Horrible waiters , seem like they hate their jobs, my appetizer was wrong then brought back cold, my mashed potatoes were cold, corn extremely salty along with the fries for my kids. our waiter had no emotion to him what so ever, he wasn't really there to help us just there to make money. Well no tip earned there. We come here regularly and this is the 2nd time in a row we have had a bad experience. This place just gets worse and worse, we will be going to the other location from here.

AMAZING SERVICE! I took my husband here for his birthday and we had a wonderful time! I ordered a peach tea vodka and did not like it and Paris was so helpful and took it away. She was fabulous! Will definitely be back!!

This Texas Roadhouse knocked my meal out of the park. My Steak (Ribeye) was cooked exactly the way I ordered it and the rest of the meal was very tasty. The server was knowledgeable and attentive. It helped that I was in very early during their dinner service as this place gets crowded very quickly. Reasonable prices all around.

One of my guilty pleasure in Maryland. The rolls and the free peanuts are my reasons for going to this chain. Customer service is just OK nothing great. Noise noise Loud music all over !:

The only plus side to this experience was the host/seater who went out of her way to make sure we got to pick from fresh steaks. The waitress wasn't bad either. It took over an hour to get our food. The drinks were suppose to be strawberry lemonade but we received raspberry. The steak was suppose to be medium. It arrived extra well done to blackened. The manager said she give us a discount , could of charged us for the drinks but instead just gave us $12 off a $23 meal that was burnt. Horrible experience.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Maryland. I'm never disappointed when I come. Great customer service. The manager on duty usually comes by to make sure everything is okay. I love that. If you've never been, they have peanuts while you wait and when you are seated. Great atmosphere. You also get these amazing, mouth watering rolls...which comes with a side of CINNAMON BUTTER!!! Omg!!! (I'm typing this while I'm stuffing my face with one now) For my main course, I ordered the Ribeye Steak and Grilled Shrimp combo with seasoned rice and steamed broccoli! WHooooooWeeeee!!!! :)

I had to lower my star rating because I was disappointed from a recent visit here. I showed up with a party of 8 on a Monday at around 4:15. The restaurant was basically empty. The hostess wanted to seat us right by the bathrooms at a booth with an extended leaf. Whoever that would be sitting at the leaf would literally be sitting in the middle of the aisle. We asked to be seated on the other end of the restaurant at a table that could comfortably accommodate us. The hostess was very hesitant about the change, so we asked for the manager. The hostess came back and told us that the manager said we couldn't sit at the more comfortable table because that section was "closed." Closed? Two people were just seated in the same area. Since the manager didn't think it was proper for him to come out and speak to us and try to accommodate our request of sitting at a table, as a opposed to sitting at a booth, we left. The wonderful thing about living in America is....you have options. Clearly our tab would've been well over $100, but since they clearly don't know the meaning of customer service, we took our business elsewhere. I never would've imagined switching to a table from a booth would be that big of a deal. Who wants to be jammed in a booth when only 5 other people are in the entire restaurant. Oh well, their loss! Thanks Longhorn for accommodating our party of 8.

Went here yesterday with my family. I called ahead and requested seating for a party of nine at 530. She said okay fine, just make sure your entire party is here because we won't seat you until everyone arrives. That was no big deal. When we arrived we was told that we were going to be separated into two tables. I had an issue with that seeing as I see three people sitting at the long table when they could have been in a booth. But when big sis says it's fine, you go with big sis decision. So now, our children are sitting in a booth across from us. Everything seems to be okay until we have two servers because one controls one side of the room and the other does the other side. Okay, fine. Whatever. I'm just ready to eat at this point. So we order the Texas blossom or the blooming onion as it known and it's comes out fast. Fast, hot and crunchy as there was barely any onions, only hard crunchy batter. The bread was always delicious so no complaints there. Love love love that butter!! Also, the food came out fast and was hot. The steaks were well done as requested but they looked very dark and crispy. Sorta burnt looking but it was moist and very well seasoned. The ribs are good. They are pork so you know they bomb. But seriously tho, they are tender and seasoned well and covered in BBQ sauce. The sides were ehhh, just ok. Nothing to write home about. I always stick with the baked potato and the string beans cause you can't mess up a baked potato. Well, since we have two servers, our server does not like it when we ask server number two for anything. And when we did, he'd always take it from him and bring it. It was quite the scene. Anyway, so we eat and it's my turn to pick up the check so I request the check and I got two bills. Well apparently since you have two servers and two different tables, you have two bills aka two charges on your card. And two tax prices. Not cool. So I ask why two bills and apparently it's policy. Wow. Lesson learned. All in all, good food, good prices, good customer service, bad check policy, and a crowded parking lot.

I am just realizing I have never rated this place. My most recent experience was last night. My daughter and I love the rolls with the cinnamon butter. Absolutely delicious. I come here because it's a decent steak place and the prices are good. The last time I was here, I had a young Asian girl for a waitress and she was horrible. It was pretty obvious our meals were sitting around for too long. By the time we received them, they were lukewarm and the fries were gross. I didn't send anything back because I didn't have time to wait. Last night was kind of awful. Not the food, the service. Omarr was a really nice guy, but he does not do well with multitasking. Me and my daughter went to the restroom after waiting a long time for our food and when we came back, it was just sitting on the table. I wanted A1 steak sauce, but he never came back to the table, so I had to go without. We were never offered refills (my drink was pretty watered down). After our meal, we waited a total of 32 minutes just to get the check. That was the slowest service I have ever had there. I would have talked to him about his service, but I waited to long and just wanted to go home. If I don't want to spend a lot of money, I'll return to this place and ask not to be seated in his section....if he's still there.

I had a bad experience ordering to go once before, where I sat in my car for over an hour and was eventually handed cold food. I was pissed, but that was then, and this is now & a 2nd chance isn't too much to ask for but apparently some things don't change. I ordered a bone-in ribeye with mixed veggies and apple sauce, told the server what car I'll be sitting in & began to let a playlist take me away. 40minutes later someone finally walks up to my car as if to TAKE my order & she knew that I was sitting there long before that so why bother to acknowledge me now? I show her my order receipt & was told she'll be right out my food. .....fast forward ANOTHER 20minutes where I decide to head inside and simply cancel my order. I'm tired, pissed & simply don't care anymore and I'd like my money back. Instead I'm met with "I'll check on your order and see if it's done, and if it's done, do you still want to cancel?" Me: "whatever..." Oh joy, she returned saying it's done. ....of course it is, and it's likely cold because it was likely done 30min ago being that it doesn't take an hour to heat meat and vegetables and apple sauce is served cold for crying out loud. I ask "was this sitting back there all this time and is it cold?" She replies "oh noooo it just came out, sir. It's hot. We're just really busy so orders are coming out slow". Well you need to inform your customers of abnormal wait times, it's the decent thing to do! And of course after touching my steak because I wasn't just gonna take her word for it, it's COLD!!!! My rolls were warmer than my steak! And a STEAKHOUSE ran out of A1 sauce. This will be my last time patronizing. Granted, the food is delicious when done right, and the butter that comes with the rolls is pretty nice, I simply cannot continue to support horrible service that obviously goes unchecked ESPECIALLY when there are establishments a million times better. No, thank you.

Awful awful awful! My steak was lukewarm when it came out. The fries were cold and disgusting and to top it all off they serve Kraft macaroni and cheese as a side (and charge and extra $0.99 for it). Little did we know that this was an item from the kids menu but our server should have told us that when we ordered it. They need to fire all the staff, especially the chef, and start all over again with new personnel.

I had my best experience last night. Normally Im not really feeling this place, BUT my chicken fingers and salad were the BOMB... (can I say Bomb on here?) The salad with the bacon bits, and onions just really blessed my entire life. The service was cool even though my god-daughter was standing in the chair talking about "where is my hamburger". Overall I would go back especially on a Tuesday which happens to be Family Night.

I havent been here in years but nothing has changed at this location. For some disturbing reason reservations are not accepted, and instead they give an estimate of when the party will be seated. Our estimate for the party of my 10 was 345. The entire party was here at 345 and tbey said it would be an ESTIMATED 40 additional minutes. I dont do well with restayrants that dont respect my time.., More to come

Absolutely LOVE this place!! They have the best BBQ for the price in the area! For starters, the bread is off the chain!! Freshly made and buttery soft bread just melts in your mouth as you are seated at the table. The sweet tea is yummy and I've only had one alcoholic beverage that was really good too. The ribs, pulled pork, grilled shrimp skewers, and country fried chicken with cream gravy are MUST haves!! Their sides are pretty good too! Love the sweet potato and loaded mashed potatoes!! Let's talk about their service.....I haven't had a bad or even just mediocre experience with the service. Katie is an AMAZING server! Overall, definitely a 5 star experience for a very reasonable price!

