Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

Pretty bad experience here. I eat at Chipotle a lot and this one was very disappointing. I've never stood more than 5 or 10 minutes in a Chipotle line in my life, but this wait was well over twenty minutes, and I've stood in longer lines at other Chipotle locations before. The staff is pretty lethargic no matter how big the line is. When I got my food it was pretty standard for the restaurant. It was mostly fine. The guacamole though had two very large pieces of the avocado peel in it that was quite unpleasant to discover. In general, rather awful customer service but decent food. I will strive to patronize other Chipotle locations in the future.

They suck in this location period!

I love this place. Always fresh, fast, and delicious.

Always fresh, fast, and delicious. Whatever you love about Chipotle is here....this location is no different.

Not going to lie the line can get long at times but it's a mall Chipotle and they make all the food to order. Use your brain download the app order online and there you go. This place also has a smaller to go tobasco sauce selection. Needless to say it's still Chipotle and I haven't had a bad bowl from here so I say get your Chipotle on.

This is ridiculous, I've been in line for 45 min and they only got through 4 orders. The food portions were also lacking, the are so conservative with the servings that I literally had to yell more (x5) for everything... I understand that Chipotle is popular and good but this place puts a bad name to it because of the lack of speed and servings. They need more people working the line and getting through orders faster. Until that problem is fixed I won't be returning to this Chipotle ever again.

It's a Chipotle. Been to one, been to them all. Except this one is in a food court. In a mall. Wait... what? Yup, this Chipotle is in the Columbia Mall, nestled between McDonald's and Panda Express. It has everything you'd expect of Chipotle except for a few things. Getting the Tabasco sauce is a pain because they're usually scattered in the food court. I also don't know if they refill your drinks (even if they could, I don't know if you'd want to deal with the long line). Which brings me to the next point... the line here is always super long for some reason. If you're in a rush, especially around lunch or dinner time, expect to wait a while. Oh, and there's always inevitably someone in front of you who waits in line for ten minutes and then when it is time for them to order, they have no idea what they want.... Don't be that person! People will hate you. Seriously. Just don't do that okay? :P

I love chipotle. I admit it is a problem. But that being said, this location is always super slow! The line is always snaked past the poor Chinese Restaraunt that is always empty and the employees there just stare at you and you have to try hard not to make eye contact because it's really sad. Anyway, this chipotle always seems to run out of rice or beans and it holds up the line. I go with people who get their food from some other place in the food court. By the time I get my food, they are done their whole meal.

Almost all Chipotles are the same. So there isn't much to write about here except for the fact that this one is located at the food court inside Columbia mall. Located all the way at the end of the food court (depending on which side you enter from) and right next to McDonald's. This place gets packed during the lunch time rush. So get here early! Once a line is formed then expect to stand in it for a while. Unlike most other Chipotles this one moves slow. Very slow. There have been times when they get busy and run out of rice or chicken and poorly communicate with the cook to have a batch ready. So make sure you have a backup just in case they run out of what you want!

Been loving chipotle since high school. Missing the 5 dollar burrito days especially after moving to NYC where I can't get away without paying almost 10 dollars for a meal. Always fresh and love that you can always ask for extra salsa, corn, etc. For 6.95 I got my vegetarian salad with a water to go - a steal so I get in my chipotle fix whenever I'm home!

This is the Chipotle in the Columbia Mall food court: Small portion of chips. Can't take bottle of tabasco to your table. But no loud music ! :)
(3)Ryan D.
The burrito was very good and filling. Ask for the quesadilla burrito it's not on the menu but it's the way to go. This is not the easiest place to get to because it's inside the mall. By the time you park, walk inside, wait in line and get your food it's about a 30 minute process. Prices are very affordable for the amount of food you get.

Yeah....Chipotle in Columbia Mall. This is the first Chipotle I have seen list children's meals on their menu. Always a line, but always worth it - located in food court at the mall - use the entrance near LLBean/Sears for quickest entry.

Fast and delicious. I crave it sometimes.

Great food, fast service, what's not to like. Dobbin road location: avoid. Mall -they totally have their act together. If you like Chipotle or Mexican, you can't go wrong at this location.

After waiting over 10 minutes for the line to move only 5 people --- I was already a bit frustrated. That said, it appeared they may have been trying to train some new folks. But the thing that really was disappointing was the cockroach I saw crawling on the floor in plain view. Needless to say, I excused myself from the line. This could be an isolated insistent --- but I have a feeling that the restaurants on that side of the food court may have bigger issues. I'll give this Chipotle another try when I am back in town -- and hopefully Orkin would have stopped by.

The food is always good here but it is by far the slowest chipotle I have ever been to. The service is horrible. It takes them 10 mins to handle five customers. They need to train the staff much better.
(3)Mary M.
I'd give this place 5 stars for the food... But the line is always out of control! I work near the mall and often WANT Chipotle but as soon as I see the line I go somewhere else.
(2)Oscar A.
Food is consistantly good. Ever since there was change of managerment/staff line lacks speed and motivation.
(3)Kam K.
the only chipotle that i visit thats located in a mall food court but im very pleased with the staff & food. the ingredients always good & i don't have any complaints. i normally expect a line due to the location but overall i am pleased with this location!

As a Chipotle regular (predominantly in NC and TX), I've become familiar with the service, food, and timing (eg wait). This had to be by far the worse experience at a Chipotle I've had, purely due to poor service, with the food notice different than the norm. For some reason the service line was crowded by 6 people (none in training), couple of workers were arguing in front on customers, another argued with the customer, while the cashier responded with "whoa, really?" when I asked for 3 bags of chips which clearly violated some unspoken Chipotle rule. If in the area, spare yourself the attitude and go to Cosi next door.

I eat at this Chipotle all the time because I love Chipotle and I work nearby so it is a lunch break regular spot for me... First things first- half the staff is wonderful, sweet and helpful and they keep the line moving fast. Thanks guys- we appreciate how hard you work. The OTHER half of the staff is rude, slow and they love putting ingredients that you didn't ask for in your bowl. One girl always goes to scoop white rice when I asked for brown and twice now she has smothered my bowl in hot salsa when I said "no thank you" to the salsa. There's another girl the other day who asked me a question, then as I was responding she turned to make a joke to her friend then looked back at me and asked the question again. I was floored, what horrible manners for someone who works in service. If she were my employee and I saw that I would ask her why she didn't apologize and coach her some manners! To be fair, we know they have challenges being a mall location- they're ALWAYS busy- but they have a few people there who need to step up their game. Oh and the manager lady, the Latino woman who seems to be keeping everyone on task, is great. Line goes faster when she's there.

This is the worst chipotle I have ever been to by far! Very slow service and I have never been to a chipotle that was out of items and today this restaurant had run out brown rice which I waited 10 minutes for. I also ordered a salad only to get to the register and find out that they have no salad dressing! I would have ordered a burrito if they had told me when I asked for a salad that there was no dressing. Then they had no chipotle Tabasco by the condiment station and I had to wait for them to get another bottle. Meanwhile there was only one person in line and it seemed like even that was overwhelming for the 5 people working behind the counter.

I love Chipotle. I wish they would put one in Clarksville. Not much to write - if you've been there, you know; if you haven't and you like Mexican food at all, what are you waiting for?
