Bottomless mimosas if you order food - yep bottomless - well until 2:30pm. Order brunch entrées - actually order this one. This was a chorizo and egg scramble, with peppers and onions piled high on some buttery grits. These grits had a little more texture than some do - which gave a nice contrasting texture to the dish. And look at that toast - love love thick Texas toast. I would have liked a hint of cilantro or a jalepeño, but this was a solid brunch. I will be back and I will order this. All their brunch items were solid, and the egg sandwich is humongous. As Fed Hill spots - this place is a great one, especially for the sports and when you don't want to be jammed in like sardines on Cross Street. In fact, we watched the football and then stayed for the baseball. Tacos and burgers also cooked to perfection.

Amazing food, atmosphere and people! One of my favorite places to come eat when I am in town!!!

The food is excellent but the service is very rushed. We were a party of 4 on a busy Saturday night. The server seemed frantic the entire night as she rushed from table to table. We appreciated her honesty about the menu items but she was very quick with us and did not seem to have a lot of patience. The kitchen was definitely backed up. We asked for bread to have with the rest of our sauce leftover from mussels, and it took so long that the sauce got cold. However, the entrees were delicious, especially the sweet chili salmon. The ambiance is good and it is definitely a hot-spot. They just need to be better staffed on a weekend, especially since they are planning to have outdoor seating soon.

This is a regular spot of mine for drinks and appetizers before a night out in Fed or a go to Sunday brunch for the football games. Food is always delicious, as I have tried many of their appetizers, tacos, and sandwiches. (Fish tacos are the bomb!). The bartenders have been nothing but pleasant and attentive on refilling both water and alcoholic beverages. The chill atmosphere in this small establishment makes it one of my favorite bar hang outs in the area, along with a great selection of local beers on draft. I never leave or walk in with a "hey" or "have a great night" from the bartenders. Go meet a friend at row house and catch up, You won't be disappointed.

Visited the neighboring boutique Bmore Betty who suggested we have dinner here. The food was amazing! I ordered the sweet chili salmon and sweet potatoes. It was served with the best Brussel sprouts I've had in my life. My boyfriend had a turkey burger which was excellent and made fresh, not frozen! The bar was very busy and was filled with boisterous people. This was my only downside which I suppose the restaurant couldn't control. The food came very fast and was nicely plated. I will certainly return and hopefully on a quieter day.

Although I had previously been to Rowhouse and found a large piece of plastic in my salad, I decided to give the place another chance and made a reservation for 8 people yesterday, during the Ravens playoff game. We stayed for several hours throughout the entire game, eating and drinking. After sitting for over an hour I asked the waitress if we could order food, and she replied "I'm really overwhelmed right now and that other table asked me first." About 30 minutes later we finally ordered our food. Our waitress said she could split our checks and but it would be a $2 charge per card. She wrote down what each individual ordered so that she could split it up later. As our food was coming out from the kitchen, we were brought several items that no one at the table had ordered. The busboy who was bringing out these dishes became very confused and frustrated, insisting we ordered these items. Eventually all of these meals were brought back to the kitchen. The waitresses were visibly frantic and stressed throughout this entire experience. Rowhouse is clearly not capable of handling a large event such as a Ravens playoff game. At the end of the night, we received a $300 bill (not split up). As we each went through the bill, there were a large number of items on the bill that were unaccounted for. Although there were 8 of us, only six of us ordered food. There were ten meals on our bill. Three people ordered buffalo chicken wraps with fries, but there were six wraps on our bill. There was an extra mac & cheese, there was an extra bucket of beer, and several drinks that no one had ordered. Apparently we had been charged for all of these items the kitchen had assigned to our table, and our overwhelmed waitress insisted she had memory of all of us ordering these items, and refused to believe us. When the manager came to talk to us, he became irate, yelling at us and refusing to accept any word that we said. He called me "honey" and I asked him to please stop speaking to me in a condescending way and that as a customer I expect to be treated with respect. He walked over to my seat, got down to eye level, and with a dead serious face said "it's a term of endearment, sweetie." Eventually a few, but not all items were taken off the bill. I explained to the manager to please split the difference between the cards that we had given him. Twenty minutes later, the waitress comes back with our cards and bill, shouting "Do you all have a problem with this bill?? I hear you all talking shit about us over here!!" I stood up and explained to her exactly what I had told the manager, please add $5 to each card to make up for the difference, and that will cover the whole bill. She replied "STOP ARGUING WITH ME!" as I was trying to explain how we are going to pay for this bill. I have never experienced such unprofessional behavior from an establishment, especially one that is supposed to be one of the nicer places in Federal Hill. I am disgusted with the lack of respect the male manager had towards me, as a young female customer. Needless to say, I will never return to this place ever again and neither will the other seven people who I was with.

My friend took me on burger night and since I love burgers, I was excited but this burger came up short. I'm hoping it was just a bad night in the kitchen. Somehow the outside of my burger was chargrilled and tasted like charcoal while the inside was very pink. I'm told the secret ingredient is French onion soup? If so, I couldn't taste it because of how it was cooked. I'm reluctantly giving this place 3 stars even though they do something that drives me batty. Burgers are $8 and include lettuce and tomato, I think, but as soon as you start adding items from the toppings menu it is mystery how much that burger is until you get the bill. We sat at the bar so we had prompt service and even agreed to move seats to accommodate a group of bros who wanted to sit together.

The food here is amaziiiing! The portions are enormous and a great deal for the price. I usually stick to the appetizers because they are as big as meal. The only downside is that the happy hour is only at the bar, which usually fills up pretty fast. Other than that, the rowhouse grille is a fantastic place place and I recommend it to anyone and everyone looking for a great meal in fed hill.

I can see why Rowhouse Grille has its fans. Unfortunately, I wasn't really impressed. During our meal, the chef was engaged in a loud profanity-laced rant with the kitchen staff, which was kinda simultaneously amusing and uncomfortable. Service was adequate, but not really with it - multiple runners handling our little table of two, and things getting mixed up. I had fish tacos, which were more slaw and rice than fish - they need to scale back the cabbage slaw and steamed overcooked rice while keeping the portion of grilled fish. It would definitely make them easier to eat, and would be a better balance of flavors. The missus' Frutti di Mare special was oricchiette pasta and assorted seafood swimming in thin tomato sauce. It didn't garner high marks for flavor or presentation. Rowhouse has a reasonable brick-n-wood tavern vibe, and a decent draft beer selection. I could see downing a few pints here on a summer's evening. But for dinner... meh.

This is one of my favorite local places. But today it was awful. We had to wait a long time for our drinks even though there seemed to be plenty of people tending bar. Then when our food arrived it was room temperature.

