My son lives close and it is a convenient place for a casual diner. We are not fish eaters and found many excellant choices. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Long wait for food and they weren't even busy. Decided to go watch some football and grab some food. Ordered two fish tacos took 40 mins to get a plate with two small tacos on it. Thought it was a long wait for such a small amount of food, specially when the kitchen was so dead on a football Sunday. Ordered another two tacos, took a absurdly long time to get, and they had half the fish the first ones had. Caught an attitude from the chick behind the bar for saying something. If you're 50 plus and don't mind the wait go for it, but this local will never be back. Cheaper & more friendly places down the road.

Food was great and our server Emily was the best server I have ever had the pleaser. Would definitely come back and recommend.

There is a reason Taylor's has been open for years - consistently good food and friendly service! Love their burgers and appetizers. Definitely the best place to eat in the Pines. A great choice, too, if you want to avoid the traffic in Ocean City.

We went to Taylor's even though the Yelp reviews were not very good. Since the reviews were at least 2 years old and the more recent, though "not recommended," reviews were better, we took a chance. I was a little concerned that we were going to a sports bar on a Saturday night. We don't drink alcohol and I thought it might be a bit rowdy. We just wanted a good meal. Turned out that it was a quiet evening and a delicious dinner. I had one of the specials, "Chicken Chesapeake," a grilled chicken breast topped crab imperial. It was delicious. Lots of tender, tasty crab meat. I wouldn't have thought to combine chicken and crab, but it was a delicious combination. My wife had ground steak with mushrooms. She said it was "steakhouse" quality and enjoyed it very much. My daughter had a grilled chicken salad. Also delicious with very generous portions. The waitstaff was pleasant and efficient. The restaurant was clean and casual. We are in town for a week and will very likely eat there again.

Emily makes the best Margarita on the rocks with a grand mariner floater. She is the best. Great customer service.

Atmosphere is good and local spot which makes it comfortable. Food is alright I have only had seafood there. I have to say crab toast appetizer was amazing!

First review I've ever written for a restaurant. Wife's griled chicken salad was served half cooked. Things happen, not a big deal. Our daughter ordered a plain hamburger. It was served with cheese, again, not a big deal and the server said she would take care of it. She returned a short time later with what appeared to be a fresh hamburger. But no, this was the same burger with the cheese scraped off. They turned the burger upside down to try and hide the remaining cheese. This is a big problem, and we will never dine here again.

I used to go here all the time. They used to have the best wings. Apparently there's a new kitchen manager and now they're nothing like the way they used to be. I went there at 9pm on a Friday night once and it looked like they were in the middle of closing. This place could use 2 things to restore its old grandeur. An awesome kitchen manager that really knows good bistro style food and perhaps some live music or something fun that would make the night-life a bit more exciting. I hope I can remove this review one day when I go back and the place is kicked up a notch.

This is a low-rent version of Applebees. It was super slow, and the food was just not good. I'd say it's good for kids, but it is too slow for their attention span.

This restaurant is okay but just doesn't try very hard . Everything is just a little bit not quite as good as it could be. Flounder sandwich was good but Chrissy the crab soup was also tasty but almost cold. I think that if they did not have a steady supply of geriatric patrons they would have a very difficult time staying in business.

Taylor's has always been just okay - but a nice, neighborhood place to grab a burger or something simple. However, we were there on a Sunday afternoon and the experience was terrible. The burger I ordered was definitely not hand-pattied and my wife's fish and chips, (at $15.99) was a soggy mess. The one waitress in the entire place was abrupt. Did I mention my hamburger had a bone chip in it - yech! I almost broke a tooth.

Beware: Taylor's is habit forming! We have eaten there five times. Never a bad meal. Reasonably priced. Good service. Relaxing atmosphere. Specialty drinks are tasty. Very highly recommended. Located at the south gate of Ocean Pines. Very convenient.

One of my family's favorites! Consistent and dependable!!! In terms of food, service, atmosphere, etc...

I've been coming to Taylor's since they 'established' here in Ocean Pines. The decor is cozy, dark wood with 4 tops and a few booths surrounding a HUMONGOUS Bar. I find the food to be quite good, the menu selection varied and the service is usually adequate for my experience. The Bartender's are not always the most 'gregarious' or attentive but the bar is typically well attended so that must not be a real issue. It is a consistently well operated establishment serving the large surrounding community for over 15 years. Price and presentation conforming to local averages. YES, the Crab-cakes ARE right up there as one of BEST in AREA.! Service might be slow but vacationers shouldn't be in such a rush to do anything - or go anywhere - relax and visit with each other while your food is eventually coming out. There is a reason the 'locals' wait until the off season to go out to eat when there isn't such extreme 'patronage' going on. The Owners are often present which likely keeps the place running as well as it does. I know I can't go wrong recommending this place to my clients.

It's funny that Janeen's first review dove-tailed mine. My turn. The wife and I have continued to go to Taylor's over the past several months. While their prices are more reasonable than many restaurants in the OC area, ultimately, the combination of consistently slow service and uninspired Sysco-supplied cuisine turned us off of Taylor's. As I tell everyone who asks, in the Pines, our favorites are Ho-Feng, which is across Racetrack Rd (589) from Taylor's, or Whisker's Pub just North on 589 of Ho-Feng.

Have been going to Taylors for the past several years, but visited just recently and both ordered the daily special (Stuffed Flounder). The flounder was over done and cold and the crab imperial tasted like soggy crab with no flavor. The baked potato was cold. Needless to say, we will not be back for awhile.

Great place to eat...reasonable prices, varied menu, great service. Fried flounder is superb!

if you come here on burger night, be prepared for a long wait for drinks, horrible service (you don't even get checked on after your food comes), and a loud atmosphere. i was excited that they added chicken sandwiches to their half priced burger night menu. however, looks like they need more staff to accomodate the patrons here. sadly though, people in the pines don't seem to care about the horrible service.
