Absolutely superb, with caveats. The execution of their food is, without exaggeration, bloody fantastic. From their calamari, flash fried to perfect crispness while not being overcooked and rubbery, to the drunken noodles or tally noodles featuring all the hallmark tastes of Southeast Asia, any diner here is in for a treat. The menu has select entries that are presumably their "specialties". Of note is the Yum Woon Sen, a warm salad with explosive and vibrant flavors. Wow. This is the wordieat review I've ever completed. So now for the caveats. Price to portion ratio is quite high. Even the most expensive entree is under or around 20 bucks but the portion size is likely found to be lacking to the average person living in America. Also, not really a con but a disadvantage to the owners, their location is kind of obscure. It's of no discomfort to me really, as street parking is regularly available but being smack dab between the three neighborhoods of fells, Harbor east, and little Italy means that they don't get many patrons. Basically, you, reader, should come visit this obscure place. Grab dinner before going drinking in fells. Stop by after work. Your taste buds will thank you.

Ordered carry out from My Thai using Order Up, chose this place because of its high reviews. The biggest disappointment was the lettuce wrapped chicken, the lettuce they gave me (see photo) couldn't have wrapped anything, it's the type of lettuce a place should not be serving. The chicken was also in a pool of grease and had the weirdest taste to it. Definitely the worst take on lettuce wrapped chicken I've ever had and that includes chain restaurant renditions like P.F. Changs and the Cheesecake Factory. My boyfriends pad Thai was slightly disappointing and lacked flavor. My red curry chicken entree was ok but once again lacked flavor and wasn't anything I was rushing to finish.

I have been here several times both in a small and big groups. The service has been always okay in smaller groups but less in a big group (i.e. the waiters checked the table less frequently and didn't fill in water). They do have a large space toward the back of the restaurant with tables that can accommodate a big group (more than 15 people). Pros: one of the few places in the area that has decent Thai food Cons: food hasn't been consistently reliable as sometimes they are too salty which is the reason I am giving them only three stars Recommended menus: pad thai, drunken noodle, pineapple fried rice, ka pow moo krob, panang curry, thai donuts for desert Papaya salad was a bit disappointment.

I had sort of high expectations for this location but it just sort of fell flat. My coworkers and I arrived here for a quick work lunch (after having realized our first choice spot was not open for lunch). The 6 of us were not greeted at the door, so we started to put together 2 4-tops of tables in order to seat ourselves (despite the fact that there were only 4 people around the bar area and no other tables seated). As soon as we were done rearranging, the server popped up and promptly told us that the larger tables were in the back (not visible from the front door). Ok, sure. We had to move them back, then sat down. Again, since there were only 3 tables around the restaurant seated, we thought he'd be back very quickly with a menu and drink order..... not really the case. It was a while before a young lady arrived with water, and we didn't really see her again. Another 5-7 minutes pass and no menu. Finally it arrives and we all order from the weekday lunch specials: $9.95 for a meal, soup and salad (the latter two are help-yourself). I ordered the pad sew eww. We went up to get our soup and salad; there was no soup. The salad was decent with a ginger cream based sauce - very delicious. However, teh soup wasn't replenished until the end of our meal. My chicken was pretty good, but significantly smaller than the portions of the others around the table (fried rice and cashew chicken). Only because we were on a work lunch were we conscious of the time, so the delay in seating and receiving the check really added up. However, the spot looked very nice on the inside - sleek and modern. There was a huge open kitchen area where I imagine you can watch the chefs at work. Also a large room in the back for larger parties. Great effort, but fell a little short on execution.

We went here right after our Mustang Alley extravaganza to have dinner. The college kids next to us had a beer tower. So as not to be stood up we also got one which was rather reasonable in price about 30 dollars and 6 of us had no problem finishing it off. I got my usual Thai favorite of panang curry. We also tried the red curry papaya salad and summer rolls. Everything was excellent. Staff were friendly. Panang is my favorite and this was good but not much heat. Even dishes ordered max spicy weren't too spicy. The service was great and fast. The happy hour menu looks great and good lunch specials as well. Will definitely be back.

I don't know what happened to this place, but its nothing like it was before when we first starting coming here. Also I've noticed that staff seems to be different almost every time I come in. I feel like the volume of the music here is too loud for the space, since there is quite an echo. Maybe its just me. When we first started coming here, I thought the food was excellent, but now its just Ok. There is no more $1 natty boh, so there is no extra incentive for eating mediocre Thai food. In fact, last time I was there, they didn't have Natty Boh at all. The waiter, who did say he was new, messed up my order and I ended up with chicken instead of tofu in my Pad See Ew. He took it back and I got a new one, but by the time it came out, I just wasn't feeling it anymore. Meh. My boyfriend has come here for lunch a couple of times with co-workers and he says that the food comes out super spicy, even though they didn't make a request for extra spicy. Maybe they are just wimps, who knows. But yea, I don't know if I will be back anytime soon.

Pros: Consistently very good food! More authentic tasting Thai compared to some other local joints. Staff is also efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable. There's a very decent happy hour and a good selection of drinks available. Just some of my faves include: The bam mi pork (soup), my Thai (soup), both the red and green curries with seafood, and the drunken noodles, among others. Oh, and for the spicy food, there's a 3-tier spice rating so you can get one, two or three (being spiciest) on your selected dishes. Cons: Not many. But note that this is right outside of Little Italy so street parking may be a bit limited at busy times but there's a garage across the street. In nice weather, also consider parking a few streets down and walk up! Hey, perfect way to work up an appetite and then walk off the full belly feeling afterwards! :-)

This is a really fun place to stop by for lunch. It takes a bit long, so we don't usually make it back within the hour, but at right about 10 bucks (unless you get a drink - and the Thai Iced Teas are pretty good) its a good compromise. This is a very standard thai place, the one surprise is that they have an incredible Pineapple Fried Rice - it comes out great every time, and I've seen a co-worker order it a half dozen times at this point. You'll find a rather modern, rather large restaurant, with courteous staff, and a creative drink menu (I've yet had the chance to take advantage of). Think - fairly casual, so probably not a first date, but perfect for a low key meet up with a few friends. Its not the best thai, but the food is consistent and satisfying, so I do come back from time to time.

LOCATION/AMBIANCE: Easy to miss if you aren't looking...along a block of South Central Avenue, where a series of stores/restaurants are located in a renovated "HOLLAND MFG. COMPANY" warehouse building, just blocks from Fells Point. Small restaurant appearance from the street, opens up to a quite expansive restaurant (stretches way back) with a modern industrial look... After entering the front door, you feel that you've come into a bar/lounge with an Asian flare. Small tables adjacent to a fairly lengthy BAR greet you, followed by a separate counter with a grill as you move towards the back of the restaurant, then a back area with more traditional restaurant seating enough for LARGE GROUPS. with a small peak of the kitchen. FOOD: - We came here initially attracted by the SILK WORMS seen and tried by Yelpers past. NEWS: No longer have silk worms as seen on yelp photos; at least per the waitress that the menu with silk worms is "temporarily not available." - Unperturbed, we tried other dishes. Overall good flavors, but small portion sizes and skimp on the meat/shrimp Those with carnivorish persuasion, expecting a lot, will be sorely disappointed... FAR FROM TRADITIONAL Thai flavors - would go elsewhere if looking for this. Appetizers: Lettuce wraps, papaya salad, laab gai, and lemon grass beef sticks. # Lettuce wraps: pieces of lettuce cups with a ground chicken and hints of marinated mango to add to your cups - tasty. = 4 STAR # Laab gai: great flavor = 4 STAR # Lemon grass beef sticks - basic beef slice on a wooden stick, grilled just enough - kids loved it. = 4 STAR Entrees: Pad See Lew with Pork, Crab Fried Rice, Shrimp My Thai, and Red Curry with beef # Crab Fried Rice: WOW!...great flavor, but definitely on salty side = 5 STAR # Pad See Lew: mainly noodles with few other garnishes and bland flavor; forgetttable and would not get again. Primarily for the kids, who didn't like it = 2 STAR # Shrimp My Tai: tasteless concoction of shrimp on an fried egg and crab scramble, which alone may have been good. But it comes in this bath of a sauce that has little flavor = 1 STAR #Red Curry: lacks depth of other traditional Thai restaurants in the area = 2 STAR SERVICE: The waittress we had tonight, though nice, seemed to have worked at Jamba Juice or some health foods store - she would keep asking us "Which protein would you like with that [dish]? Also, despite being one of 2-3 tables in the whole restaurant....service was quite slow as well as long waits for the food. I do wonder how it would be when much busier. FINAL IMPRESSION: A few dishes that were savory, mainly appetizers that saved the night. We actually ate the appetizers largely with rice. Entrees (few that we tried) were lackluster except the Crab Fried Rice. So, those dishes that were good were really good and then everything else. Like I said, not much PROTEINS (meat/shrimp) in those dishes that supposedly come with them and more vegetable fillers - a good or bad thing depending on your perspective. - Would try out other places before coming back, maybe would come back for Crab Fried Rice and salad dishes.