We had a great time, I don't know if it's because we went on a weekday at 5 pm. No lines, and no long waits for food. The server was very good and prompt. The food was good. Can't beat a dinner for 3 for $50. You could get full on the complementary bread and peanuts, alone.

I really really like the food at Texas Roadhouse! That is the primary reason that I will not stop eating at this restaurant. However; the car side to go service is really not that good. This isn't the first time that I've sat in my car for over 15 minutes before someone even came outside to check. Now, I've had to wait an additional 15 minutes for luke warm food. While I understand it's a holiday this has happened on more than one occasion. I hope that the management will find a better process for serving car side customers.

So I just ordered take-out literally an hour ago. First off my "cooked" carrots were hard. How do you mess that up? Also the BBQ chicken was tough and dry on the exterior. The sweet potato was the only delicious thing i ordered. My second complaint is that they dont have a wide assortment of food for those of us that dont eat red meat. My boyfriend loved his steak though!

Yes, Texas steakhouse is a great place to order steak .. But I chose to order Over roasted chicken and it was awesome. It is half a chicken slow roasted that was seasoned just right with a loaded baked potato on the side and a Caesar salad. I shared an appetizer with friends, it was cheese and bacon fries.. Now.. This was a tasty temptation.. I don't think anything with cheese and bacon is ever a bad thing... And this appetizer met our expectation and lived up to all good things involving bacon and cheese! The server messed my drink up twice, but he was super nice and just couldn't hear me over the loud noise in the bar area so I didn't hold it against him. When he finally got it right, my strawberry drink hit the spot. I would definitly go back here... Great food.. Good service.

I had the ribeye and it was soo bland even with mushrooms. The service was very sketchy also. Our waiter rarely came to check on us and was very unfriendly. It seemed like he was in a bad mood that night probably because it was crowded. I see no reason to return here.

We called ahead to reserve seats for a party of 12. After 2 hours, 4 separate phone calls and being transferred to 10+ different people between all of them, we were finally able to make our reservation. (everyone else kept trying to take a to-go order that we weren't trying to make and passing the buck to someone to take the reservation. The next person picks up the line, thinking that we're trying to place a to-go order, placing us back on hold and on and on it went...) The place was VERY crowded with PG County's "finest" (note the sarcasm). Loud, obnoxious, gratuitously tatted up... you get the idea. Didn't make for the best dinner company, but despite this, our server Anaya was really good. She brought boyfriend's carb-loading family all the buttered rolls they cared to eat and catered expertly to some of the more outspoken and somewhat demanding members of the party (*ahem* his mother *ahem*). She also helped me to avoid a dish that looked good in theory (but she said was not so great in execution), so I decided on the sirloin with grilled onions and shrimp skewer. The shrimp was way too salty and the steak just tasted...odd. Can't put my finger on it, but it just tasted weird. Even the steak sauce couldn't make it better. The raspberry and peach margaritas we got were essentially slurpees. We didn't taste a drop of alcohol. The whole meal was just underwhelming.... Two-stars, but only because of the service.

Well well well we finally made it after my girl continued to boast and brag on this place for months telling me the food was good ..., so i took her for her birthday . Service -Everyone was pleasant we arrived about 7:30 and had about a 30 minute wait not bad for the capacity at that time. Our Server Greg greeted and at that moment I knew we were in good hands Greg was very friendly not overwhelming and informative. Atmosphere-it was a Saturday evening the place was packed but not to the point where it was chaos they handle the crowd very well . I never felt rushed or as if I had to hurry and free my seat . Watch out for the peanut shells on the floor though lol . Food - The food was great and I mean great!! it is not often I go out and get food this tasty. The food came out hot Everything has flavor!!! The biscuits... well worth all the bragging I heard and read about. There was plenty of food yes ate off it for three days . I don't eat pork or beef but by the looks of the ribs they were falling off the bone and I tasted a little tiny piece of steak (by force) which was seasoned well . My chicken was crispy and not soggy even with the gravy. My favorite part and which you see I could not even take a picture of is the sweet potato!!! Something good so much flavor and cooked to perfection. My girl had an alcoholic beverage and it had plenty of alcohol you will not be disappointed. Overall - I will be sure to visit soon and try more things off the menu. I was very very please with the service for Saturday evening. The prices are great in response to the quality and portion size. Big shout out to Greg he really treated us well! PS get some biscuits to go you won't regret it the next morning

I love Texas Roadhouse. They (and Longhorn) Have taken over reign from the once dominant Outback Steakhouse. Outback is just plain garbage nowadays. Come here instead. This restaurant is always busy, but we have never had to wait for more than 20 minutes for a table. The restaurant itself is huge and has a huge bar in the center of it as well. The servers I have had have always been REALLY good considering the amount of tables they are working at one time, and the manager is always making his/her rounds to make sure you are having a good visit. You can pick out your steak from the case at the front of the restaurant or order one from the menu. The steaks are so good. Like slap your mama good. I have never had one NOT cooked to the temperature of my liking (I'm a medium rare girl), and their sides are huge. They also have the best steak salad I have ever tasted. Huge and delicious. If this particular restaurant wasn't 30 minutes from our house, I would want to eat here once a week. The atmosphere is fun, and I particularly like eating peanuts and throwing the shells on the floor. I also like the little dances the waiters do every half hour or so. Overall, it's just a fun place with delicious food. Give it a try and leave Outback behind forever. Their prices are cheaper than Outback and Longhorn as well.

I've been going to this place since the day it opened. It used to be my favorite restaurant but lately, the last few times I've visited, I've had bad experiences with the Hosts. Me and my father walk in and they don't even greet us. You kind of have to get their attention to let them know that you are here and that you need a table. Hosting requires greeting and they just stand there until you greet them.. LOL. Besides that, they always get my fries extra salty and my steak doesn't come out the way I order it. This restaurant is slowly falling apart.

Visited this place today and arrived @ 8:30pm. We were given a buzzer to keep track of when our table was ready for a party of 8. After waiting an hour, the waiting area was empty except our party still waiting to be seated, we were told the hostess confused our party with another party that was seated. Instead of apologizing and accommodating us we dealt with attitudes from the hostesses. After speaking with the manager we waited another 20 minutes to be seated. Our waiter Thai, was wonderful and her upbeat attitude really lightened our moods. When the check came the manager didn't even comp anything to compensate for the bad service. His excuse was :we waited as long as everyone else" which was bologna. The food was good, however I will not be visiting Bowie's location again.

This is our favorite local place for steaks. It is a great value especially the early dinner menu. We often come at least once a month and enjoy the good food and good service here. My main complaint is that it can get obnoxiously loud in the restaurant. I guess it is a trademark of the restaurant, but I find it annoying that it is difficult to carry on a conversation without yelling accros the table. We usually only come during the week if we can make it before the dinner crowd when they turn the music up and it starts to get loud.

Worst service I have ever had! I used to work at Texas Roadhouse for 3 years in SC and there is a timeliness standard. We arrived at 7pm and was told there was a 15-20 min wait. We were sat an hour later. It took 20 minutes before our server greeted us. At that point we ordered drink apps and food... He brought the drinks out in 10 min and then the apps followed... However, 50 minutes later our food came out... The server did not once check up with the table in that time period. They had accidentally switched my filet with one of my friends sirloins (discovered later) i sent my steak back... My gfs steak was medium not well done so it was sent back... 25 min lter we received our food... When i confronted the manager about the service, he questioned me as if I was lying... End result was $10 off but ultimately ruined night... Drove an hour for TRH! Left at 945... 2 hrs and 45 min for dinner wow... Worst experience ever!!! Rude hostesses as well.. I watched our server joke around instead of tend to his tables and then when he did "frantically" attended...

Been to this location twice in the past 3 months. Service was lacking in regards to being attentive, attempted to get a to-go order one afternoon but the guy who answered the phone said that they don't take orders until 4pm and that I'd have to call back.. It was 3:57pm when I called :I The reason for 2 stars is that I've been happy with the chicken critter salad that I've ordered each time, however, our most recent visit just 2 weeks ago was extremely dissapointing. My husband ordered a porterhouse since he was craving steak. It took a bit of time to finally get our food and that must have been due to over grilling his steak since it came out pretty well-done when he asked for medium rare. This may be an issue to address since this place is a steakhouse. Other than the dry, chewy steak, the food has been alright.

