Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

GREAT pizza! Especially if you have to feed a large group of people. Pudgie's pizza reminds me of my childhood in upstate NY - It is sheet style pizza that is well put together and tastes incredible! It's kind of like a smaller sized sicilian pie cut into squares--my favorite kind of style. In response to the challenged person below, no, spiedie sauce is not anything like marinara---has an italian salad dressing taste, only better. If you're interested in learning about what a spiedie is, and how awesome they are, go here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sp… Spiedies are a hugely popular food of the upstate NY southern tier region. I don't know why they haven't caught up down south, but maybe one day...

Decent pizza, very good even. Greasy but not outrageously so. Two slices and a sixteen ounce soda for under $5 is a great value. Yes, the service is terrible but it is a carryout pizza shop not a gourmet restaurant, deal with it. The employees aren't unfriendly, they are just clueless high school kids. I would definitely go back if in the area and looking for a quick snack. It isn't the best pizza I have ever had but it is much better than Pizza Hut, and for the area that is good enough to merit four stars.

My husband and I decided to check out this place for a snack after I had my nails done at the nail place next door. The staff is really young (like basically all high schoolers), friendly, but had trouble answering our questions about the menu (like what is spiedie sauce? apparently just regular marinara). they had no problems finding other people who knew the answer though, so that was helpful. we ended up getting two slices of pizza (boneless chicken wing) + fountain drink for $4.95, which is a great deal! the pizza had a lot of meat on it (bonus) and the sauce was tasty, but the crust was super greasy and hard, maybe from sitting out for awhile? the soda machine wasn't working when my husband went to get a refill and a manager saw it and fixed it right away. we'd definitely go back again if we were in the area, and try a fresh pizza (rather than slices that have been sitting out).

This is really 4 stars but I am giving it 5 to compensate for the confused reviewers here. First, the service. Clarksville is a laid back town with a family-oriented environment. The staff is mostly high schoolers, they are very friendly and willing but can cross your orders or lack the polish of professional waiters. So don't go about expecting world-class service; personally I find the staff good and ready to help. The wings are the best in the area, crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. I suspect they use off the shelf franks hot wing sauce, fine by me. My kids love it. The pizza crust is amazing. The cheese tastes fresh and has a healthy elasticity to it. This is the only place where I eat the edges as well. The hot wing pizza is good. The veggie pizza has very generous toppings that are fresh. The pizza is not oily like at some places. The final test for any pizza. The heated left overs the next day still retained the moist crust and the favors. We literally fight over them :-) Our family was here three times in the past month and this is the best place in town. We have been to both Ledo's and the local Pizza Hut. Pudgie's is now our weekly go-to place for pizza.

I always love Pudgies. They are a bit pricier than other pizza in the area, but I think you get more bang for the buck. I haven't tried any other food items, though I saw someone eating a Philly Cheesesteak that looked delicious. Always five stars!

I have only tried their subs so I can only speak on that. I never dine-in I always get carryout. Their Italian cold cut subs are good. I had their cheesesteak sub as well. It was good but I have had better. Their bread is always fresh and good.

I came after the lunch rush on a Wednesday. Place was clean, restroom was clean, staff was friendly and polite.

The management is poor. The manager there is a bit rude. Service is everything especially when you are serving a product that can be bought on any street. The only reason I give one star is because the location is close to my house.

Terrible experience. Picked up three subs and when I got home, after two bites, my wife's steak and cheese had a disgusting hair hanging out of it. When I called to let them know what had happened, there was no offer of compensation, in fact, they hung up on me.

Grew up going to pudgies in NY. I love Pudgies! Seriously cannot find any other pizza in MD that I like. So glad they opened one here.

Parking is limited .. as it's a shared parking lot with a wine/beer place + nail salon etc. Service is awful too. Bunch of high school students working the cash register. When asked what kind of bread the sub is on .. or what kind of cheese is on the meatball sub or ... what kind of fries (if any) comes with the entree... it was a broken record of "I dont knows". Pudgie's Pizza in Clarksville off of 108 please train your staff better. Hot Meatball Sub was ($7.49) a waste of $7.49 IMO. Bread too hard and Meatballs luke warm.

This place used to have great service. Came in on a week night at 8:00pm and the workers were so busy trying to clean up, I stood there a good 2-3 mins. Before he even acknowledge me at the counter. I used to like coming here, not anymore! He forgot to give us cups to self serve our drinks, he forgot 1 order of fries and we couldn't even sit in the dining area we had to sit in the waiting area. Also, while we were waiting for our food we saw guys playing catch with some kind of rolled paper or trash in the kitchen. Never coming here again!

I have tried them 3 times, ordering subs and pizza. The subs have very little meat on them and are served with no chip or fries. These are a bit pricey as well. The pizza is ok, but I would rather go right down the road and get Ledo's. I think all the people from upstate NY are remembering their childhood when rating Pudgies, rather than rating this particular location. I find it ok, at best, and pricey for what you get.

I enjoyed the food here the few times I have had it. They have unique pizzas and other side dishes. Online ordering also works very well. Parking is not the greatest situation and the restaurant is a little pricey, but fits in with the area.

Love Pudgies. There pizza is always fresh (when delivered) and tasty. The wings are amazing. Every time friends from out of town visit they beg to go to Pudgies. Very quick services (for delivery).

On time delivery and good pizza. Good ingredients. I thought the cheese was higher quality than most chains. Tasty leftovers, hot or cold. Better than I expected, better than most other chains.
