Terrible! Last night I went with some friends and it was a mess! There was a creepy guy dressed in a snow suit walking around saying he was the building manager. There was a heater plugged up in the wall. No one had their IHOP uniform on, The manager was very nasty when asked for simple things. A friend of mine went to the bathroom and passed the kitchen and saw the manager put her hands on top of the pancakes to see if they were warm. He mentioned something to her and she got an attitude with him. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!! BEWARE!

I went last night around 8PM (a Saturday) and the host was friendly and seated us right away. The server was fine as well. She was polite and checked on us as needed. The food came out fast, but the yogurt looked like it was starting to turn (but tasted alright) as did some of the fruit on the fruit and yogurt crepes. The food quality was alright, but doesn't look like the pictures as others have stated. I've gone here many times and it has always been alright for me. Nothing excellent, but nothing too bad either.

I came here once with the Missus to eat breakfast after we realized the line for early voting was a mile long. Since we were out anyway and this place was close to the polling location, we stopped in. It's OK. It's an IHOP. It wasn't very crowded at 8:00am and the service was decent, the food was good and I would definitely come here, again, if I was in the mood for IHOP.

My favorite server is back from his 1 year hiatus and I'm oh so happy!!! David is the best server, hands down, that I've ever encountered. Everyone that comes into this IHOP knows him and he knows them. The customer service from him is extraordinary and my family and I love that he came back! Although, I will say that the majority of the servers that we've encountered have been pretty friendly. Besides David, I would come here for the music alone! I'm a big music lover, especially oldies R&B and Soul and the music here makes you want to get up and dance. They have Sirius Radio on the speakers throughout the restaurant, entrance and waiting area. Best music I've heard in a while in a restaurant. Now on to the food, what can you say, it's an IHOP! Clearly the most popular is the pancakes and they are always piping hot and delicious. They also have awesome omelettes, creative beverages and a not too shabby cheese steak. I never come here on a Saturday or Sunday later than 9a.m. because it can get overly crowded. The best time to come is on the weekday or early in the morning on the weekend. It's clean, you can usually get your food pretty quickly and the wait time for a table is slim to none. I would warn you to stay away from the chicken and waffles though. The chicken was so rock hard, the roof of my mouth was sore for an entire week. I almost thought I was going to chip a tooth while crunching on it. Plus the waffle was pretty bland. No bueno on that particular meal, but usually a good breakfast experience.

I liked this location much more than others I've been to in the area. We went on a Wednesday evening, and it was nearly deserted. That meant our server was incredibly prompt, attentive, friendly, and all around amazing. The bathrooms were remarkably clean, too. That's so rare in an IHOP, but it said a lot to me about their management and perhaps other cleaning practices. The manager was also incredibly friendly. She didn't hover or anything like that, but it was clear that she paid attention to what was happening with customers and wanted them to have a good impression and experience. Again, this wasn't my typical IHOP experience at all. The food was solid - you know what you're getting with an IHOP, so I wasn't disappointed. I also like that they have kids eat free in the evenings. I'm never against saving a few bucks!

Don't go to a diner and eat breakfast and come here. You will realize that breakfasts are much better at a diner. Service was fast and friendly. Big Plus that they are 24/7. If you don't have other options, then come on over. Nothing bad, mostly just plain.

I have always been a fan of IHOP so once again, i ordered the Garden Omelette with the side of pancakes. As usual, this location was extremely busy but were were seated relatively quickly. Once seated she took our orders and we had our food in no time. This was once again a great visit. There were three of us and all of us had a bank card. Even though the sign said No split checks on weekends, the girl was gracious enough to split our check for us. (while pointing to the sign of course. I will be back again... unless the Crofton location opens before then.