This restaurant is poorly run. Their reservation system means next to nothing. We made a reservation for 730 pm and at 722 pm we got a call that they wouldn't be able to seat us until at least 830 pm... Glad we were already on our way over. Great customer service runs deep here...

I first tried The Rowhouse Grille when I moved to Baltimore in 2011. I have to say that I was disappointed in the meal. I couldn't really put my finger on it, but every time I tried something there, it was almost really good...something was missing though. I returned to the restaurant though because there was a living social deal and they always have had really great service. I tried RG again last night with a large group of my friends. The staff was so accommodating and handled the large party very well. They easily transferred our tabs from the bar to our table. The food came out quickly and I have to say that everyone was very impressed with their meal. I got the steak frites which were covered in some kind of amazing truffle oil. My friends got the Old Bay wings which were perfectly crispy. Someone else got the mushroom risotto which was a great vegetarian option. We were there during happy hour which is $1 off all drafts and $5 crushes. The watermelon crush was so good and I highly recommend it. I'll definitely be making The Rowhouse Grille a regular happy hour stop from now on!

I've become somewhat of regular here since I live a few blocks away and believe the food is consistent and generally tasty, the service is solid, and the beers are cold. That said, there are a few dishes on the menu that I'd recommend steering clear of and the three pea risotto is at the top of that list. I ordered it last night and it was just a complete miss for me. Bland, really weird texture, and just felt like a mish-mash of members of the bean family . It's pretty much the only vegetarian option on the menu and that's the best they could come up with? Disappointing.

Visit: March 5, 2011, 6ish pm There was really one main reason we had such a great experience during our most recent dining session at The Rowhouse, our server/bartender Mike. He's the reason that I haven't totally given up hope on the Baltimore service industry; professional, pleasant, exquisite attention to detail. He's either got natural talent or years of experience. Either way, he was great. To start, a surprise on tap, Troegs Hopback Amber. This has to be one of the best amber ales I've had in years. Just this side of a pale ale (almost, some might say, an IPA) with its hoppiness, the sweet malt backbone more than made up for it. A new beer is always a perfect way to start. The Row Row Shrimp, a nod to Bonefish Grill's Bang Bang Shrimp, were cooked perfectly. Sweet, spicy, crispy batter. As good as they always are. I ordered the steak frite, a decent-sized NY Strip over a bed of herbed fries served with a side of fresh garlic spinach and a cognac cream sauce. The steak was tender and juicy and aside from some fat that should have been trimmed, an otherwise delectable piece of meat. I could have made a meal of the fries alone. My wife got the Atlantic salmon with sweet chili glaze. I think the sauce was the same one they use on the Row Row shrimp, not a bad thing, just an observation. Her review of the salmon was that it was cooked well, had a nice crispy skin and that the sweet potato mash was a good accompaniment. For dessert we had the fresh-baked banana bread. It was warm, thick, and served with a dollop of fresh whipped cream. I can't believe we had the room, but we pushed through. Our latest experience at Rowhouse was a good one. What made it even better was the level of service we received. Mike is a consummate professional who knows that service can make or break a meal and he definitely made it for us. Thanks, Mike. P.S. Thanks for easing up on the reggae music.

I live right down the street from the Rowhouse. I went there on burger night one evening. I ordered a burger medium rare. When it came out, i bit into it and it was brown all the way through, so I sent it back. The waiter came back with big apologies from the kitchen. I bit into the burger again and it was brown all the way through again. I looked closer and realized that it hadn't been cooked all the way through...it was just old, brown meat... for a $13 burger. Screw this place. The chef would have to be blind to not notice that this was brown hamburger meat.

We were at Rowhouse Grille last weekend and had a horrible experience. We live in the neighborhood and have been here a few times for happy hour and have never really had a great experience but last weekends' visit put us over the edge. At first glance this place seems to have it all-lots tv's, lively music and an active bar. Once you sit down, it's a whole different ball game. We had been out all day so at first we just ordered a few waters and menues. The woman bartender didn't seem to happy with our selection of water and gave a little attitude. After taking a few minutes to decide on our order we waiting another 10 minutes before we waved down another bartender to place our order. Once he put in our order we were ready for a beer but he walked away so we had to wave the woman bartender down to order that. Once we got our food neither bartender checked in on us and generally were not helpful. The food was mediocre. We ordered their "burger of the day" which was just ok; a little greasy, and way over priced-$14 for a fancied up cheeseburger. We also got the buffalo wings which were fine. It's frustrating that this place isn't better because it really is quite close to us and would be super convenient to pop in for some good food and drink but this place just isn't it. We compare it to a pricier MaGerks with the same crappy service and food. We will not be recommending this place to friends and will not be coming back anytime soon. Maybe if they worked on their customer service-but even then it's very unlikely.

Great style; also comfortable and delicious. I've come here for dinner, Ravens games, to celebrate, or to just chill out, and it's worked every time. I don't say this often, but it's the atmosphere that makes this place so great. The menu and bar aren't really the most creative you'll find, but the quality is very good and the service has been great. The price is about right for the style, given that its execution is so good. Definitely a step up, in price and quality, from the rowdier Fed Hill joints.

The Rowhouse never disappoints. I'm a huge fan of brunch so when the Rowhouse announced their new Saturday brunch we were literally the first ones seated! The menu has several great southern brunch items that you don't often find in the northeast. My husband and I ordered the shrimp and grits & the steak and eggs. As expected, both were delicious! They definitely weren't skimpy with the shrimp either, it was filled with huge jumbo shrimp. I actually had to cut them in to pieces. And to add to the brunch perfection ... bottomless mimosas, bloody mary's, and sangria's for $15! Definitely try the sangria!

I'm a longtime fan of Rowhouse Grille. I recently received a gift certificate for my birthday and went with my wife. We had a great meal for a reasonable price and were pleasantly surprised by some of the recent changes to the menu.

