Disclaimer: I have never been to the store front but only the kiosk in Columbia Mall (on the bottom by Lucky Jeans across from the Childrens Place). That being said I LOVE THIS STORE. I have a major sweet tooth and a supreme weakness for cupcakes. They're miniature cakes, what else could you want in life!?!?!?!? Anyway, I swear by the Cookie Dough except for some black creme/mousse filling in the direct center this is what I dream about, and that's just because I don't like that. I love how they have so many to choose from and the employees are usually very knowledgeable about the different kinds. They are always attentive whenever people walk up without being pushy like some kiosks, and I've never seen them with dirty counters or anything like that. Yes the cupcakes are a little pricey but they are much larger with so much delicious icing and totally worth it!

I cannot confirm or deny that I've ever been here or eaten their cupcakes (my trainer could be reading this). But from my my nose and taste buds recall, this place is nothing but sugary caloric temptation. This place is one of the main reasons why I no longer go into the mall (no self control). It's delicious and they are sooo beautifully decorated. I promise you. Everything here is just delicious. NOTE: This is not the NYC store, they do not bake the goods here. No baking is done here at all. It's just a satellite location/ stand. Understand what that means. What I love best is that they carry the MASH sodas that I fell in love with when I used to work in NYC. So, come here, smell all you want and if you must, buy one (as a gift). Just don't eat one. Never eat one. You won't be able to stop and you'll dream about them and you'll need a 12 step program to wean yourself off of them. (true story... Kinda)

A crumbs in MD! Impressive. The set up is nice, right in the middle of the mall near the main escalators. Appreciate the employees who will patiently tell you what's in/around/topping every flavor cupcake. (The names are obscure so they are hard to figure out on your own. Cupcakes: huge and pricey ($4 each?!) One is more than enough for 2 people to share for a snack. Cake itself was a little bit dry. Frosting is a bit sugary and gritty, but I loved the filling. Had the milkshake (marble cake with milk filling and vanilla frosting, bits of Oreo) and the simple vanilla with chocolate frosting.

Only crumbs store so far, in Maryland. It's located in the Columbia mall, lower level in front of Forever 21. Actual cupcake: I bought the Elvis (my favorite) and it wasn't bad. Yes, I phrase it that way because it's not the best I've had, but then again, I could see myself occasionally buying it again because the location is convenient. The cupcake itself is a little too big for my taste ($4.95) and the frosting is an overload, too much, too sweet, and too heavy. I do like the mini peanut butter chips on top though. Service: The best part was listening to one of the employees cite the flavors/toppings of any cupcake you ask for. She's amazing, and mad props. Reminds me of one of those commercials where at the end they ramble on about certain disclosures at like 1000 words per min (exaggerating of course). The cashier lady was very unenthusiastic and just did not smile... All in all, glad it opened up in the columbia mall, but then again, totally not good for my workout gym phase.

Located on the lower level in the middle of the mall by the escalators, Crumbs is sure to please. I was elated to see Columbia mall has cupcakes worthy of 5 stars. Be warned the cupcakes here are HUGE, and you'll have a difficult time deciding which cupcake to get, but you can't go wrong. My favorite is the good guy, which is a funfetti cake with a vanilla buttercream icing. The devils food cake is amazing as well. Crumbs has mini samplers where you can try about 12 various flavors in mini cupcake form for $20. It's a great way to start!

These people do cupcakes RIGHT!!! This whole cupcake dad has gotten out-of-control. Everyone and their brother think they can make a cupcake stacked high with overly sugary frosting and charge you $5. These cupcakes are AWESOME! I got a cannoli cupcake with a mini cannoli on top. I was pleased that the cannoli shell was still hard despite being on too of a frosted cupcake. The cupcake itself was a moist Texas sized cupcake with the PERFECT amount of frosting. It was totally worth the nearly $5 I paid for it!!

Yum.... definitely the best cupcake I've ever had! I had the Apple Cobbler. It was HUGE, and took me two days to eat. My fiance' had the Raspberry Swirl, and is still working on his, after 2 days. What a variety! They even had a PB & J cupcake, which the cashier told me was VERY good. Great customer service and fantastic cupcakes.

The employees were very friendly, the cupcakes were the best I've ever had and the selection was simply overwhelming. We had the Apple pie and White Chocolate Blueberry. I think we downed both in about 5 minutes. Yes, these behemoths are $4 but their HUGE -- way larger than the normal cupcake. Now I don't know what that other reviewer was talking about, but these cakes were definitely not dry. The icing was definitely not sugary and the price is totally justifiable. I wish I didn't have to go to the mall just to eat a cupcake but I'm assuming that Crumbs will eventually spread beyond the mall and occupy its own storefront. It deserves it. I just hope things remain on the up and up for this hidden gem.

Some if the very best cupcakes I've ever had! Ever. I've had then in DC as well, this little setup is lacking in freshness compared to other bake shop locations, yet still excellent, moist, flavorful, full of variety cupcakes!! Our favorite!

I have such a sweet tooth however I think some of these cupcakes are too sweet for me. But the flavors are YUM. They have so many different choices. My boyfriend is obsessed with these cupcakes! I had the pumpkin one and it was delicious.

Sooo happy I don't have to drive all the way to DC for these cupcakes anymore! Delicious can never go wrong. Red velvet and carrot cake are to die for. Try it you won't regret it. For the size, quality and satisfaction it's well worth the price

I rarely give any place five stars, but these cupcakes are gems! Moist, the icing isn't overwhelmingly sweet, they actually have different flavored icings for each type of cake, which some bakeries don't do a good job of. Yes, most of the cupcakes are huge but there are a few normal sized flavors too. We tried apple crumb, cookie dough, milkshake, and french toast. My mom went crazy over these and is going back tomorrow. Yum, yum go get yourself some of these. I rate them higher than all the previous cupcakeries I have been to.

I just ate one of the best lemon cupcakes. Ever. The person behind the counter described it perfectly. It was moist, but not too sweet. I only intended to eat half of it, but that was before I took my first bite. This place is a definite must try. And it's very impressive that the sales people truly know the flavor profiles for every single cupcake.

I've been wanting to go to Crumbs for a while. Got a dozen variety pack just to try them out. My favorite was the Apple Cobbler cupcake. Never seen that type of cupcake anywhere else. They are HUGE and very tasty. Quick service too.
