Me and my son LOVE this place! Never disappointed with the sandwiches. They're always bursting with filling and the Italian oil is just the icing on the cake. The guys are really nice and FAST and can accommodate you in your tastes. Ex. I can only take so many of the banana peppers but we do admit that it adds to the taste so we usually ask for literally 2 slices of banana peppers; one on both ends of the sandwich and they do it with a chuckle Very flavorful TREAT. Hope they're around forever.

The staff here is always friendly and courteous but today takes the cake. There was a huge order today of the images that contained bacon. I don't eat pork or mayonnaise and today before the young lady made my sandwich she removed her gloves. I am a nurse and I always think about cross contamination and food allergies. I really appreciated her for taking time to do that. Thumbs up! I wish I could give her a shout out but I was in a rush so I didn't ask her name.

Update on my review. Big Kahuna Cheese Steak is great. I am not sure what the fuss is about with Philly cheese steaks because I have been there and tried that and those lines are silly for what you get. I order the Big Kahuna Cheese Steak often. I also love there Meatball and Cheese Melted provolone, tomato sauce and Parmesan cheese. I am kicking myself for not ordering this initially. If I had ordered any of those two initially then I would have given this establishment a higher rating. Sorry Jersey Mikes hope this update rights the wrong from two years ago. They must be doing well because there still open and its been 2 years. Decor - 4 Food - 4 Service - 4

Welcome to Flavor Town! This was my first time trying Jersey Mike's and after the most delicious cheesesteak I've had in a while, it won't be my last. I ordered the #56 Big Kahuna Cheesesteak and it was oh soooo good. Granted, I was starving like a hostage, but I know a good thing when I taste it. It comes with grilled onions, peppers, mushrooms, jalapenos and extra cheese. I held the onions and peppers, but added tomatoes, mayo and lettuce. I may be in the dark, but I never thought to add jalapenos to my cheesesteaks and it's just what it needed...a burst of heat...but not too much. It's a few steps above Subway and a little more costly too. They have everything from Wraps like Buffalo Chicken, to Hot Subs like Meatball and Cheese, to Cold Subs like a Club Sub. I live in the area and I get frequent coupons where I can buy any sub and get a free bag of chips and a soda. Not too shabby of a deal. I can't recall the options for the sizes of subs that are available, but I know I got the 7'' and it was plenty for me. The bread choices are wheat or white and the wheat bread I had was very fresh. This sandwich was so good, I plan on going back this weekend! Addicted Much? LOL!

I've been here maybe a dozen times since it opened. They used to hand out cards for a free drink and chips if you ordered a sandwich back then, and since I worked in that shopping center, the cards were often placed under my windshield. I get one thing when I go to Jersey Mike's and that is a giant Chipotle Cheesesteak, I think its a #43, and its just a cheesesteak with grilled peppers, onions, and a chipotle mayo. Their giant subs are enormous, so much so that I usually can't finish a whole one with both drink and chips. And that's saying something, because I always clean my plate! I'd had cheesesteaks before, usually at local chains that specialize in pizza, and of course I've gotten them from both Gino's and Pat's up in Philly; but this is where I would go every time I want a cheesesteak. I am part of the "soft-bread" camp, whereas some people prefer crustier rolls for their sandwich. This place has fantastic soft pillowy rolls that I think make every sandwich they serve better. Even though its teenagers that work there, I always find the service to be pretty friendly. I rarely dine in, but the chairs and tables there are clean and inviting while you wait for your sandwich to be made; and they bring it right to you, where they could just as easily call your name and have you pick up your sandwich from the counter. Hands down, if you want a cheesesteak in Bowie, or anywhere within 20 miles of a Jersey Mikes (I know they have ones in Owings Mills, Timonium, and Dover, DE), this is the place to go.

Good fresh sandwhiches. Went a few times and haven't gone since it opened, I guess I'm not really a fan of it since I like my sandwhiches where I don't feel as though I could buy the ingredients and make it at home. I prefer sandwhiches like at firehouse subs more but every time I've gone to jersey mikes it's been pretty good.

The best subs by far. Fresh sliced meats. Beats JJs, Carps, subway, firehouse, all of them. I'm hooked on the roast beef, but the Italians are fabulous too.

It is pretty average. As far as where this brand lands, I would say that I prefer this place over Subway but not as much as Firehouse Subs, but would rate all three places 3-4 stars.

