Wow, this is a gem of a place! My husband and I are always on the look out for new restaurants. We came here because we read about it in a Howard County magazine. The restaurant is very nicely decorated. Lots of natural light. When we ordered, our server asked "mild or spicy?" and we chose mild. Saag Paneer (paneer in creamy spinach), one of our favorite dishes, was excellent. The Lamb Curry had a lot of spices, but not hot, and tasted good. The naan was so buttery and melts in your mouth - one of the BEST NAANs I have ever had. We tried a Nepali appetizer, Chicken Shekuva (?) which looked like grilled chicken with smashed rice and kind of pickled vegetables. The chicken was very flavorful, but too spicy (hot) for us. The server offered to get us another order, since we had originally said "mild" and we took that to-go. The rice pudding was excellent. My daughter asked for seconds. BTW I requested all the food to be nut-free, and they accommodated. We will definitely go back there. Maybe next time I will get tandoori, since it smelled so good!

Had a perfect evening and my lamb roganjosh and the garlic naan was the bomb! Going back again very soon, more to try!

Great lunch buffet! Over half of the buffet was vegetarian, so we were quite pleased. It was a great, diverse selection too. Well cooked and decent amount of spice. Best part was the waiter brought out a basket of warm, buttered, naan. Mmmm. We will definitely be back for more.

One of the best for Indian takeout in the area. They have delivery, which is much appreciated if you don't wanna go out but also not hankering for pizza or Asian. Their menu is impressive!

I hate that I have to leave this review because I LOVED curry and kabob before just now. I placed an order online and I received a text stating that they were very busy and it would take 40 minutes for my food. When I walked in there was no one dining and the man who rung up my order was asleep at the bar. They also informed me that the system for ordering online takes 15% of my food order so the 15% off pick up coupon that I used just lost them money. I'm pretty angry after sitting in the parking lot for an extra 30 minutes for my food to begin with when they were empty. I still gave it 2 stars because the food is great, but when I spend $50 for take out and then you tell me the coupon I'm using is losing you money..why give out coupons then??!!

This is a true hidden gem in a town where all the chains and trendy places have 2-hour waits. It is the best Indian/Nepalese food I've ever had! We've gotten both carryout and eaten in (not crowded for dinner, and there is a buffet for lunch) - orders always have the perfect amount of heat and extremely flavorful. This place is tucked away and almost hidden due to the constructions at the Wilde Lake Shopping Center. Amazing Tikka Masala, Butter chicken, Vindaloo, Chicken Thali and my favorite which is Chaat Papri (think Indian nachos: delicious). I have sent everyone I know to this place - the owners/servers are extremely friendly and very accommodating - and they have all fallen in love with it. Please check this place out and support their business!! You won't be disappointed.

Excellent buffet with fresh, tasty items. The staff is friendly, and the restaurant and bathrooms are clean.

Even though the restaurant was nearly empty, we had to seat ourselves because no one came out to greet us for quite some time. The waiter was somewhat friendly, but we had to be pretty proactive to get helped. However, the food was delicious and just the right level of spice.

I love Indian food and this Restaraunt is outstanding. The food and service are excellent. They also serve Nepalese food. The menu is extensive and they offer a buffet for $9 that is endless if you are famished. This place is worth driving to.

Dinner was awesome. The nepalese dinner could feed a small family and it gives a taste of the basics. Servers inquire about your preferred spice level, and they get it pretty darned accurate. It was declared "great" by my bf, who rarely has given that accolade. I let the server pick the kabob, and he chose Jungle Chicken. It comes out bright green from the mint sauce, but was tasty and perfectly cooked. Servers love to describe the food, so if you're in doubt, ask. They will oblige. They're pretty friendly, but they can get slammed if several parties walk in. Went for lunch, it's basic Indian buffet. It was slightly less impressive than dinner, but still tasty. Hope folks find it, because it's buried in the back of the shopping center under construction.

