The first question is, "Where is this place?" since it does a great job of being hidden behind the Wells Fargo drive-thru. Once you find Besta, it's a pretty good deal for a hungry family. The x-large will feed 3+. It's probably the best value on the large menu. If you are going to get a salad, go for the large; the small is only $1 less for half the food. I'm sure this makes sense to someone, but we couldn't figure it out. Large salads, it is. They have a take-out (non-delivery) special that's not posted. Worth asking about. Will drop in again.

The food is great! But the delivery times are totally unpredictable. They tell you 30 min - hr less than it will actually be (this has happened 5 times so I feel confident saying, every time!) the pizza is amazing but it's super annoying!! Don't order unless you plan on being hungry later!

I was in the mood for Italian food, and a perusal of GrubHub brought me to Besta Pizza. When I called the restaurant to place a delivery order, I was put on hold for a while because there was confusion as to whether I was out of delivery range (I live in Silver Spring, but still just 2.5 miles away). When I was taken off hold and made subject to a lot of background noises and rustling for the next few minutes, I eventually got frustrated after five minutes of waiting and hung up. I filled out GrubHub's online form instead. In spite of the previous hiccup, Besta Pizza had great delivery time: it was twenty-five minutes shorter than the minimum they had given me. The delivery man was friendly. For the price, I wish the quality had been a bit better. I'd say my the biggest disappointment was in the less-than-average mozzarella sticks. I'd say they needed to be cooked more on the outside.

Oh man I love this place. Simple skinny pizza slices. No frills, no extra sauce to make the cheese slide off and always ready in like 10 mins. Its a little off the Wisconsin Ave strip, but these guys rule. The lady does not care for this place, but her taste is usually irrelevant to me.

We love this place because its the only pork-free pizza place around. Despite this niche they sometimes do wacky things do their loyal customers. On their website they have a coupon for a large two-topping pizza with 10 wings for $18.99. However, when you call to order, they say that is an old coupon and the deal is actually a large two-topping pizza with 7 wings for $19.99. All I ask is if the coupon is up on the website saying one thing, honor it, or remove it from the website if it is no longer possible to honor. Otherwise, skip the sausage (pepperoni is better) and get the Italian sub with no mayo, Italian dressing instead.

This pizza is good. My office buys from them for our pizza socials. It's pizza. It's dough with sauce, cheese and a meaty topping. It's about the same as Papa John's, but I like this one better. For the money, you can't beat it.

This place doesn't deserve it's crappy rating! It's probably not the best pizza around, but for the reviews I've read, you'd think they really messed up! It's not bad pizza. I really liked it, but I wouldn't write home about it. I'd probably buy it again, even.

I think this place is fine. They're friendly, fast, and it's not like the competition is very strong in the Bethesda area. 3.5 stars rounded up to four to counter the one-star review.

Hey everybody, want pizza that is bland and resembles card board? Well then come on down to Besta Pizza!!! This place is lacking on all accounts. Not sure what the DC one has to offer, but the Bethesda version is hurting. I think the best quote I heard regarding Besta was "man, my high school cafeteria had better pizza." Oh and the chicken wings, they managed to mess up chicken wings too...bland, and just kind of scary looking. The best thing that came of this is that I have plenty of other Pizza places in the area to try now. NEXT!