(01/28/2013) Checked out Rowhouse Grille for Winter 2013 Restaurant Week (RW). Some of us had the RW menu, some of us chose off the limited regular menu a la carte. The RW menu was a steal. Cream of Roasted Cauliflower Soup with Truffle Oil / Porcini Whipped Cream was fairly smooth, had the essence of cauliflower and not overly creamy (in a good way). The 3 Creekstone Farms N.Y. Strip with Butter Brushed Strip / Root Veggie Gratin / Kale / Mustard Cognac Cream Sauce were prepared perfectly to order, was remarked meat was a little chewy; gratin was interesting, naturally sweet from the root vegetables (maybe parsnip, rutabaga, turnip, carrot?). Another remark was that the flavor of the grilled meat was overly "smoky" almost ashy (same thing for the other grilled items, like the Grilled Calamari Salad with Chorizo/ Clementine/ Arugula Salad / Roasted Citrus Vinaigrette). Duo of local oysters was delicious: one raw, plump, mildly flavored, the other topped with a creamy blob of spinach and beurre blanc, all zipped up with a little lemon and mignonette. From the regular menu, the Turkey Burger (with fresh avocado and pepper jack) was a nice looking, very large, hand-formed patty, but over-salted. Steamed Blue Bay PEI Mussels in the Classic broth (White Wine, Shallots, Garlic, Fresh Herbs, Pernod, Créme Fraiche) were large, plump, not overcooked, clean; the broth was so good, that diner picked up the bowl and drank it (slightly sweet with basil and the pernod). Lobster Roll was chock full of sweet poached meat and a few bits of celery for crunch, lightly dressed, drizzled with butter on a grilled split-top bun, really good. Have to mention the hand-cut fries, really addictive, and most remarked it was the best they'd had around town; crispy, browned exterior, fluffy insides, came with sea salt flakes and cracked black pepper. We finished every single one and fought over the last. Ended the meal with the semi-firm goat Ibores (garnished with green apple and candied pecans) and a 3 oz. pour of house Reisling; nice ending, but laughably teensy portion. The interior is dark wood and twinkling lights, looks swank, but vibe is still your typical Fed Hill bar. They suffer from a split personality disorder, do we want to be an upscale restaurant, or do we want to be a hip bar? The table decorations kind of say it all: lovely fresh flowers in a Rolling Rock pony bottle. We walked in to screeching girls, dudes doing shots (it is still a bar after all), blaring alt-rock over the speakers (could barely hear the person next to you, let alone the one across from you). At some point, us old fogies asked for the music to be turned down, which was a great relief and made for a much more pleasant meal, but by then the bar was full of crowd noise. Really thought a lot of effort was put into the food here with good success. If this is in your neighborhood, would recommend on that alone, hopefully you have younger ears than we do, though.

Duck Fat Chicken Confit was course two last night at RHG . It should become a regular on the menu this fall. Paired with squash rossotto was like French comfort food. Loved the placemats ! It was very pleased with the exceptional service at last nights Beer Dinner. They did an excellent job of serving ! I will be back

The biggest draw to the Rowhouse is the food. It is fantastic! Tess is a great chef and is always coming up with some fabulous food options. I can mostly comment on the starters food-wise as I am usually meeting a friend for drinks and a small meal here. Some of my favorites are the guac, tuna sashimi (which you can order as a small meal), Row Row shrimp, and the artichoke dip for starters. For a meal, they have a salad that's usually on a daily specials meal with fruit in it and that is really good. Also, I've had the flat iron steak and the salmon with chili glaze. By far, the salmon is my favorite. It is cooked perfectly and the glaze is just right. If you get the steak, expect BIG. The steak took up half of my plate, so it was worth the price I paid. For drinks, the beer selection isn't huge but is fine. (And they have Boh on tap! YEY! Although, they do not have it in cans, which is what I prefer). The owner's step father owns Heavy Seas, so that is always available. The martinis are good, too. I love the Thin Mint one the best. If you ever go to the Rowhouse in the winter, get ready for some warm, spiked, apple cider. It is just the right thing when you walk in out of the cold. Mondays are trivia, which make it packed, so if you want a quiet dinner try a different week-night. Also, you can always try the bar upstairs if it's full downstairs or you want to get away from the crowd. Although I do not like the artwork upstairs, it still has a great feel.

I went to Rowhouse last night and had a fabulous time. The atmosphere was really nice and cozy, good wine, wonderful food! I ordered the fish tacos and they were out of this world, probably one of the best fish tacos that I've ever had! They had tilapia, a sticky rice (brilliant idea), avocado cream and thai chili slaw that was just amazing! The sweet potato fries were really yummy, unfortunately, they ran out of them so we only got a small plate. The bartender did comp them, so no problem there! That only meant that we got to try another app, yay!

Went to try to grab dinner and few drinks down in Federal Hill and found that most places had over an hour wait to eat....stumbled upon this neighborhood bar and decided to grab a drink. They had a nice variety of beers on tap...K grabbed a Watermelon Beer while M had the new Heavy Seas Seasonal. We both also grabbed a burger--K had hers with blue cheese--M had Havarti cheese....the burgers were juicy and cooked the desired way. The choice of cheeses offered was different--it is amazing how such a small detail can make a burger a lot better. Prices were average for food and drinks. Overall, a good bar to go to if you're in the neighborhood, but not a place to travel to from out of town.

Bryan and Tori are the most entertaining bartenders in the world. Great drinks and amazing food. If you are looking forward to a great atmosphere and great bartenders this is the place to be. Hair flair and warm shots make every Sunday perfect! Tip them in country music tickets and smiles!

This place is precisely 3.5 stars. We walked over on a Friday night, made a reservation for 4 at 7p, but probably didn't need it. Sat on the first level where there was reasonable light and despite being near the bar had no trouble hearing conversation. Decent wine and cocktail list. Beers on tap didn't match website but provided a fair selection of maybe a dozen beers. We forewent the restaurant week menu, opting for the regular, which was a page of standards (plus some standards-with-a-twist). Started with fries which were soft, salty, and good, enjoying with bleu cheese (could not taste the gin-infusion) and chipotle sauce. Had barbecue and hot wings, also solid and unsurprising. 3 of us went for the burger. Each was huge, prepared as ordered, accompanying chips a suitable side. Fish tacos also were a generous portion, could have had more flavor. We had our fill with the large dinner portions so skipped dessert. Service was quite good - knowledgeable, attentive server and we were not rushed. All in all, a strong pub in Fed Hill, the value was good, easy to walk in on a Friday night, and we had a nice time, so worth the trip. This is a place your satisfied with, but don't rave about. Precisely 3.5 stars.

We have made two trips to the Rowhouse. Tonight was number two. I'll make this quick. We had good food and good service. Here is what really makes me angry with the Rowhouse: Last visit we ordered mussels and they were delicious and served with a few slices of bread. We were asked if we would like more bread for the sauce we said yes. On the way home we noticed that we had been charged $2 for several slices of bread. Not only that, but we were charged another time for bread that we didn;t ask for or receive. Tonight we ordered as appetizers two orders of mussels. Again they were delicious and thinking the last trip had to be some crazy mistake we said yes when we were asked if we wanted more bread. Each order of mussels was served with one slice of bread proudly perched on top. We have six hungry people, two slices of bread and no miracle worker so we fell for the extra bread trick. We received two orders or three meager slices of baguette in each for $4. They might as well have been helping themselves to my wallet. At least they could warn their customers that they are going to get charged. I like this place but this practice is nothing but a scam. This is what my mother would call chintzy. Benjamin Frankln called it penny wise pound foolish. I call it not going back again.