I'd had Nepali food once years ago in Adams Morgan and I remember it being good, so I was eager to try this place. The first time I went, I was seated but several minutes after had still not been greeted, so I walked out. I thought I'd withhold a review though because I hadn't eaten anything. I took another shot, this time with a friend, a week later. If this is what Nepali food tastes like, I'd never eat it again. Lentils were watery and bland, and the mushrooms were non-descript with a slightly offputting texture. Maybe the Indian food is better but after having a pretty poor service experience I'd be reluctant to return.

It's great to have this regional cuisine represented successfully in Wilde Lake! The lunch buffet has consistently been delicious and fresh, weekends and weekdays alike. There is a good variety of dishes and chutneys on the buffet, with satisfying combinations of flavor options. There are plenty of vegetarian selections in addition to several options for chicken and sometimes goat. The surprise hits are the chow mein and the jungle chicken, but the popular dishes, like chicken tikka masala and saag, are tasty, too. Fried rice is spiced in an exciting way, so don't skip it. I was told that the lunch buffet is mildly spiced, so diners should order medium or hot when dining a la carte, if they prefer more of a kick. We'll definitely be returning to this place regularly for lunch, including hot chai and fresh naan served personally to each table.

Terrific food and great service. The buffet is high quality and reasonably priced. The Nepalese specialties are interesting and delicious plus they have all of our favorite Indian dishes.

My sister and I came here a while ago and she had a Living Social coupon for this place. It took us a good 20-30 minutes just to find this place because there was a bunch of construction going on, we had to circle around the area 3 times before finding a way to some buildings nearby then walked the rest there. Sunday around noon and they weren't finished prepping the buffet line yet. Guess we came a bit early. But when they finished up, we got our food and sat down. People started coming in and packing the place. I'm a big guy and it was hard for me to maneuver around peoples tables, sometimes their elbows would rub against my butt... :/ But aside from that, their food was good! Forgive me if I'm wrong but I believe their cuisine is from Nepal annnnnd..... Indonesia? Definitely great food.

While the number of dishes is much smaller compare to royal tag, quality was actually much better, everything was fresh and not fatty or oily.

We came here yesterday and because of the snow and the cold, it was empty apart from one other diner. But the tasty Indo-Nepalese buffet warmed our tummies and my husband was quite happy with our lunch choice. This is not far from the mall and if you are looking for something a bit different while still offering a bang for your buck, I do recommend it. I have heard about this place before but have to think that if they had a clearer sign outside they they would do quite a brisk business. That would probably apply to every business there. I hope that once the renovations are done to the shopping center, they will find a way advertise the businesses better for people just driving by.

We came to this place because of their high rating. Unfortunately we were sadly disappointed. We came around 7 on Sunday night. There was actually only one family in the restaurant. I realized quickly they were Nepali, of course this made me excited because it made me feel it was more authentic. Well this actually didn't work in our favor. There was only one waiter, and he didn't seem to understand anything we said. There were 3 of us, and even with all of us looking at him, he ignored us. We order all of our food super hot, and it came our pretty mild. The daal was burnt and honestly we couldn't get the waiters attention. He hovered around the family, talking to them and getting them everything. We couldn't even get more water when we wanted. We sat and waited for 30 minutes after we were done just waiting for boxes and our check. Long story short, bad service, mediocre food, and apparently unless you are Nepali don't expect much.

This is a very unassuming Nepalese restaurant. The buffet was all that was open when I visited on a Monday for lunch, but the food was very tasty and they have the best non. You have to park and walk to the restaurant which is tucked away in the corner of the shopping plaza.

This place has an extensive menu with some dishes that you won't find elsewhere in Columbia. It's hidden in a little shopping center, but don't let the construction deter you. I imagine they're busier for the lunch buffet, but they were empty around dinnertime, which is a shame. The host that greeted us was very kind, but service was a little awkward with some gaps, but that's a lot of places when they're not busy, there's just no rhythm to the table service when there's nobody. But onto the food, which was spectacular. I started with the dal shorba, which I ordered spicy. Whoa! It's not often that I ask for spicy and they give it to me. It was so warming, really hit the spot. We started with the momo steamed dumplings that came with a really tasty cold dipping sauce. I can't believe they give you twelve to an order, bring a group! We shared the chicken tikka tandoori special, and the chicken was mildly spiced. I wasn't expecting ground chicken though the masala it came with on the side and the blackened onions on the sizzling platter more than made up for it. And then the chicken Korma, ordered spicy. The sauce was so rich, and sweet, nutty with some heat. It was addictive. I opted to have my rice switched out with a small salad, and they obliged happily. The garlic naan was light and flaky, but not heavy on the garlic flavor. I would love to try some goat and the Peshawar naan, so I will be back, and soon.