I have been here several times now, but only once with a large group. Service is okay for small groups, but seemed to be lacking for the larger groups -- maybe because we were located towards the back of the restaurant. We were left waiting around a lot - first for the water, then for the food to come, then for the bill, left me disappointed. I usually go with the drunken noodle (my favorite Thai dish), but this time, I tried one of their noodle dishes. Their noodle dishes are on the more oily side, but spicy enough (I am a huge fan of spicy) if you add enough thai chile peppers by yourself.

I have never try thai food before we went to this place. Honestly, for some reason me and my husband were disappointed . We ordered two different dishes but they was almost identical to us. I liked Tom Yum soup tho, it was very good . But other than that it's just overpriced chinise food you can get elsewhere twice cheaper. At the bar it was too manu porople and it was too loud. Food taste ok, but it was the only one positive impression . I don't think we ll visit this place again. (Sorry for grammar) :)

Lunch special was pretty good, prices are descent but the service on a relaxed Wednesday afternoon was horrible. We ordered at 12:45 and received it only by 1:20 pm. There was only one employee literally running around in the whole restaurant and she didn't even mention we have to pick our own salad and soup. Salad bar is a bowl of iceberg lettuce, cucumbers and tomatoes with some ranch dressing, that's it. The vegetable soup was pretty good but it took us a while to figure out that it's self serve since our server didn't mention anything. Otherwise it's a cool ambiance and tasty food.

Indulge yourself: this Yelp review requires the following soundtrack.. youtube.com/watch?v=fOax… Load that jam and read on.. "and the beat goes on." That's the story of Baltimore Asian. Five years and still looking for a consistent 4 star spot. My Thai fell short. Friendly takeout service, slight dialect issues. High sticker price at $21 for chicken panang curry, extra rice, and an order of two spring rolls. The food was disappointing. The watery panang forms a murky orange ocean with eight islands: six carrot slices and two broccoli pieces. "Spicy" is more accurately "bland", no spice. The oily spring rolls had a good dose of shrimp and crunch, but were still bland, needs more veggies and greens inside like Thai Yum. You do get enough rice with the order so avoid the extra carton. How I miss you Talay Thai. "and the beat goes on"

Great find! Looks small when you walk in but there is plenty of room! I ordered the Tom Yum shrimp soup and it was delicious! Very tasty and spicy! I also ordered the Pad Thai with the spice level 1 and it was great! Not too greasy! My sister ordered the Hot Chix and the Ka Pow which both were amazing! For dessert we ordered the Thai donuts and they were ok, not the best. I def would come back! Great ambiance!

To date, I had the best pad thai I've ever had. Was able to dabble in some fried green beans, summer rolls with peanut sauce and thai tacos as well which were all quite tasty, though not all are vegetarian friendly. My friend had Talay noodles, which had a great flavor and were full of fresh seafood. Servers were friendly and prompt. Try the Berry my Thai drink, it's kind of sweet, but if you're into that it packs a punch! I would enjoy coming back.

Very nice place to eat. Reasonable prices. Fast and efficient. I'm from Atlanta, and was visiting the city for Otakon. My friends and I really enjoyed the food.
Great food, location, and setting, okay service. Finding street parking was relatively easy on Saturday night. I arrived at 7:30 and the restaurant was surprisingly empty. I think this is great because the service would be more attending. Wrong. Took a while for our server to bring water, drinks, our food etc. She was super sweet just incredibly slow. Ordered the crab fried rice which comes "spicy." This wasn't spicy enough for me so my server brought an assortment of spices to kick it up which was highly appreciated. The restaurant is spacious. The back of the restaurant is more for large groups if you want to have a birthday dinner here, the front is more intimate. Menu list is extensive while the drink list is not. Prices are relatively cheap. Overall, I would return and recommend.

I love it here the atmosphere is great calm laid back zen like. The food is exceptional and at a great price. The staff are so helpful if your deciding to try something new on the menu. The mojitos are great shocking I know but super good! All of the classic Thai food you love is amazing.

Stopped here on a whim after an impromptu trip to Hopkins. We were one of three tables in the place and it was difficult to get service. They paid no attention to the tables after food was ordered. It was about to rain so outside was chilly, and yet all of a sudden they decide to leave the door open sending gusts of cold air through the restaurant. The food itself was very good. We have the drunken noodles and another dish Thai style. I'd do take out from here, but I wouldn't sit down again.

My Thai has been in this "new" location for some time now. Def. a bigger location than their previous in Mt. Vernon. Nice spatial arrangement inside with a modern twist of decor. My first time there, we got chicken lettuce wraps, which came deconstructed and was fun and delicious to eat. Today, we got spring rolls as an app. It came in bite-sized pieces instead of the usual two long "rolls" that you would expect, so I thought that was weird. That aside, the taste was good, with basil in the rolls really accentuating the flavor. The rice paper was nice and thin. The peanut sauce was spot on. For entrees, I got the panang curry w/ shrimp. Comes w/ broccoli/carrots and white rice. The curry sauce was fabulous--the perfect amount of sweetness. It came with 7 or so pieces of perfectly cooked shrimp. My friend got the chicken pad thai ordered extra spicy. I thought it was good, but I've had better. For dessert, we got the fried banana sundae. The banana pieces were delicious, and the fudge drizzle tied together the bananas with the vanilla ice cream perfectly. Con is that the service was slow...took a while for us to get our food.

Not a bad place. Not a crowded place. Not many list of drinks (which might be a good idea). Appetizers look good. Entree are amazing though. Drinker noodles, pad Thai to name some. Not very hot even if they have a hot marked by the side of the dish's name. Won't be a bad idea for a group either. I wouldn't say no for the second time.

They need to do some serious improve on service. I went there on Sat night , sat there and have to wait for 30mins for someone come to take my order (i had to ask someone to do it) never refilled water Server looked lost. Food was okay. :(

I love Thai food. LOVE it. This should have been an easy sell! But we left feeling distinctly underwhelmed. First of all, the only reason we ate dinner there was because we had come for an Elite event (see separate review) but got tired of waiting half an hour between bites. They clearly weren't prepared for the crowd that came expecting greatness! That should have been a clue about their management and quality-control standards, but their delicious appetizers were tempting enough that we decided to give them a shot. We chose a seat at the bar surrounding the chef's prep area, hoping for some entertainment while we ate. Our meals were lackluster. I was feeling adventurous and ordered the crispy duck Ka Pow, hoping for some spicy, tender meat with a nice crunch. Instead there were pieces of meat that had been battered and deep-fried, giving them a chewy texture. And the spice? Practically nonexistent, though everything was swimming in a thick, salty sauce. It tasted greasy and heavy, much more like Americanized Thai than the real thing. I honestly don't remember what my friend ordered, but I do know she was similarly unimpressed. She took her leftovers home to her husband who "will eat anything." I didn't want mine. Service was on the slow side, which we expected because of the private event, but they didn't even offer an apology or explanation. Very disappointing.

I am embarrassed to admit how late I am to the My Thai train, but now that I am on, I am never getting off! Thanks to Yelp for never steering me wrong. I haven't had Thai food this good in ages. While I couldn't partake in the Happy Hour (HH is 4pm to 7pm everyday), I went to town on the Pork Thai Stir Fry. The combo of the sweet and spicy, the textures and the freshness - YES!!! PERFECTION! Keep in mind that I ate half of my meal at home since I couldn't finish it all and it was still that good when I ate it an hour later. Ya'll know that's a feit! lol! Eating in is really a great treat. The space is HUGE and much, much bigger than meets the eye. Grab a bunch of your friends and make it a night out with good company, good cocktails, and excellent food. I know I will again next week :) Can't wait! P.S. You can be as healthy or as naughty as you want here. There are menu items for all spectrums of the food morality wheel ;)

The 2 soups I've tried have been consistently overly-salty. It wasn't a big deal at the time since after being sick, my taste buds weren't registering taste as well and I needed to replenish electrolytes anyway. However, it would probably be too much otherwise. They tried calling us when they forgot to pack part of our order, but we didn't hear the phone in the car. It's a 20 minute drive for us, so we didn't want to go back. They offered the same dish to us free of charge next time, then, but we haven't made it back yet because it's out of our way. Appreciate the gesture, but I think it would have been more appropriate to offer a refund for the dish instead.

Getting takeout was a little slow, especially on a night when the restaurant wasn't full. We ordered: Red Curry w/Veggies and Tofu - there was a nice variety of veggies in this curry, but the curry was too thin and a little bland. I had asked for spice level #2 (medium), but this was barely a 1. Drunken Noodles w/Veggies and Tofu - my hubbie always manages to order the better dish! This was delicious, spicy, and had tons of crispy tofu and vegetables. Yum! OVerall this is a decent option for Thai in the area. I see that others mention Thai Elephant Wok...I'll need to try that next!

Pleasantly surprised by how good the food was here. Being a native, it's quite difficult to find an authentic Thai restaurant. The reason why this place didn't get 5 stars was because the service was quite slow. Other than that, I would recommend this place to everyone who wants "Real" Thai food.

This was my first time at My Thai and boy was at great. The drinks, apps and dessert were all fantastic. I ordered the Thai chicken fried rice and the boyfriend ordered the special and we were both very pleased with our meals. We both ordered cocktails of mojitos and long thai tea, which neither one disappointed. To top it off I indulged in my all time favorite dessert of mango sticky rice. Soooo good! I am not sure if they take reservations and there is ample street and garage parking by the restaurant.