I've both dined here and taken out an order, let me start off by saying take out is just a mess. It takes forever for someone to come to your car and the orders are typically wrong, check your food before you drive home! They tried shorting me a whole filet. Obviously I said something and then it took another 20 minutes for the left out filet to come to my car so by the time I got home 1/4 filets was warm. That being said, I can't say anything negative about dining in here, my service has been up to par, the food has come out in a timely manor cooked to my specifications and prices are reasonable I think. If you're craving their food, DINE IN.

Can never go wrong here! - there might be a short wait to be seated at times, but the food is worth it. The rolls, cinnamon butter, steaks, and drinks - anything I order has always been cooked perfectly and tasty. I am picky when it comes to steaks, prefer medium-rare (pink and warm in middle). Many places will try to serve you either too rare or something cold in the middle ... but Texas never has disappointed me.

I've been to this location a few times and it pales in comparison to the location in Fallston, MD. Sure there's about an hour and a half distance between the two, but it's still within state; the way they're different, you'd think otherwise. This location in particular has no customer service skills at the front reception area-whatsoever. Last time we visited was on a rainy Fri night and we walked in, and stood for at least ten minutes and no one EVER said a word to us. Even when I loudly complained, I still did not get the attention of the THREE employees standing there just jawjacking amongst themselves-not a peep came out of them to greet us. I was blown away, and went away-you don't have to tell me twice. The food is okay for the money and those rolls with the cinnamon butter are really worth a trip here...if you can get anyone to seat you. The Fallston location was like dining in a five star restaurant. It was crowded, but you felt like you were the only one in the room. There is just no excuse for poor customer service..if it's not your strong suit, get out of the business. You hurt businesses by staying in a job you have no intentions on performing well at.

Terrible service.... The waiters were all horse playing and it took 30 minutes to be seated while there were table's available and when I asked what's the hold up they said "Oh we tryna find a clean table for u" I also overheard 3 waiter's arguing about not wanting to seat me and my family! Will not be returning to this location the staff were very young minded teens

Texas Roadhouse continues to under impress me even though I've gone back to see if the service gets better; it doesn't. I ordered two burgers for pickup and arrived when they told me only to find out that I was the next order to come up. I had a seat and waited to be called since they had my name. When I got up to make room for an elderly lady to sit down since it was busy I noticed that there was a bag of food sitting on the counter. Since there were so many teenage workers hanging around I figured someone would notice it and find out who ordered it. They avoided it like a pop quiz in science class. When I finally got through the queue to ask where my food was, the young girl I paid earlier looked surprised and ran into the kitchen to find my order only to come back and find it on her desk. She then proceeded to tell me that it just came out. I disagreed since I had noticed it unattended earlier and she went back into kitchen with the food to find a manager. Another 10 minutes go by before one of the mangers comes out and gives me the same story the young girl did. The customer is evidently never right. So the food comes back out from the kitchen where they probably had been trying to warm it up again and I left simply because I was starved and had to get something home for my son to eat. Texas Roadhouse management needs to train their young hosts/hostesses about customer service and let their mangers know they'll be paid based on positive customer feedback only.

Affordable prices, great food & drinks! I had the shrimp skewers with seasoned rice and a loaded sweet potato OMG!!! It was sooooo good. I wasn't expecting the food to be so flavorful. The drinks are very flavorful and they are not watered down. Oh how could I end this review without talking about those hot rolls they serve with cinnamon butter!!!!!! The best rolls from a restaurant I've ever had. I can't wait to go back.

Totally was not feeling this joint. I don't usually go to chain steakhouses because they're not common in my area and I try to hit up mom and pops before going to chains. One of my "guilty pleasures" when I venture out of town is Logan's Roadhouse because of the pretty knockout steak at a decent price, a cocktail menu that makes a sorority girl proud, and those warm yeast rolls. Texas Roadhouse sounded pretty much the same- steak-centric American fare, peanuts everywhere, warm, fresh, homemade yeast rolls. First off I'm not feeling the cinnamon butter- these rolls were GREAT. They were warm. They were soft, fresh, delectable. But it was just too sweet and wasn't as addictive as Logan's rolls with salted butter. Next up, the salads. I ordered the caesar, and my SO the house. The caesar comes pre-tossed and you get an ample portion. Despite a lot of salad, there wasn't a lot of dressing at all. Usually I am on the lighter side of dressing users but this was far too light- you could not taste the caesar very much and seeing that this dish was only romaine, a few croutons (good btw), and a few shreds of parmesan, it made for a rather bland salad. For my entree, I chose 10 oz ribeye, medium rare. A ribeye is a pretty knockout cut of meat that is perfectly marbled and tender. The size wasn't bad, but what I had a problem was with the thickness and the seasoning. They choose steaks that are much more wide than they are thick so my steak was essentially a large thin cut steak (no more than 1/2 inch, tops). This means you don't get a nice char on the outside and this cut tends to get overcooked- well it was overcooked. It came out medium, verging on medium well. I wasn't going to send it back and waste it so I just ate it. It was a decent steak, but not knockout the way Logan's is. This steak could have been executed at home with the cheap thin cups at Giant and an ikea grill pan for a fraction of the cost. The steak was not seasoned well either (would have liked a little more salt) so I went for some sauce. Sauce was just not very good - I'm an A1 devotee and this was just trash compared to A1. A two-dimensional sauce that's prominent flavor is just smoke. A true disappointment. My second side was a loaded baked potato- I thought this was the highlight of my meal because it was perfectly baked. I would have liked a little more bacon and butter in my potato though (it is supposed to be "loaded" after all). I also had a Texas Peach Fuzz- it was mainly juice (canned) and very little booze. For only 6 dollars, I can't complain because drinks where I live are twice that. The real tragedy was my SOs ribs- they were quite affordable (a half slab is quite sizeable, about 6-8 "ribs" worth) but they were absolute trash. Dry, dry, dry, and very bland. It was such a disappointment because the ads around the restaurant boasts it as "award winning" and here we are with a very dry, mundane, slab of ribs. Barely any sauce and not tender and succulent like a good rib ought to be. Overall, it was not worth the 45 minute wait and cost. I would not go out of my way to visit Texas Roadhouse and will confidently say that Logan's Roadhouse is much better than Texas Roadhouse.

Good food with reasonable price. Wait you need to make it past the horrible reception to get to your table. Don't bother reserving a seat, it is meaningless as you will be informed there is a two hour wait even if you show up on your reserved time. Loss of understanding starts with the manager as I have personal experience this past Father's Day.

Quick service to be seated @ 7 pm on a Wednesday eve. We were informed of the happy hour specials and ordered drinks just in time. Then ordered Wild West Steak specials of an 8 oz. steak w/ 2 sides. Whether ordered rare to medium well, all were tender and cooked just right. Food was plentiful and prices right. Service was very pleasant, music loud, dancing and clapping, it was like one big family. Looking forward to a return visit.

Love this place since I first visited a location in PA. Couldn't get enough of this place when I was on assignment (work related) in Columbia, SC over 10 years ago. So happy when a location opened in Bowie, Maryland. Where do I begin: The Yeast Rolls are to die for!! They are served warm with cinnamon butter on the side as soon as you sit down at your table. They taste like homemade rolls your grandmother or auntie would of made. The appetizers we tried recently were the "Rattlesnake Bites" (Diced Jalapeno Peppers and Cream Cheese served with your choice of sauce (try the Cajun Horseradish). I would order them again, but be careful of their heat (spicy) if you're "faint at heart". The "Killer Ribs" with Fries app. was just okay, but that's only because I prefer to get my ribs from a BBQ joint. My entree of choice is always is their "Dockside Favorite" Fried Catfish (not served at all locations). "Farm Raised Catfish" lightly battered and fried (request it hard, but not too hard) in cornmeal and seasonings to perfection. All entree come with your choice of two sides. I chose the Baked Potato ( baked to perfection and meaty) and Cesar Salad ( just the right amount of Cesar Dressing and Parmesan Cheese), while my companion had Steamed Mixed Veggies and a House Salad with no complaint. No room for dessert after this feast for both me and my companion! Lol We left happily, but full with half of our food in to-go containers!! Smh/Lol The Wait Staff and Managers are all very nice and courteous. We were seated for approx. 45 minutes and someone checked in on us every 10 minutes or so, asking it everything was to our liking or if we needed anything! Don't let the long lines( in waiting areas) or cars parked in the parking lot fool you, our wait was only 10 minutes and the place was packed for a Sunday afternoon (4:30 PM) !! Can't wait to return!!!