I decided to order since hubby and I were exhausted but famished. Grub hub said over an hour and it was here inside of 40 minutes. Everything was hot and tasty. Portions were large enough for leftovers. Not the best Indian I've had in Columbia but definitely worth ordering again (especially since it can be delivered). Ordered meat samosas, garlic naan, chicken tikka masala and saag paneer. He liked the tikka masala though he'd never tried it before. He's somewhat picky so that's good. Going to try the dumplings and other Nepalese food next time.

For an Indian type buffet, this was excellent. Dumbfounded by the lack of business at lunchtime. The construction must be taking a toll. Clean, well lit and delicious. Will come again.

It's worth braving the mess that is the Wilde Lake village center to get to this place. Start with the Nepali appetizer, momos. They are light and fresh (but be warned they take a little while longer than you would expect for an appetizer). Move over to India for the main course. The roganjosh was the best I've ever had. Everything tastes similar to what I expect from a standard Indian dish but with a little extra delicacy to the spices. I wish I could review dessert but I was so stuffed, I couldn't eat another bite. Next time...

Fantastic! What a treat to find such good, authentic food right in our neighborhood. A little pricey, but worth it. I highly recommend the momos.

This is a superb Indian-Neaplese restaurant. The food is on par with Royal Taj but there is no line here (more on that later). The owners are really nice and go out of their way to be sure you have a great experience. I asked for club soda which they did not have. Later in the meal it suddenly appeared and at no charge. I am pretty sure the owner went to the market and bought it. The wait staff is the nicest in Baltimore. Their breads are the best I have had. I love their poori. The curries are delicious. Get the biryani and daal dishes. Their tea is sooooo good. Their business should be standing room line out the door but it is not. I think it is because of all the construction going on around Splash Down and Dave's Natural Market. Do not be detered. Parking is free and plentiful. Go there...you will not be disappointed.

This little jewel of a restaurant is tucked away in the Wilde Lake Village Center, which is currently under renovation. It is well worth the trip, however, and one of the best Indian/Nepalese restaurants that I have ever dined at. My husband and I went in for an early dinner, the attentive staff greeted us warmly and quickly found a place for us to sit. The meal started with papadams brought to the table with the traditional trio of condiments. I ordered the medium hot Nepalese Dhedo Vegetable Thali and my husband had the Curried Goat which he ordered with maximum heat for the peppers. The naan was some of the best I've ever tasted. The food arrived quickly and was delicious. The Thali comprised a yellow-lentil dhal, a subtly spiced mixed vegetable curry, chutney, a saag of spinach, and potatoes. But perhaps the most interesting part of it was a mash of millet, which was very much like a polenta. Wonderful! I think we've found a new favorite place to eat and will return again.

Fast delivery reasonable prices by far the best Indian food around. The people at the restaurant go above and beyound for every customer. This is by far the best delivery restaurant in the howard county area.

I just wanted to say that we had a great experience at this restaurant, the server was very friendly and attentive and the food was excellent. We ordered Butter Chicken, Garlic Naan and Palak Paneer, they were all really tasty. We would highly recommend this place for to try!!

Always want to try this restaurant. The parking lot is so small and tight. The place is fancy and small. The staff are nice and friendly. The buffet is $9.99 I like Nepali chow mein and the desert.

  • Lorena G.

We went on a Saturday to enjoy the buffet. They don't have many dishes in it, but all the food was delicious and the service was great, for $9.90 it was unbeatable. I had never had Nepalese food, and I really liked it! The only problem was the parking, as the center around it is still in construction and it was a confusing to get there. The good part is that it was worth it.