Discovered this restaurant while searching for a place to eat while in Baltimore. Thanks to Yelp, I found My Thai and I'm happy I did because the food was really good. The overall decor of the restaurant and significantly different from any other Thai place I've been to. It's a huge restaurant space with a full bar, tables in the front and long tables in the back most likely to accommodate groups. We got here about 15 minutes after it opened on a Sunday so the restaurant was empty when we walked in. We were greeted by a nice waitress who also served as the bartender which was okay but the bar didn't have two beers that they listed on the menu and the waitress didn't know how to properly pour a beer from the tap. They also have speciality cocktails to choose from but oddly enough, a Mai Tai is not one of them. I recommend the Thailand Iced Tea which is essentially a spiked Thai Iced Tea, very tasty and it went well with the food. As for food, my fiance and I shared their hot chicks which were chicken wings with thai chili sauce on top. For entrees we shared the pork pad thai and the roasted chicken chili entree. What I really liked about My Thai was the entrees and other menu items were creative and not typical of most Thai restaurants. While they did offer the usual noodle dishes (Pad Thai, Pad See Iew, Drunken Noodles) they also offered different ones, like Talay Noodles and they also had a number of unique entrees to choose from as well. They definitely are great for those who like to spice up their food because they also offer additional spices that you can put on top of your food for extra flavor. Everyone was pretty full to try dessert but they did have Thai Donuts with sweet cream that sounded really good. The prices are little expensive for Thai food but the ambiance and over all environment at the restaurant is definitely upscale so I'm not too surprised at the prices. This is a pretty good restaurant to try if you are in the area. The food is fantastic and the restaurant is really pretty, modern, and clean. The service is so-so, that was probably the worst part of the entire experience. Overall, everyone had a great time and enjoyed their food so if I'm ever in the area again I'll consider coming back.

Food was really good. They were playing the most awesome 90s jams while we were in for lunch, which is worth 1.5 stars on its own. It was super cleanand nice inside, and had a great atmosphere. I definitely want to go back for happy hour because they had some great specials. The lunch menu also looks like a good deal. I wish they had it on the weekends. It was super slow on a late-Saturday afternoon when we popped in, so it might be good for them to offer it to get some more business.

One of my good friends from Baltimore brought me here for dinner the other night. Since it was a Thursday night, there were just a few folks there and seemed a bit empty. Great ambiance and decor though! I got the Ba Mii pork noodle bowl which was pretty good! The roasted pork and crispy pork belly had great flavor (with hints of five-spice), and I wish there was more (just a few slices)! The egg noodles were a bit ramen-like, but went very well with the meat, yu choy, and bean sprouts. The broth was delicious too and it was nice to end the meal with it; they even had some crunchy wonton wrappers to go with it!

I came here for a Yelp event and it's a big, spacious space. The servers are friendly and the young 22-year old chef came out to greet us. Everything tastes like very Americanized Thai food. I didn't have any entrees, but the finger foods I had were pretty good. The sauces are sweet and I had a lot of fried green beans! It was in a light tempura batter. My favorite was the shumai- very fresh, meaty moist inside with a great chewy outside. This was actually delicious, and probably one of the best shumai I've had. The chicken tacos were good too- chopped up, well-flavored ground chicken with lettuce and tomato in a crispy shell. The spring rolls I thought were just OK, lots of greens and healthy inside!

Located on south central, we came here for a weekday lunch and we got a seat right away. The place was mostly empty actually. The decor is nice with a loungy atmosphere. This place would be great for a large group, but it did appear as if there was only one server for the entire restaurant so service was a little slow. The menu is very similar to stang's in mt. Vernon. -drunken noodles with pork-it was good filled with peppers, carrots, and tomatoes. It did the job but I like the flavor of stang's drunken noodles better. -thai iced tea - loved it. Great on a hot day. -crispy duck ka pow - my friend liked it. Unique since I don't see a fried duck dish too often. Overall, it's a good thai restaurant but I still think Stang's quality is a notch higher and they are priced about the same.

My Thai is one of the best Thai restaurants in town. Impeccable and friendly service. Fantastic drinks and delicious food- I highly recommend the papaya salad, Drunken noodles and lychee Martinis. I'm a fan of spice so I appreciate that they ask what spice level you want and really give you spicy food when you ask for it. As a side note- I arranged a dinner here with a large group of colleagues. The service was awesome and it was literally so easy to manage.

Chic and sleek decor make this a more upscale Thai place than I would normally ever venture into. Big, full bar along one wall, I'm fairly certain it's more of a club atmosphere later in the evening. The service was very good, our waitress was friendly and quick. Prices were reasonable for the expensive looking interior. Food started out well, the appetizers were delicious. We got the pork dumplings which were a bit on the small side but fresh and tasty, and also an order of the chili wings, also delicious. Unfortunately, the delicious trend did not carry through to the entrees. I got the My Thai soup, husband got the Drunken Noodles and daughter got the fried rice. The soup was such an odd experience it didn't even make sense, the bowl was full of fresh seafood, cooked properly, with fresh basil, chilis and lemongrass. It should have been great. But, the broth literally tasted like dishwater, there was absolutely no seasoning (salt) and none on the table with which to correct it. Hubs said his dish was similar, very bland and when we tasted kiddo's fried rice, once again, very bland with very few veggies in it. Pretty disappointing after such a nice start. This might be a better place to come for drinks and appetizers than a full meal as those were the good parts of our experience. Also, if it matters to you, there is no kid's menu to speak of but they did have some high chairs.

This place came highly recommended by my colleagues and I must say I was quite surprise to find a great Thai restaurant in Baltimore and not a bad walk from my work office. I couldn't sample just one dish for lunch so I ordered a papaya salad with the drunken noodles and my thai iced tea. I got take out so I had a thai iced tea while I waited for my food and she gave me another one to go which I greatly appreciated. Now I feel cheap for not tipping enough since I wasn't expecting another drink to go. I really enjoyed my salad and my drunken noodles with seafood. I wasn't a big fan of the mussels in my drunken noodles but everything else tasted good to me. I'll be back for sure now that I know there's good Thai food in Baltimore!

Just moving here from NY, I was starting to worry that I wouldn't find any good local Thai food. Well here it is!! Ordered Pad Thai and Chicken with vegetables. Was super fresh. Even the tomatoes with my chicken tasted like they were right out of the garden. Very impressed.

I decided to give My Thai a chance since I'm still searching for great drunken noodles on this side of the harbor (Thai arroy in fed hill was my favorite before moving neighborhoods). It seems that I'll have to keep looking. The tofu drunken noodles was a much smaller order size than I expected for $13. Also, they overloaded it with tofu so there were hardly noodles. Aside from a stray onion or pepper, there wasn't any other veggies in the order either. Dinner was not worth the money paid.

Very nicely designed place although I guess it can be half owed to the store before it, Lemongrass. There were some new renovations I appreciated such as the extended bar and front grill section set up hibachi style. When the place first openend, I called expressing interest in happy hour specials but was advised that, because they were new, they hadn't designed a happy hour menu yet. That being said, I decided to come for lunch instead. My friend and I were advised that we could sit at the bar so we were pretty sure that the bar would be open. If I had bet my life on that assumption, my power of attorney would have been writing this review instead of me. The waitress said the bar was closed to "serving alcohol" because the bartender doesn't come in until 5pm but we could order wine and beer. What lady? Buh, but I could reach out and touch a glass and the liquor bottles! Despite my strong urge to hop over the bar and pour my damn self a nip, I settled for a glass of Fu-ki Sake instead (which was absolutely delicious by the way). For appetizers we ordered: chicken lettuce wraps, and crispy shrimp wonton. The sauce on the chicken for the wraps was a little pungent (dare I say funky?) but tasted pretty good. The shrimp inside the wonton had absolutely no flavoring so it wound up making the whole wonton a disappointment despite the side of sauce. My friend ordered the Chicken Cashew and the taste was spot on, while the serving size? Not so much. I'll definitely be back although I'd prefer not to have the same waitress. She was very friendly but unfortunately her bubbly disposition didn't prevent her from forgetting my dish and my wine order twice. Kitchen service was a little on the slow side too, considering there were only two other tables of two in the restaurant besides us.

My Thai reopened in the old location of Lemongrass. I liked open, clean look of the previous restaurant and My Thai has preserved it. The food is pretty good. The portions are more generous than I remember. We got the Tom Yum Soup, Duck Ka Pow, and the Pad Thai. The Duck Ka Pow was a pretty large portion, I had to take some home. It was battered, crispy, and flavorful. The pad thai was tasty. The service is friendly. One of the top 2 Thai places in Baltimore

Came with a party of 25 and the waitresses were very accommodating and kind. According to a waitress, the restaurant is known for its Pad Thai and Pa Ram Lang Song (chicken in curry and ginger, with rice) so I tried both with a friend. Pad Thai was perfect, Pa Ram Lang Song was good but a little on the gingery side. A friend raved about the Woon Sen soup, and everyone enjoyed their meals, no complaints. Great for large groups or even dates (has a good vibe), great service.

