The food is awesome. The ambience is fine -- it's loud, but it's to be expected at an establishment that seems to cater to a younger crowd. This is not fine dining. The service is mediocre and cost this restaurant a star. The crap soup, with a beef broth base, disappeared in minutes. The key lime chicken wings were amazing and hit the spot. Each pound of chicken wings come with five full wings (all three sections). If I ever come back to Stoked, I may just insist that we order wings for each person at the table because it's hard to want to share! We also had the crab pizza, which was highly recommended by the manicurist at the Hyatt Regency, and it was divine. The only downside was the service. It took forever for our food to come out -- there was at least 15 minutes between each dish. My boyfriend dropped his fork pretty early in the meal, and we had so much trouble getting our server's attention that we decided to finish the meal sharing my fork. The server never swung by to check up on how the food was or how we were doing after the chicken wings were served. I stayed in Cambridge, MD, for two days, and Stoked served up my favorite meal by far.

This is a Beer hall-designed restaurant that features Wood-Fired food and a great daily special Chalkboard for eats and drinks. I could smell its' wonderful aroma walking up to the place. There are Pizzas, wings, sandwiches, fish entrees, craft beer and creative cocktails. Ordered the traditional Pepperoni Pizza, which was decent, a bit on the greasy side, but not too bad. Bourbon Wings were cooked perfect but I didn't really pick up any of the Bourbon (sauce) taste until the end. Had a Samuel Adams Merry Maker Gingerbread Stout to drink. Our server was prompt, friendly and helpful in giving us directions to the easiest way back to Route 50. I'm glad I tried the place and wonder what their more creative Pizzas & Wings are like. That, and Craft Beer will make me come back if I'm ever in the area again.

The atmosphere and look of this place is nice and fun! The big wall with menu items is a really neat idea. Service was good. The food however is why my rating is low. The Food is way over priced for the amount the serve. All thought the Risotto cakes were tasty, we only got 3 for $12. They were bite size. My Dip sandwich had less than a quarter of s pound of beef. The crab cake my wife had was a ton of filler. He other two items weren't worth talking about. Our bill was $85, I left a $16 tip for our waitress but we will not return until we hear the menu has been corrected for portion size, taste and quality.

really cool spot in downtown cambridge. Not really a place you would expect in Cambridge tho...more like a big city place. Great open kitchen, everyone's super friendly, and the menu options are awesome! I mean there's georgia peach wings, and peanut butter and jelly wings! Creative chef....the vibe is great, they have a huge selection of craft beers and the decor is very inviting. The wings were good and i was hugely disappointed because they were out of the peanut butter and jelly wings

Great environment, wonderful staff and most importantly great food. The risotto cakes were delish and so was the calamari . Pizza is filling got the crab pizza and added topping for very reasonable. Excellent date night in our backyard.

Can't go along with previous reviews only because the whole expedience counts. The entrées were very good--solid wood over pizza and a few pasta dishes. But my goodness what a wait with 10 tables and at least 9 wait and service staff I could ID. ?? Bizarre. The meal took 2 hours for no reason. At all. Staff apologized which is appreciated but left us high and dry for an evening. Also strange: - they comped us a dessert for our delay. ... but the free sundae had no ice cream because they were "out" - our waiter seemed to saunter about chatting while other waitstaff were engaged - it took 20 min between placing a drink order and delivery - no side order options for kids. ... All out of options - as suspected, all the other servers' tables were in and out and enjoyed in reasonable time. ... We were last left Good potential. Needs improvement.

Perhaps the only restaurant in Cambridge that isn't overpriced. Fantastic food at a relatively affordable cost. I had their french dip panini. Excellent, and a good bar to boot.

Nice open atmosphere, but all of the high top tables is not very accomondating for meals. The pizza was alright, but not to the standards of what I would expect from a place dedicated to brick oven pizzas. The dough was very buttery with little sauce. I also ordered the siracha honey wings. The sauce was great, but the execution was poor. The wings were very large and not crispy. My kids each got a kids meal, and the staff went out their way to make them comfortable. They enjoyed their meals complete with cookie and fruit in a cafeteria style separated tray.