** Rant: I blame the globalization and "Brand India" for "Indianzing" the entire subcontinent cuisines into a paneer, okra, tikka masala and naan fair! Anybody who's lived in India will tell you that the food varies from region to region and sometimes from one city to another because of different cultures, languages, customs and varying vegetation. Nepal is an independent country by itself. Authentic Nepali food does not have tikka masala, okra, jalfrezi or naan. I fail to understand why non-Indian subcontinent restaurants cannot stay authentic to their region. I wish the owner and his new business all the best, he seems like a genuinely good chap. That said, they have a long long way to go if they intend to tango with other Indian/subcontinental joints in this part of Maryland . I'm no stranger to the Wilde Lake Village Center. And for good or bad, most businesses that open in that plaza tend to close within 5 years. Curry&Kabob may have chosen this location to keep away from more established Indian joints in the main business areas of Columbia. But a sign outside (facing towards the road) would help customers locate this place more easily. Weekend buffets are usually busy fair at most buffet joints. The first bad sign was just 2 occupied tables. And a trip to the buffet table explained why. They had failed to replenish emptying trays with fresh food. The fried rice and noodles were glued to the bottom of the dish. The saag ( creamy spinach ) was just too salty. The vegetable jalfrezi too bland, and the okras were swimming in oil. The usual chicken tikka and chicken kabobs were no better according to my wife, and were dry, oily or bland. The only redeeming part were the fresh naans served straight to the table. Dessert was conspicuously absent ! And upon inquiring, we were directed towards some sweetened rice porridge in a small bowl next to the salad dressings ! Needless to say, we skipped it. Yes, at just $9/plate, it is much cheaper than Flavors of India or Royal Taj, but it is cheaper for a reason. Maybe i'll give it another shot and try ordering from the menu the next time. But i dont see myself going there anytime soon.

I tried this place for lunch buffet. All dishes were good and tasty. I agree with some other reviewers that mentioned that keeping salads next to desserts is a bit unusual but it is not a big deal. The quality of the food and ambience were great.

This place was fabulous!!!!! We were at a tennis match in the area that ended late and went looking for a late night take-out place in the area and decided to try this place because out of all the places listed on Yelp that were open, they had the highest ratings. They are well hidden due to all of the construction but definitely worth checking them out. The food was excellent and everything was made fresh (nothing was staged or reheated) on the spot, despite the fact that we had gotten there about 20 minutes before they closed. The staff was very friendly and I feel as if we received over the top service. We ordered several dishes including curry shrimp, a dish made from dried lamb and a few varieties of the bread. The food was expertly packed (not the usual Styrofoam bowls that waste sauce) and smelled so good. We couldn't wait to end our 45 minute drive to dig in. It was definitely worth the wait. Everything was delicious!!! Good size portions and the seasonings were dead on. If we are ever back in Columbia for another tennis tournament, I will definitely seek them out.

Great Masala tea and momo dumplings! The buffet is always a good choice and they have carry out too. Lately they have been having special discounted pricing because they are new, feel free to call ahead and ask.

We ate here on Saturday. What a nice dinner! The tandoori chicken was perfectly cooked, and the chickpeas and spinach was super. I will come here again and again. Doesn't have a liquor license yet but they seem to be working on that.

Chicken Tiki Marsala was great. There was the option of hot medium and mild. Terrific! I also had the nan. It was good. A nice menu with a lot of options that I cant wait to explore more of. I just got carryout tonight, but was pleased. Only gripe is everything on dinner menu is around 15 dollars or more. An truthfully i only ordered tiki marsala, and after tasting it I would gladly pay 15 dollars for it. It was excellent. I will be back.

What a great addition to the Columbia food scene. Wonderful Nepalese/Indian food and great service. Ambiance is weirdly Japanese, but lets face it, it's all about the food. Not generally a buffet person, but it IS good, and they also have take-out. Wonderful, unique deserts (Try the carrot pudding!). You must give this eatery a try.

I went ahead and tried their authentic Nepali dish - Chicken Dhedo Thali. It has the finger millet (Raagi Flour) mashed, thick and sticky, with a curry chicken and variety of Nepali style vegetables. This is the first time i was having such a food. The server and the manager were too excited that I was having their style food and each one of them came to me and told me how to eat it properly. That was one awesome service and i completely loved the food. Raagi is very healthy food. That mashed flour dipped in chicken curry was very tasty. I loved it.....I will go again!

