I was in the area and need to eat so I could take some medication. Ordered the wonton soup and an order of dumplings, and specifically asked that the dumplings be on the crisp side. Instead of the lovely golden broth one expects in wonton, this version tasted like beef broth from a can. The dough in both the wontons in the soup and the dumplings was so heavy and doughy that I ended up drinking the broth and discarding the dough. The dumplings were not "well done" as I had requested and the dough was at lest 1/2" think. Very disappointing.

Love this restaurant. It has been our local Chinese restaurant for 5 years. General fare, nothing fancy... if you want fancy go to Grace's. Crab rangoon is freshly made, Beef lo mein, General Tsao Chicken (white meat chicken) is superb. Made the rounds to the other local mom and pops and this is def the best in the area. Clean kitchen, quick service.

Used to be the best Chinese carryout in the area but it's changed. It's been renovated. Different people working there. Food still good but only comparable to other nearby places. Possibly under new management.

This place is average to below average for my taste. The fried rice was blanch and tasteless, the sesame chicken has too breading and was not crispy, the egg roll has old oil smell to it. Overall, I have had better Chinese food than this.

It's ok. I don't expect much from a carry out place like this. I would rather spend a little more and go to graces or the Chesapeake grille.

I have been eating here for about dour years and have found the food and service to be consistent. I love the Hunan Tofu and green beans. The food is always fresh and tasty. Delivery has always been prompt and accurate with the exception of a few occasions. I recommend a try.

I love their crab rangoon. It is just the right amount of sweetness and they don't fry them too long. The beef lo mein is good and so is the fried rice. The sweet and sour chicken is standard and so are the egg rolls. They could cook the egg rolls a little longer I think. Pretty decent, fairly priced.

THis place takes over an HOUR just to deliver food! They don't tell you its going to take long and when I called at exactly an hour later the lady RUDELY replies "I'm sending my driver right now!" NEVER deliever here unless you have over 2hrs to wait for it. To top it of when the guy delivers he says to me "we were busy and this is too far maybe you should order from chiense places closer to you!" RUDE! RUDE! RUDE!

Every neighborhood should have a good Chinese take out restaurant like this. They deliver too.

So I got the chicken and mix vegetables. Good portion size, good assortment of veggies (carrots, broccoli, corn, mushrooms, cabbage, green beans and celery). Veggies crispy and not overcooked. But alas the chicken was almost mushy. I want to say it was over tenderized so it is not recognizable as chicken. And not a brown sauce, the cornstarch thickened but no saice type. Kitchen looked really clean and you could see them cooking. So I will be back but not for a chicken dish.

Close by so we get delivery from here, typical Chinese take out fare. Ordered an entree from the health option (steamed, no oil used, sauce on the side from two choices) but they forgot my sauce and I was bummed as it is pretty bland without sauce considering it is just the meat and veggies steamed. Soups are good not all clumpy like it's been sitting in a pot for days simmering all the water out so that is a plus. Good lazy night take out.

There is a vast Chinese food factory someplace that cranks out boring Chinese food, freezes it and sends it off to places like this. If you are jonesing for Chinese, this will fill the hole. But the last time I went there I became violently ill. Service was slow. Golden Pavilion is a much better Chinese Restaurant, as is Graces Fortune.

I ordered general tso and spring rolls. The spring rolls were thinner than my pinky. The chicken was alright. From now on I will just pick up my Chinese from Annapolis on my way home.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
