.

I put three stars only because they changed their nachos. Instead of real cheese they use processed cheese now; no jalapenos. And now where's the beef ?

My all time favorite restaurant. I don't know if I can even write more because I have so much to say. This location is amazing and newly renovated. It is also a fairly new building. I was one of the first customers to come here and I will be the last. I came here back when I was in high school in like 2009. It was amazing. I have come here at least 25-30 times within the past 5 years. Love this place. The fries are amazing! The sauces are amazing! I came here when I was non-vegetarian and the beef burgers were amazing! I still come here now that I am vegetarian and the veggie burgers are amazing! The jalapeno pepper they put on top of the burning love burger is amazing! The strawberry lemonade is amazing! The onion rings are amazing! The shakes are amazing! I also love most of the servers. The guy servers are sometimes rude, but the girl servers are always sweet and serve you with a smile. I am not just saying this but this is my favorite restaurant for life!

Came here for dinner on a Wednesday night. There was a moderate crowd of mostly families, but I wouldn't say it was packed or crazy. When we walked in the host was not even watching the door and seemed to be spaced out staring off into the distance! After about a few seconds of standing next to him and not getting a response I decided I ought to introduce myself. He snapped out of his trace and got us seated fairly quickly without waiting. First there was definitely something wrong with the main heater in the restaurant. Despite the fact that it's December in MD there was cold air coming out of the vents directly onto our table. The Jack Daniels burger I ordered came to me barely at room temperature and seemed like it had been sitting out for a while. I sent it back and the server brought back a new one that was hotter. The new burger itself was fine, but bear in mind that this is a chain restaurant and the patties are not hand formed but pre-made. Not a place you want to go to if you want true 'gourmet burgers'. The server provided good service and seemed to be really trying but the atmosphere and food presentation made me wish I went somewhere else.

Good stuff. I had a great burger here, and yes it is a chain but it was off the chain with tasty burger that I did not want to put down and had to finish. Recommendo for you.

A popular chain in the area. The place offers a plethora of burger varieties. The facility is the classic burger and shake dining. This particular place can get a bit crowded during the lunch rush. I usually stick to the blue ribbon burger or A1 peppercorn. It's a little step up from the BK or McD's in quality and relatively fast if you need a quick bite. Your pocketbook won't mind, but your cholesterol count might.

Great Burgers, great service, it's as american as mom and high blood pressure. i can say my lard butt has had every burger on the menu and i am split between my favs of the banzai burger and the whiskey river burger, both are AWESOME! i was once asked by a girl i went on a date with there if i wanted to try something other than a burger at Red Robin, i hope she enjoyed her long walk home.

You wouldn't think it, but they have a full bar and TVs in the floor. This is a great place to bring your kids for dinner or celebration or colleagues at lunch. The burgers are great, the seasoning on the table is one of a kind. The basket of fries is unlimited and if you're ever looking for a good side dish to go, it's $1.99 for a side of fries.

Always enjoyed the burgers I've had here. If you get the onion ring tower as an appetizer.. be sure to specify the size. I was there with one friend and we randomly decided to get the onion ring tower without realizing how big it was/ that it can come in different sizes. We barely got through the 10 of the 13 of them before our burgers came out. Tasted pretty good though.. so I'm not complaining.. but we were completely stuffed. I think Red Robin is a better value than Five Guys.

I love it here! Waaaaaaaaay better than their Annapolis location. The service here is so fast and friendly. Food comes to you piping hot and fresh off the grill or fryer. Great place to gather with friends and family. Safe and fun for kids. Food is delicious! I've never had to wait more than 15 minutes to be seated. My favorites: Tower of onion rings, chicken tortilla soup, french onion soup, Banzai Burger, Crispy Chicken Burger, Turkey Croissant Sandwich and so much more...... One of my favorite places to eat!!! I'm a regular!!!