This is my favorite restaurant in Columbia! We usually go for the lunch buffet, and it's amazing - you can't go wrong with any of the options. I especially love their naan - it's the best I've had in a long time, maybe ever. And the staff is fantastic - friendly and attentive. I can't recommend this place enough.

Love this place. I go for the $9.99 buffet which is the bargain of the century; it's on until about 2-2:30 each day; check. Mr. Bom will bring you fresh anything on the buffet to your table, and naan bread out of the oven. They aim to please here. The rest of the menu is fantastic too; large portions. They have reallyyyy been hurt by the construction in Wilde Lake which has gone on for over a year; tell your family and friends to go to help them! It's such a treat.

If you love Indian food and live in Howard County, you can't just know Royal Taj. After ordering several take-outs and having one weekend buffet, Curry&Kabob became my #1 choice of Indian food! Please try the lunch buffet! You don't need to wait like Royal Taj, and the food is super delicious. Especially their fresh made nann! The owner is super nice as well. We probably won't go to any other Indian restaurants while living here.

This place serves real Indo-Nepali food! I stumbled upon this place during a walk around my neighborhood. Its pretty tucked away in the Wilde Lake Town Center. My husband and I arrived toward the end of the lunch buffet but there was still enough food for us. We were particularly impressed by the included Chai tea latte, warm spicy and delicious. All of the buffet items were very good. The only off item was the chicken tikka masala (a touch salty). The accompanying Naan bread was hot and delicious. Fabulous addition to the neighborhood and a great value $9.99 buffet! Coming back soon and often!

I was staying at the Sheraton about a mile away and I was tired of all the franchise food and so I walked close to two miles to try this place and it was worth it! The samosa chat was great and the paneer Tika masala was amazing!!

We have had two great dinners here. We have ordered Chicken Tikka Masala, Mutter Paneer and the Vegetable Korma. All 3 were fantastic. The food is as good as any Indian in the area. The prices are on par ($15) as well as the serving size (4 or 5). Mild is a non-Indian mild (our young daughter can eat it), but still retains a great flavor. Medium has a nice undercurrent of spice. We might venture into hot next time. I can see the Curry and Kabob becoming our go to place for Indian.

Amazing fare and warm service. Although our waiter (possibly manage or owner) seemed to be a bit confused with our questions at times, he was genuinely kind and attentive. It was really hard to decide what to get considering their menu is extensive and varied, but we ultimately settled on the Momo (dumplings), Lamb Seekh Kabob, Chicken Vindaloo, and Garlic Naan. Not a single dish disappointed! The only complaint I have is that everything took foreverrrr. They close at 10:00 PM on a Sunday night, and while we got there and ordered by 9:15, our food didn't come out to 9:45-9:50 PM. We asked for a to-go sauce for our leftover Kabob and it took another 10 minutes to make. Aside from all that, we're really looking forward to coming back and trying the authentic Nepalese cuisine!

Based on the food alone, I'd give this place 3.5, but because they deliver, I'll bump it up to 4. I've never been to the restaurant so I can't comment on the ambience or service. The food is pretty good. Delivery has been approx. 45, so I'd say it's quick.

  • Tyler A.

We decided to try out their Indian cuisine last night and were very excited that they delivered! It was delicious. Really like that you can specify the level of spice from mild-medium-hot. We had the Aloo Ghobi, Chana Masala, Biryani, and Lamb Vindaloo and would recommend all 4 dishes. Very excited to have a new type of cuisine to add to the small list of places that deliver in Columbia! Edited review because we had horrible food the last time we had it delivered. Enough to never order again. It really overshadowed all previous experiences.