Went to Stoked to get a bite to eat and watch the game. Cute place--neighborhood a little sketchy but that just may be the town. Had wings and house pizza as they were both half price on Sunday. Wings were good but didn't have a lot of sauce, which I personally prefer. Also, they serve the entire wing, not each part. The pizza is baked in a fire oven. Tons of cheese and a little doughy. I prefer a little less cheese and a crispy crust so this wasn't my cup of tea. The menu here looked really good so I would be willing to come back and try again. For me, I wouldn't have the wings or pizza again.

Went there for an earlier dinner on a Saturday, and tried the risotto cake appetizer; tastes like awesome! We also had the crab pizza with lump crab meat, alfredo sauce, garlic, and a bit of old bay. It was really good, a crab cake and a pizza! Even the blackberry tea had blackberry puree giving it a fresh and not syrupy flavor. We ended the meal with the peach crisp that was just o.k. ... not bad, not great, but o.k. Price wise, two non-alcoholic drinks, two appetizers, a large pizza, and a dessert for around $40. It's a great deal made better by the yelp coupon. I will definitely eat here again on my next visit to the Eastern Shore.

I went to a private party/ rehearsal dinner there and it was fantastic! The food was all delicious and the staff was friendly, fast, and attentive. I would definitely recommend this place!

What a disaster,,, place was not busy ,,, and we had an absolute terrible waitress,,,ordered dinner once had to re order ,,, cuz she lost the order. No big deal --it happens,,, got ice tea asked for sugar. Never got any as we were only visited once without food,,,, never got silverware until dinner cane begged for napkins and generally not fun nor was it a great experience. She had 2 other tables they were not slammed. Period. When i asked about our napkins and silverware she snapped. Anyway enough about happy Harriet. Food as usual was pretty good. There wings are very good and there pizza is very nice. Unlike bouncing betty. ,,, a great job for her would be at the dmv.

Wings came quickly and were a nice size. But when our entrees arrived, we were very disappointed by the size. A large personal pizza barely served two children! The petit filet was tiny and finished in minutes, as was the chicken parm. Ordered a small veggie pizza also and it took so long they ended up not charging us. Also, they forget the cheese entirely and it wasn't cooked. If you're coming here, hope you're not too hungry. Food tasted good enough.

Well. Not stoked. Had booked a table.waited for five minutes until finally someone came. Wanted to squeeze in 2.5 more (one of our party was a kid so another half one) . And nope. Nothing. We left. Service? Not stoke worthy

Found this restaurant via Yelp at 6:50 and booked a reservation via Open Table by 6:55 for 7:15. We were promptly seated (party of 4) upon our arrival. Stoked had a lively atmosphere and a "local" feel. The huge chalkboard outlined all of the specials, fresh fish, specialty cocktails and beers. I had the Old Bay chicken wings (served whole) and fresh crab personal pizza- it was delicious! My wife had the fresh salmon which was baked in the brick oven... Also delicious. The drink choice was a Woodford Peach Manhattan cocktail: Incredibly smooth and refreshing. By checking in on Yelp I received a10% discount on the check. Check this place out of in the area as it is a great find with fresh, well prepared food.

We HIGHLY recommend Stoked. We recently had our rehearsal dinner at Stoked and couldn't have been happier with the food and the service. Louis and his team did an unbelievable job hosting 60 of our close family and friends. The Stoked team was incredibly accommodating (even when our bus brought us to the restaurant an hour late!) The food and drinks were great. We continue to get compliments from all those who attended about the awesome customer service and the incredible food. They even ordered a boutique vodka that the bride liked and set up an ice cream station. The team went above and beyond and we cannot thank them enough. All the food is phenomenal but the crab pizza is a must try! Thank you Louis and team, we will be back soon! Evan & Liz

Very cute trendy neighborhood bar/eatery. They had an awesome selection of draft beers but being pregnant I was unable to try any. The service was excellent the menu was unique. The friend corn on the Cobb and the wings as an appetizer were excellent as well. We just happened to pass through for lunch and they have a little 2 for $10 or 3 for $13 deal. It was the perfect lunch portion with some tasty options. Overall, very cool find. Would def come back if we passed through the eastern shore again. Also uses the yelp deal which made it even more worth it!