This place is me and hubbys new favorite place. From the time our waiter brought out the bread everything was delicious. I mean we literally enjoyed everything. The portions were very generous as we both had to pack our food up to go. Our server was great very friendly and welcoming. This was our first time but definitely wont be our last!

My baby wanted Texas Roadhouse for his birthday. We came in at the right time at 4pm which I found out was the exact time they open. Get there early because the place gets packed quickly! A bucketful of shelled peanuts at the table...well, hello! Complementary hot fresh rolls with flavored butter...why, yes! Overall, it was a good dining experience with great waitservice! My fiance had the 3 medallion steaks which were awesome! My chicken fried steak was alright although was served a generous portion. What I can tell you is don't get liquor there because you'll be charged high for a little bitty drink which was laughable. Oh wait. Who's laughing? Me or them? D'oh! I'll come back....pre-liquored...and try their selection of steaks.

Food: I got the Bone-In Ribeye. Let me just say that I am not typically a steak dude since red-meat wasn't cooked that often (if at all) in my house growing up. So I am not expert when it comes to steak. I walked in and saw them grilling up a Bone-In Ribeye and I already knew what I was going to eat. I got Chili and a House Salad for my starters. The chili was solid. I should have gotten 2 orders of it instead of the salad. The steak was so good that I wanted to go back the next day just to get another one. Juicy (pause) and flavorful. Make sure you use one of those rolls and make a steak sandwich too! Workers: Nothing stood out here. Atmosphere: Dimly lit American BBQ chain spot. You know what those look like inside.

Come here a lot since it's so close to home. Love the rolls and can't forget the ribs.

Food and drinks are great but the parking and the wait to get in are always ridiculous. I can walk there and don't go often because of the wait and lack of parking.

As long as this place has been around, I've only started going a few months ago... WHAT HAVE I BEEN MISSING? I've only been during Happy Hour, but I can say these 3 things: the drink prices are good, the drinks themselves are good, and the free peanuts & free bread & cinnamon butter are absolutely delicious & abundant... so abundant that ordering food is not even always necessary. Sadly, their HH specials do not include food, but when you do order it, they give you a LOT. I have never been able to finish. I'd definitely recommend going, I haven't tasted anything I have disliked.

Gave it another chance. Bar atmosphere was ok. Bartenders are attentive. Food was much better. I've actually been back a couple times, just to the bar area for a quick app or salad.

Chain steakhouses can be hit or miss. This is the first time I tried this particular chain. I've seen it from the road and it looked ok. I got inside and it looked ok. And then I ordered my favorite cut, the ribeye, and I was pleasantly surprised. The steak wasn't the best I've had, but it was a good cut, cooked medium rare (the only way) and tasted good. I wouldn't mind coming back for a fairly priced ribeye again.

OK, so I decided to update my review based on my experience last night. My mom, the kids and I went and the service was EXCELLENT and the food was PERFECT!! All too many times we are quick to criticize and not commend/compliment. My waiter SEAN was awesome!! Very attentive, knew the menu very well, wonderful personality, he made my dinner experience wonderful! I spoke with the manager (Nathan) and told him how great my service was and he said that Sean had just received a promotion that day; it was well deserved!! Also, I must mention that it was a 30 minute wait to be seated (No complaints!) which tells you how crowded it was and even with that my customer service was GREAT! ***Kudos to Sean for his wonderful service!!!*** ***Kudos to Nathan for recognizing that he has a good/hard/awesome/great worker and awarding him!!!!*** I will be returning very soon.

This is one of my favorite place to eat! their food is excellent! My favorite dish is grilled shrimps with loaded sweet potato ( melted marsh mellows and brown sugar). They have the best tasting dinner rolls ever served with cinnamon flavored butter. The cat fish is also another good dish. The service is excellent all the waiters/waitresses are great I love their company shirts " I love my job" that they all wear! they also do line dancing for the customers! And when its your birth day they bring out a saddle for you to sit on lol. super fun! They have complimentary buckets of fresh peanuts at the tables too. ( so good)! This place lives up to its name. You will feel like your in texas! great spot, highly recommend.

Over cooked my ribeye twice... Think I stick with longhorn steakhouse. We wanted Jamil as a server who was willing to take us, but the host wouldn't give him our 7-top . Took a while for server to greet table. By the time the server came to table, we were ready to order entire meal . I do like the ambiance and the salted baked potato and the fact they put eggs in your salad . Maybe, I will try a chicken entree at the steakhouse ..,.,

This place is consistently good. Yeah, theres a wait usually. But all the steaks are hand cut in house and the rolls are fantastic. Ribs are solid too. Always a good meal. Better than outback up the road for sure.

Excellent food. The Wednesday deals are great--just be sure to ask because not all of the servers know to tell you.

Went to Texas Roadhouse after Church on Sunday at 11:00 when they are supposed to open. Doors were locked, an employee opened the door at 11:10 for another employee, we asked if they were open, he said not yet. 10 min later at 11:20 we were getting In our car and another employee came out to give us drinks. We had our two kids with us and were the only ones waiting you think they could have let us wait inside. If a company is supposed to open at 11:00 that's when they should open. I don't think corporate would be too happy with this service.

I hadn't been in here in awhile but The MIssus had a hankerin' for a steak and this place was close. It's an OK place. It's always packed. Always crowded. Always noisy. Generally, the service is good, quick and friendly. The food is pretty decent (the rolls!). I had the NY Strip and a sweet potato. The MIssus had the Filet. She loved hers. I was OK with mine and our friend said his ribs were overcooked. If you're looking for a good hunk of meat and you don't mind a big, noisy restaurant this place is as good as any.

Last night I went to my new spot again, yes again! It's like 3mins from my house so it's convenient while not being overwhelming to my pockets! I love the bread, last night it was warm and melting the butter, yum! I decided to order the sirloin tips with mash and cesar salad last night, something new. The sirloin tips were cooked just to my liking, well done, (not brunt), but I must complain about the plentiful plate of onions, note to cooks in the back ( more meat less onions). I could take it if they were REALLY part of the meal, but they weren't really, they were (RAW) and thrown on the plate,as to hide the 8-10 tips! :( The mash pots were great after I added my trusty salt and mr. Pep! The salad was very dry, people I'm from the south, add seasonings and dressings when necessary PLS! The service was outstanding as usual, I sat at the bar, couldn't drink I had another stop to make.

Service was terrific and atmosphere was great but you would think that a Texas-style roadhouse would have flavorful fried chicken and ribs but not here! We thought the rolls were plain and too sweet, which was probably the butter brushed on top. Thought the cinnamon butter was odd, reminiscent of cinnamon toast for breakfast! I'm not sure how it got so many good reviews--maybe fans are used to mediocrity. It was just worth the $30 we paid for two lunches. We do plan on trying it again for steaks or burgers since those seem to be their signature.

You know a place is good when it's packed every time you come in! This place is awesome! I've been here about 4-5 times and the food never disappoints me. You can get full off an appetizer, literally. Their buffalo chicken is out of this world! And the free bread they give you is delicious. The staff is so friendly and are prepared for any situation( overcrowding, rude customers, etc.) Very nice for celebrations. I constantly find myself craving their food.

