Always a friendly and welcoming location, I really dig the Thursday night crew. Turkey, Bacon & Cheddar Flat with a little mayo and lots of hot peppers is an amazing sandwich! Plus they have Zapps chips which is always a win. On weekends, they often have local musicians perform which makes for a nice ambiance. Shakes are amazing and just the right size!

The music at lunchtime sucks ass. Can't talk or enjoy lunch with all the racket in here. The food is great. Wreck salad is a great option to cut the bread

Best sandwich I've had in a while. I will definitely be going back. Can't believe this is my first time eating here. YUMMMO Tip: order & pay online and pick up to save yourself the incredibly LOOOOONG lunch line

Not overly impressed. I ordered A Wreck as recommended by a previous reviewer. I like all those meats and combined sound d awesome. When I received the sub, it was squished, a bit soggy, and very uninspired. Plus it set me back $10 with chips and a water. I also bought a big dill pickle. It was cut all wrong, soggy, and mushy. Don't know if these are location issues or in general with this chain. Will not repeat at this point.

Located in busy plaza.. Not very different from other potbelly locations in terms of food but the inside seatings are a bit limited with lots of outdoor seatings. There were 4 guys working and I went around 3pm ish the place wasnt busy but the tables were dirty with crumbs and some tables were sticky...

One of the best sandwiches in town, very good stuff. I also love their cookies, delicious as well. Never crowded.

If you are looking for a quick deli sandwich with quality ingredients and a great price tag this is your place! I have only been to this location twice but from my experience the service is good. The sandwiches are great (better than Subway hands down) and at a great price. They also have a lot of drink options other than just a fountain drink and I noticed they make smoothies and milkshakes too. I will certainly be visiting more after my most recent experience, I don't know why I haven't give Potbelly a try sooner.

i was there like a month a go 1- there is poor selection 2- staff were soooo confused 3- i got turkey and my friend got roast beef.oh god it was the MOST awful dey and tasteless food ive EVER had :/

Typically Potbelly joint. I've had all their sandwiches before but this is the first time I've been to the Columbia locations. The place is clean and service is fast. I recommend getting their sandwiches "thin cut" (less bread) and try "The Wreck" if your first time. One bad thing about here is that over by the fountain drink machine, there is really no organization for where the lids and straws are. If the place is busy you will be reaching over everyone trying to grab a lid and straw. It's just not very convenient.

I work nearby so sometimes we order their food. It's totally average fare but the price reflects that so it's nice to have somewhere in Columbia that doesn't charge ridiculous prices. I am a huge milkshake fan and I must say it's nice to have a milkshake place in the area that can actually make a thick deliciously creamy (giggity) vanilla shake.I can't speak towards dining room service but I would absolutely take my son there for a little lunch date :)

Typical Potbelly place. The sandwiches are much better than the ones you will find at Subway. Every time I go, I find myself failing to resist the urge of buying a smoothie (they are delicious.) It can get kind of crowded here during the lunch rush. I wish there was more parking. They had a guy in here on Friday that was playing live-music (blues, I think) that was really good. I found myself enjoying the music moreso than my sandwich.

Love this place! Friendly, fast employees - ALWAYS great food. And amazingly delicious Chocolate Brownie Cookies. We even recently had a little mix up at the shop earlier this week and I got a response within 1 hour of my email to customer service. Jackie (the district manager who called me) was amazingly nice and helpful - even went above and beyond to take care of us right away to make it right. I will forever be loyal to this cozy little sandwich shop. Thank you Potbelly's!

I used to go to Potbelly's a lot when I lived in DC so I was really excited when I heard that Potbelly's was taking the place of the old Starbucks on Dobbin Road. It seems like a standard Potbelly's---the line moves quickly even when it's crowded and the staff are very friendly. My favorite is the chicken salad sandwich on thinned wheat bread. I like having the thin bread so I have an equal meat to bread ratio. The chicken salad is very basic, with pulled chicken (not chunks) and it's not over mayo-ed. The bread is toasted with provolone cheese. My husband loves the Wreck, which is their version of an Italian cold cut and he has had some of their soups in the past and was a fan. I die for their Oatmeal Chocolate Chunk Cookies. They are amazzzzzzing! I also remember the Oreo milkshakes being pretty great too. This location isn't huge so during peak hours there isn't a ton of seating although there are some outdoor seats.