Was a bit disappointed with my last visit to Rowhouse. Made reservations on OpenTable for a Friday night and was seated about a half hour late, with no real acknowledgement/sympathy for the staff there. Dinner service didn't do much to offset the mediocre experience up to that point. Starter mussels were amazing but they only came with a small smattering of fries and a small half loaf of bread to soak up the delicious broth (for 5 people!). Our waitress, who was aloof and hard to find most of the night, did eventually bring us some extra, but way too late. Entrees took forever and a day to come out. I'm OK waiting a bit longer for good food, but I also needed the waitstaff to be way more proactive in making sure we were good until the food did come out. Some comp'ed dessert or something also would have helped counter the multiple rounds of waiting we did that night. Will most likely give em another shot but unfortunately have a strip a star for this particular episode.

I would not eat here again or have a drink other than beer. I was meeting my mom for dinner and she was running late so I ordered a Grapefruit Crush. This was the worst drink I have ever had in my life. It was basically watered down canned grapefruit juice. Bleh. Not worth $7.50! I would have sent it back had the waitress ever bothered to come back. My mom arrived and ordered the Sangria. While not being bad it was not good either. The wine glass was filled with mostly ice, some red wine mixed with hard liquor (I thought it wasted like tequila in it), and more ice. Where was the fruit? We each ordered a beer after that (Ozzy and Blue Moon) which were fine. My advice if you go here is to stick with the beer. My second piece of advice is to avoid the overpriced skimpy appetizers. Our oyster arrived accompanied by a mostly ketchup cocktail sauce, horse radish (since they know their cocktail sauce sucks), and butter. Butter? Yeah, what's up with that? Who puts butter on oysters? No one from Maryland, I can tell you that. These were the smallest oysters I have ever had in my whole life. Again, don't waste your time. If you want oysters then head over to Nick's at Cross Street market or Ryleigh's oyster 2 blocks away. We also ordered calamari which was good once we found it. It was served in a bowl under large leaves of lettuce. Once we got all the lettuce out of the bowl and were able to eat what little calamari was given, it was quite tasty. Clearly, they are trying to trick the customer into thinking they are getting more and not realizing how small this portion is. Our main courses came and mom got the muscles in Tom Yum sauce- lemongrass, coconut, lime, shallots, broccoli and a side of French fries. They were mediocre at best. I'm not sure if the muscles just weren't fresh or if they were over cooked but most were a little chewy and the sauce just wasn't that great as it had too much lime. The French fries were really good! I got the Fish Tacos (3,) made with tilapia, Thai chili slaw, sticky rice, cilantro, in soft tortillas with avocado cream. There is a spicy sauce on top which I asked for on the side. I was surprised because these were phenomenal. They actually used big chunks of tilapia which tasted very fresh. I wouldn't call them original as I've had similar ones at No Idea Tavern. Total bill came to $74 which is pretty expensive for what we got. At times it was also very loud because of the baseball game on TV. Don't' expect to have a constant conversation with someone.

Went here on a Tuesday night. The atmosphere is OK. Tuesday is half price bottles of wine...it kinda sucks that they dont do half off the glass too. The food was OK. Lobster Roll....tasted more like lobster salad...not big chucks of lobster as I wouldve imagine or liked. I tasted my SO's jambalaya and it was yummo. Overall just okay. Not fabolous!

Not impressed. Service was fine, staff was friendly, but the food was below average. My eggplant parm was so over salted that it was inedible. The steak special was average, although my friends enjoyed the oyster shooters. Maybe they just had a bad night; I'll probably try it again.

Tried The Rowhouse Grille during Baltimore Restaurant Week. Their Restaurant Week menu was great...seafood, red meat, and vegetarian options for both first and second course as well as a varied selection of desserts. The beef carpaccio and Chilean Sea Bass were incredible!! The espresso chocolate terrine was rich and luscious. Pacing between courses was a bit slow, but our waitress was fantastic. Constantly checking on us, refilling water, and letting us know when our next course would be out. Was worried about trying The Rowhouse Grille after reading reviews about service, but we didn't have any issues at all. I do agree with the review somewhere below regarding the Red Sangria. Basically tasted like red wine in an ice filled glass with a couple of bar garnish wedges of orange and lime in it. Was the only disappointing bit of the meal.

Wings were really dry but I liked how it was drenched in old bay seasoning. The lobster roll was infinitely tiny pieces of lobster that were very soggy. The bun was not toasted so when I ate it, it just felt like I was eating soggy paper. Our server was very attentive and the atmosphere is great, thus the 3 stars versus the 2 stars it warranted for the food.

We made reservations for this restaurant 5 days prior to this past Sunday for brunch. The reason we made reservations was because Sunday is probably a busy day, with the Ravens playing at 1pm and this restaurant being very close to the stadium. We arrived 5 minutes early, and then waited about 10 minutes for them to tell us that "we are very busy and we gave your table away." Very poor service, will not return.

Another reason to love living social and groupon is that they give you more opportunities to try out new restaurants. I went here for brunch and they had a specific menu during their saturday brunch. To start off, I had the most powerful bloody mary! It had quite the kick to it but it was very delicious! The guests I went with had the chicken and waffles, oyster sandwich, and the lobster roll. Everyone had a good meal. The chicken and waffles was my order and that was good although the only thing I would change about it would be making the waffles a little bit crispier. It was a little bit on the soggy side when it came out. Other then that, I loved the food and service there!

I'm addicted to Rowhouse's New England Lobster Roll and they serve some of the best fries I've had in Baltimore. The Braised Lamb lettuce wraps are also scrumptious. My husband always enjoys the dinner entrees he gets (they mix it up, so he's ordered lots of different dishes) and was very happy to see Fat Tire added to the selection of beers on tap. Rowhouse is also opened on Monday nights -- when it can be difficult to find somewhere decent to eat out. Thumbs up!