When you are driving (seemingly) aimlessly in hopes that the perfect food joint will pop up I learned this night how to make an unforgettable decision: Go to the spot with the biggest wait line. Everything within you is going to say WAIT?? NOT??.....But don't listen to reason. The wait outside of Texas roadhouse was 45 minutes or more (if I recall correctly). We squeezed in the wait area that was FULL of people. Totally about 10 big groups ahead of us...and the restaurant was full. Anyways. We finally make it back to eat. The wait system was effective...people could eat peanuts, they gave you a beeper. All good. So we walk back and pass a refrigerator thing that has big chucks of steak for you to choose on your own. Pretty cool...but i'm not a steak orderer. Steak has always been an at home thing for me....thanks hubby! ;) This place is bumping with a good mix of folks. We were seated near the bumpin bar. They immediately give you these cute looking rolls with this interesting dollop of butter with brown flecks in it. Turns out it was cinnamon. :) Take a bite (instantly your mind goes to Shrek, the kids movie, and the Puss in Boots, who has the cute, HUGE eyes to reel you in...and then once its got you it has all the power to tear you a new one). yes, these rolls were pure ecstasy! Oh my goodness. MMMMMMMMMMMMM Menu prices were decent. I ordered a dish per suggestion of the waitress (who was hilariously ditzy). My side was this bacon green beans...I could have just ate that as my entree. Whew, soooooo good. I had smothered chicken (i think), hubby had steak. I mean y'all it was all a tongue heaven blur. I don't care what you order....its going to be good...i can feel it. Then as if it couldn't get any better, suddenly for no apparent reason (other than the culture of the place) 7 or 8 waiters get up and do a country line dance!!! I was totally back home at this point. I must have looked like the nutty professor...clapping and bouncing. Lord have mercy. lol. I Cannot Wait To Go Back Here. I always leave a place with a doggy bag. And i did the same at this place....only it was not full of uneaten food, but rather another order of the rolls!!! Whew.

I thoroughly enjoyed the ribs at this place! When they say "fall off the bones ribs," they literally mean it. The meat was extremely tender that it fell off the bones. I also enjoyed the loaded baked potato, seasoned green beans, and the awesome cinnamon buttery rolls that were nice and hot and simply delicious. The service was great and I love the spirited servers who periodically identified customers who were celebrating their birthdays. Overall, it was fun and pleasant experience and I would highly recommend Texas Roadhouse to others! Now, I know why there were people waiting in the parking lot as well as inside the restaurant to be seated!

Sunday afternoon. The place was busy but not packed. We were seated right away. The person seating us grabbed a bread basket and butter as we walked to our table. I liked this! No waiting for the bread. It was fresh and hot. Our server arrived shortly after we were seated and took our drink order. We browsed the menu and ordered bbq wings for an appetizer, hubs had the pulled pork, and I had the pork chops. We each ordered the mashed potatoes and green beans for our sides. Honestly - everything we has was good. The wings and the pulled pork were well cooked but the sauce could have been a little more flavorful. Everything else was delicious! I've only been to upscale restaurants where the potatoes and green beans were this fresh tasting! Seriously, they were amazing. Oh and the restroom was super clean though they should fix the faucet on the right - there was no water coming out when you turned on the hot water, and the cold water came out and splashed you. So that was the good. The not so good - we were seated with the bread but no bread plates. Not a big idea - until the wings came out and we had no plates for the wings.. It took a while for plates to be brought to us. And there was a card on the table that advertized if you signed up for the VIP email club you get a free appetizer - it should also say - on your next visit!! Aside from that it was a good dining experience. Honestly I'd go back no matter what on a night I was craving mashed potatoes and green beans! (they were just that good!!)

Can't help but laugh....I stopped in last night and spent $200 on gift cards. When asked about rolls to go? They charged me. I spent more than I would have dining in, yet I was charged for something that would have been free if I had dined in. Unreal. Top it off? I had to wait 10 minutes for my order (all the while I saw over 15 baskets of bread under the heat lamp!) Staff was completely inattentive.

If I was just reviewing the free rolls - five star. But alas, it's the whole experience... Walking in Texas is pretty amazing. You pick your meat of choice at the front. I've only seen that on the Travel Channel or Food Network. Anywho. It recently opened at 4 and we had to wait about 5 minutes for a table (a little weird). Food was pretty good. Drinks were good to (really) strong. Service was great, when he was there (few and far between), and both my water glasses had things in them: the first a long hair, the second ?. Because it was our first visit, the manager gave us a coupon for a free appetizer on our return visit. Which we will make without drinking the water...

One of my favorite places to eat! My server J.Cole, was excellent!! He made sure our cups stayed full, our food was perfect and brought over dinner rolls right away when we asked! He was a fun person to be around after having a long day at work. Food was delightful as always!!!!

Nothing spectacular, another Texas Roadhouse. The good thing is that since it is in the middle of no where, the long lines that usually accompany meal times at a Texas Roadhouse are much shorter at this location!

I want to first off saying we had horrible service. We were sat down by the hostess and waited more than 5 mins before the server came over. We ordered the snake bites as our free birthday appetizer (my husband got a free appetizer for his bday coupon via email). My husband ordered the roadkill, loaded fries with chili. I ordered a salad, 6oz sirloin w/ loaded fries. All the food was fresh and cooked to our liking. Our waitress however was super slow and brought out my husband's chili and my salad before our snakebites came out. Then while we were eating that was when the appetizer came out. It took awhile to get our bill also and had to wait awhile for a refill for our waters. So this location has delicious food but crappy service.

You want good food? Go Here. Want good drinks? Go Elsewhere. Everything from the buttered bread to the entree was very good. I never really have to wait here and call ahead for pick up is always prompt! The food is very very fresh, everything seems cooked to order. -1 for all those drinks I brought and still didnt even get TIpsy... shame on you TR!

This place is awesome! The rolls are very tasty as always (its hand made in the shop) and the reason why I keep coming back here. There are peanuts avaiable everywhere and are good for munching on. Steaks are the main specialty here. I can go on and on about how good the food is here. The downside of this restaurant is that it tends to be very messy and very loud. Also, long lines tend to form during Friday night rush hour. If you can handle these three things, you will most certainly enjoy this place!

When it comes to chain restaurant this place has it all. Good customer service, great food, GREAT prices. This place is cheap. The rolls are amazing (and free). The loaded sweet potato is my favorite. As is the case with many chain restaurants, the mixed drinks are not very strong. I would say it is definitely one of the top 3 chain places in Bowie which is why I gave 5 stars. It gets crowded...but not as noisy as some other spots here...(TGI Fridays..you can't even eat here it;s so LOUD)

Long wait but totally worth it As a former employee, this is a great neighborhood place to grab ribs or a great burger, and OMG the rolls!!!!!!! Sunday can be a bit crowded due to church communities/gatherings but most of the crowds are very pleasant and most of the wait staff are very friendly and efficient

We have given p on this place. The last time my beef tips and rice were not even close to serving temperature. I the server offered to take it back and have it warmed up - I wouldn't trust anything brought back to the table. I just asked to a to go box and took it home and heated it in the microwave. If it had not been cold, it would have been good. I asked the server to let the manager know about the cold dinner - she came back - managers response is that he is the manager and does NOT have time to talk to customers - unhappy or not. If I ever go back I will have my digital food thermometer to check my food and report it to the health department.

Wondering why the USA is so fat? Just come here! Cheap prices, big portions, and fatty foods. Seems like everything is covered in butter but I wasn't complaining. Service was helpful and fast even though the kitchen made a mistake. Definitely order your steak one medium rare medium turns out medium well. All in all you get a pretty good value here.

One of my top 10 favorite restaurants. Most of the servers and staff are amazing. Manager sometimes comes out to check on everyone and see how they are doing. The unlimited bread is to die for!!! Honestly you cannot find or duplicate this bread anywhere. I am vegetarian and this restaurant is not made for vegetarians but I come here for the bread and it is worth it. I also order some side or appetizer which has no meat and it is fine for me. I have eaten a cheeseburger or two here when I was not vegetarian and it was amazing!!! One of the top ten burgers I have eaten in my life. Great! Love this place, I will always go back!

What do you mean? No lettuce wedge with crumbled blue cheese dressing? **************************************************Â**************************** We happen to be passing a Texas Roadhouse at lunchtime last weekend. Darling Wife has a yen for a lettuce wedge with crumbled blue cheese dressing. Says, "Let's stop at Texas Roadhouse." We sit down. But there is no lettuce wedge with crumbled blue cheese dressing on the menu. We ask Dudley, our server. "Nope," says Duds, "It must be some other steakhouse you have in mind." Nothing exceptional about lunch except the homemade chili was actually pretty good. We share the combination rib-chicken platter which was a little bit of a disappointment. 4 ribs and a heart-shaped boneless chicken breast. The ribs were dry. Aren't Texas ribs supposed to be wet? Or am I as confused as Darling Wife and the lettuce wedge, and my wet ribs are in Memphis? What I'm am going to tell you is an "I kid you not." Piled against the wall are about 20 boxes with big letters that read, "ALLERGEN HAZARD" like they're nuclear waste or something. (Picture posted.) I'm sure they were just peanuts. Kind of an appetite suppresant, but I guess you can't be too careful.

