Burger or Hamburger is savored as the most desired fast food meal in the United States. A hamburger is basically a sandwich prepared by stuffing ground meat patty, generally beef, between two slices of a bun cut in half. Hamburger is also famous for its seasoning. Most popular condiments used in hamburgers in the United States are mustard, mayonnaise, and ketchup. Besides ground meat patty, hamburgers are also stuffed with lettuce, onions, tomato slices, pickles, and cheese.
Hamburgers are also categorized into two types in the United States. Fast food hamburger and individual hamburgers served at restaurants are two basic types of burgers served in the United States. The individual hamburgers served at restaurants are prepared using everything including lettuce, onion, tomato, and sliced pickles as well as melted cheese on the patty or crumbled on top. American restaurants also serve veggie burgers for those who don't relish meat. Cheeseburgers are also hot favorite in the United States.
McDonalds is the most popular fast food burger restaurant serving different types of burgers in the United States. On the other hand, there are several restaurants such as Burger King are famous for serving the best hamburgers in the United States. Does anyone really ever need to review this DC area mainstay? Come on. The smell of their fries alone deserves 5 stars.

I haven't had Five Guys in at least a year, but when you crave a burger and don't have a car, your options are pretty limited as a college student. Today, I decided to give this location a try. For those of you who haven't tried Five Guys before, the concept is simple - you choose between the type of burger (hamburger, cheeseburger, bacon burger, or veggie) and then add free toppings from a huge variety of choices (grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, ketchup, mustard, A-1, etc.). There's free roasted peanuts at the front. I highly recommend getting an order of cajun fries too - even the "little" portion equates to a portion of medium fries at McDonalds.. it's a great deal and provides a kick of flavor. The food is prepped quickly and each burger actually has TWO patties, which is amazing. I stopped eating Five Guys last time because the meat was too dry, but my burger today was cooked perfectly. No complaints at all. So glad to have regained my love for this place and can't wait to come back!

Poor service. Not clean. I ordered a soda, and the soda machine had maybe two types of soda available. This place is overrated.

The University of Maryland would be naked without its neighboring Five Guys. As you know, it's just another edition of the Five Guys Burger and Fries chain which happily populates the mid-Atlantic. The location is incredible. As long as you don't get hit by cars crossing the road, you can stumble across the street from UMD into this place. As is the case with all Five Guys, you get the free peanuts and a fresh burger with a super high quantity of fries. Interestingly, some members of the Five Guys chain have stopped loading bags with fries as they used to, and this one has reduced their dumping of fries into bags a little bit. They first put your fries in the cup, and then have a metal scooper that they use to calculate the rest they are going to put in. It's still more fries than most people could ever finish. The wait times here are pretty great, I've been to Five Guys where I had to wait far longer for my food. The prices are fine, you're looking at about $9.50 for reg fries and a little bacon cheeseburger. That's pretty standard. Sometimes this place is disastrously messy. I once came in here and the floor was COATED with peanut shells. I'm not exaggerating. There were shells in every square inch of the place. It was actually hilarious so I didn't care. I also wondered how it was possible. But either way, I rarely actually eat here (I get it to go) so the cleanliness doesn't matter so much to me. Remember that you can order your burger online so that you can come in, pick it up, and pay.

I know people love Five Guys (including Barack Obama), but I left there waiting for a heart attack to strike. My burger was fine. I've had better burgers at McDonalds to be quite honest. The part that really turned me off were the fries. They put them in a brown paper bag so you get to see all the grease you're consuming. If this proof isn't enough, you can pick up one of the wet slices of potato and see/feel for yourself. The only thing I like about Five Guys is the free peanuts.

I generally love Five Guys. This particular location is one I would stay the fuck away from in the future. Went here on a Saturday at 1pm. First thing I notice is an irate gentleman arguing with the cashier, says he hasn't gotten his burger for 20 minutes and wants his money back. Cashier says sorry they've been slammed, his burger is coming right away. Then I notice that the cashier has white crap on his fingers. It might be mayonnaise but seriously, pretty damn nasty to watch this guy while he takes my order and calls it in. Store is a mess and a half, another bad sign. Despite them not being particularly slammed anymore, still takes a long time (close to 20 minutes, long enough for me to have a long conversation with the guy next to me in line about his life story and his children's college aspirations). Unlike most locations they offer a 'small' size fries (in addition to regular and large), which I order. They basically give you a teeny-tiny 8oz cup full of fries, then dump more into the bag. Seriously?? You can't just give me the regular size cup full (without dumping two more scoops into the bag that the regular size normally entails). And then, last straw, I started to feel ill about 45 minutes after lunch. Since the burgers and fries are both fried in oil, my guess is that the ice machine was filthy dirty and my soda was the culprit. It's the kind of place you wouldn't be surprised to find out had sub-par cleaning.