My sister and I have visited this location twice now and will not hesitate to return. The staff is always prompt and friendly and the food is delicious! The first time we went we had shrimp fried rice which lacked a bit of seasoning, but was still enjoyable. We also had the spring rolls and they were crunchy and tasty. The second time we had chicken drunken noodles and they were to die for!! It was like an explosion of textures and tastes in my mouth and I loved every minute of it. Fresh veggies and great seasoning, a must have! I am not a Thai tea connoisseur, but we had that and enjoyed it both times as well!

Great Far East Food without leaving Bmore!! My Thai was an overall great experience!! Where the service and food were stellar. Our party was 5 deep plus an infant. We arrived at MyThai and were pleasantly surprised by the openness, cleanness, and modernness of the place. This is not an ultra modern place, but modern enough were you do not feel like you are entering a time machine. Once sat we ordered our food, we had 2 vegetarians in the group so we ordered a mix of veggie and non-veggie food. The server was great, she kept referring Vegetarian dishes and would mention if something was not vegetarian, which is great because some Thai places you go to, they could care less. They really don't help you if you have any dietary restrictions. So plus there! Once ordered we waited and food came out promptly. We dove right it, almost missing our chopsticks! Overall the food was great! We did not have a meal that we did not like. MyThai also customized the spice level perfectly from the low spice level to the burn my tongue off spice level (I'm right in between). All the food was fresh, tasty, well prepared and perfectly cooked. We each devoured our meals while trying bits of all the dishes. By the end everyone was saying we need to come back and order that (everyone points to every dish! lol) On top of the great food again the service was great, not overbearing but still kept the refills, napkins, etc etc coming. Again overalll, great place and a must try if anyone is in the mood for solid Thai food!! So your grab chopsticks and dig in because leftovers aren't an option!! Cheers!

I was surprised how much I liked this place. Let me add this disclaimer into my review: We have been to Thailand. When we arrived we were greeted and seated immediately. Our server, Ronald, was fantastic the entire night. He really knows how to make suggestions and sell you on things and he was never wrong! We started out with the veggie dumplings steamed. They were delicious! Light, not heavy or greasy, and the sweet and sour sauce that went with it was tasty. We ordered the pork pad Thai and the chicken Thai fried rice. I loved my fried rice. It was a huge portion filled with chicken, egg, garlic, onion, scallion, and tomatoes. I don't recall them having tomatoes in the dish in Thailand, but it doesn't matter because it was delicious. Not over fried or over salty at all! My husband so really enjoyed his pork pad Thai. Ronald sold us on the Thai donuts and I am glad he did. They are AMAZING. They are lightly fries pieces of dough drizzled in a chocolate sauce and served with a side of glaze to dip them in. They are addicting. Not overly sweet at all. Overall we had a great experience and will definitely be returning!

FOOD: There was exactly one shrimp, one mussel, and one calamari in my "seafood soup". The mixed vegetables were literally the same as steamed veggies you can get from a bag. The shrimp dumplings were generous size at least. The papaya salad was literally just papaya shredded with 2 cherry tomatoes. The whole meal was very disappointing. SERVICE: Ordered through Order Up and notably meal was delivered fast. RETURN: No RECOMMEND: Honestly, I'm not getting anything from this place again, but it seems like a lot of other people like it. Maybe I just ordered the wrong stuff.

My BF was given a Groupon by his parents, and we were excited to try this place with our friends who had been here before and loved it. The Groupon said to call ahead for a reservation, which my BF did and was told over the phone "we're going to have fun tonight!" Awesome start! He and I got there a little early and were greeted by the manager who was hanging out at the bar. He promptly got our waiter, Ron, who yelled my BF's name and threw his arms out for a hug as soon as he saw us (we figured out pretty quickly that he was the one who made the reservation). Probably the most welcoming greeting I've ever had in a restaurant I'd never been to! Poor Ron was the only server, along with 1 bartender, that night. It wasn't too busy but they seemed to have their hands full providing great customer service. Ron apologized for the wait for telling us the specials, but promptly brought us the table tap of Chang beer that he told us about. It was great! They were having a special where we got 1 free souvenir glass for each table tap we ordered. Ron gave us great recommendations for food. We shared a bunch of appetizers but still all had room to finish our entrees and even get Thai donuts for dessert. I had the crispy duck Ka Pow for my entree and it was fantastic. Deep-fried duck is pretty rich, FYI, so it's not something I'd indulge in every time I go there. I sampled some drunken noodles and they were delicious too. My Thai definitely lived up to the hype in terms of taste and service. As Ron promised, we had a lot of fun and can't to go back!

The last time i came to My Thai was back in July while i was apartment hunting. At that time, i was the only patron in the afternoon and the waiter/bartender was lovely to chat with. I ordered the tom yum soup and the papaya salad. The tom yum soup was well worth it. The taste in the broth was complex and they didn't skimp the ingredients (like shrimp). The second time i went was this week, i went to my thai with a friend during dinner hours. The mood felt as warm and friendly as the first time i had gone (with regards to the bartender/waittress. We ordered the pad thai and the hot chicken wings. The glaze /taste on the chicken wings didn't blow me away. The pad thai was delicious. Seeing how this restaurant has convenient/cheap parking, it would be my go to spot if it weren't so darn far.

We're lucky to have so many great Thai restaurants in Baltimore. My Thai is one of the best, arguably the best. Their Tom Yum soup was a bit lacking in flavor, my only complaint. The Laab Gai was solid and Ka Pow, Drunken Noodles and Panang curry were outstanding. The portions are a bit on the small side, but the quality will keep us coming back. Parking is no problem.

Not sure what is going on with MyThai, but lately or should i say the past couple of months i have encountered a lot of inconsistencies with their food. Obviously i can't pinpoint what the reason(s) may be, but here are a few things i have observed. Back in the day at their old location, be it take out or dining in the food was consistently good no question. In their new location i have observed that my takeout orders are just not good. Usually when i order any fried rice/pad thai i specify very spicy, yeah but now their idea of spicy is sprinkling red pepper flakes on top, that was never the case back then. I had a friend place an order for me last night and it just wasnt good, the rice quality was poor. Also the last time i dinned in they mixed up the spicy level with a second order i placed. Dinining in seems to be a little bit better, but the takeout leaves much to be desired. Hopefully they get these issues straightned out since i think its the best Thai place in Bmore.

First off, the service was horrible. We were there for 2 hours. Took 30 minutes to get our appetizers and another 45 minutes for our food. Ridiculous. I had to leave to feed the meter because our time of 1 hour 30 had ran out. Than I noticed that the people who had come in behind us were already eating their food even though we ordered first. Smh. My foodie lunch companion Wayne and I choice this place because it seemed like a great dining option. We ordered the summer rolls , thai tea, and I had the chicken drunken noodles and he had the chicken pad thai. The drunken noodles were great. The tender noodles, fresh crisp vegetables, and savory spices made this dish a winner for me. Wayne enjoyed his pad thai which was a very large portion. The summer rolls were $7 but you get alot and they were fresh and delicious. The peanut sauce was very rich and complimentary to the basil flavored summer rolls. I wanted to try the sticky rice and mango but I didn't want to stay another 30 minutes. I am not sure if I will return because of the poor service but the food was good. I figure if I do I will have to make them focus on their service but it would be less stressful to find somewhere else with good thai food. They deserved 4 stars but the poor service will only allow for 3 stars.

Well, Holy Moly! We've got ourselves a genuinely delicious Thai restaurant here! Everything I ordered was excellent: Long Thailand Iced Tea cocktail - amaaazzziiinnngggg. Tasted like a Thai dreamsicle! Pad See Ew - drool-worthy, stomach-satisfying Pad Thai - good lord, this has beautiful flavour, oh look...it's all gone Mango with sticky rice - IN MY MOUTH FOREVER Thai donuts - Interestingly good (don't expect sweetness. They're naked with sugar pieces on top, with a semi-sweet sesame cream sauce). I know that my review lacks a lot of detail, but really...If you enjoy eating Thai food in a nice place with awesome service (Sarah was perfect!), then you need to come here. No excuses. Do it now.

I was lucky enough to get an invite to this fantastic spot by a friend of mine. It's funny how many times, I've driven past #MyThai and never took a peep inside. I'm glad I finally got the chance! , The food was delicious...I tried the fried green beans, thai tacos, pork dumplings & spring rolls. Two exciting appetizers, I missed but will try when I return in a few weeks, the pork brains & roasted meal worms ...Stacy (one kick ass waitress by the way..and Aung who held us down!!) said they taste nutty. Anyone wanna come try them with me... I also met an auhmaze graphic designer and a pr/marketing guru in the grow. I walked away inspired from the conversation :) they bar set up is very comfortable. The portions make the #HappyHour a must ( 4-7pm wkdays) PS....the head chef is a 23yo mastermind. (fine as hell too... ) #MyThai is worth the trip... #justcuriouslife

Food is good, their whole fish entrees are good WHEN THEY'RE NOT OUT. They are always out of fresh fish lately and they were out of the half chicken entree my wife wanted to order. Seems like they have been out of more and more stuff every time we go. Good food and cool space but never busy. Service can vary.