It's ok. It seemed like a pretty average steakhouse to me. Not bad service and not a bad atmosphere. The food wasn't bad either. Everyone always tells me how they've been to other locations and they encourage people to leave the shells of the bucket if peanuts they give you on the floor....but for some reason I've never seen it done at this location.

It was my Dad's 65th birthday. Otherwise, I might have passed. #1 it was 28° and windy! #2 Upon arrival, I was almost was a parking lot victim. Some fellow was WAY ahead of me stopped near a car pulling out of a space; with his blinker on. A car near me backed out. I slipped into the space. The fellow accused me of stealing his space, was acting very threatening, and was waiting for me when I came out. Woo. Prince Georges County Maryland. Very scary. Inside, it was a madhouse. Throngs of people cramming a tiny waiting area. Kids running wild. Obese human beings snorking down slabs of ribs. But I digress. The salted-in-the-shell peanuts and yeasty rolls and cinnamon-butter they pump you full of prior to taking your order are obnoxiously delicious. Our table had the nerve to order the frickles, too. OMG they were well seasoned, fried perfectly, and the dipping sauce was so tasty. The ribs were the truth and the light. Falling-off-the-bone tender. Delicately sauced. And man oh man, were they from a brontosaurus? The half slab I ordered was hunormous. I made it through three ribs before I called it quits and asked for a to-go box. I had a skewer of shrimp and my Dad had a sidekick of catfish. My shrimp were plump and tender; not dry and rubbery. I didn't try the catfish. Don't too much care for it. But he seemed to like it. That's all that mattered. The sides? Stick with things that come in their own natural wrapper. Baked sweet potato. Baked potato. That is about it. I had the baked sweet potato with brown sugar and cinnamon-butter. It was legit. Too legit to quit. The baked potato (covered in bacon bits, cheddar, and sour cream) looked and smelled heavenly. Otherwise, the side choices leave a lot to be desired. The green giant would have been proud of these green beans because they were straight from his can. But I can make a better macaroni and cheese from the box. (At home, at least I doctor it with a lil extra milk, cheese, paprika, and what not. Not Texas Roadhouse.) (And a side of this mac & cheese is an extra $0.99.) The baked beans? Campbell's Pork 'n' Beans. Again, straight from the can. A visit to the restroom was a sight for sore eyes. Overflowing trash cans and a paper towel dispenser that was not only disassembled but spewing paper towels every which way but in the freshly washed hands of those who wanted to dry were total messy wastes of paper. I'd seen staff enter/exit the restroom several times. Guess they were just using the facility; not tending to it...oh well. Oh well. Guess everything can't be perfect. I was happy as long as the ribs were every bit of all that. And they were. AND the birthday "boy" was happy, too. Toss in the waiters with their down-home-Texas style birthday salute (yee-ha!) and a good time was had by all. I'm giving Texas Roadhouse four stars for the ribs and for the super nice servers and staff accommodating my father and his extra-large wheelchair so flawlessly. The sides and restroom left a lot to be desired.

I already wrote a review of this place, but it doesn't pop up. The food is very good and reasonably priced. Service is good. For $10 you can get shelled peanuts, great salad, yummy rolls with cinnamon butter, and an entree with a choice of sides. It is not gourmet food, but it is a fun, cheery place where you get good food for your money.

This place is organized chaos. Who doesn't love that? When you walk in and its your first time, they tell you how to chose your own steak, they grab a basket of rolls and you have a seat. Your menu is already at the table, and all you have to do is order. Here are my recommendations. 1. Order the fried pickles. The batter is well seasoned and compliments the pickle taste. 2. Get the rolls. They can be dessert, lunch, and anything else you want. They are slightly sweet and with the cinnamon butter, they are delicious. 3. Tell them its your birthday. You get to sit on a fake bull and depending on who is leading the waiters, will push you around. (If a girl brings the pull, you'll probably just sit there) 4. (And final) This is one steak house where you may have a better chicken experience. I've had steak here a lot and for a steak house, they are inconsistent. Medium well looked like hockey puck - and who wants to eat their athletic tools. They have great chicken tenders, burgers and sandwiches that make up for their lack of grill skills. The service is good. It employs the youth of the neighborhood, so when you come in, you kind of get that "Hello, neighbor" feeling. It is hard for them to accommodate large parties so if you go with 8 or more people, prepare to get split up at tables in close proximity.

My family has been going to this location since the day it opened and for the first time this last past Saturday, the food was terrible..........my hubby was very upset and was very vocal about it because this is one of favorite family friendly places within our budget. The salads were not fresh at all and we arrive there between 1 and 2 in the afternoon.......Also, my niece ordered the veggie plate and complained that the veggies tasted like their were canned instead of fresh......................my brother complained that his ribs were overcooked and burned..........the potatoe skins from our appetizer was horrible and too hard......the only good things were the rolls and iced teas.....I can't remember our servers name but he wasn't focused as he should be----maybe he was a rookie. Overall, we were so shocked about the food but I've spoked to some of my other friends and co-workers and they said the same that the food wasn't that good anymore at this location. I guess we will find another friendly spot to go to from now on.

Food - 41/2 stars Cleanliness - 1 star Service - 2 1/2 -3 stars The service was chaotic. The food is VERY good and decently priced. The staff, eh - mediocre. The bathrooms?!?! Some of the worst. The trash receptacles in the stalls in the womens room had not been emptied in I would guess weeks.Shudder ick ewwww gross. The baked potato was cold. The ribs are superiorly delicious, truly falling off the bone. Its hard not to fill up on the rolls and peanuts ahead of time.

Have been going to TRH for 4 years and I love it when they have it together, but hate it when they do not! Regardless, the food (nice portions and savory/tasty food every time) is what keeps me returning, and so far with the exception of the super dry baked potato I was served a few days ago, I have had excellent success with their food. However, the waitstaff and the front end personnel are hit or miss. My last experience with TRH was on Sunday @ 3pm, when we entered (there was no one in line nor waiting) we were ignored while the 2 front end girls were chatting away, I had to ask if I could be helped they asked how many in the party (2) and we were told the wait would be 5-10 minutes. After 20 minutes I complained and I stood up and looked directly at the front end people because others were seated promptly before us. Once we were seated our waiter came over after quite a long time, and we soon realized that everything he did would take forever-so every aspect of our interaction eventually did. He brought our drinks and said he was going to get bread, yet the bread never showed up. I caught him between runs with someone else and he snapped at me and said the bread was not cooked yet. I was shocked! He never refilled our drinks, asked what we needed, and was the slowest and weirdest (maybe he was hung over) server I have had at the Roadhouse. Rewind to 4 months ago when we had the best and most exquisite server and experience ever! My advice would be to get to the Roadhouse a few minutes before they open and your dining and front end experience will be wonderful!

Went on Sunday for visiting family. I originally going to rate a 2: the steaks are decent but you should pretend the rest of the menu, including sides and appetizers, doesn't exist. A baked potato should not be crusted in salt to the point where you can't taste the bacon on top! After a dozen trips to the bathroom in the following day or so, where's that zero rating?

I was told about Texas Roadhouse by a good friend of mine so I decided to try it out for my birthday this past weekend. I have to say I really enjoyed eating at this restaurant. It was a very casual atmosphere but the food is very good. Those rolls that they bring you are deeelicious. They are soft, moist and they give you some type of cinnamon butter to put on them and OMG, it is pure heaven. We had about 3 baskets of rolls and we took the last few home to eat later. I think we ate too many cause hubby and me ended up having to take our food home. LOL The chili was off da chain! That was offered as a side to my meal but after eating the bread and the chili, I was full. I also ordered A Jamaican Cowboy which was okay. More tart than I like my drinks to be. I like sweet drinks. My son got a Strawberry Cooler that was non alcoholic and that was very sweet and good. I'll get that next time.