The service was the worse. Well let me be more specific. The hostess was nice, greeted us when we came in, the restaurant wasn't crowded so we were able to be seated right away. All of the waiters and waitresses seem to be college students. Our waitress came right over and took our order. It was 4 of us and we got utensils for 2. Finally I decide to get up and get us 2 more sets of utensils. My son looks at his knife and it's dirty so that immediately grossed me out. I asked for a cup of boiling hot water and put my utensils in it because at the point I was going a little crazy about the dirty knife. Ok, now to the food. I get my caramel hot chocolate with no caramel syrup on top. I know this may not be a big deal to some but what enticed me to get the hot chocolate was 1) it was cold 2) it looked really good on the menu WITH whip cream and caramel so that is what I was expecting. I understand if they had ran out of caramel or whatever but of course my waitress paid no attention to that because she was busy playing with her co-workers. Food came out hot. My French toast was under cooked. It was mushy and soggy on the inside. The provolone was dropped on the top of my eggs either put in the microwave or under the heat lamp to melt. Not even mixed in my eggs SMH Needless to say my son and I barely ate the French toast. In the meantime our waitress has barely checked on us and we needed refills on our drinks that never came. Again she was too busy playing with her co-workers in front of the kitchen around the corner from where we were sitting. I originally gave this place 1 star but decided to give 2 because the hostess was like a "mom" kind of person and she was nice. The bathroom was clean and so was the restaurant. They really need to train there staff on being professional and mindful of there customers needs.

DO NOT!!! I repeat DO NOT get take out from here. Called this morning to place a carry out order. They said 20 minutes, we live 10 minutes away so hubby left five minutes after I called. When he gets there two out of the three orders are ready, he proceeds to wait another 10 minutes for my simple order of eggs and hash browns. Meanwhile, his order and my sons order are sitting in their lobby (where it is cold from the windows and doors) the entire time getting colder and colder. He asked why they don't keep the orders in the kitchen area where it is warmer while they wait for the entire order to be completed so good doesn't get cold. "We don't do it like that here". Really!? You don't want your customers to be happy when they get home with their food? Thank goodness Bob Evans is right up the street, we will no longer be ordering carry out from here. And don't even get me started on the mistakes they've made on prior orders. Lesson learned IHOP way to lose business.

I swear that if I go to this establishment one more time and they don't cook my eggs correctly, I think I just may lose it. No I am not complaining about them making me scrambled verses over easy. No I am talking them NOT cooking my eggs to a point that they have clear slime still just chilling out next to the clearly undone yoke. How does someone not see that before sending it out to paying customers is beyond me. Okay, my small mini rant is over. To the review: This Ihop is small and quite frankly horrible. The staff (save for maybe 1 or2) feel that we (the paying customers) are on their time. I cannot tell you how many time I have gone and the hostess has been off in a corner holding a conversation, looked over at my party, and continued talking. The waitresses feel that they don't need to greet you when they come to your table or even say what their name are for that matter. One of the older male waiters seems to semi flirt with the women, but maybe that's just his way of trying to get a good tip. The booths always have trash under them and right when I am in the middle of eating, a waitress always chooses that time to reach across my food to grab and restock the condiments. Ummmm 'kay. Almost every time that I go the front end staff are always loudly yelling to the back kitchen staff as if were at a pep rally opposed to you know A BUSINESS. The food honestly isn't all that great. I only ever get breakfast so its only but so much screwing up with that, that one can do. But even that has happened. The only thing that this place has going for it in my book is that it is close and convenient to my house and the fact that I would rather eat there than that god awful Bob Evans on 301. If you know how to cook, than I would recommend just staying in and making it yourself. That way you dont waste money on terrible service and mediocre food.

Cold food? Check. Undercooked food? Check. Some weird green substance in my eggs? Check. Unsatisfied and vow to never go back? However, to be fair, free meal? Check. We gave this place TWO chances to get it right and both times they failed. I'm just puzzled how this place a.) stays in business and b.) always looks crowded.

Stay away! I gave this place a fair shot. Been there three times. It's filthy, the waitstaff and the cooks apparently just don't care about their work. Q. What's the difference between IHOP and McDonalds? A. The food at McDonalds will look exactly like the pictures on the menu, while the food at IHOP will look NOTHING like the pictures on the menu. Case in point: My most recent visit to IHOP in Bowie yielded the following results when I ordered the Sampler Breakfast. The crisp bacon featured on the menu became flabby, oily, limp slices of fatty pork. The plump juicy sausage links came out as shriveled dark overcooked links that must have been reheated from the day before. The golden crisp hash brown potatoes were a horrid mess of greasy, undercooked shredded bits of potato. The light and fluffy blueberry pancakes were actually raw in the middle. (Hello!!!! You have "Pancake" in your name. Please get that bit right) The eggs over easy... were eggs over easy. They were actually really good. Please note: I arrived at IHOP at 7:30AM on a Wednesday morning. I was one of only 3 customers in the restaurant. It's not like they were overwhelmed, it seems to me, with the exception of their hostess, they were completely and totally apathetic. One last note of comparison between IHOP and McDonalds, at McDonalds, you won't feel obligated to leave a tip for indifferent service.