At first glance I wasn't too impressed by My Thai (it seemed like a place that was trying too hard to be cool and I prefer my Thai food unpretentious) but they had a pretty good offer on Groupon so I decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised by what I found & would definitely come back here again. My initial impression of My Thai was that it seemed like the kind of place that would charge too much for so-so food and I'm happy I was wrong on both accounts. Prices were pretty typical for Thai food in Baltimore and the food that I got to try (green papaya salad, vegetable Panag curry and a seafood noodle dish whose name I forget) was quite good. The vegetables didn't seem quite as fresh as they could have been but the flavoring was excellent and the noodles came with generous amounts of mussels, shrimp, scallops and squid. I have no real complaints about My Thai although I'd recommend not bothering with their cocktails. My girlfriend got one that tasted like little more than alcoholic sugar water with a hint of artificial apple. Other than that everything about the place was solid.

I ordered med-hot red curry with tofu take out. There was very little curry sauce, about 1/2 cup, and the vegetables were what looked like frozen vegetables with cubed carrots and undercooked peas. They also gave me 2 star spiciness when I asked for med-hot. For the price, terrible. The restaurant and bar looked nice and may be a good place to hang out, but it's a little off the beaten path.

I've only been once but their pad thai was outstanding- i wasn't expecting it to be that good! Make sure to ask for their sauce tray and try them all- they add a nice flavor! Atmosphere is kinda dark for lunch but it looked like they have an outdoor area with picnic tables but it wasn't open- perhaps because it was very slow at the time. I'd rather go for dinner.

This place used to be good but the service went down hill real quick. I think there must have been a change in management. The past two times I've been here have been horrible. We've had extremely slow service where we felt neglected yet we were only 1 of 2 tables in the joint. Last night was the last straw. First our appetizer of summer rolls was wrong, they sent spring rolls instead, so that needed to be put back in. We still got our soups, which were wrong but we ate it anyway. As soon as we started eating our soup, our entrees came up. Then in the middle of that another waitress comes by and steals our spice tray for another table. We were almost done eating our entrees when finally our summer rolls come to the table. After that long wait they should have been incredible, and they were the worst I've ever had. Too much cilantro and they were cut up like sushi. Yuck. During all of this the new manager was hanging with customers at the bar, particularly young girls dressed up and continues to feed them drinks. Trying all the different sake they have, I'm sure on the house. Point blank the guy is a creep. I understand that he wants to make customers feel special but how about talking to the majority of your customers and not focus on just two girls at the bar, every time. After all of that and our expressed disappointment we didn't even get our crappy summer rolls taking off our bill. Instead we got a few hearts drawn on our bill in hopes of all the mistakes being reconciled. The only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars is because they do have good food and can make improvements on management and staff. Although I will not be back again to be the judge.

During our latest trek up to the Charm City, we hit My Thai for lunch. My experience was two-faced at this restaurant - the food and the service. Let's get done with the bad part first - the service. Apparently, they are trying out a new ordering system here, with the fancy tablet looking order pad that our hostess was carrying. She had a bit of trouble getting our order in and then also bring us a couple of incorrect dishes. Also the service was slooooooooooow - I could feel Thai Basil growing from the base of our chairs! Luckily this was the extent of our bad experience. The restaurant itself is deceptively large - looks small when you enter but has a whole big section at the back, past the bar. There is a cool looking open patio, but unfortunately it belongs to the restaurant next door. The decor and ambiance is very upscale looking and trendy, and the restrooms are real nice and fancy! Food here is quite authentic and flavorful. We ordered most of our usual dishes and they did not disappoint! Tom Yum soup with Shrimp, Green curry chicken, drunken noodles with chicken, crispy duck ka prow, all dishes were quite good. For dessert, we ordered the Mango and Sticky rice which was A-Ok since the mangoes were not sweet as expected. All in all, a good place for some Thai food in Baltimore!

Great Thai..... Wonderful drunken noodles. I tried the silk worms for my first time ever and I have to say that they were very tasty with a nutty flavor.... Good stuff! Definitely 4+ stars in my opinion.

This was my second Thai experience in Baltimore and I have to say I wasn't very impressed. The waitress recommended we get a beer tower because 4/5 of us ordered the same beer; it took 25 minutes, and one of us to remind her about it, for it to get to our table. It took another 25 minutes to get our soup. We were not a picky group and were in no hurry, but I watched the server for the two tables around us check on their customers several times in the time it took our server to come fill our waters. While our server was taking our order, one of her tables walked out because they had not been tended to. The food came out shortly after the soups, but it was not hot. It seemed as though it had been sitting under the heat lamps for a bit. I had the drunken noodles and the noodles were dry and stuck to each other. The flavors and the heat were excellent and we all really enjoyed our food. During the two and half hours we were there, I watched two different tables come, eat, and leave. I can't say I'd be willing to bring anyone here or even come back unless I really had some time to kill.

I'm impressed. I didn't know what to expect. I heard that the original My Thai in Mount Vernon was just average, but this newly reopened location had decent reviews. Upon entering My Thai, I was stunned by the modern and contemporary Asian fusion decor. The venue is spacious and welcoming. There's also a mini lounge area too. Something I'll keep in the back of my mind. I came with a group of 20 or so. Again, good thing My Thai is pretty spacious. Service was quick and accommodating. Food was awesome. I'm not sure if this is applies across the board, but for lunch at least, everyone entree order comes with a free crisy egg roll. Portions are relatively large. I became a big fan of the Shrimp My Thai, a lightly curried stuffed shrimp dish. The Pad Se-Ew was delicious as well and was made with fresh and succulent vegetables. The Beef Satay was a little underwhelming -- small, but good nonetheless. The Thai Iced Tea was one of the best I've had, but was miniature as I finished that in two seconds. Overall, pleasant experience. Will have to come again.

My Thai is back! My Thai was my favorite Thai restaurant before it burned down so many years ago, so you will have to excuse my excitement. The new restaurant is 'hidden' on Central avenue. I say hidden because unless you were looking for it, you'd drive straight pass it. I am not sure if I'd place it in Harbor East, Little Italy, or the void in between. The new location is, however, much larger than the one in Mount Vernon. They also expanded their bar area significantly, and I would not be surprised to see this restaurant to become more of a lounge at night. The menu seemed mostly unchanged from the previous location. Still my favorite Drunken Noodles in all of Baltimore. Their chicken is easily the best cooked out of all of the other Thai restaurants. Lunch includes a spring roll. Prices were unchanged as well. Parking is a lot easier to get than their old location because fewer people live along Central. If you too have missed My Thai, find yourself in Little Italy or Harbor East and craving Thai, or just want to eat something great, seek out the 'hidden' treasure that is the newly reopened My Thai!

First, the address is very misleading, as the restaurant might be in a building that has a 1300 Bank Street address, but the restaurant is actually on Central Ave. Very nice spacious interior! We were a group of six, and had made reservations for lunch (not necessary), and had a great round table. The woman who was our server was friendly, although a bit difficult to understand at times. We shared a great many appetizers, and they were all delicious. Everyone greatly enjoyed their dishes, as well. My colleague who has the pad thai declared it the best she's ever eaten. I loved my green curry, particularly that it didn't have just chicken, but a good amount of vegetables as well. I was also pleased that brown rice was available for a slight upcharge. Overall, if I lived in Baltimore, I would definitely become a frequent diner at My Thai.

Welcome back my Thai. I actually think they improved since the old venture in Mt Vernon. Funny enough they moved into the old lemon grass space. The restaurant is still ginormous. They added a small plate bar in place of where the giant Bhuddah statue used to be. They also do not have the upstairs. We ordered the stir fried silk worms to start. I have had silk worms in the past (stewed) and this was a much more pleasant (and clean) taste. Also ordered the rockfish and a seafood stew. The food was good, but felt very Americanized. Service is also a bit on the slow side. (what is up with slow Thai restaurants and Baltimore?) Final verdict, may or may not come back, but if you are craving Thai there are worst places to choose.

Was looking forward to going here for a bit. We ordered an outrageous amount (a curry, some friend rice, drunken noodles and so on) of food and it wasn't better than okay. Service was adequate on a Saturday afternoon when it was entirely empty (always my preference). For the moderate pricing, the stang of Siam is still king and for cheaper? Thai elephant wok is even better.

My girlfriend and I had a groupon to here and thought we'd give it a shot. I was completely blown away! The waiter was personal and his suggestions were perfect for us. We had the Pork Dumplings and Kalamari as appetizers, both were outstanding. Then we each got drunken noodles, hers was mild and mine was blazing, just right. The flavor was amazing and the portions were great(because I'm a big portion guy). I couldn't have been more pleased and excited to find this place. Now that I know they do take out too, I will be stopping in for some noodles for the couch on sweatpants Fridays!