I'd say that the food at (any) Red Robin deserves 3 stars. Red Robin is the typical 'gourmet-ish' burger chain restaurant food. Burgers are good (we're not talking Five Guys or In-N-Out good by any means) and the fries are bottomless. Unfortunately, we went during the salmonella tomato stuff so many of the toppings for burgers were missing - and they made guacamole without the tomatoes too. There are kids everywhere and they've given them all balloons... which means every now and again there will be a loud POP behind you. You'll have kiddos playing peek-a-boo with you. Fun stuff! My problem with this particular Red Robin was the service. We had a large party which was a mix of vegetarians and omnivores. The waitress started off complaining how confusing our drink orders were - water and diet coke is really difficult for some!. Even after much discussion as the food was being distributed, they still managed to get it mixed up. They did bring out a new veggie burger for one of the vegetarians but after the waitress stuck her finger in one of the omnivores' burgers (she got guacamole her finger too!), she left thinking the matter was resolved. When she came back about 5 minutes later, she seemed annoyed that someone didn't want a burger she'd stuck her finger in. Yikes.

If I want a satisfying gourmet burger meal and not having to spend a fortune, this is the place to go. Since they have unlimited fries (amazing fries), I usually get it as a "appetizer" for free. The burgers there have never failed me. Every burger i've had, i've loved. I esp liked the one with the fried egg in it. (forgot the name). For carb conscious people like me, I usually get the lettuce bun instead. the service is always great and if you want to customize your burger/meal, the waitress never gave me any attitude. this is a definite go.

I always have friendly service and good meal when I come here. The price is fair and the food portions are big! I especially love their bottomless fries ^__^ I wish the ketchup bottles weren't glass......just me though. Onion rings! YUMMMMY! Fried seafood basket, so good....so unhealthy....but soooooo good. What can I say? Don't bother getting a "healthy" meal here. Eat a salad tomorrow.

Sometimes it is nice to go somewhere you know. I always get the boca patty on the Wiskey River burger. The hubby alternates, but I still with what I know and love. Sign up for their reward card and get free burgers on your bday.

The food here is pretty good, even though the choices are pretty slim. Like Ernest P. mentioned, they give you a choice between "a little pink or no pink". Personally, I found it kind of insulting that I couldn't bet trusted to say and mean "medium", but after working in a steakhouse for over a year, I can understand why they'd want to prevent the extra hassle. This place is always rowdy and always packed with kids and adults alike. Considering it was a Saturday night, the wait wasn't that bad - only 25ish minutes. This place isn't bad if you're looking for a more casual meal. Don't count on any peace and quiet, though.

Been to Red Robins all over the US for years, more times than I can remember. Used to be the number one spot for my family to grab a bite to eat in a kid-friendly environment. We've even celebrated a few low-key family birthdays here when the real birthday is on a weeknight and the actual party is on the weekend. Free balloons and a free dessert. They have excellent service at Red Robin resties. I have never had an issue with service here and I'm super-duper hard to please in that area. The waitresses/waiters are always incredibly personable, friendly and helpful. One of the reasons I come back again and again. They do get busy, especially on the weekend, but if our waiter can't help us another one will help without question. I assume they are trained very well when hired. Stopped in recently after a long hiatus from Red Robin. I was starving and ordered their wings as an appetizer. Of course, we got the limitless steak fries. They hit the spot. However, you can't help but get sick of them because they are such big fries. Helps to season them with their seasoned salt. The wings are only drumettes, no wing tips. Bummed but the sauce made up for it, as well as their delicious ranch. Love their ranch! My kids got the burger with a fried egg on it. So good and cooked perfectly. However, My Whiskey BBQ burger was lukewarm. Sent it back and came back sizzling but waaaaay overcooked (I like it medium, with some pink). I've had that burger before but it just wasn't that good this time. I usually get the Whiskey River chicken wrap and it's always satisfying. I will agree that drinks are overpriced. My kids always want that syrupy sweet freckled lemonade that's close to $5. And its, of course, non-alcoholic.

They make a pretty solid burger, but what wins me over is the bottomless fries, and boy to I make them regret offering me that. The only downside is that it can be a bit noisy and crowded with kids.

  • Angela M.