Open floor plan and basic but classy tables. All high tops so there isn't a ton of room for plates and isn't ideal for big groups. Great happy hour - $3 beer and house wines (decent variety!) and pizza was good. Caesar was a nice twist on the traditional with house dressing and poached peaches, lots of red onion. Were in town for the IRONMAN but would come back if we were local.

Good beer selection and very accommodating waitress, because we were not happy with the food. We ordered two items. Our chicken wings were undercooked, lacking any crispness to skin and were served like 5 minutes after we sat down. The two chefs in the back were young kids with no formal training because it showed in this simple dish. You can't undercook buffalo chicken wings, it just criminal to serve this! Then came the wood fired pizza with globs of cheese. Ok, so we grew up in New Haven, the home of excellent pizza, the dough, sauce and toppings we're good, to be ruined by the cheese. As the pizza chilled at our table, it became chewy and unpalatable. Cambridge is a town working we hope on getting it right, and lacks the sophistication of the northeast.

Stoked is awesome. Best food in Cambridge. Definitely go on sunday. Happy hour all day, $5 pizzas and wings! Really nice vibe with some friendly staff, Brian and Josie are especially great. I'm here basically every sunday and will be all summer. Also the pasta is out of this world good.

  • Anj W.

*sigh* The veggie panini we had were pretty delightful... I will say that. However, the chip fries taste more like leftover pan fried scraps. The wings we ordered weren't cooked thoroughly enough either and were a tad watery. This place was such a let down. We will never and I repeat NEVER eat here again!

Visiting Cambridge at the Hyatt resort and came into town fir dinner, great place for a family, delicious pizza and apps. Very friendly staff. Although we made a reservation, it wasn't really necessary for a Monday night but probably a good ideas for weekend, it is a small space. Definitely recommend

Went for apps and drinks on Saturday night. Great friendly service and a chill crowd. Solid beer list and tasty cocktails. Crab soup was spot on. Wings are good, they are not the traditional frozen ones most places serve, way better. Definitely coming back for dinner.

I had the asparagus soup and we shared the risotto cakes for appetizer. I could have ate 4 servings of the risotto cakes, they were so flavorful and delicious. This place is relatively inexpensive for how much food we got. The service was excellent. We would go back.

Great food and atmosphere. Plates were on the small side though. Blackened mahi was exquisite as were the risotto cakes. Our waitress Jessica was super friendly! Dessert is mostly cupcakes but they are great.

Great family meal. Pizza was fresh and tasty. Grinder also a great choice. Very imaginative menu without the same old boring choices. Downside: service was a little choppy and the restaurant is loud. We will be back!

I *almost would give this place a 5 star but 4 sums it up pretty well. SO and I were fishing around a surprisingly quiet winter friday night at Cambridge, and after being informed that Bistro Poplar was wrapped up by 9, we tried Stoked. We went in to a fairly quiet vibe--it said to wait to be seated, but no one greeted us for a few minutes. We decided to grab a seat, and they waitress AND bartender greeted us. They weren't apologetic but weren't mean about it, either, so we shrugged it off. We got a couple Craft beers-though, they lack descriptions, which I found odd. I'm an explorer so I don't mind forcing a beer I don't like off on my SO :) We started with a half dozen of the Chesapeake Golds. They were, fine, fresh, meaty and shucked right in front of us. In hindsight though, we didn't realize that they were 2.25 per Oyster, which is kind of abysmal pricing in the Bay Area but it wasn't exclusive--seems all these hipster restaurants charge these prices with no deals (6 for $10???) Our service was great. No complaints there. And I can rave for sure about the Lump Crab meat Pizza--we came back the next night WITH reservations to get it again! Saturday night, they had live music. The performer, while the music wasn't my cup of tea, was very nice, talkative, and I never fail to be stunned by how much nicer people are "Down South." We also had the oft mentioned Risotto Cakes. They were...again, fine. I didn't love them, though I did find them interestingly different than anything I've eaten before. So if you like a more "down home" Gastropub with some real eats, decent hours and a nice blend between being treated like a local and not being the local dive (which is apparently Leaky Pete's)--check this place out.