I really like moules frites. I really like beer. So it follows that I really REALLY like the Rowhouse. Picture this: I stroll into this unassuming and dimly lit setting, have a seat at the shining bar, and am immediately paralyzed. So many mussels. How should I have them? Drenched in beer? Maybe a white wine sauce. The special of the day? But Provençale is always a winner. I sit, contemplating my mortality, over a beer or three, knowing that there may not be enough time in my remaining 50 years to eat all of the different combinations of mussels and beer (or wine, or well-paired cocktails) that my beloved Rowhouse offers. Alas, such is my fate, and I will put on a brave face as I accept it. Scared of mussels? Well great. More for me! But you're also in luck. Not only is the place big enough for you to sit far away from my steaming bowl of brothy goodness, but they also have an absolutely solid menu of other offerings. Favorites include the lollipopped lamp chops with heavenly balsamic business, straight up steak and mash po, and the ahi tuna appetizer with pineapple/wasabi flirtation. The beer selection is good, and leans on the Heavy Seas line due to a familial relationship with the owner. Rumor has it they'll also be moving into Belgian and Belgian-style beers, too. On nights when I'm more into the wine, they've been right on. Never old or corked, never any of that cloying gnarly sh*t you get at mostly beer places. They also take pride in their cocktails, like the seasonal hot spiced cider and rum they have going now. I love the Rowhouse, and have been going here at least twice a week for a few months. I hesitated to write a review because I kind of like it not being insanely crowded. But if any place deserves to blow up on sheer merit, it's this one. Advice on parking: if you want guaranteed space, there's the garage on West St, about 5 minutes away on foot. Usually, though, there are spots within a block or two.

We were disappointed after our first time here. We came because of a Groupon. I ordered the fish tacos and my wife had the turkey burger. The fish tacos were way too spicy. The turkey burger was so so but the fries were on the verge of being soggy. Was it ok because of the Groupon? Yeah, but we probably won't return otherwise. Service and ambience were good though.

Despite the fact that the Rowhouse is about two blocks from my house, I won't be returning. Ever. Given its location and the fact that the food is pretty good, we used to go to the Rowhouse once a month or so. My husband and I had dinner there recently with a friend and, as always, the food was good and the server was friendly. We each had burgers and beers and everything seemed fine. When the bill came, our friend paid her portion on a credit card and we paid the rest, and the tip, in cash. Had that been the end of this story, I'd give the Rowhouse four stars and we'd go back soon. Instead, my friend later saw that her credit card had been charged the portion she signed for and then again, for the full total of our bill. When she called for an explanation, whoever she talked to accused us of walking out on our bill, causing them to charge her card a second time. Since we know we paid our bill, we have no idea where the money went. What we do know is that the Rowhouse has lost three customers who will go elsewhere from now on and who will not hesitate to tell others to go elsewhere as well.

I visited Rowhouse during an out of town trip to Baltimore. The food was excellent; the omlette (ham and cheese) did not disappoint, and my friend's lobster roll was excellent. We sat at the bar, watching a few of the college games available. The atmosphere is low key but friendly. Overall, a good place to relax.

They are literally right down the block which gives them an immediate two stars. They JUST opened which is fun, but which also means that every 21-24 year old in the surrounding 25 miles has made it a "destination" bar. The bar itself is gorgeous, bartenders are nice and super attentive. Haven't eaten here yet, but it's on the list and just saw the other day they have $5 mimosas on the weekend. I can definitely stumble down the block for that. :)

Favorite place in Fed Hill by far. The food is fantastic, reasonably priced, and the bar is a great mix of lively but not the frat scene of Ryleigh's, Mother's, MaGerk's, etc.

Went here for Restaurant Week. Very easy to find since it is located right on the corner of S Light St and E Gittings St, in Fed Hill (3 Blocks south of Cross St Market). The atmosphere is casual and clean. The restaurant features a main bar downstairs, as well as a second bar up stairs. Table seating is somewhat limited, but not bad because the whole upstairs is mostly devoted to dinning service. The wait and host staff were very attentive, friendly, and helpful. If I had to complain about one thing, it would be that our server seemed slightly over attentive, however that may just be a judgment call on my part. The menu featured a good variety of specials, including seafood, pork, and steak. The drink selection is adequate featuring Heavy Seas ales as well as few other regional microbrews. We did not order any wine, so I cannot comment on the wine selection. My date ordered the PEI mussels in the classic sauce and the salmon fillet from the Restaurant Week menu, a la carte. The mussels were good (no grit), but the sauce was VERY strong (onion and garlic). The salmon fillet was delicious! It had to be one of the best tasting salmon filets I've ever had. It was server over mashed potatoes, mushrooms, and cauliflower. I ordered the Restaurant Week 3 course meal. First course was the Rockin Risotto. It had one tiny piece of seared rockfish (w/ skin) over a tiny cake of risotto. It was good and flavorful (rockfish is a strong flavored fish, but the clementine risotto added a nice balance). My only complaint would be the size of the portion, but it's only meant for one person. Second course was the pork tenderloin with crab. It was ok. The pork came out a little dry and I thought it was a lacking a little on the crab. The jack-cheese polenta, red squash, and squash greens that is served with the pork was excellent! Desert was a cannoli, which was simple and plain, but also very delicious. Overall I would definitely visit again and recommend this place to friends and family.

I love the Rowhouse Grille. Their salmon is the best I've ever had. I can't eat salmon any where else after having had theirs. They also have great cocktails. The staff is super friendly and they are great to work with if you are planning an event.

This is my first review ever. This place was fine. It's just a bar. But the power went out. And our jukebox money was lost. Ryan, the bartender, refused to give our money back because he wasn't "sure" we actually put money in the machine even though we were at the jukebox for 20 minutes. That's funny because I'm not sure he actually put liquor in my liquor drink. I wouldn't go back, but mainly because it's nothing to write home about.

This is not the place to choose if you want something really special. The service was alright (waiter was attentive, when he wasn't texting behind the bar or nowhere to be found), the drinks were cheap ($2.50 natty boh tall boys during any O's game), but the chef really must've been asleep at the wheel. Our mussels came out completely closed, which no cook in his right mind would ever send out. They were large, and it seemed a shame to send them back, but they were totally inedible. We waited somewhere around 30 minutes for our entrees, and once they arrived... we could not understand what had taken so long. The food was so lack luster, we didn't even want to try the dessert. Not only would I not recommend this place to anyone, I will not be returning... ever. $80 down the drain.

Always packed each time I went--a good thing as the drinks are strong and always served quickly. Dinner was always great--get the salmon, also great service by the wait staff. It gets loud which is also good for drowning out blathering idiot patrons. Happy hour prices are excellent. This is a fun place to spend a few hours.

This was a bit of a disappointed. While visiting Baltimore, my friend suggested a group of us should grab brunch here since when she was here at dinner she was told it was fantastic. I'm not knowledgeable about Baltimore brunch, but in comparison to DC this restaurant was not up to par. The opened at 10 and although we were sat, the waitress told us we'd have to wait until she knew the specials (took 20 minutes). She kept telling us that it was her first time doing brunch, but it felt like that was her first time serving at this restaurant (didn't know if they have coke/pepsi products, forgot drinks, etc). I got the eggs over easy with bacon, and I wish they just had a piece of toast with the dish (I know it wasn't coming, but I think they should add it) rather than buying that as a side/extra (like the bacon). One plus side, the prices were fairly good and the inside was nice and not too loud. I'd improve on the service/food- or maybe it's just better for drinks/dinner!