I wish I could give 0 stars. We have given this location of IHOP 2 chances. Both times were in the evening on weeknights. First time the girl didn't write the order down and got some things wrong. The belgian waffles were hard as a rock, got sent back, and came back undercooked. Pancakes were undercooked, hash browns were greasy, service was horrible and incredibly slow. When we checked out the woman asked how everything was and we told her about it. No apology, no response, nada. Second time there were 5 of us - myself, my husband, my sister in law, my son and my nephew. There is a huge sign on the window that says Kids Eat Free from 4pm-10pm. My husband ordered a sandwich, my sister in law and I are both vegetarians and ordered appetizers as meals. When we went to check out at the register we were told only 1 kids meal would be free because there was only one "entree" ordered. Are you kidding me? We said that was ridiculous, complained that the waitress didn't inform us of that when we ordered (had we known, we would have changed our orders). We said we wanted to talk to a manager. She said "I am the manager." We said "ok so where is the fine print, where does it say you have to order an 'entree'?" She walks out from behind the counter, goes over to a free-standing sign near the hostess stand that is advertising holiday flavored coffees, and TURNS THE SIGN AROUND to show the Kids Eat Free sign. (It does say one free kids meal per adult entree.) So we asked why it wasn't displayed in plain sight, and she said "because thats what we're advertising right now" (referring to the coffee) and then she had the nerve to say "and because its been going on for so long that EVERYBODY ALREADY KNOWS." (referring to the kids eat free promotion). Really? Everybody already knows? Thats the excuse? Please note that the ENTIRE time we're having this conversation with this woman, the expression of annoyance on her face didn't change, she did not apologize, NADA. (yes, the same woman from the first time). Now, we're talking about $5 here. However, since were were out Christmas shopping we figured why not save a few bucks? All in all, what upsets me the most is her poor attitude, lack of customer service, and the fact that these people just honestly DON'T CARE about ANYTHING. We ultimately stopped arguing with her because she didn't give a sh*t and we were wasting our breath. Don't go...

We ate here on Memorial Day holiday. It's best to come early. This one is busy on weekends, especially on Sunday after the Masses lets out. The red velvet pancake special was yummy!
(4)Daniel M.
Its decent, eh no frills.. after all it is Ihop. Food is okay. Service is decent.
(3)Ken M.

Usually this place has good service but today. Mother's day was awful maybe because was busy but is not excuse if management and team are prepare for a busy day
(2)Lena W.
(4)Darrell K.
Don't go to a diner and eat breakfast and come here. You will realize that breakfasts are much better at a diner. Service was fast and friendly. Big Plus that they are 24/7. If you don't have other options, then come on over. Nothing bad, mostly just plain.
(2)Erica J.

(1)Adrian S.
I used to come here . In short, wait staff are always friendly, food is prepared in a timely fashion and the restaurant, including the bathroom has always been clean.
(4)Crystal H.
Come during the week! Easy parking and little wait time! I't's Ihop! The food is consistently just good and they service is just good! Nothing outstanding and definitely nothing fancy!
(2)Jonathan H.
So smelly, horrible food, bad service, too long to wait. Just horrible!! Never come here. The reason I came because it's my family's choice
(2)Shelby N.
(2)Adrienne M.
Cold food?
(1)Bunmi A.
Stay away! I gave this place a fair shot. Been there three times. It's filthy, the waitstaff and the cooks apparently just don't care about their work. They repeatedly fail to get the order right, deliver messy plates to you with burnt eggs and a finger print in your food. You're better off having a bowl of cereal at home.
(1)Patrick H.
(2)Kim C.
Don't go...

It's a ihops! Everything is sticky with syrup. Food is ehhhh. But the owners are idiots! Dont get me started on that. I dont even know who let them into this country to begin with? They should not be running a restaurant.