I had one of their personal pizzas and hubby had the fish of the day. Both were delicious. However, we got the last table and it was broken & wobbly. It took about 20 minutes for anyone to come to the table and it turned out being the bartender who was very nice and attentive.

We'd love to be supportive of this new venture. Cambridge needs good, fun restaurants. The pizza is very good, as are the cocktails. We would go back for the pizza, and the pizza alone. However, the entrees were downright awful. The sirloin entre came as tough cubes mixed with overcooked potato cubes (no veggies either), my parents couldn't even swallow the chicken parm (it was like a ground up, chicken byproduct cake with a spot of sauce) the bolognese was as sweet as a dessert and the $22 mahiwas fair, but the risotto cakes were over cooked and there wasn't any kind of a side in sight - I would have expected some green beans or some type of veggie. It was a postage stamp size entre (which is totally fine if it is delicious - we are fans of small plates) and had no vegetable. It was worth about $11 and not $22. We certainly hope that they figure out the entrees. Out waiter was completely out to lunch. We asked about the fish of the day, which was grouper, and he said, "I have no information about that". We asked about the gelato and he said, "I don't know what the flavors are." We told him the entrees were horrible and he brought us a bill without anything removed. We had to tell him that we wouldn't pay for the two chicken entrees to get him to do anything for us. If this place is going to succeed, they'll need trained waitstaff (those who don't spend every free minute talking to pretty girls at the bar), and they'll need to revamp their entrees.

Our group has been at Stoked several times and have never left disappointed. Last night was another good visit and Zach, our waiter, took very good care of us! He is friendly, informative and attentive! The food was well prepared and delicious and I really like the idea of canning jars!! :) Thanks, Zach! Susan

Beer selection is average and they don't list the names of the breweries - shady? Wings eh...pizza was good.

This restaurant is a wonderful addition to Cambridge's downtown. It's on a little side street called Muir, between Race & Academy - an easy walk from the shops/restaurants in downtown and also from the Marina at Long Wharf, so great for the sailors arriving by boat. If you sail into Cambridge Creek and tie up at the municipal dock for free, the walk is even shorter. There are no outdoor tables so if you're sailing with your dog, you'll need to order carry out or leave him aboard. The atmosphere is new & trendy, with hard wood floors, high tables, large windows and a long bar in front of the open kitchen. There is a large chalk board listing the draft, craft beers, oysters, cheese, meats & more. The wine list is extensive & there are additional beers by the bottle on the menu (however these seem a bit steep in price). They have a brick oven which turns out excellent individual pizzas. I had the mushroom/garlic/spinach which is just to die for. There are options for vegetarians (including 2 pizzas, salads, bruchetta appetizer and a pasta dish). It's a real treat to have vegetarian options and not just one thing or a salad. Desserts are smaller portions (thank you) and very rich. I would rather have small quantity/great quality any day. This is a foodie person's restaurant and great for couples. Not really a kids place (which I appreciate). The large, silent TV above the bar seems a bit out of place but I'm sure some people like it. The chef was very present and you can always tell a difference in the food and service when the chef is there. Can't wait to go back!! (DO make reservations especially on the weekends - they are on Open Table FYI)