I'm really happy we discovered this place!!! It's an excellent exotic dining experience. It has all the best of what you'd expect from an Indian restaurant like Royal Taj, but combine that with NEPALESE. The parking is tricky, but don't let that deter you. It's basically right next to the Melting Pot (In fact, skip Melting Pot and come here, the food is better!!!) The interior is very charming and the staff are very polite. The food is fresh, healthy, and authentic. I started with an Indian coffee which has multiple spices in it, and knocks any Starbucks latte out of the water. I've never had anything like it. Next, the naan, we ordered the rotti, which is the wheat naan baked in a tandoor oven. Let me put it this way, I wouldn't even dip the bread in any of their exotic spices because it was so delicious, I didn't want anything to mask its flavor. NOW THAT'S GOOD. The Nepalese dumplings which they call momo were also fantastic. The chicken is spiced in a way I've never experienced before but extremely good. 12 came in 1 order, very generous. We ordered the chicken coconut and the lamb saag for entrees, both were done right and were served with delicious basmati rice. This place needs more people to try it out because once you do, you're HOOKED!!!

Just had food delivered from here using the GrubHub App: -Mango Lassi -Samosas -Goat Curry -Fish Curry -Kheer -Gulab Jamun Don't judge... I'll be eating this for the rest of the week! Everything was delish. I should have taken pics of my plate, but I was so starved that I devoured it. Trust me, it's yummy. Excellent for delivery. Can't imagine how great it is at the restaurant.

  • Sona R.

Really good food. The Indian dishes are pretty authentic tasting and really flavorful. Be warned - when you say you want something spicy, they will make it SPICY. I'm Indian and I usually ask for the highest level of spice (something along the lines of - "make it as spicy as you can" - and if I'm lucky, it's as spicy as I like it). Not here. Medium to Medium-High is perfect for me at Curry & Kabob. Knocking off 1 star because their naan breads can be a little dry and hard, which may be because we usually do takeout and it hardens in the transit time. Their Momos are amazing but the sauce it comes with sometimes strikes me as a little bland or lacking some seasoning. Delivery can take a while but we usually did carry-out.

  • Jaclyn G.

What a hidden gem! A peaceful place infused with spiritual Nepalese flavor, the food and service here was fabulous. Warning- their spice calculus is a little different from mine and my boyfriends, so order mild if you want medium, and medium if you're feeling super daring and want hot, etc. I went vegetarian with the okra (bhindi masala) and the boyfriend went classic chicken tikka masala. Both dishes were GREAT but the tomatoey goodness that was his chicken was heavenly and I found myself using all of the garlic naan we ordered to sop it off his plate! Anyways, great place, great service, relatively well priced. A must go! Also they give you complimentary crunchy papadam and great spices/toppings (don't try the brown sauce or your mouth will be on fire, do try the sweet red peppers and lots of em!). Four stars since the waiter took his sweet Nepalese time but he was always pleasant!

In Columbia/ellicott city area they are a few Indian restaurants. This one is by far the best, these next too I'd say are good but the flavors just aren't there. #2 would be chutney, #3 would be royal taj. All others I won't even list as no point in visiting u will waste your money. Let me explain why this place is the best, it comes down to the flavor of the food and the atmosphere and price. It's the least expensive of the 3 I always come here for the lunch buffet the service is awesome, the manager is so friendly and the two owners are also very nice. They will accommodate your every need. Chutney and taj both get way too busy so the service becomes sub par. This place is never busy because it's kind of hidden, it's right next to the melting pot and the new CVS on twin rivers..u may miss the entrance as the small parking lot says construction but u can still get in. Also it has the best NAAN bread in my opinion in Maryland it is amazing and they bring it out to you warm and hot when you order, none of this pre-made old naan. This place is the best And because of this I never will go to any other Indian place ever because why would you want to if the food is not as good? So I would highly suggest you check this place out if you want to try the best Indian/Nepalese restaurant in the area. -Alex

I came here yesterday before catching a Interstellar in IMAX - what. Okay, back to the restaurant. I had the buffet lunch, and it was priced very reasonably per person. The variety of food wasn't extensive, and the quantities in the buffet trays were kept in small amounts. I realized after my second round that this may have been intended to keep the food fresh with a consistent turnover. What they lacked in variety, they made up in churning out good tasting dishes. In addition, the Chai tea, as my friends remarked, was "pretty damn good". I haven't drank much chai tea in the past, but the chai they had here was light - I enjoyed it. As for the owner himself, he was very courteous and friendly. I'll have to come back to try the Momo-s

