I like this place. Prompt service and reasonable prices. I recommend the steak salad. My steak was cooked perfectly medium.

Go figure only I would go to a rib place and order fried chicken! Was a special so I tried it and was great! Crunch outside and moist and tender inside. Also slight hint of Old Bay in the crust (it is Maryland after all). Mashed potatoes and cucumber salad both strong as well. Nice big flat screen to watch the game as well along with other small ones. Also more reasonable price compared to the seafood places on other side of the waterway.

I have actually planned my dinner nights out to make it to Adams for meatloaf night, or turkey dinner night. It's home cooking, comfort food almost like Mom makes it. And the ribs are great, they ought to be. Since I enjoy the bar atmosphere, I'll sit there and enjoy the company of the bartenders who are attentive and convivial. A local winner.

We had a great dinner here this past week when we were in town for a family visit. For drinks, I tried the dark and stormy, it was well mixed, spicy sweet ginger beer with smooth rum. My husband tried a beer tasting flight of local brews. It was great fun to try different local beers. For starters we had the hot crab dip and crab sliders. Having grown up on the water in Annapolis, I am a crab snob. The Adam's crab dip was full of lump crab dip, a great mix of cheese and a but of spice, super yummy. The mini crab cakes on the sliders were also great, all crab and just a touch of breading, with a sweet soft roll, lettuce and tomato and a nice sauce. For my dinner, I had bar-b-q shrimp entree which I enjoyed. The shrimp were big and tender and smothered in tasty sauce. My husband had a big ol rack of ribs which he quickly put away.

So Adam's has re-branded themselves from Adam's Ribs to Adam's Taphouse Grille. In the process, they have taken the menu down a few notches in terms of variety of offerings and positioned themselves less as a unique specialty restaurant and more into the brass-and-fern type of restaurant. Outside of a downsizing in the menu, not much has really changed. I was never fond this particular outlet in Grasonville, the food simply wasn't up to the same level as the Adam's in Edgewater. I can't say that I honestly do not understand their changes in the re-branding effort - they have moved more in line to be like every other restaurant in terms of menu offierings and the food isn't good. It's not that it's bad - it just isn't good. The BBQ is spotty - sometimes it's ok, sometimes its just awful. The wings are your run of the mill chicken wings with no real distinguishing characeristics. The chips and dip - which used to come covered in black salt are now just your average service grade chips. Again, it's not bad - the food has just been dumbed down to the absolute lowest common denominator. Adam's is largely forgettable - there is nothing about the food or the dining experience that stands out. if you want BBQ, then It's the Pits in Chester does it better. I have a feeling that the next name change is going to be "Out of Business" - there is just nothing unique or compelling to justify a trip here.

Always a fan of the Adam's Rib restaurants. It's a must you get the wings. Great hot sauce on them and good quality wings (big). We enjoyed the crab dip here and they give you two nice loafs of bread to enjoy it. Ask for additional Old Bay to add a kick. Was disappointed with their On Tap selection this time around but they have a nice sampler option. One negative was the tap water smelled and tasted like sulphur. Nice wait staff and clean and modern restaurant.

Ask for the bar menu - there are some items on this menu that some may find more appealing if you don't care for ribs/chicken/BBQ. I enjoy the freshness of their veggies and their balsamic dressing is delicious. Their service and food seems to be consistent as I visit often and enjoy all types of entrees. Don't forget to get the cinnamon butter with your sweet potato and warm rolls.

The word "Ribs" is in their name, so ribs should be the star. It wasn't. It obviously was not the BBQ feast I envisioned, slow cooked and a low temperature over wood. Nope, it was boiled. Huh? What? Yup, I said it. It was boiled then slathered with an inadequate flavored BBQ sauce. Disappointing. The only reason they didn't get a lower rating is because their sandwiches are good, but not great. Should be renamed, the Place for Sandwiches.

Awesome place to grab a bite. Extremely cozy and local. I will definitely return. Try their crab dip, it comes with a generous portion of toasted bread and their steak salad is great. I wish I lived closer to this place but this will be my spot after a long day of shopping at the Queenstown outlets.

Ribs were very tender, falling right off the bone. Service was quick and server was pleasant. Will definitely go back.

I just hosted a golf tournament for 104 golfers. Fantastic! Served lunch and dinner. Lunch was dogs and sausages with peppers and chips. Pork BBQ , grilled chicken and bourbon beef brisket was served for dinner along with potato salad and cole slaw for dinner. All was served on time and plenty of it. Lunch was still available at the turn for the most part of the day. Perfect for my hungry golfers. Then at dinner the majority was up and filling their plates with seconds. When acknowledging Adams all joined with a huge applause. Happy golfers come back to tournaments. Job well done.

Meh. I've experienced better.

Went by here on a lark. Service was slow to start - everyone just having a great old time and ignoring customers. Once they got back to work it was better. The food was average at best. I won't be going back.

Eh. Adam's is passable when you want something to eat and just want to not be hungry. It's nothing great. The food is obviously prepared early in the morning, the beef is never hot, always halfway warm. Avoid at all costs the "wing of the week" 99% of the time it is disgusting, some guy in the back dumps some random seasoning in buffalo sauce and serves it. Trust me, if you want BBQ.. THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO.

Ribs seem average to me. Havnt figured out what makes them special yet. And the rest of the menu isn't exciting either.

Wonderful food, and extremely generous portions. And it's not just their ribs that are good. Delicious specials, salads, and more. Our waitress (pink cast) had a delightful personality and was great to interact with. She was very attentive and our food was prepared quickly. For what it is, it deserves 4 stars. We'll be sure to return here next time we visit Maryland.

Ok, nothing to write home about. In my case, that's a good thing. Three times now, my parents have invited me to join them at Adam's Ribs. I don't understand why they keep going back. It's ok. And I mean just ok. The food isn't bad, it just isn't anything special. The friendly staff bumped my review up from a two star to a three star.