My Thai was awful. I cannot believe yelpers I thought I trusted have anything good to say about this place! The food was so bad - as in, worse than the mall bad. We tried dishes from all areas of the menu. Pad Thai, a curry, something off of the Grill portion of the menu. Salad. It's so pathetic. The curry was obviously frozen vegetable medley. The pad Thai had a hair in it for one thing. Its replacement tasted like The worst frozen dinner you can imagine. We watched the Grilled item - I don't remember what it was-- being made, and then sat for about five minutes before our waitress handed to us... It wasn't even edible. The salad was some kind of a joke... The service was abysmal. We did make reservations and when we arrived, our reserved table was the Grill counter. Eventually I got the hostess to move us to a real table, Maybe 20 minutes later. Our server disappeared for 15 minutes at a time.... And even when she was there - we could not understand her! We eat at many Thai restaurants -- and try to eat at places where Thai people work-- I have never had a problem like this --it was ridiculous. I hope this does not come off as xenophobic, Because it is most certainly not. While we sat at the Grill counter, we watched a woman take food out of some kind of prep bowl that was just sitting there, and place it on the heat. It never did sizzleor anything so I say heat with a question mark... A very strange sight indeed. And again, when she eventually took the food off, then put it back into that prep bowl, then eventually onto a plate--- it would then sit and sit and sit and sit before anyone came to get it. Where is the health department? My Thai was so bad that we ended up leaving without even getting our dessert. It may have been the worst meal of the year.

Heard through the grapevine that I had to come here. Nestled in Little Italy in B-more surrounded my cute cobblestone roads. This place is modern in decor, clean, and just zen-like. I'm already amped to try their food and crossing my fingers that their food matches they're surroundings. It does! We ordered the chicken larb (spicy) with lettuce cups (that we asked for and they happily obliged). Great flavor, great texture, and not too much of the fish sauce. Great starter! We ordered pork pad Thai with a side of peanut sauce (I like it mixed in, sue me) and extra crushed peanuts. Soo good! Just the right balance of the spice level we asked for. Between the tamarind flavor and squeeze of lime.. It danced harmoniously. The real star.. The real surprise.. Was the crispy duck in like a chunky chili jam sauce. I have this fav Thai dish from back home that I haven't had in years and this dish brought me home. I think I squealed after the first bite. I'm pretty sure I did. It's chunks of duck, ever so lightly battered and fried perfectly.. Tossed with the chili jam type of sauce that's sweet and spicy... Omg.. I know what I'm having for dinner and the drive in rush hour traffic is going to be worth this dish alone. We did end our dinner with with banana wrapped with wontons skins, fried.. Drizzled with chocolate sauce and 2 big scoops of cookies n cream ice cream. That was awesome.. But that was more for my little ones and husband. ;)

Wonderful staff, really friendly. Food was fast and fresh. I had the red curry (spicy 2) and it was perfect. Appetizer spring rolls were also very good and not tiny, good for sharing. The 'eye opener' cocktail was quite strong, they don't skimp on the liquor! You definitely get your money's worth and a great atmosphere too.

The first thing you should know is that their address is awfully misleading, because they're closer to the corner of Central and Gough than to 1300 Bank Street. The spacious interior made the place look rather empty for a Thursday evening downtown. The staff was very pleasant and helpful, suggesting specials. We shared spring rolls as an appetizer, which were crisp and tasty, and not overly greasy. The sweet and sour sauce was nice. The Thai Iced tea we got was not cloying like at so many other places(I'm looking at you, Spice and Dice). For an entree, I got the Talay noodles, which were flat rice noodles in a chili garlic sauce with an assortment of seafood: shrimp, scallops, mussels, and squid. Overall, the dish was pretty tasty, but my squid were so overcooked as to be inedible. I found this especially unusual because the other items were cooked to a perfect doneness, including the scallops. My date ordered pineapple fried rice, which was also tasty, but missing the cashews the menu promised and the snow peas she requested. Once we were able to find a waitress, though, she happily obliged with sides of cashews. Perhaps we weren't creative enough in ordering, but none of what we had, save the spring rolls perhaps, would be terribly difficult to replicate in the home kitchen for less than half the cost. Overall, it was a positive yet flawed dining experience.

This place needs to get its shit together. It's a little obvious that they spent most of their budget on the decor (which is nice) and fancy ipads for the servers rather than on a decent amount of staff. Waited for almost 10 minutes for someone to come over to the hostess stand to seat us, at least 10 minutes for someone to come by and ask if anyone had taken our drink order (no real greeting or anything), at least 15 minutes to get the drinks (and had to ask for water a second time when it didn't arrive), and then of course over 30 minutes to actually get the food, and my husband's was slightly cold. The food itself was decent and well-priced, the cocktail selection was lacking and the firefly was gross. I'd honestly rather go to a cheap Thai takeout and lose the fancy decor, because then at least then my expectations will be met. They should know better to release a Groupon if they're not ready for it. Oh and as others have said, this is NOT on Bank St, it's on Central.

I've been meaning to check this place out for weeks, and I finally got my opportunity! It's in between Harbor East and Little Italy, right next to Heavy Seas. My friends and I got there late on a Saturday and the place was practically empty. What a bummer! You guys are missing out! We ordered a beer tower of rice beer, or as they call it, a Chang Bang. It wasn't too pricey and the beer was good. I ordered Chicken Pad Thai and it was awesome. My friend ordered chicken that was on fire, which is always fun. Everyone enjoyed their meals, and there was tons of extra food. The service was also excellent! I'd highly recommend this place and can't wait to go back!

My Thai is a decent option for Thai food in Baltimore with a lot of seating and a decent atmosphere. They are woefully under staffed for the amount of space they have so come prepared to be patient. We started with some of their cocktails - the Fire Fly was delicious once it stopped tasting like Christmas and the Eye Opener was only OK (the cucumber liqeur really competed with the whiskey to its detriment). For appetizers we really enjoyed the pork dumplings (A+) but could have passed on the summer rolls which came with an under seasoned sauce. For dinner we went right to one of the whole fish specials which was fried and served with a sauce. The fish itself was GREAT but we had specifically requested a spicy sauce and it was underwhelming to say the least. The sauce was flavorful but it ranked a 0..5 on a spicy scale from 0-10. Maybe the waitress never passed on our request. We also split the Hor Mok Talay (marked spicy but is NOT) - the seafood was all very flavorful and well cooked. I really enjoyed the flavors in the sauce but was again disappointed by the lack of heat in this dish. At the end we were full so we chose to skip desert. I can see us returning when we next get an itch for Thai food but the food does not come close to the best Thai I've ever had.

I wound up here after another Thai restaurant didn't work out. Parking was super easy (win). I ordered the vegetable summer rolls with peanut sauce and tofu pad thai. I'm pretty finicky with my peanut sauce. The peanut sauce here was delicious with just a bit of spice. The tofu summer rolls were good. I had tofu pad thai without the egg. The tofu was light and crispy. I felt like the pad thai could have been seasoned a little more, but that was not enough to deter me! If you love leftovers, My Thai will not disappoint. I will definitely be back!

My husband and I decided to check out My Thai last Saturday for dinner. We strolled in around 7ish or so and were greeted by a very friendly hostess. Since we didn't have a reservation, she led us to a small plate bar that she explained prepared traditional "Thai Street Food." We decided to order the Thai Beef (which came with the fried rice ball and a mango salad) and the Chicken Wings from the bar. The chef behind the bar was super nice too and chatted with us as we watched him prepare our appetizers. The completed products were delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented! For our entrees, my husband ordered Pad See Lew noodle dish, with chicken at a medium spice level. I ordered the Green Curry with Seafood at a hot spice level. Both dishes tasted great, however we think the kitchen mixed up our spice preferences, as my husbands dish was just a bit too spicy for him, and mine was definitely more on the medium side. Other than the spice issue, we both really enjoyed our time and food at My Thai. This is a place we will be back to!

2nd visit and this time with a group of 12. Everyone loved the food and service. Excellent drunken noodles in particular. My previous review still holds. Thumbs up to MyThai.

Living in Cockeysville, we have a Thai place, but I stopped going the day a roach crawled across my table. Ever since, i've been looking for a new great place to go. Reading the reviews from My Thai's fans, I knew I needed to go, so my husband and I excitedly went last night for dinner. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, the front room is gorgeous (not so much the back room... it almost has an unfinished feel to it for me), and the food was realllly good. I especially like that they have a place where you can hang your coat so you don't have to deal with it at your table. Unfortunately, there was a mix up with our entrees; my husband's Ka Pow Moo Krob was to be spicy, and my Drunken Noodles was not, and they did it backwards. A mistake no kitchen wants to make, to be sure, and one that could have been fixed easily enough by remaking my meal (my husband was ok with his being non-spicey; not his preference, but it was ok with him) quickly--but our server didn't check in with us quickly, and she missed my trying to call her over twice (I was, unfortunately, easy to miss--she had three tables, and the other two were on the far opposite side of the room from our table--something I don't understand), and by the time she checked on us, he was almost finished eating. I explained what had happened, and she was incredibly apologetic. I asked to have it remade and put in a to-go box so I could take it home. That happened. We had dessert (LOVE the mango with sticky rice, and the fried banana roll with ice cream), paid the check, and left. I admit to being a bit surprised that we weren't offered dessert or a discount on my entree because of the inconvenience...that would have been a super-nice touch, and would have sealed the deal on my coming back for another visit. As it is, that decision still hasn't been made. If I'm going to spend $60 (inc tip) for a meal, I know lots of places that will absolutely get it right--the first time.