Made plans with the girls (6) to eat here on a random Tuesday evening at 630. Pulling into the shopping center notice, wow there are alot of people here. So while on the phone with another member of the party I call to do call ahead seating. It is now 625. I am placed on hold and by the time I park and get to the door the gentleman on the phone says the wait should be 15 minutes. This day also happened to be their community day, firetrucks, kids, facepainting, etc. So needless to say it was pure chaos in the parking lot, foyer, wait area, hostess area, etc. 630 I walk in and walk up to get a pager for call ahead seating. Party members come and it is now 7 people. Its 650. I walk up to the hostess table and they scramble to find my name......but people that have come after me with larger parties without call ahead seating have already been seated...does that make sense. They say a few more minutes. So 705 the pager goes off and we are walking to our seat, I tell the person that is taking us that there are 7 people and she replies you should all be able to fit in the booth. Ok so we did not fit in the booth. I ask can we add one chair to the end of the both from the bar. Instead of going to get an additional chair she goes to tell the manager there is an additional person in the party. WHOA, so why did you do that. She comes back and says your reservation only says for 6. Yes I realize that and you also said that I would wait 15 minutes and it is almost an hour of waiting to be seated. Realizing that she was not comprehending, we ask for the manager. Now this is the same manager that was at the hostess booth with four other people trying to handle the mess that had been created with seating. Needless to say she was adamant about my number was 6 and that we could wait another 30-45 minutes. I was firm about her saying my original wait was 15 mins. Either way she did not mind losing business as we left and were immediately seated in another nearby restaurant. Manager stated it was a fire hazard, as were all the people standing in the foyer, at the hostess booth, in the waiting area and lined up at the area where bread was being served. The only difference they were waiting and we were seated. All I really wanted was the bread. Was that too much to ask. Luckily I went to another location a few days later that met my bread fix. Manager could have handled the situation better.

This place used to be great a few years ago but quality has gone down. If you like a loud place where you can't hear the person next to you, trash on the floor and your steak over cooked this is the place for you.

Food was decent - service is horrible - restaurant is dirty. floors were worse than any movie theater I've ever been to, empty tables that needed to be wiped down, while wait staff stand around talking or texting. The hostess and waitress acted as if they were doing me a favor. Hostess led me to a table, placed the menu on the table and walked away - not a word was spoken. Waitress came to the table stood without saying a word - I guessed this meant to take my order. When I began to speak - she said "oh wait - I'll be back" and walked away. When she returned - again she simply looked at me. I placed my order and away she went. Food came out in a timely manner, was as I ordered it and tasted as I expected it should. Will go a bit further up the road to Outback next time.

Ever since this place opened, I've just passed the place all the time. On whim, we I decided to eat there after exhausting our usual restaurant spots in Bowie. Not the cleanest place but it's great if you're not looking for anything fancy. It's quickly become one of our favorite places to eat. It's cheap, it's pretty quick and good food. Not the best steaks, but decent food for the price. Most of their entrees include two sides so it's a big meal. Amazing rolls! I'm always temped to continue eating them but then I can never finished my entree so I only allow myself two of them. And personally their chili gives off a slight ammonia taste (I have no idea why, I think it might be the onions?) so I don't touch it anymore. Usually a hit or a miss with service (a hit with servers, a miss with hostesses sometimes). They employ many high schoolers and some college kids? But they're all young.

I went here with my boyfriend, Dad, and boyfriend's parents on Father's Day. Any holiday you have to expect crowds at any restaurants. And that is what we found. Calling ahead of time to try and make a reservation didn't help either, as they don't take them. However, they did take a "call ahead" where you call an hour before your visit and they put your table priority over people who just walk in. A bit strange... but it worked out. We got there and despite huge lines and crowds of impatient diners we were seated within 15 minutes. The wait was made even more tolerable since we could stand at the bar and order drinks. It was a bit of a small area though, but I can understand since it's a sit down restaurant, not a bar, bar. Once we were seated our waiter came to greet us. He seemed less than enthused about everything. Either he hates his job or he was having a bad day. Kind of makes the experience less fun when your server isn't an enjoyable person, but we ordered some yummy food nonetheless. Appetizers came out first - Rattlesnake Bites (fried jalapenos and cheese) and our salads. MY GOD, was this stuff good. The fried jalapenos were delish, something I'd love to try and make at home. Usually, a salad is pretty mundane, but these were so good. Even with some of us ordering house and some Caesar, they all had us commenting how good they were. We all ordered steaks. We're at Texas Roadhouse, duh. I got a filet which was not the best I've ever had but it was good. I'm not a fan of the charring they do to the outside which leaves that burnt sort-of flavor. I would try to order it without that in the future. Everyone else felt about the same - not the best steaks ever but definitely good eats. The "loaded" potatoes was great with bacon and cheese on top. An annoying point of the evening would be when they did their little birthday tradition. The birthday person sits on a saddle while the waiters and waitresses SCREAM their chant. A bit much but kindof cute if you're into obnoxious things like that. I would definitely go back to try more appetizers and try out another filet.

The first thing you notice when entering...the piping hot buttery rolls. They arrive at the same time you are seated! Really soft and good. I've had the ribs, chicken and salads. The ribs are usually pretty good, may have to order extra bbq sauce. The chicken is ok, but the salads are my favorite. Their homemade Italitan dressing is delicious! Prices are reasonable and the kids menu is always a pleaser!

Some of my clients had suggested I come to this restaurant, So I decided to take their word for it.... I am so glad I did. When I first arrived I was taken to a glass refrigerated case that contained fresh cuts of different meats.. I was told to select the kind of cut I would like to order and she even let me pick my own piece out.. I thought that was cute... I was than seated immediately (love that!!) and just as soon as I was seated I was greeted by my soon to be all time favorite server. Her name was Kelsy. Cute all around even had a cute little voice. She was very attentive and had a great personality. I ordered a mean well done Sirloin, loaded mashed potatoes , rice and string beans... I know its a starch overkill but I was curious to try both. So meanwhile I was waiting they served me very delicious rolls with what appeared to be cinnamon butter.... It was great, the rolls were so fresh and delicious!! Make sure you eat some of these if you decide to come and don't worry about spoiling your dinner, it will be a while for them to prepare your very fresh steak. But its worth the wait! So finally my steak has arrived and it was everything I was told it would be!! I was pleased with flavor, portions, service, freshness and quality of food. I was happy :) and full! I even got to watch a live show as the servers all gathered in front of my area and danced to I am guessing their theme song. Very entertaining and the staff remained just as energetic, animated and interactive with the customers all evening. It was a refreshing experience from start to finish! The manager even walked over to see how I enjoyed the evening.. I like that! Thank You James@Texas Roadhouse of Bowie, Md. :-)

I was told great things about Texas Roadhouse, which is probably why I was underwhelmed. The service was good, the staff was really friendly & quick, however my meal - the pulled pork, ribs, chilli, and loaded fries - left a lot to be desired. My bbq was dry, and bland, and my ribs tasted like generic, run of the mill, oven cooked ribs that you can get anywhere. Even the catfish, that my wife raved about on the ride in was met with a mere "meh". Don't get me wrong, it wasn't bad... But, it wasn't worth the 30min drive. I was even unimpressed w/ my vodka peach tea, which tasted like all tea, no vodka. I bagged my meal, but to be completely honest? I tossed it when I got home. I'm sure I'll give Texas Roadhouse a second chance, I'm just not in a hurry to.

This restaurant was a pleasant surprise. We were happy with everything -- service, food, drinks and entrees. My husband had ribs and a ribeye; I had the beef tips with mashed potatoes and green beans. Everything was cooked to perfection and not too salty. The green beans were fantastic -- cooked with pieces of ham. The first restaurant I've been to in a LONG time where it wasn't freezing. Husband liked his marguerita and I had some kind of fruity drink with vodka which was excellent. A pet peeve of mine is service. Our waiter was excellent -- visited our table about 4 times to check on us. Overall a very pleasant experience and we're definitely coming back.

How can you be out of a temperature or ribeye? Placed a to-go order asked for my ribeye medium, they're out of medium. How about medium rare? out of tht too. What do you have? Only well done? Is this wierd to anyone else? but at least the rollds are good.

I am so thrilled about the soft rolls with its delicious cinnamon butter goodness. A friend of my mine said this was her favorite restaurant and I was like what I ve never heard of it. From the fast, friendly service, polite waitress, and to top it all off the unlimited bread my dining experience was outstanding. I went with a friend on a Friday and apparently that is the day of birthdays. The serving crew pulls out a bull seat and the unfortunate birthday sap sits on a bull seat while everyone sangs happy birthday. Let me say esp. to family and friends this will not be my birthday destination. Now if you are hungry for some great food then count me in. I ordered the portabella chicken, which was covered in a gravy brown sauce with mushrooms. The chicken was prepared perfectly. The gravy was a wee bit salty, but it may be my palate because I do not season my food with a lot of salt. Now for the absolute best part. The caramel marshmallow sweet potato-- ding! ding! folks we have a winner! This lil delicious piece of heaven will definitely keep me coming back. The mix veggies were ok but were not cooked soft enough for me. My friend had the catfish, a cinnamon butter sweet potato, and a Caesar salad. She was pleasantly surprised at how good her meal turned out. This was a great recommendation and I would like to oblige by paying it forward.