An enjoyable, flavorful, customizable meal from Curry and Kabob. Definitely my new favorite Indian place! We ordered the chicken masala and chicken vindaloo. With the advice of a fellow yelper, I ordered the vindaloo medium and the chicken masala mild. Even ordered medium, the heat in the vindaloo packed a punch. The meal came with two pieces of naan. Both dishes were so freshly made that as we hungrily dug into it, fiery tendrils of steam came out of Mike's mouth. The chicken vindaloo was fantastic--complex flavors of spices, chilis, tomatoes made a delightful tongue tease. Complemented by the chicken marsala. The creamy, tomato sauce cooled us down in between bites. The perfectly made basmati rice and naan made perfect vessels for the huge, chunky portions of chicken breast we received. Furthermore, they offered excellent customer services. This place is a hidden gem for sure, as we were one of the only diners for dinner. If I didn't have a go-to Indian place, I do now. I'm looking forward to trying the Nepalese dumplings and goat curry. Tips: They have dinner deals (e.g. two chicken entrees w/ naan for $27.00 or 2 veg entrees, etc.). You can enter in the front or back of the store. They have various picnic tables outside perfect for outdoor dining on a nice day.

This restaurant has the best tikka chicken I have ever tasted. Spiced are perfect and the delivery is very fast and professional. Definitely a favorite.

This was our second visit to C&K everything was wonderful. The restaurant was not very crowded on a Friday night but I have the feeling this place is a little undiscovered and I am perfectly fine with keeping it to myself! I started with the chicken momos which were extremely fresh and slightly spicy, with a tangy dipping sauce. For my entree I had the chicken biryani which was perfectly seasoned with cashews and almonds on top with a side of yogurt sauce. The portions were very generous and could have been spilt between two or three people. My two year old daughter had kids chicken nuggets which were good, but she insisted on eating my biryani! The owner was very kind to my daughter, this is an excellent restaurant for children. Not to mention there is a playground right next to the restaurant.

This is one of my favorite places to eat in Columbia. My favorite dish hands down is the seafood vindaloo paired with garlic naan. It's outstanding and is my go-to meal here. The veggie pakora and momo's are also worth highlighting. I've had the Nepali chow mein which was pretty good. I remember it being a bit sweeter than the Chinese version. Oh, and a review of Curry & Kabob would not be complete without mentioning the infamous jungle kabob--it's another GAME CHANGER that was an absolute amazing experience. I eat a lot of middle eastern food, and I've never seen anything like it at any other place else. Curry & Kabob is kind of a sleeper joint...a little gem that not too many folks know about--which is fine by me. There has been a lot of construction going on in the area for the past year, and I remember the owner mentioning a while back that it has affected some business. They have a lunch buffet that has received great reviews--the one thing at this place I have yet to try. Curry & Kabob will deliver and the service is friendly. The prices are also reasonable compared to other Kabob places in the area. Give this place a try when you are craving something different.

Love this place. They'll deliver as far out as Ellicott City. And since it would appear that Long Reach/Pizza & Spice is out of business, there's no reason Curry & Kabob shouldn't be all of Columbia's go-to delivery Indian. Since my first review I've tried a few other menu items and would highly recommend the momos - simply the best around, malai kofta, and the paneer tikka masala. #1 Indian delivery, and in this Yelper's humble opinion, up there with Royal Taj and Mango Grove/Mirchi Wok.

Ordered the momo dumplings and the chicken tikka masala with garlic naan. All were delicious! The tikka masala was a great portion, my husband and I split it for dinner and we still have a little leftover. We will definitely order again!

Not only do they have such delicious food, but amazing service. Our server, I'm not sure if he was the owner, was so adorable and really went out of his way to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. We came towards the end of the buffet so some of the entrees were basically gone, but he had the cooks make us a small batch of each and served it right to our table. And we still got the $10.59 buffet price. I really appreciate restaurants like this one. The food was already worth the trip, but the people just made it a done deal. We will definitely be back soon.