I've heard from a number of people how great this chain is. Then the Yelp reviews seem to confirm it. Now that I finally tried it, I don't get it. It wasn't bad. The quality was just average. The serving size was small (large bread and not a lot of meat). The Chesapeake Grill just a few doors down in much better and you should go down there instead.

food great, service is slow but that is their process. the staff is very nice and courteous. it is nice to see young people working hard with a great customer service attitude. When we went in it was a very hot day and my wife had to step outside it was so hot. I don't care as long as long as the food is good, but we were carrying out, there was no way my wife could have sat down to eat. I highly recommend any sub as they are terrific and heads and shoulders better than any other sandwich place around here

I've been here a few times now and I've always liked the sub I bought. It's not like Subway where everything is pre-cut, pre-sliced, pre-measured. It's all hand sliced while you wait. The ingredients are excellent and tasty and the staff has always been super friendly even when it's busy . They don't have a ton of choice but they have enough and they don't have a ton of add-ons like Subway but they have enough for my taste. I definitely wish there were more of them around.

I used to go to this place....UNTIL I saw one of the guys that preps the food sticking a finger in his ear and another one fixing their hair WITH THEIR GLOVES ON! So it is safe to say that I am not going to that place anymore. I let the high ups know about what I saw and that was the last time I was there.

Went there for dinner on a Friday night for the family. This is a new location to the Bowie area so we decided to check it out! Overall, it was good! You just have to make your choices carefully. And I'm not 100% positive, but I don't think they use mayo on the sandwiches. I think it is totally oil and vinegar! So keep that in mind! It isn't a problem to me, but it can be for some! We called the order in because in order to order on line, you have to pay for it online! FYI!! Inside the restaurant, there are different lines to order and pay. Because we already ordered, we went to the line to pay and pick up! There were 3 young ladies just standing there! Not really asking if we needed help! They eventually did and we got out order and left! We ordered the Famous Roast Beef and Provolone, the Chicken Parm, the Jersey Mike's Famous Philly, and a Turkey Breast and Provolone. The roast beef is without mayo (they use oil perhaps on the bread), so my mother thought it was dry! She also needed to add salt to her sandwich! Just an heads up! The Chicken Parm was good, but nothing too special. The Turkey Breast was good as well! I ordered a mini because it was for my 3-year old. It had raw onions on it too, which was a no-no for my toddler! She took them off as fast as she could! But it was just a turkey breast sandwich; nothing special, but still good! However, the Famous Philly was definitely a winner! Very good! The beef was tender and the peppers were sweet! Just as it should be! The bread was also very soft! Clearly this was the sandwich that I had! Very good! Definitely getting it again!! I totally enjoyed my sandwich and I will definitely be going back again! Definitely a good addition to Bowie and the Hilltop Shopping Center!

This place has great subs and excellent customer service! Every time I'm in the area I try to make a point to stop by. They slice their meat and cheeses fresh in front of you. The staff are always recommending new sandwiches and are very friendly.

Not any better that Subway. They make a big production of slicing your meat and cheese, but they don't really put much on. They do put way too much lettuce one. The bread, which is often key to a great sandwich, is pretty bland.

Nothing special. They do not toast the rolls, which is the biggest reason I do not return. Big deal you slice the meat in front of me....the roll gets mushed out unless you eat it there and instantly :/ 1 fatal flaw

Been dying to try this place, but it's kind of out of the way of my apartment, so I finally made it in tonight. Staff was very polite. They slice the meat to order, which is pretty neat, but kinda took a long time. My only beef is that I got my sandwich home and the bread was SO soggy because the kid doing the oil and vinegar went gangbusters on my sub. Otherwise, I'm sad I only got a mini because it was tasty and I'm still hungry!

As someone who is a native New Yorker, grew up in New Jersey and went to college near Philadelphia, I was used to very excellent subs, bagels, etc. I've been in the DC area for more than 16 years, so when I first had Jersey Mike's which was a regular Club Sub on white it was like a mind altering flashback- I was like OMG I don't know what kind of subs I had been eating all these years, but the Jersey Mike sub brought it all back. The sub was perfect. thinly sliced onions, lettuce tomatoes, and of course the requisite bacon to top off any club sandwich. Since discovery Jersey Mike's I can't bring myself to go back to the likes of subway, etc. its no comparison. The shop in Bowie is good operation, although not as large as the one over in Laurel( yes I have tried both..lol) I think service needs to be a little faster, but since they only recently opened I figure you gotta give it a few more months. The staff is friendly, and helpful. Portions were generous and well priced. I generally get the Club Sub, but I have also had the Philly which is pretty decent for this region. Overall a very reasonably priced alternative to the other sub shops and the food actually fresh and top quality deli selections. -Give it a shot.

I was just here a few days ago and it was okay. I ordered a #42 Chicken Cheesesteak with chipotle mayo. I thought the sandwich was large until I realized it was mostly bread. I picked off most of the bread. Sandwich was great and there was a steady stream of customers coming in so I'm guessing it's pretty popular. All in all, I'd come again if someone else suggested it but it's certainly not memorable