This restaurant is from the same owners' as my favorite restaurant High Spot. We visited a couple weeks ago and it appeared there were some kinks still being worked out. The waiter didn't have a clue about the beer selections, prices and what was available. I'm always a little confused about why restaurants don't have full beer menus to take away this ambiguity. They wouldn't not have a menu of their food offerings. Water and non-alcoholic beverages are served in 10oz glasses with lots of ice which is beyond the refill capability of the waiters so you're frequently w/o liquid. We ordered 2 pizzas, one meat and one white. The meat came out at roughly the same time as the same pizza at a neighboring table. Ours looked significantly different. Their's was a smorgasboard piled high and ours anything but. It was supposed to come with 3 meats and ours was only pepperoni with hardly anything else. I pointed this out to the waiter and he got the manager. She initially made up an excuse off the cuff that if you want more meat, you have to ask for it. I was assuming that since it was call a 'meat' pizza, you were asking for a 'meat' pizza. She went to the kitchen to talk to the staff and it turned out that they were actually out of the other ingredients, I guess hoping to slip it by us. Still a bit suspcious since the other table had so many ingredients on theirs'. At any rate I was offered more pepperoni or a discount. I asked for a discount because the pizza wouldn't be right with toppings added afterwards. I was honestly expecting a couple dollars off, but they ended up giving the pizza to me for free. The white pizza was very good. I'll visit again and hope they work it out. I would also suggest that the staff be more professional and don't stand at the bar together eating their dinner while they are on shift.

Well the only good thing about that experience was the fact that we had a Yelp coupon. We have been eager to try out Stoked for some time. Quite a bit of hype surrounding it. Attractive decor. We arrived on time for our reservation at 6, with our one year old for whom we had requested a high chair. No high chair available. Ok. Booster seat for my 4 year old? Nope. Husband picks a beer on tap...annnnd they are out if it. Order, we got chipotle wings. Slimy not crispy skin. I got the chicken cheesesteak pizza. Came out with soggy crust. And found a bone In the chicken as I chewed! And they left off peppers. My husband got the grinder, and as he put it, "I've had better shorties at Wawa." Sigh. My son got the spaghetti (which was actually linguine,) with red sauce, which was really quite spicy for a child's palate, although he was excited about the cafeteria style tray his pasta, orange and fries and cookie was served on. If you really want good brick oven pizza make the trip to St. Michaels. The ambiance and pizza is awesome at Ava's.

My husband and I went to Stoked for dinner when we were in town visiting. We ordered buffalo wings with blue cheese for a appetizer. The wings were great and the homemade blue cheese was awesome. They serve them as whole wings by the pound- so 1 pound was 4 whole wings. Tearing them apart was a bit messy:) For dinner my husband ordered a small meat lover pizza. It was pretty small in size and extremely greasy. The bottom of the plate was saturated in grease. The toppings and all were good but it's like you needed to ring it out before you ate it. I ordered the meatballs which was a dinner entire. It was served with linguine. It came with 2 large meatballs. They were bland and didn't have much flavor. The pasta was over sauced. Our server, Sarah was outstanding. She was super friendly and quick! Overall, we were disappointed with our meals but it was a nice atmosphere and service.

Cool vibe, although it was PACKED and ridiculously noisy. We shouted through most of the meal. Service was good, pizza just so-so (I got the veggie), but the risotto cakes were divine. Live music on Saturday nights was a nice touch.

Good, quick, interesting. Would have preferred a touch of vinegar in/on the crispy, slightly sweet house-made chips. The grinder was moist and tender, but could have used a kick.