I know I mentioned this place always being busy and crawling with children. Yep, that's still true. If you have a small party, you can usually walk in and seat yourself at the large bar table; that's usually where we end up on the weekends because toddlers will fall off those seats. More room for us! If you haven't tried their No Bun option, you must. I had the turkey burger wrapped in lettuce and maybe I just like lettuce a little too much, but I was thrilled. It has been one of the tastiest burgers I've had there and I love my 5 Alarm. I think it was the fact that the lettuce was cool crisp and layered, then wrapped into the paper shell so it was very bun-like although, done with lettuce. Does that make sense? I tried to get the Veggie Burger, but they were all out. I'll have to try that out next time. Oh, and to agree with Alyce M., my husband and I ended up at the Rockville location during the tomato scare and it sucked there too. We ordered the EXACT same thing (funny, I think) and we were also sorely disappointed. Couldn't they have mentioned that they were not using ANY tomatoes? I should mention that in an update to that location. Copy, paste - right-o.

I came for lunch with my co-workers and before we left the office we seriously must've spent an hour on their website doing the "customize your nutrition" burger builder. Great fun. At the restaurant, I was really impressed with our waitress. We had a group of seven and she remained super friendly and cheerful as we ordered "the such and such salad with this and not that and this burger without that on it and oh, can we have separate checks please?" The place was pretty empty for lunch, sounds like dinner is a better bet for more atmosphere. My guacamole bacon burger was okay but looked 10x better on the website than on a plate in front of me. They really skimped on the guac.

Mmm. I'm not usually the type of person who likes to pay $9 for a burger, but this place impressed me. The burgers were HUGE and the large steak fries accompanied every burger. If the burger and basket of fries isn't enough to fill you, there are free refills on the fries too. I'm a sucker for mushrooms on burgers, so I tried the "Sauteed Shroom Burger." Very very tasty, and I loved that they didn't skimp on the mushrooms. This is a family-friendly place, so definitely bring the kids along. There were several groups there that looked like they had just finished up soccer practice. I was a little annoyed at the volume of the music playing in the dining area, but I got over it once my burger arrived. Enjoy!

I'm glad I got a chance to try this place--think 5 guys and Sonic minus the drive-through combined. They have a huge burger selection making it difficult to choose, but I ended up with the Blue Ribbon Burger and my other half, the BBQ Whiskey Burger. Given, we were there with a very large party, everyone's drinks were refilled quickly and the fries, eventually came out more regularly. As most people have already said, those steak fries are sooo good and a welcome change from the common thin crispy fry. We also tried the onion rings which were more fragrant than tasty. Sadly, most of us, who were hungry to start, were full on fries by the time our burgers came out. I happened to like the BBQ burger better than my own. Regardless, I'm open to stopping by again and I look forward to trying out more of their menu.

This is a great place for families with small kids- good reasonably priced fresh food, quick friendly service , and a Bar! All the burgers are good, especially the blue-cheese topped, yum. Fries are bottomless fresh wonderful. Desserts don't go much past ice-cream but that's fine. Maybe a star off for hecticness of the whole experience; but have been going for years and I know I will continue to do so.