We love Texas Roadhouse but we no longer dine there anymore. The service hasn't fallen off and the food is still great but our son has SEVERE peanut allergies that make it impossible for us to go to Texas Roadhouse. I really don't want to stab my son in the leg and then spend a evening in the ER over some bomb ribs. This unfortunately makes Texas Roadhouse a not so family friendly restaurant. We are even scared to order the food to go just in case our food might be cross contaminated. I wish they would get rid of the Peanuts so we can go back to our favorite spot. While I understand my kid has issues but we shouldn't suffer due to his special needs. We have friends that used to visit us and still ask to go there to eat and then we explain our issue which makes us have to go to somewhere else. The funny thing is have been to Texas many times and never had peanuts at the front door of a restaurant but maybe they don't do that in Dallas.

I'm always delighted to try out new places and this Texas Roadhouse had just been built not too long ago in Bowie, MD. Myself, with my wife and two friends, decided to try the place out. Upon walking in, you can stop by the meat display and actually pick out the steak that you want to eat for dinner. It was pretty noisy in the restaurant sometimes making it difficult to talk at the table. Moreover the floor seemed to be covered in peanut shells. Some of the waitresses danced in the aisle (although half-heartedly) and that seemed to be pretty neat. We were greeted by three different servers until finally, someone insisted on taking our order. That aside, the main courses were fantastic. Firstly, the rolls were absolutely awesome. They come with cinnamon butter that's good, but, oh my, the rolls. I had the All-American Cheddar burger with steak fries and my wife had the Grilled Chicken Breast entree (I can't remember her side). The meat was well cooked and tender. I tend to like my meat medium and I didn't really notice that it was cooked medium-well. They do serve drinks, take credit cards and have carry out. If you don't mind the noise, this place has some good food.

I've been to this restaurant a few times and it's always busy, but tonight was ridiculous! Because it was rush hour, my best friend & I went to the bar. JB was the bartender for the night & was not personable at all! Once he found out we were there for food he gave us an even colder shoulder. I had to ask the girl working w/ him to wipe down the bar. Not only that, the lady next to me had to literally beg for bread which should be given once you sit down. After placing our order, my BFF's had to request her salad which didn't come until after her main entree. Once we finally got our food, she had to ask for the side of BBQ sauce that she ordered w/ her food. JB asked us one time if everything was alright then went about his busy. The lady next to us told us he had been there since 11am, and by this time it was 8pm. If he can't handle the heat get from behind the bar! My BFF couldn't take it anymore, we had finished our meals and were awaiting someone to ask if we were interested in desert or something else to drink, so she got up to complain to the manager. The food was okay, my string beans were salt b/c of the over killed bacon, but other than that we were good on the food. Our gripe is with the poor customer service and the I don't giva attitude. Both of the bartenders lacked enthusiasm and could use some customer service retraining! Ups selling customer's helps w/ a bigger tip and so does periodic check ins.

the place is ok, decent food, and they hired all those high school kids, feel like we sat in the high school cafetria, the only thing i dont like this place is the hostess, i been here 4 times, everytimes when u came here, walk in the door, for the first 50 seconds, they wont pay any attention to u, even know u say: hey tobale for ..., they just continue with their chat, thinking they r working on a big case or something, come on, u just hostting in a restaurant, not in the white house, WAT A JOKE

(4)Jay S.

(1)Biohazard D.

Drinks were Great salad was even better, love the rolls and the service will update comments when I eat and of course drink here again
(3)Nikki G.
(1)Hope K.

I dont do well with restayrants that dont respect my time.., More to come
(2)Lynne S.
(5)Mia N.
We had a great time, I don't know if it's because we went on a weekday at 5 pm. No lines, and no long waits for food. The server was very good and prompt. The food was good. Can't beat a dinner for 3 for $50. You could get full on the complementary bread and peanuts, alone.
(5)Lauren G.
(2)Megan P.
(2)Yvonne M.
(3)Sally M.
I had the ribeye and it was soo bland even with mushrooms. The service was very sketchy also. Our waiter rarely came to check on us and was very unfriendly. It seemed like he was in a bad mood that night probably because it was crowded. I see no reason to return here.
(2)Miss R.

Great food but service was extremely slow. We had a party of 9 and we ordered our food at 8 and did not get our food till 10:15!!! I know we had a large party but this is ridiculous!! Go to the one in Pasadena instead!!!

(2)Nicolas B.
(3)Alexander W.

(3)Odalis H.
(1)Chris W.

Not bad at all...Only a fan of their rolls and margaritas. My family loves this place though. I heard the snake bites are a hit but I don't like Snake bites. Anywho, To each is own
(3)M G.
Great food, Friendly staff, this is our second time here and we love it. Try it you will not be disappointed
(5)David M.
(1)Joyce F.
Words can't explain how good the food and service is you just have to try it for yourself !!!
(4)Stu F.
(5)Joseph L.
Awesome food, great specials, and 2.50 beers during happy hour. Free bread and peanuts, and sometimes some fun country dancing. It's a good time for sure

(4)Dominique W.
This place is me and hubbys new favorite place. From the time our waiter brought out the bread everything was delicious. I mean we literally enjoyed everything. The portions were very generous as we both had to pack our food up to go. Our server was great very friendly and welcoming. This was our first time but definitely wont be our last!
(5)Larry G.

(4)Valencia S.
Come here a lot since it's so close to home. Love the rolls and can't forget the ribs.
(4)Faith P.
Food and drinks are great but the parking and the wait to get in are always ridiculous. I can walk there and don't go often because of the wait and lack of parking.
(3)Drew P.
(5)Vidal D.
Gave it another chance. Bar atmosphere was ok. Bartenders are attentive. Food was much better. I've actually been back a couple times, just to the bar area for a quick app or salad.
(4)Darrell K.

Maybe, I will try a chicken entree at the steakhouse ..,.,
(2)S C.
This place is consistently good. Yeah, theres a wait usually. But all the steaks are hand cut in house and the rolls are fantastic. Ribs are solid too. Always a good meal. Better than outback up the road for sure.
(4)J S.
Excellent food. The Wednesday deals are great--just be sure to ask because not all of the servers know to tell you.
(5)Dawn C.
(1)Ken M.
(3)Tamika H.
(3)Aimee C.
(2)Leiah B.

Whew.
(5)Carmen H.
I am hard as heck to please so believe me when I say this place was AWWWWWWSOME!!!!!!!!!! We had the best time today. The drinks is a must the beer ICE COLD! And our server Carlos was the BEST! Please hit this place up.
(5)Kimberly L.

(3)Erika J.
(2)B W.
(4)Carolyn L.
One of my favorite places to eat! My server J.Cole, was excellent!! He made sure our cups stayed full, our food was perfect and brought over dinner rolls right away when we asked! He was a fun person to be around after having a long day at work. Food was delightful as always!!!!
(5)Cyndi S.
My company PYNKE had a fundraiser here and their food is fab! The service is great and the manager was awsome.
(5)Leichardti F.
Nothing spectacular, another Texas Roadhouse. The good thing is that since it is in the middle of no where, the long lines that usually accompany meal times at a Texas Roadhouse are much shorter at this location!
(3)Amanda K.

First time there. Good service. The steak was ok. I thought it would be better.... Not in a rush to return.

(5)Lana G.

(3)Platt F.

Love these Texas Roadhouse Restaurants. Damn good steaks, ribs, salads. Decent prices, but long waits. I'm sad they closed the one in Rehobeth Beach Delaware.
(4)Curtis B.

This place is so nice the staff is pleasant and the dinner rolls with that cinnamon butter is to die for and you can not beat the prices love going there at the drop of a hat and know that I won't be breaking the bank give it a try
(4)Debby C.

Its hard not to fill up on the rolls and peanuts ahead of time.

yummy!! Perfect dinner experience!

I really like coming here for dinner. Their menu is nice and we always get a great dinner. I leave feeling like we had a goo time and a good dinner. It competes with outback and the last couple of time we decided to come here instead.

I have gone there several times and had wonderful service and food each time. The catfish platter is my favorite. The food comes out the same each time. Only once did I have a wait and I had to conveince my friends it was worth it, and it was!!

(2)Tom I.

(5)Asja R.

(4)Craig R.