Service, for the most part was spot on and friendly. Our appetizer, freshly, home made dumplings - ground chicken, spiced with fresh cilantro, swimming in a lightly seasoned broth and encased in a tender, chewy noodle wrap, were divine. I didn't care for the accompanying dipping sauce, which was cold and overly sweet. My lamb vindaloo, served in a clay pot, was enough for two meals. A tad too much cream? - something, silkening the sauce and distracting the flavors. This was the same for my hubby's chicken tikka masala - to much cream, lacking that wonderful tomato essence and why was it so overwhelmingly orange? I've never seen such a beautiful hue given to this chicken dish. The garlic nan was mediocre, at best. Name dropping here - one of the best I've ever had was at Tandoor Grill, in Laurel, MD. It arrives piping hot, dripping of butter, ripe with garlic and puffy too.

Please Note: This review of their food is from a grubHub delivery - We did NOT visit the restaurant. Sometimes you just need the hot spicy exotic spices of East India. The soft warming reassurance of Naan bread, the cooling refreshment of a good yoghurt Raita, and the spicy crunchy fun of Papadam. Curry and Kabob delivers it (though a bit slowly) and more! The Chat Papri was amazing - I'm sure it got a bit LESS crispy in the delivery process but we found this app quite addictive and a healthy portion for sharing! Crispy home made chips tossed with cool cucumber, chick peas, tomatoes, diced onion, & cilantro then drizzled with spicy & sweet sauces. YUM! Crave-able! 12 Piece Momo, a Nepali App, was also fantastic! Plump pinched steamed dumplings filled with spices & chicken and served with a wonderfully tangy dipping sauce. Great buy - 12 pot stickers at $8.95! Entree wise we also got Chicken Tikka Masala, which was delish, as well as the Shrimp Tandoori. Sure the bread prices seem higher than local take-aways but they're double sized! One order is really like two! Don't forget to order much needed accompaniments like cool yoghurt Raita 2.95 and crispy Papadam. (Though you get spoiled getting that for free when dining in, don't you?) All in all, we were quite pleased with this order & had leftovers for days!

Not bad, had number 52 and 53. We thought we going to get chunks of meat not sausage style meat, but with that said the food was still delicious. Got the mild and it packed some heat for me. A little pricey but they do give you large portions.

Every dish we have tried has been delicious and the service is great! A lot of authentic taste and no pretense. The Nepali Momo is a perfect starter...super yummy and a real bargain. Tonight we decided this is our favorite local restaurant.

The manager is SUPER AWESOME! He charged my brother for free and is always walking around starting friendly conversations with everybody. The food is perfect, no too spicy and not too salty. Their noodles are to die for!! So is their chicken, their sauce is amazing! It's in buffet-style, but there is a menu. This place is a treasure but it's really hard to find. And don't go through the back door! Since the back door looks like the front, it's confusing. But why let that stop you, this place is a thumbs up!

Good food, huge portions. The last page of the menu lists some combination platters that include a variety of vegetables and some rice pudding for desert, like a personal buffet all on one big tray. The purple three grain mush is not to everyone's liking (extremely bland), so you may want to get rice instead. Their naan didn't wow me.

This place is phenomenal! I didn't have a yelp account before but because this place was so good that I had to review. Excellent price for buffet carry out, wonderful customer service, clean and well organized place, and really tasty vegetarian options with really fresh naan! I will definitely be coming back. Only downside is a bit hard to find.

After seeing glowing reviews, we tried this restaurant for a lunch buffet. Most of the reviewers here are non Indians and no wonder they like the food here as it is more westernized. I am an Indian and I think the food was OK and not great. Probably we should go there for dinner to try other items. But for buffet, most of the items were bland. Will try one more time.

Can't comment on the Indian selections, but the Nepali food is excellent. The style is authentic Thakali, and the service is heavenly. Try the vegetarian Thali, and just about anything else on the Nepali part of the menu. Beware: spicy means spicy. (But they will gladly replace your dish if it is too hot).

How does this restaurant have such good reviews? I had a terrible experience. The lamb kabob was overcooked, the goat curry barely had meat on the huge bone pieces, and their chicken tikka masala was just okay. And their naan... Wow their naan was awful. I ordered their assorted bread, which came with three types of naan. There is absolutely no difference between the three. We were completely ripped off.
