I visited the Beltsville location on Cherry Hill Rd.. the service was horrible the food was not good at all the chicken tasted as if they prepared it earlier and old grease. I asked the cashier for the name and number of corp office instead of providing me the # she said that she would let me speak to the Manager on duty. I asked her if there was any fresh chicken cooking and she said no. The manage never acknowledged me in any way...as a corporation this is ridicules...Never again will I visit that store...

This has got to be one of the worst locations up there with White Oak and Adelphi. Never fails the service and quality of food are less than desirable. I asked the cashier specifically for the Mon-We'd $5 special that was on the window. No sooner than I asked if I could get three wings instead of the wing and breast combo did she say, NO. So she asked me the basic questions: white or dark, mild or spicy and which sides. Now I had already given all this information when I first walked up, lead me to believe 1. She was not listening and/or 2. She did not understand what I had asked because she kept referring to the sign on the board behind me that said $5 tackle box for $5.99. That was when I should have just walked out and went to chik fil a. She slide my bag and cup across the counter. I said thank you, paused and said "you are welcome". Her response "I SAID YOU WELCOME." Interesting it did not clear to her that I was a paid customer..... See the pictures the chicken looked and tasted old. There was very little if any meat on both the breast and the wing. No need to return. For better service try the New Hampshire or Wisconsin Avenue locations.

This is the worst Popeye restaurant ever! I am dressed up for work and decide to stop by to get some food for lunch at this place. I walk in there and the cashier said "good morning , what do you want" in a rushed and annoyed tone. Right off the bat, I am thinking Geez what kind of service is this? Next, I pick what I want to order. When it's time for me to pay, I handed the cashier my card and she said that "due to a security breach at popeyes, we have to check ids" I found that very strange. I wonder what does showing my id to the cashier have to do with the security breach. Anyways, I showed my id to the cashier. After checking my name on both my id and debit card, she ran it and it was approved. Then I went to fill my cup with soda and the cashier instead of getting my food ready, she was on her phone watching music videos. What kind of crappy service is this? Stay away from this place!

I went by Popeye's without looking at the reviews, the reviews are correct the workers are rude and not very helpful. I did not get any food to rate the food. I will not be going to this Popeye's anytime soon.

If you've got a craving for Popeye's, steer clear of this one. First off, parking is a nightmare. When you DO park, look out for the drug dealers selling their goods or bootleg DVD/CDs. I went in to let the staff know, they could have cared less! This location is dirty, the cashiers are rude & act like you're taking up their texting/cell phone time. The beverage area is filthy. I don't know how the health dept hasn't closed it down. Once you finally get your food, it is hot, as it seems they make it as you come in. But I'll never visit this one again. The male manager was extremely rude, didn't care that customers were in potential danger with the illegal activity in the parking lot. On top of that, there is no drive thru, you must park & go inside. Steer clear of this one, go to another one close by. I'd give it 0 stars if I could.