There were some real high and lows with this Grille. It was a beautiful building, but when we were having dinner and informercial was playing on the TVs, not exactly good dinner entertainment. Our server, Kelly had no way to turn it off just in our room. Kelly was a great server, cute, and eager to please. The restaurant was not very crowded at 7:15 on a Saturday night. There were only two tables in Kelly's section. She was a little too attentive at times. But we liked her. Kelly offered us a sample of one of the beers, which was very good. Heavy Seas, Category 5, which we orfered. One of the bar drinks was too sweet and she gladly replaced the drink. Kelly did well. Our meals were for the most part very delicious. Three of us has had the petite filet specials, cooked perfectly as well as the crispy chicken. The sugar snap peas also cooked week. A huge disappointment was the baked potato which should have been advertised as a micro-waved potato. Hard and no fluffiness. No excuse for this at a grille. This brought them down a whole star - microwaved food belongs in 7-11. Lastly we both couples order the dessert trio to share. Except the two trios came about 15 minutes apart, some sort of mix-up, so our friends gelati was melting while we were waiting for our dessert. The red velvet cake was good, the chocolate terrine was too intense for me, but if you like that sort of thing you would probably love it, the pistachio gelati was also good but the accompanying cranberry cookie might have been good, if it were not hard as a rock. It was a cookie and you could not break it, maybe with a sledgehammer. You could tell this cookie might have tasted good two days before, absolutely not fresh and there goes another star. Real potential, but a few glaring kinks.

Awesome mussels, special tonight was in lemongrass and spices and I would order that broth as a soup it was so fantastic. The phenomenal dessert called chocolate terrine is orgasmic. Great menu and fri night free beer. Waiter was adorable and extremely charming and accommodating. I'd go back and recommend it.

Fantastic for a great dinner in Baltimore! Dave took great care of us! Awesome menu, fantastic specials that night, good beer list. Flat iron pork was one of the specials, absolutely delicious! Don't miss out on the Moules and Frites bars! Amazing! If we weren't just there for the weekend, this would be a new favorite spot!

This is one of the best bars in Federal Hill. The food is many notches above bar food. The dark and woody atmosphere and clientele are top notch. They also have the best brunch in Federal Hill. My only advice would be to add some more draft beers.

I'd give this place a much higher rating-- given the quality food and drink--had it not been for the poor service. We were told it would be 20-25 minutes to be seated, but it was actually more like an hour. No apologies for the delay and only one update. When we were finally seated, the service was very slow. Our server seemed to be tending the upstairs bar as well and it was obvious that the bar was her priority. Our food took forever to arrive, so did the check, and so did our credit cards. We were there for approx. 3 hours when everything was said and done. Highlights were the mussels, fries, and the Bright & Stormy cocktail. I highly suggest you eat at the bar instead of getting a table.

Ok, let me start out - I'm prejudice, as a Baltimorean I am not a Federal Hill fan but this is worth the trek. I usually only go to that area to hang out with a good friend who lived in the area. As someone pushing 30 I am not a huge fan of the Cross Street crowds anymore and this being a little further down the path is perfect! The beer was good, but the bruschetta has me willing to drive over and seek out parking (not always the easiest to find after all the permitholders get home after 6:30) but well worth it!

Came here Sunday for a late brunch and left felling every bit satisfied. They're creative and original dishes are fresh with so much bang for your buck. Sean the manager, constantly asked us if we were satisfied with the food and our bartender Scott was very pleasant and had good recommendations for food. When all was said and done, the Thai chili wings were out of this world. My fiancé got the Reuben, which was euphoric to say the least. Great local spot with amazing selections of beer and cocktails. And as always, service was top notch. Well done, Patrick

I came here with a number of people to grab dinner and drinks. The place is surprisingly large with a door on Light Street and a side entrance halfway down the cross street. The first floor has a decently long bar that gives way to a standard seating area at the far end of the building. There is also outdoor seating and a staircase upstairs (but we never ventured that far). There are bathrooms (single person variety) on the first floor, at the back towards the kitchen. (Always good to know where those are). We started with drinks: beer, old fashioned, and I ordered the grapefruit mojito. Yeah, I took some razzing, but what I told my friends ended up being absolutely accurate: it's going to be refreshing, it's going to be delicious, and it's going to make me happy. All true. With the only complaint being that I'm not sure how much alcohol was is in it. It may have been mixed well, or it may have been light on booze. Either way it was tasty! I'd drink that again and again, I just wish they had a 20oz variety. In a rather embarrassing turn of events, we all ordered the gyro. It was a tasty, with plenty of meat, good vegetables, and a tangy/cool sauce (I can't remember how to spell it, it's that tsasiki or something...you know which one). I asked for extra sauce, it was needed. The fries that came with it said 'curry fries'...I guess I have no idea what that means, because they were just regular rough cut, sea salted, french fries. But they were crispy and good. All in all a great experience. Value was decent, not great, but I didn't leave feeling violated. I'd definitely go here more, try more things, and likely add a star.

The balsamic brussel sprouts with bacon were great. My date really liked his turkey burger. I should've asked for a bite--it looked yummy. Next time I will definitely try the steak & frites. The plate that came by our table looked GREAT!!!

I give The Rowhouse Grille a lot of credit for putting together a pretty interesting, comprehensive and off-the-beaten path menu that covers a mixture of pub classics, southern-inspired dishes, and hints of Asian flavors. Unfortunately, a few of us were somewhat disappointed with our choices. I ordered the Tuna B.A.L.T, but they were out of tuna, so I swapped it for grilled salmon. It was good - not great, but acceptable. When I ordered, I was offered a choice of house-made chips, sweet potato fries, regular fries, or a salad. Little did I know that my salad would be an additional $4 - and disappointing. The salad was all odd pieces of lettuce (maybe an arugula/spring mix variety? Hard to tell) - which were large and hard to manage. I appreciated the kalamata olives on top, but disappointed to find some small pits in them (but not all...?) Also, the salad was topped with a gratuitous amount of raw onion. I don't dislike raw onion, but because it was featured prominently on both my salad AND sandwich, I removed 75% of the onions from my plate. Someone else opted for a small plate for their meal: a special of fried green tomatoes with avocados. She was disappointed by the small portion (3 slices of tomato for $12) and said the breading and tomato tasted old. The avocado's didn't really add to the dish in any discernible way. My boyfriend ordered one of the specials - a salmon cake sandwich. He enjoyed it and the house-made chips that were served along with it were good, too. Another person ordered the BBQ Pork sandwich - which seemed to be the best thing on the table, by far. It sounds like we hated our experience, which we did not. Our server was really charismatic, attentive, and friendly and answered our questions and made suggestions as needed. It's an inviting and friendly pub-type space, and everyone seemed to be having a good time. If I were to go back, I think I would stick more to the "pub" side of the menu and go for either the BBQ pork sandwich or something similar.