This Red Robin is NOT like the one's back home. Went here last night as a last resort because 2 other places we tried were crazy busy. I say last resort not because none of us like the place or anything, but because we were out looking for drink specials. The whiskey river bbq burger and endless fries sounded like a good trade off for happy hour specials at the other places anyway. We walked in and honestly it looked like a 1st grade field trip to disney land in there. There were children literally everywhere you looked, all running around with balloons. We had a larger party so were seated ahead of some other 2-3 party groups because they had the wrap around booth available. I ordered a Sam Adams Winter Lager which came out promptly, in a frosty mug, and ice cold. Delicious. However, some guy brought them out and spilled like an inch of my sister in laws blue moon all over the table in front of her and just pretended like it didn't happen. Our own waitress seemed alright to begin with but you could tell that maybe she was getting annoyed with all of the loud kids getting in her way. So we placed our orders, myself and my brother in law got a whiskey river bbq burger, mine medium, his medium well. My wife got the whiskey rvr as well but with a boca patty. Someone other than our waitress brought us out our food and she is responsible, in that matter of 20 seconds of handing out our food, for loosing a whole star. Everyone knows theres a big difference between a 3 vs. a 2 star review. She was that bad. When I told her that one was medium and one was medium well she shot me this look, kind of like if I had just told her she was adopted or something. She huffed and starred at the burgers for a second, which had no visible distinction placed on them from the kitchen, and figured to herself, they'll never know, and handed us whatever she wanted. I did know. Oh well. My wife had never had the whiskey river before so wasn't aware that it comes slathered in bbq sauce. She was saying that hers was really dry and then I realized there was in fact no river of sauce as advertised. I looked around for our original waitress only to see her at the table 2 down from us chit chatting with her friends who came in. She looked at our table, we were all looking at her like we needed something, and she continued talking to her friends, and then turned and walked away. Nice. She ended up going and talking to her friends some more and then seriously around 10 minutes later she makes her way over. Four of us wanted to take advantage of the endless fries and my wife wanted her bbq sauce. The waitress asked her if she wanted it remade but we were all done with our burgers so she just asked for a side of sauce. Generally for such an experience, one usually makes an attempt to, say, ease up on the bill a little bit. Maybe 1/2 off your burger? No no.. right back to her friends she ran. While my burger was indeed delicious, albeit slightly overcooked, and the fries were hot and crispy, the service was terrible. Also, the kids running around popping balloons like it was 1st grade recess was obnoxious, but that's not the restaurants fault, but it certainly detracted from my experience. I prefer the Red Robins back in Michigan.

Never tired the burgers, ordered a pasta dish. Food is OK, same level as Fridays, bennigans and various other chains. Overall for an inexpensive meal, that will fill you up, this place isn't bad. My only complaints, too many kids, noisy, lighting is blinding, along with the busy interior decorations.

Make your own giant burger on their website! redrobin.com Take Fuddruckers. Make the burgers better. Add chicken wings and better fries. Change the settup suck that you no longer have to MAKE your damned sandwedge, 'cause Red Robin makes it for you, AND THEY DO A BETTER JOB THAN YOU EVER COULD. Parking is alright, but that entire shopping center is a nightmare to try to drive around. Also, don't even think about hanging out there on a Friday evening. Frickin' crazy. The wait more or less FORCES you to spend time at Borders, Target, Peir 1, or Kinkos. That's how they make their damned money!

    (4)
  • Ernest P.

The burgers are just ok. A bit on the small side. Also there is no way to pick how you like it cooked. They ask, "A little pink or no pink?" but i have not noticed a difference between the two. At least 1/2 the time the burgers come out very quickly, and cold! I assume they have been pre-cooked. They are more than happy to bring you another hot one but kinda annoying. The all you can eat fries are fun and fattening, while the salads are better than average. Ask them to split the salads and you get basically two whole portions!

Let me start by saying that from where I sit, all these Over-the-Top chain burger joints are basically the same with different shlock. I should open up a shlock supply warehouse and cater to TGIF, Fuddrucker's, Red Robin, all those places. Sell oldey-timey beer signs and retired Studabaker bumpers. Anyway, Red Robin is pretty standard chain sit-down burger joint. It's ALWAYS jammed there (Columbia location, anyways). These people can't get enough of it. Then they go in and order the onion ring tower. It's $8 for about 9 onion rings but they stack em up for you! Whee! The burgers and fries are decent if you are into a $12 lunch. I'd probably get my next burger well done, as the last one I wanted medium (they've dumbed that down to "a little pink" or "no pink") was pretty rare and wet. Hope you like your bun soggy. Oh, and let me just rant about one more thing. I was a little disappointed that you could not mainline saturated fat there. WTF, they sell burgers with onion rings and fried eggs and stuff like that on it. For the love of God, do me a favor and throttle back at Red Robin while I go out and buy stock in Boston Scientific.

Great Staff.....Enjoyable Meal. We arrived with a group of 22 people and were able to get our tables very quickly (15 min). Our server was terrific, she managed our large party, quickly and efficiently with a smile on her face. Food was prepared and served quickly. Everyone loved their food and had a great time. We highly recommend this Ref Robin.

Food is good, but service is meh. Was unable to order a beer after asking two servers. The waiter said the manager would speak with us, but he was a no-show, too. The Bowie location is great, but they underperform here.