I've been a long-time Five Guys fan, and this new-ish franchise location doesn't disappoint. DECOR: It's the same red-white scheme at every Five Guys. No fine-dining here. SERVICE: Order up, someone shouts it to the back in Spanish. That's about it. FOOD: Delicious burgers. You get more than you think, which might be why we're all fat, so just starve yourself for the day in order to eat here. Perfectly cooked bacon, it's always nice and crispy. My favorite is the seasoned fries, but the seasoning is potent if you have a sensitive palate. It's more expensive than Mc Donald's, but I suspect despite the huge portions it's healthier for you.

I love Five Guys, but this location in College Park seems different. The burgers are good, but I don't think they're making their french fries right. They seem dried out and unappetizing. My suspicions were confirmed when I ate at a Five Guys location in Ohio last week, and the french fries there were good. What's up with that?

Generally I'm a fan of Five Guys. Their cajun fries are great. Today in College Park, though, I asked whether I could get a veggie burger. "Sure, what do you want on it?" I was asked. Well, turns out that I got a bun with the condiments I'd asked for. When I took it back, I was told that's what a five guys veggie burger entailed. What kind of cruel trick is that?

Delicious but deadly. Eating a burger and fries here gives you nearly your daily intake of calories. But you cant deny that it tastes great. You only need to order one fries for two maybe three people, otherwise your just clogging your arteries after your already full. They get a 4 on taste and a 2 on healthiness.

Not sure how this place can get a bad review, unless you hate loads of greasy food (I suppose that happens sometimes...). Been here a couple of times before and the experience is always positive. Reasons to love this place: - Put as many toppings as you want on your burger for free - They give you a huge, and I mean huge, portion of fries. Who doesn't like a leftover snack? - Peanuts for free while you wait Recommendations: - I like to get the little burger, since the portion is just fine and they give you so many fries anyway. No use in ordering the big burger when you're going to have leftovers anyway - Ask for a cup of water instead of ordering a drink. You can refill as much as you want. - Mix and match toppings. Try something new each time. You never know when you're going to stumble upon something delicious.

It's cool that they throw in a bunch of toppings for free, but I have 2 complaints: 1) Not enough salt 2) Fries don't travel well

This is the East Coast version of In-and-Out burgers from CA on steriods... The burger was fully loaded with almost everything but the kitchen sink. It had 2 patties, with cheese, bacon, onions, mushrooms, lettuce, pickles and tomatoes... They cooked it well-done, but it was still very juicy. The cajan fries are amazing and soft... FYI, they don't carry ranch, hot sauce yes, but ranch no... Crazy right...

Five Guys is a short walk from the couple of bars near the UMD campus which makes for a perfect post happy hour stop. The burgers were delicious but...pretty average. The fact that you can customize with a ton of toppings and they have piles of free whole peanuts to snack on while you wait makes up for it.

I've been to many places looking for a tasty, genuine and nearly healthy American burger. After vising the University of Maryland, I was told by one of the people there that Five Guys is a must! I did not like the inner lay of the store, or the seating. But I forgot everything I disliked when I had my first bite. The fries are great, the burger is extra huge and you get a free refill on soft drinks! All in all, tasty food and you can even help yourself to peanuts. Peanuts are in boxes everywhere around this store.

Hiked prices over other Five Guys. Comparable food.

Lloyd Rocks! He's the Manager!! He made me feel really good cuz I wasn't feeling well!!

Their burgers are pretty good for fast food burgers (especially since there's no Steak'n'Shake around here), and since the toppings are free, you should really go nuts with those. They give you a TON of fries, but it's kind of ridiculous since they're so pricey and you end up with a ridiculous amount left over. Why not a kids' size? Don't expect anything else from them, though - burgers and fries are all you get on the menu. I wish they were open a lot later.

This was not in College Park when I went to school back in the day. Come to think of it...that was almost 10 years ago. Gulp. In any case, was looking for some quick food, and this is where we ended up. Apparently, this is a chain, but I have never heard of it. But anyhow, I got a mini cheeseburger and an order of fries. The cheeseburger was decent. You can have any topping you would like on it, all free of charge. I also had jalapenos on mine, so it had a welcoming kick. I couldn't even finish the mini burger, so I wonder what you do with the full size burger, I guess you could probably feed a village. They also have a box of peanuts close to the counter, so I guess thats their trademark, eat some peanuts while you wait for your food to be ready. You can not eat this kind of a meal daily, but, when you feel malnourished or lack protein, or just ran a marathon, this is the place for you :)