Long bar when you walk in the front entrance but also somewhat cramped. There isn't much space besides sitting at the bar and maybe one person standing behind the bar seats. There's is additional seating in the back that seemed more spacious. Only had drinks and they were reasonably priced.

This is my go-to place in Fed Hill. Food is always on point, happy hour (2 for 1's on EVERYTHING) and brunch specials (bottomless) are a great deal, and the bartenders are awesome. I recommend their chicken and waffles, sweet chili wings, or calamari (when they have it).

Went there for happy hour and dinner with friends tonight. Happy hour specials were only served at the bar, which we were very disappointed to discover and would have left immediately to go elsewhere if it had not been raining. We split a few appetizers and ordered our own food too. Everything tasted alright (sweet potato fries, buffalo chicken dip, mac and cheese), but nothing special. I ordered the tuna which was overpriced and was a tiny proportion. For $12 I should have gotta three times more food on the plate. I feel like I was ripped off and do not plan on ever returning to Rowhouse.

The Rowhouse Grille in Federal Hill is one of my favorite place to grab appetizers. Some friends and I were meeting up with our other friends a little later to grab some drinks (Brewers Cask, it's my favorite spot to grab a beer) and we wanted to eat something small before meeting a friend. The Rowhouse Grille has awesome appetizers and if you make a reservation on OpenTable before 6:30, you get 1,000 points. The Rowhouse Grille is one of the restaurants I have a City Dining Card for so this was also the perfect opportunity to use it. I love buffalo chicken, my love for buffalo chicken extends to buffalo chicken dip. The Rowhouse Grille happens to have one of the best buffalo chicken dips around. Not only is the dip spicy without burning your mouth, but there's tons of shredded chicken evenly distributed throughout the dish. I would prefer however if it was served with chips instead of pieces of pita bread, but it's still a wonderful dish. We also decided to share an order of the Frites. At The Rowhouse Grille, their frites come with a choice of dipping sauces, we picked ketchup (the standard dip for fries), honey mustard, chipotle mayo and sriracha aioli. I loved the honey mustard, the chipotle mayo and sriracha aioli tasted very similar except the chipotle mayo had a nice smoky flavor. They were awesome though. Lastly, we decided to share an order of the 4 Cheese Mac & Cheese. It was a blend of smoked gouda, american, cheddar, and pepper jack cheeses. The pepper jack gave it a nice little spicy flavor but it was really just a bowl of cheesy awesome. However it doesn't compare to the amazing one I had the week before at SoBo Cafe, but it is still something I'd order again. For some great appetizers in Federal Hill, The Rowhouse Grille is worth a visit. It's also worth noting that this meal plus we each ordered a soda, barely came to $30. The buffalo chicken dip was $11 but the other two appetizers were only $6 and a huge portion of food.

Ordered their tuna BALT rare. Got the cheapest thinnest piece of WELL done tuna I've ever seen. I thought I was crazy didn't question anything bc I didn't want to be that "girl" (yes I am being that girl now) table next to us ordered same thing I overheard them complaining about the same thing and so we decided to ask the waitress what was up. Both of us ordered our steaks rare got flank steak thin tuna at well done. She went to the kitchen came back and tried to tell us both the "chef" said tuna steak is always cut differently. We both were like we ordered a $16 dollar tuna "steak" which wasn't served. Pretty much no explanation on why it was severed this way. It was a cheap price of white fish with a ton of blacken seasoning. Good place for happy hour anything else stay away. And let me set this with I've been here multiple time. Tried to give it a second and third chance

Service was awesome. Excellent bartender. The food I ordered was so gross I could barely take bites so I didn't offend the server that recommended it to me. It was supposed to have chicken stuffed inside a biscuit with mashed potatoes on top. The chicken was almost black and had a terrible flavor (canned chicken?!?)

Came here for valentines day lunch. Made a reservation through open table. Drove 45 minutes there, got in, said the kitchen was closed because they were 'prepping' for their vday menu. I was about to flip sh*t after driving 45 minutes to have lunch. They finally said they would seat us (why take reservations on opentable for those times then?) The server told us there were probably 8 things that werent avaiable on the menu which was ticked me off. Food was good though, enviroment was crappy. Everyone was running around cleaning/setting up etc. like they couldn't wait for us to finish. I mean we had lunch at 2. Do yourself a favor and don't get the crab dip. $14 for one little shred of crap.

Any place that sets aside a whole evening to celebrate the perfection of moules-frites is on my shortlist. But this place had so much more going on! First of all, the mussels: come in six varieties and two sizes. I wanted to try them all, but was happy for the chance to enjoy two. The house style, with Pernod and creme fraiche, were incredible. The curry cream style were also good, though they needed a little salt to really bring out their full flavor. Mussels come with grilled bread, and for two dollars more (two dollars!) you can add hand-cut french fries. So of course we did. We tried the chipotle mayo and the sriracha aioli, and it was a close shave but the chipotle triumphed. The fries were a tiny bit undercooked but still delicious. I would love to try the herb mayo and honey mustard next time. And there will be a next time, because this meal? So far, costs a whopping $17 for two people. All mussels are discounted on Mondays, which means $10 for a whole order or $5 for a half-order. A half-order each had us pretty full, but we wanted something a little fresher to finish, so we split a Rowhouse Wedge salad. Again, it was delicious: a huge hunk of iceberg lettuce, gin-spiked bleu cheese dressing, crispy bacon and ripe cherry tomatoes. That brought our food total for the night to . . . $25. We ordered beer, too, because beer and mussels were made for each other. And, guess what? During happy hour in the bar, beers are two-for-one! So four microbrews and two delicious dinners, including tax and tip, came to $50. That, my friends, is a steal. Thank you, Rowhouse, for being you! I will be back soon.

Awful. Just awful. Overpriced, lacking in taste, meals took forever, and oh yes, my favorite-- the hidden charges. I was charged four dollars for a few wedges of pita bread (which was requested in exchange for chips) and ANOTHER four dollars for a flavorless side salad instead of the fries that came with the lamb pita dish (also a disappointment). Where I come from you TELL someone if they'll be charged extra. I will never visit this establishment again.