I would like to start by saying that while sitting at the table and browsing the menu, I was looking forward to giving Stoked a 5 star review. Everything started out well enough. We ordered Asparagus soup, Risotto Cakes and Deep fried cob corn. The soup was good, nice flavors. The deep fried cob corn was fantastic! Not simply because it was fried. The breading was very well made with great spicing that left you wanting more. The Risotto cakes were not so great. They tasted almost of nothing. Three small cakes on a bed of caramelized onions and topped with a cream sauce and crumbled bacon. Ours arrived at the table sans bacon for no apparent reason. The waitress returned with a cup of bacon for us to place on top. Which helped the flavor, but not by much. We then ordered the Island Piggy pizza. And shortly after, our waitress returned to inform us that she had just learned that the restaurant had been out of pork for two days. And for me, this is where Stoked just starts to tank. Having no pork when approximately 15% of your menu calls for it, well, things happen. supply chains break down, shortages and so on. Though I don't recall any reports in recent news on a pork shortage. Perhaps the more important thing for Stoked to address here is how their waitstaff was not aware of this issue. It seems to me that this is something the Chef our the Sous Chef should make known. Isn't this part of why most kitchens have a Lineup? We amended the order, and asked for the same pizza with chicken in place of the pork. This came out timely and was good. But of course lacked something the pork would have brought. Dessert. I was excited for dessert, Even after noting that NONE of the desserts listed online were available of the physical menu at the table. There was a listing of a few small house made pies and around half a dozen cupcakes that sounded quite good. We ordered 3 cupcakes to go, and our waitress returned shortly with two telling us that the third had been replaced with another flavor earlier that day. I then tried to order a small pie. This is when our waitress informed me that those didn't even exist anymore, And hadn't for over a week. I voiced my disbelief in such a haphazard management of the menu and she said, and I quote "The menu changes ALL the time. there are new desserts almost every week. and new entrees too. So never get your heart set on something because we probably won't have it. the menu changes so much we don't have time to update it." This was probably not the most acceptable way to handle this. And I am all for an ever changing menu, but this is why SO many kitchens choose to do a fresh menu print daily or weekly. I do plan to return in hopes of trying the dish I ordered as it is meant to be prepared, and will hope to find the visit more pleasant than this one.

Best turtle brownie sundae I've ever had. Amazing!! They get it from a neighboring bakery. Pizza was delicious. So many options for wings. We chose pb&j which was so delicious. Kids meal was expensive for what you get. Think next time I'd just order a small pizza. Great beer selection.

Cambridge is trying hard to turn itself into one of the revised waterfront towns. It has a long way to go, but Stoked is certainly helping. The food and beer selections here are outstanding. My wife is still talking about our son's "surf and turf" special: steak and shrimp together in a risotto with an amazing sauce. For my 14 year old son to respond at all when asked, much less affirmatively ask to go back to a restaurant, is a first. Likewise, the turkey panini I ordered was perfectly done. And all entrees offered interesting sides, not just the fries or side salad option. As good as the food and drinks were, the service was arguably better. When trying to pick a beer, our server offered and brought me several tastes. More importantly, he gave us honest opinions on what he preferred from the menu, instead of pushing the specials or the priciest stuff.

Went to Stoked on 6/20/13 for my daughters birthday. Place is very nice and modern. Pizzas were off the hook good. Only issue was service, it was a Thursday night and they had two servers. Took a bit to get our drinks and put our order in, but other than that, awesome. Will for sure be back!!

The pizza is very good with just the right crust. The pizza menu varies with seasons. The large is not large, but rather a medium. Drinks are up on the blackboard. Large and varied beer and mixed drink selection. Service - didn't refill our drinks: I just got one hot tea. Has nice atmosphere. Weekend music played the first time our cycling group tested the place. Bathroom hallway is freezing cold, but clean. There are happy hour specials.

I was pleasantly surprised to discover Stoked tucked away on an obscure side street in Downtown Cambridge. The pizza was phenomenal and the desserts even better. I love the playful gourmet cupcakes offered. And they easily rivaled those of any cupcakery in DC or another "big city." It was absolutely delightful to FINALLY have a bar in the area that offers more than your standard beer or mixed drink. The cocktail menu is extensive and worth the trip in and of itself. The service was outstanding. Quick, friendly and professional. I highly recommend finding this hidden gem and treating yourself to dinner (and dessert!). But be sure to make reservations because I don't foresee this place slowing down anytime soon.