First off, the food is really good. I am so excited to have good Thai food in my neighborhood and near my work. I will be eating here all the time. But what makes my Thai the best is the managment. I made a mistake, thinking they had made a mistake and they were so patient and accommodating, even though the misunderstanding was my fault. I highly recommend!

Best Thai food on this side of the harbor... possibly as good as it gets in Baltimore! First, the ambience and decor are far beyond what you would expect at first glance. The place is modern and enormous. Great for a date night. The food was fantastic. My group had different appetizers and entrees and everyone was very happy with how it turned out. The service is also fantastic, this place is family owned and the team working there is super nice. Go check it out, you'll be pleasantly surprised!

I love this place!! Best Thai Tea!!!! I love the drunken noodles and the big variety of Appetizers they offer. I am not a big fan of the tom yum soup it's missing something. But other wise this place is great. Also the Thai donuts are a good way to end the meal!

I was hoping to write the first review for My Thai at the new location. Oh well, pay attention because I've actually eaten here already. I am really excited that they have moved to my neighborhood. I hated that the fire in Mt Vernon did so much damage, but this tells me that change really is good, This morning is the "Grand Opening" at Central Ave. and Bank St, next to Heavy Seas Tavern, at the corner of Little Italy and Harbor East. Please find them and enjoy the food. I understand that they have been in soft opening mode for two weeks and I just found that out last night. Obviously the crowd was almost non-existent but I hope that as a few of us knew to go there even before the opening, it is a good sign. The space seems huge. It was Lemongrass a few years ago. It has a large bar area with a separate open kitchen which I guess will be for bar plates and sushi. The restaurant is looooong. I hope that spread doesn't make for future service issues. Last night the service was very personal and professional. I can only hope the weeks of practice will support the crowds I also hope will support the new spacious location,. which does feel a bit cold and industrial compared to the previous basement location in Mt Vernon. The food was as expected and remembered. It is reasonable and the serving sizes were generous. It is always a treat to have a generous serving when the food is really good. We sampled some basics, Pad Thai chicken, Drunken Noodles, and the green papaya salad. Each was fresh, seasoned to my taste, and the server supplied a tray of spices and vinegars that was at one time common to Thai restaurants but has often gone away from the service. The presentation of the spices made me believe that they really cared about whether I enjoyed my food. The bar, beer and wine selection was fairly complete although they did not have the first bottle of wine that I requested. The wine list is not extensive but it is also not extremely overpriced with most bottle selections in the 20's. The question remains: will the food and service stand up to a crowd? I hope we find that out and the answer is a definite YES. I'll be back and I'll be sure to post an update. Just go already!

Not that great. Overpriced in my opinion. Service typically slow. Would recommend Thai Yum in Federal Hill instead (formerly ten o six).

Groupon got me in the door. The food was really good I had the drunken shrimp yummo. The shrimp cakes were good as well for an appetizer. They do have a lot of specialty drinks but the ones I had were all that. They did add 15% gratuity to the check and I was not feeling that. The service was pretty good however. I would recommend and go again.

I can easily see My Thai becoming a favorite spot for my boyfriend and I. Very vegetarian/ pescetarian friendly. They are super accommodating with alterations to the menu. Had to try the Pad Thai with shrimp and was thoroughly impressed. The Panang Curry with seafood was spicier than I would have liked, even done mild, but it was full of flavor. The Lychee Pear-Tini was my drink of choice as it was mild and not too sweet. Ron was our waiter and he was extremely helpful. Can't wait to try this place again!

My Thai definitely lived up to its reopening hype! From the cocktails (the fireball is a must try) to dessert, it was incredible. We had the crispy green beans, papaya salad, pattaya shrimp, and mango with sticky rice. Everything was great. I can't wait to go back!

Delicious food. Great service. We were here for my brothers birthday and were sat in a quiet area by ourselves. At the end of the meal the waitress Tanny T caught me coming back from the bathroom to tell me she was going to bring out donuts with a candle for my brother. We hadn't even told her it was his birthday! She then dimmed the lights and brought it out singing, and of course we weren't charged for it. On the way out everyone there wished him a happy birthday! It was so sweet and really made the night so much better. Everyone there is so friendly it's really a great atmosphere I will definitely be back soon.

My favorite Thai place in Baltimore hands down. Their Talay Noodles is amazing. I was in tears when their original location in Mt. Vernon burned down and was in tears of joy when I heard that it had re-opened but to a new location.

This is our favorite restaurant in Baltimore. Everything (but the silk worms, which we got once on an adventurous night) has been great. The curry dishes are all great. We like the crispy green beans and calamari appetizers. The Ka Pow Moo Krob is excellent. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend trying My Thai.

My Thai was someplace that we looked up randomly because we were just in the area. We weren't expecting to find the best Thai food in Baltimore, so we were pleasantly surprised. We went here for a late Saturday lunch so there weren't too many customers. I had the chicken drunken noodle and my friend had the tofu pad thai. The drunken noodle dish was pretty good. It was flavorful and spicy. If I had to pick one small thing was that the noodles seemed to be a tad overcooked and therefore a little more sticky than I would have liked. The pad thai was a little underwhelming, perhaps because it was a little too sweet? Overall, the food was good and the service was fine. I'll be going back and perhaps I'll try the pad see ew next time!

After all the rave reviews, I expected more. But it was just okay. Had the veggie spring rolls, crispy wontons and pad see ew. Nothing was awful but it wasn't great either. The spring rolls were pretty bland and would be easier to eat if the kitchen cut them in half as they were a bit messy to handle. The crispy wontons barely had any filling - skip those. And the pad see ew was fine but it was missing that smoky, soy sauce-y depth. The service was nice however. Maybe they were just having an off day? It was just an average experience overall.

Omm nom nom. I've been twice now for dinner, and everything I've had has been delicious except an apple absinthe cocktail (I was feeling adventurous) that was godawful. Great beer selection on tap though. The restaurant is pretty spacious and service is friendly, and I like that it's walkable from Fells.

My wife and I have been looking for a Thai restaurant in the city for some time now, and had all but given up until we were passing the area last night. We decided to go for dinner with a friend, and we were not disappointed! We shared 4 appetizers, a soup, 2 meals and drinks and total was under 70 dollars! The food was delicious, fresh, not too salty, and was well seasoned. The atmosphere was clean and modern. It has a wide variety of seating areas for small tables to very large parties, to areas with private seating to bar seating with Thai street food. We will be going back soon! Finally, a great Thai place in Baltimore City!!

I had an early dinner here tonight. Although the food was all delicious- the timing was ridiculous. My mom ordered soup just as we sat down to warm up. I then ordered a different kind of soup at least 5 minutes later. My soup came out at least 8 minutes before hers- so we split both, both were delicious. If that was the only mishap it would have been fine. But, we then ordered our entrees at the same time (She ordered the Duck Ka Pow, and I ordered Pad Thai). The duck came out at a reasonable time, and then we were told the Pad Thai would be right out. And ten minutes later, again told it would be right out. We then waited another 10 minutes. The duck was long gone before the Pad Thai got to the table. We were only a party of 2- and neither course could come out at the same time? If it had been either the soup or entrees it would have been fine, but this was a bit ridiculous. It's unfortunate though- the Pad Thai is some of the best I've ever had, and I had come to this restaurant once before and had a great experience. Hopefully it was just a fluke.

i feel like baltimore city is pretty lacking in dee-licious thai food but this is probably one of the better thai places inside the city that i have had which is why it gets four stars. it is definitely not the best thai food i have ever had and probably would have only gotten 3 stars if i were not taking into consideration the location. that being said, our server was very friendly and made us feel very welcome and the restaurant itself was very spacious. the clams appetizer was very tasty with the peppers and thai basil. the seafood pad thai was flavorful and i was very happy that none of the seafood was rubbery or overcooked- i just wish they had turned the heat up on the wok a bit more to get more of that flavor! drunken noodles and the green curry were good as well but pretty normal. oh, and i also ate a silk worm...yea no big deal...

Dined in twice so far and had great experiences both times! The restaurant is spacious and clean. The waitstaff is awesome: Ron in particular is a trip! All the food is well prepared and tastes fresh. They even had some Thai street fare items on the menu... The Silk worms (yes, silk worms) fried with a soy glaze were crunchy, salty and gross enough to be cool. The tom ka gai soup: delicious. Spicy eggplant: my fave! Drunken noodles: very good and spicy enough to make me happy. Will definitely return. The best parts (besides the food and super excellent waitstaff) are the plentiful street and garage parking, and the laid back atmosphere. It's likely this is our new go-to, centrally located dinner spot. ( With a crew spread from Glen Burnie to Bel Air, this is perfect.)

We came here after happy hour at Heavy Seas and wow, what a pleasant surprise. The place is very large and has a plehora of thai food served by American servers. win Win. The pad thai is amazing. Probably the best I've ever had. The crispy duck entree was a miss, it was heavily breaded and we actually sent it back and the server graciously offered us another choice. This would not have happened in another thai restaurant. The Panang curry was out of this world. I am an avid eater and this place has the authenticity of a family run restaurant with the efficiency and service of a large chain. I cannot wait to go back.

First and foremost -- this restaurant is actually on S. Central Ave. 323 S. Central should get you there if you're using a GPS. The food was delicious, they easily accommodated our large group, and the service was fast. The prices were reasonable and the decor was really well done -- not chintzy like a lot of thai restaurants that I've been to.

