Their sandwiches are much better than the food options available from the self-service section. I ordered a grilled chicken breast avocado sandwich for lunch and that was delicious. They were very generous with the chicken breast and the fresh avocado slices, leaving me stuffed afterwards. Prices are also super reasonable, at around $6/sandwich. I'm a fan.

This place is spot on as far as consistently delicious lunches are concerned. I have had the spinach wrap, taco salad and the philly cheesteak multiple times. Every time Jean's knocks it out of the park. My co-workers' meals always looked good too and no one ever had complaints. Great prices makes it even better.

Yes, I took that job... on my 1st day I found out I was the Project Manager of NO ONE!!!! yeah....I know...what the heck.... when I can escape to Jean's deli, I get the wonderful selection of daily fresh fruit....and at lunch the "don't go hungry vegetarian friend" buffet. You know I hte buffet.I'm there at 11:30am and I can fill my styrofoam take out container for $6.59 per lb... Seems like a nice place...if you read my buffet reviews I get sick a lot...and my egg allegy and others did not kick in at this place...yay 4 stars,....my NOT having hives bumps you an extra star....korean options are a plus!!!

This place is my go to place for lunch in the area (okay, I've been in Bethesda for about three weeks now). I always get the grilled chicken sandwich and add the cucumber sauce. It is absolutely delicious. Prices are extremely reasonable for any area, and especially for Bethesda. The building it is located in is being renovated, so I'm sure that is one of the reasons that not many people know about this place.

Banging breakfeast sandwitchs, and great service. They make the eggs for the sandwitchs the real way(no microwave or eggs you pour out of a can). Overall just a good deli in Bethesda. Ps Jean is awesome

I absolutely love Jean's deli. Jean always greats you with a smile and her staff is very friendly. Be careful, it gets busy at lunch! BUT, if you don't mind a brief wait, you'll be filled with delicious, fresh food! Love, love, love Jean's!

Also in the Air Rights Building, Jean's Deli is another great place to get lunch in Bethesda. Jean's happens to be my office's favorite place, especially for breakfast. So whenever you say to a co-worker that you're "going across the street", their first reaction is, "To Jean's?" I started going to Jean's after I discovered Nabi's Lunch Box (just down the hall). I go to Nabi's more often so I felt like I was cheating on them by going to Jean's. *(Like I said...I have loyalty issues.) I can't say that I really like one more than the other as I think they both are about equal in quality and in price. Jean's does have better lunch specials though - the prices are about $5. Jean's offers a buffet (by the pound) and lots of sandwich options. This particular day, I decided to get a tuna melt. My melt and a bag of chips were roughly $6 - a vast improvement in price from competitor across the street, Brown Bag where I usually end up paying $9. The tuna melt had the perfect crunchy outer layer to the butter-toasted rye bread and the melted cheese was just right. Yeahh, good stuff. Final verdict between Nabi's and Jean's? My office's vote would be Jean's but I think you really you can't go wrong with either.

Good sandwiches and hot bar. Sometimes the food on the hot bar look really good, I'm not one for buffet style food but usually if I get down there and one of the first to take a helping then I'll go for it. The food here looks pretty decent such as their fried rice and chicken and vegetables. Sandwiches are good too especially their grilled chicken with avocado. I haven't tried their soups but I have tried their taco salad w/ chili. Now I am huge taco salad fan, I just think it's a fun meal and who doesn't want to eat a salad out of a taco shaped into a bowl...just like ice cream in a waffle bowl. But this taco salad is no taco salad of my liking, it a salad made of iceberg lettuce with onions cheese sour cream and tortilla chips with a side of chili. REALLY WTF? Ghetto style taco salad. It's complicated to eat because your fork doesn't pick up tortilla chips very well and I can't figure out if I should dump the bowl of chili into the container of lettuce or pick up a bunch of lettuce dip in chili and take a bite of a chip. I gave up and because it upsets my stomach I avoid it like the plague. I prefer to come here over Nabi's for their breakfast platters and their eggs because it taste more real and lets me get my guilty pleasure (bacon, egg, and cheese on croissant) and their breakfast platters come with hash browns YUM! I wouldn't come out of my way for food but because I work in the Air Rights building it does the job.