While the food here is what you would get at any Potbelly's ...the online ordering system is terrible. On several occasions, they have missed the order completely (it was in their email system, but didn't see it), gotten the order completely wrong (claiming it was busy that day), or forgot items totally. I will give them credit for correcting the items, but during the day it's a major inconvenience to have to wait for lunch twice.

One has got to love Potbellys! I have been to Potbellys many times now and I can't say they have steered me wrong. First off I like that most Potbellys are bustling semi-noisy places, makes it feel like there is a party or social event going on. Makes you want to sit down, eat and talk to you friends you are there with. The service is useally good, everyone listens and pretty much takes your many nagging changes in stride! One also has a good amount of options to choose from, soup, sandwiches, salads, cookies and shakes! You can pretty much can fill you hungrey belly here! I useally get there subs cut thin (thin means they take some breading out as to reduce the calorie total :) ) and I love getting there HOTS on the sub! The hots are actually kinda hot and make the sandwich ooh soo good! Just make sure you have a napkin near by (for the drool of course ;) ) But recently I have started getting their Black Bean soup... it has to be one of my fav black bean soups around... its always spicey, tastey and fills you up just enough so you can eat half your sandwich and keep the second half for later (just make sure you don't forget it in your car!!) Overall Potbellys is one of my fav sub places the food is fresh, tasty, and the service is quick, good and friendly. So add the HOTS and take your antacid, this is gonna be a spicy ride!! Cheers mates!

Choose your sandwich bread between white or multigrain wheat and original or 30% bigs for size. There are several options for sandwiches and all of them are good. Since it was a Friday during Lent, I decided on the Mediterranean which includes, hummus, feta cheese, artichoke hearts and roasted red peppers. I got a bunch of toppings for the sandwich. They also let me try their broccoli and cheddar soup and the spicy bean soup! Both was delicious and I couldn't decide...but finally opted for the Spicy Bean. It's tomato based and completely vegetarian. Very good, if it's there, you've got to at least sample it! The shopping center that this particular Potbelly is located is weird. You have to drive to the back and it's pretty awkward to get into.

I've only been here twice and in the late evening before closing. It's the typical Potbelly experience: good. Staff are friendly and helpful. They've allowed us to eat and sit in there after closing while they cleaned up. Can't go wrong with the food. I tend to get the Wreck or Italian sandwiches. You can get these in salad form, too. I like the Potbelly vinaigrette. They've only recently opened up but one guy told me they've already had some of their outdoor furniture stolen. Nice job, Columbia. Way to welcome them. *roll eyes*

I read in one of the Potbelly reports that they require their managers to live and work within a relatively short distance from their store so they get to know their community. This has paid off in this store. I'm in this store on a regular basis, the manager knows the options that I flip between and exactly how to ask what I want. The price keeps me coming back as it is one of the best flavored places in Columbia for the best value price as well. Not to mention, the soups.......doesn't matter your preference or flavor, they are always ready, and always very good! Their has been virtually zero turnover in this store from what I can tell. The staff gets to know who visits on a regular basis and introduces themselves to you accordingly. Very friendly, great food, great prices and a VERY clean store. I can't praise this crew enough, they do a fabulous job to keep this place as a Columbia top performer.

Don't badger me but I just like Subway better. Key point - Price! Potbelly is more expensive and sandwiches are not as big as Subway. Plus, for the cost of my simple chicken sandwich I could have gotten a meal. Taste wise, they are not bad but I feel like I get bigger bang for my buck at the local Subway.

I love this place. My mom and I went there for lunch and also now I don't have to go too far. I got the wreck sandwich. My mom got a chicken salad sandwich. It was so good. Nice and fresh coming from the oven. Can't go wrong with the food. The staff are nice and friendly.

I already love potbelly and am really just writing a review to extol how glad I am that they are now in my neighborhood. I've been twice since they've opened and they are super friendly. Other than the staff the rest is pretty much what you get at any potbelly around the country. Same sandwiches and I love that they orangina :)

When this particular Potbelly first opened up, it was so good. I had lunch here at least 1 day every week and the staff was amazing and friendly. Overtime, newer people started coming to work here - the friendly faces started disappearing, the quality of their sandwiches went down, our office online order did not get delivered, etc. I feel like this place just isn't what it started out to be. Now I go here once every 1-2 months and never get impressed enough to come around more.