Used to be a regular but the food and service have declined recently. Went there tonight and ordered mussels - which never showed. The girlfriend ordered a chopped chicken salad and asked to add shrimp - she repeated herself several times to the server - stating she wanted both chicken and shrimp. No chicken came out on the salad. I had the steak special. It came with asparagus which was soggy and barely warm. We both left unsatisfied. Our previous few times there usually involved a long list of items that were on the menu but not available. And it's not that we got there late at night and they sold out - we don't go out too late. They just didn't have them when they opened for business. The place used to have great service and food. Not sure what's going on. Needless to say we are not going back for a while.

Mediocre at best. Definitely not a place to go out for a nice dinner. Went here for restaurant week and we were very disappointed for what was a $70 check. To start off the glass of wine I ordered had about two sips in it...my boyfriend and I looked at each other and started cracking up because it was so ridiculously small we couldn't believe it. When I asked the waitress if there was a reason why there was so little wine in my glass she tried to say it was because it was a red wine glass and it only LOOKED like there wasn't that much. She then brought the bottle over and poured a little bit more, which was nice, but the whole thing was very bizarre. She also sat down at the table with us a couple of times while taking our order which, as having been a server in the past myself, know this is a no no. My boyfriend ordered the bouillabaisse and they told us 5 mins before it came out that they were out of polenta cakes, which completely changed the meal as they replaced the polenta with rice and the broth was totally lost. As we were waiting for dessert the waitress mentioned that she just saw the cook "brining up the rownuts (the dessert we ordered) from the basement in a ziplock bag".... Not exactly something you share with your customers to make their dessert sound appealing. The salted caramel croissant/doughnut was fairly yummy, but it was SO salty...salty to the point it seemed as though they grabbed salt rocks from the sidewalks outside and threw them on the plate nearly making it inedible. We should've known better that this place is more of a bar to hang out in and maybe get some appetizers rather than a place to go for a formal dinner. Go for the hangs but skip it for a full course meal.

I would not eat here again or have a drink other than beer. I ordered a Grapefruit Crush. It was basically watered down canned grapefruit juice. Bleh. Not worth $7.50! My friend arrived and ordered the Sangria. While not being bad it was not good either. The wine glass was filled with mostly ice, some red wine mixed with liquor. Where was the fruit? We each ordered a beer after that (Ozzy and Blue Moon) which were fine. The food was overpriced and mediocre at best. there are so many restaurants in federal hill, you won't have to go far for good food and service. Did I mention our waitress was awful?

We were in the neighborhood and decided to give this place a try. Also my boyfriend pointed out they serve "Rownut" their version of the beloved NYC Cronut and wanted to give that a try. Service: The servers are attentive, or at least try to be. We didn't have one assigned waiter. Multiple people walking back and forth would ask if we needed anything in passing which seemed a little unorganized. However, I don't know if the kitchen staff was lacking that day but the wait for the food to come out was awfully long. About 20 minutes between getting our drinks and our appetizer, 20 minutes for our entrees to come out and another 20+ plus for our dessert. Food: I felt as if they put no care into the their food. The PEI Mussels (house broth) was not my favorite. The broth was not good, too watery, lacked in any unique flavor. For an extra $2 we got the 'moules frites style' which is just a fancy way to say with fries and the fries were soggy. For entrée I ordered the Fish Tacos. I was excited to try the avocado cream as advertised but all that appeared was a pea drop amount. Also there was a squirt of sriracha sauce, why would they do that? It wasn't even mentioned in the description and left my mouth on fire. My boyfriend got the Gator Po'Boy and the hand cut cajun fries that came with it was inedible. It was covered in old bay, completely covered. Next time, a little dusting will do the trick. Now, the "rownut" not to be mistaken for cronut is not a cronut, don't even bother.

My wife and I went here for a casual Monday dinner and were not disappointed. The saffron chicken soup was hearty and very well seasoned. The mussels in wine sauce were tender and tasty. The salted caramel doughnut desert was fantastic. Finding parking on the street is a little challenging, but worth the effort.

Wow this place really disappointed. We came with a group of four on a Saturday night and the place was pretty empty. Everyone somehow ended up ordering some sort of burger or sandwich. The basic burgers themselves weren't bad but when we tried to customize it (not crazy customize, but more like - no tomato please) we got a LOT of attitude from the waitress. On top of that, our food took forever to come and the place was empty! When she came back with the food, she had apparently declared she was mad at us (why?) and was cold, rude, and unhelpful the rest of the time. (We asked if raisins were in the bread pudding dessert and her answer was "I don't know. Do you need me to go all the way to the kitchen and ask?" Being a server is not the easiest job but it is a job. The service was awful and we definitely won't be back.

Fun place to go to get away from the Cross Street madness. The bartenders are social and fun. I have yet to order anything from their food menu but looking forward to it in the future. I will update in a few weeks but until then this is quickly becoming a favorite since moving back to Fed Hill.

Where do I even begin. Came here on a Sat. night for dinner and drinks with a small group and from the second we walked in the service was AWFUL (and miserably slow). Server brought half the table's drink order after 15 minutes and then decided to stop and take the food order. One girl's drink was so entirely un-drinkable, it had to be sent back. When she asked the server to bring something else she was told to "keep it simple" and "order wine." Huh?? Aren't we allowed to order what we want? We hoped the food would salvage the first half of dinner but sadly - it was horrendous. Cold, over-sauced, overdone, dripping in butter...just a few words to describe how grotesque the "bar" food was...and to top it off - a guy from our group came down with food poisoning from the chicken dish he ordered. After tracking down our absentee waitress for our second round of "simple" drinks, we asked for the checks. Explicitly wrote down each card's desired amount for the server to ring up. Since they already added a 15% gratuity onto the total, we each asked for our amounts with that tip included in the final checks. The server then rang each card for the desired amount plus EVEN MORE gratuity added to each receipt. We kindly asked her to re-ring us out with the correct amount and she stormed off. At that point the "manager" decided to get involved and all I can say is I have NEVER in my 30 years of dining out experienced anything more unprofessional than the way we were treated - and for simply asking that our bill be corrected so we weren't all forced to double our shitty waitress's tip. Simply put, this place is disgusting, poorly managed, and has abysmal food....that cost me way more than it should have. None of us will ever set foot in this shitbox again. Do yourself a favor and eat ANYWHERE else in Baltimore! You've been warned!!!

Went here for NYE this past year. It was $50 for all you can eat/drink for private parties. The quality of food was amazing! So fresh and flavorful. They had salmon, eggplant parmesan, green beans and bacon, cheese plates and all the oysters I could eat. Great bartenders and service! I will be visiting again.