One of the best meals I've had in a long time!! Had a Groupon (that the owner very kindly extended for me by a couple of days - thanks for that!) and went on Saturday. Had read good reviews but also some not-so-good ones, but I have to say I have rarely enjoyed a meal this much since I move to the US two years ago!! We had two wonderful starters - grilled calamari which had the most delicious seasoning and marinated beef skewers and rice cake, also incredibly scrumptious, followed by two mains - the crispy duck and Pad Woon Sen, a dish I had never heard of before but which was 0h-so-yummy (better than Pad Thai, in my opinion). They have a great drinks list, too, and the meal was made perfect by Ron, our outstanding waiter, who was not only super nice, but also extremely knowledgable - he really knew what he was talking about and what a nice change that makes to a lot of waiters who know nothing about the food they are selling!! We will definitely be back, and I will be lpoking for Ron when we go back. The only minor criticism would maybe be the ambiance - it's not a very cosy place, but that is secondary. If you want absolutely outstanding Thai food (it actually seemed almost fusion to me), go to My Thai.

I have only been to MyThai a few times, once at the old location and twice at the new location. I'm not too food adventurous so I get my tried-and-true favorite of Ka Pow chicken. It is always delicious at MyThai both when I have dined in the restaurant and take-out. Take out is speedy during both busy and slower times. I have somewhat of a big appetite, but I do wish that the portion size was a smidgen better. I think that my chicken with peppers and the cup of rice they give for take-out filled a small cereal bowl. Oh, they also make great Jasmine rice.

They would be getting 5 stars if our waitress hadn't been so forgetful. The food is GREAT! We ordered the Lettuce Wraps, Drunken Noodles, and Panang Curry. They were all awesome. The Panang Curry comes with SO MUCH sauce. I took some of my chicken and the leftover sauce home and ate it with some rice the next day for lunch... the leftover sauce was enough to sop up an entire cup of cooked rice. That alone is reason for me to go back!

Since moving to Baltimore last summer I hadn't really found a good Thai place so I was excited to try this one in my neighborhood. I'm so glad I found it! It was absolutely delicious and the ambiance is very nice. The bar is spacious and attractive and it would be a nice place to just have a drink. They have a lot of space in the restaurant too and the service was good. It's a bit pricey.. I think every entree was above 12, but I've found Thai food is more expensive in B'more than NYC where I used to live.

(2)Stella L.

(3)Natasha R.
(4)David M.

(3)Valeriya T.

Food tasted great! Chicken lettuce wraps are good and the lychee peach martini is a MUST! So good!!! Will definitely return!

I only had a Glass of Wine... No Food but I met the owner and he was very nice, personable and warm. He sat with me and watched the Game. It is Very Clean with a Very modern Vibe. I look forward to my next visit. Lunch Happy Hour or Dinner.

My, oh, my, I sure do love My Thai! Ever since the Elite Event we had here, I've been meaning to come back and bring my bf, too. Well, his birthday was the perfect occasion! Plus, I knew My Thai had the space to fit a large group, 12 of us, to be precise. When making reservations two weeks in advance, I had 10 people, that changed to 13 at which point I called and they could still do that! I asked about the possibility of separate checks, she said only for 14... what? Why 14? Not sure, but it worked out anyway, and our final number ended up at 12. We had a long table at the back, near the kitchen. Although groups arrived at different times, our server was awesome about getting us some drinks while we waited and telling us the specials. I was really tempted to just order a million appetizers and call that my meal as I remember them being soooo tasty at the Elite event. I ended up with Chicken Satay, Pork Dumplings to share and Pork Mussa Mun as my entree. Soo good! My entrée was my least favorite, it was really tasty, but seemed like mostly sauce which I had to wade through in order to find thin slices of pork and the vegetables. Many of our group ordered Pad Thai and seemed to enjoy it. We had fun choosing from the cocktail menu, my fav being the Berry My Thai! And, since they knew we were celebrating a birthday, they dimmed the lights, brought out a dozen little Thai doughnuts drizzled in chocolate with a candle and sang with the accompaniment of a gong! Another awesome experience at My Thai!

(4)Janeen B.

The owner is great and the food is delicious. Great prices as well. Best Thai Food in Baltimore MD

(3)Ace P.

(3)Nikki L.
Pleasantly surprised by how good the food was here. Being a native, it's quite difficult to find an authentic Thai restaurant. The reason why this place didn't get 5 stars was because the service was quite slow. Other than that, I would recommend this place to everyone who wants "Real" Thai food.
(4)Monique P.

(4)Katy P.

Went to Baltimore for the first time and was craving some thai food and found my thai in another word my heaven.... everything my husband and I order was on the point... great service and price... if ever back in Baltimore for sure going back

(4)Lauren D.
Good service, good enough drinks, decent food. Papaya salad was really good, but don't get the duck soup!
(3)Cici H.
I ordered the vegetable pad thai from this place and it was just ok. Very blah, nothing special about it. Where can I find delicious pad thai in Bmore -_- !!!
(3)Sarah P.
(3)Michelle W.
(4)Kira C.
Just moving here from NY, I was starting to worry that I wouldn't find any good local Thai food. Well here it is!! Ordered Pad Thai and Chicken with vegetables. Was super fresh. Even the tomatoes with my chicken tasted like they were right out of the garden. Very impressed.
(5)Robin S.
(2)Dominique F.
While my pad see eew tasted pretty good, I was hoping that service wise this place would have been a tad bit better. Oh well, guess I shouldn't have that high expectations anymore ....
(3)Ray R.
(3)Jay L.
(4)Sarah J.
(4)Jackie R.

(5)Axl R.

(5)Kathleen L.
The best thai food in the city! The tom yum soup is delicious. Always the freshest ingredients!
(5)Eric L.
(5)Vandna S.
I love My Thai..It's just awesome place, authentic food, and have good service. Our waitress was friendly. I ordered chicken drunken noodles and chive dumplings, all the veggies were fresh.. Love it, will go next time..

Love the drinks, love the food, love thai tacos!!!! They are always coming up with new creation, loving their steak!!

(5)Tracy Z.
Came to this place with friends and had a great time! The price is pretty good too. Waited so long for them to re-open at the old place, but this place is great too!
(5)Holly A.
Had a birthday party for my husband at My Thai. The food was wonderful and the service was fantastic. We got the private room and just had a fantastic time. If you want a good time, good food, and good service, then come eat at My Thai!
(5)Matthew L.
(3)Jaime T.
Food here is amazing. Mixed drinks were pretty tasty as well. Service is great, nice ambiance. I will definitely be going back.
(5)J. M.
(3)Justin W.

(4)Anna K.
(3)Ankita M.
We ordered ka pow fried rice with shrimp and chicken Panang curry. Both were good especially fried rice was really good.
(4)Kate C.
(4)Laura G.

(3)Hannah B.
(5)Robby B.
(5)Nathan A.
I love this place!! Best Thai Tea!!!! I love the drunken noodles and the big variety of Appetizers they offer. I am not a big fan of the tom yum soup it's missing something. But other wise this place is great. Also the Thai donuts are a good way to end the meal!
(4)Chrissie X.
Really good Thai restaurant!! I really love the Green Curry and Red Curry here!! This is the best Asian restaurant in harbor east!Really good Thai restaurant!! I really love the Green Curry and Red Curry here!! This is the best Asian restaurant in harbor east!

(5)Lauren G.
Not that great. Overpriced in my opinion. Service typically slow. Would recommend Thai Yum in Federal Hill instead (formerly ten o six).
(2)Zena T.
(4)Katie K.
(5)Amy R.
My Thai definitely lived up to its reopening hype! From the cocktails (the fireball is a must try) to dessert, it was incredible. We had the crispy green beans, papaya salad, pattaya shrimp, and mango with sticky rice. Everything was great. I can't wait to go back!
(4)T S.
Food, Ambiance, and Prices, made this place great. Waiter wasn't as attentive as I would prefer, although front hostess was super nice, but nonetheless I would still go back.
(5)Kelsey W.
(5)Jean S.
My favorite Thai place in Baltimore hands down. Their Talay Noodles is amazing. I was in tears when their original location in Mt. Vernon burned down and was in tears of joy when I heard that it had re-opened but to a new location.
(5)Graham B.
(5)Esther L.
(4)amanda p.

This place is awesome. Great service. Outstanding food. I was in town for work and the business partners and I ate here every night, it was that good.

My new fave Thai place in Baltimore! Every app, entree, and dessert we ordered was amazing and the service was great. The portions are generous, so prepare yourself with elastic waist pants or bringing home lots of leftovers!

Finally after almost four years in Baltimore I found a good Thai restaurant that can rival my go to Basil Thai in Charlotte. The pad seeew is fantastic. Very clean and great service definitely going back!!

Excellent Thai restaurant. Best in town. Great atmosphere. Gorgeous bar view. Recommended Signature Cocktails are 1. Firefly 2. The eye opener Bar food is also awesome thai-western fusion.

I've come with friends a few times now and have had good service from the bar and at the tables. We enjoyed the soup noodle appetizer, curry duck and ka pow dishes.
