We ordered a large pizza for delivery. Delivery was prompt, less than 30 min. The pizza itself was super greasy and the crust was a medium thickness, basically reminded me of the old Dominos pizza. It had very little flavor but was edible. Didnt love the taste and probably wont be ordering it again.

I really wanted to love this place, as it appeared to be the kind of low key place that makes an awesome, cheap pie. However, while reasonably priced and quickly delivered, it's just not a real pizza. While I couldn't offer an obviously superior delivery option in the area, Mikie's is not a place I'll be ordering from again. Greasy, rubbery, and with a forgettable taste...the best praise I can offer is that it's not completely terrible

Staying at local hotel. The front desk gave us a menu. I ordered the large sausage pizza and 10 hot wings. Over all pizza was good, smaller then I expected, but good. The hot wings were not great, but edible. Would not get them again. Delivery was right on time at 35 minutes.

This place is horrible all around. Let me first discuss the horrible service. We placed our order for delivery at 6 pm and it said it would take between 40-55 minutes. We finally got our food at 8 pm after the store gave the driver the wrong cell phone number and he drove away with our food (without leaving it at the front desk of our apartment, probably so he could get his tip... which he really did not deserve.) When we finally got our pizza it was really nothing to write home about. I was hoping for something cheap and delicious but what we ended up with was something like papa john's, with 500% more hassle. And the person who took our call was completely clueless in customer service and did not offer once to try to rectify the situation simply stating that our pizza wouldn't be "too cold" after 2 hours. Will never order from here again.

Ordered pizza for lunch to my office--it was d-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s... The sauce was tasty and fresh, and both my basil/tom./cheese and sausage pizzas were stellar. The prices were decent too. Delivery was w/in 45 min.

Don't be fooled by the sandwich "platters", they don't actually come with any sides and they charge full price. Decided not to order sides because they came "with the platter", upon delivery was informed that the "website is wrong" and received no fries or slaw but yet paid the platter price. Also purchased a 2 liter of soda and received 4 cans, ounce for ounce, this does not add up. Called the company back to order a side of fries due to the false advertisement online, also willing to pay full price. The person who answered the phone was not apologetic at all. Food quality was poor and service awful. I will never order from Mikie's again.

I've gotten ziti with meatballs and ravioli and both have been delicious, smothered in cheese and tasty sauce. The portions are pretty large too. I've only gone for pickup, and it's usually ready in about 15 min. It's not out of this world, but for the price and convenience, it's pretty good.

Let me get this out first. The pizza is good and relatively cheap. We live around the corner so we normally walk to pick up our order - no comments on delivery times. We've sampled some of the non-pizza menu items (mozz sticks, gyro, chicken cheesesteak, burger, fries) and they are not good. They've also messed up our orders twice. You should always double and triple check your order before you leave or before you let the delivery guy leave. You won't regret it. Mikie's is a strange joint. It looks from the outside like your typical neighborhood pizza place, complete with warmly glowing neon lights, green awning and friendly name. Once you step inside it's like you've entered another world. First, there isn't a single Italian to be found. Actually, based on the staff I'd have a hard time believing anyone named Mikie actually works there. Kinda wierd. And authenticity? The pizza is cooked on one of those conveyor belt type gas ovens. It's all about speed and efficiency at Mikies, no wood-fired stone ovens here. Second, there's the space issue. There is none. There are two green chairs to the right, a small chest-high counter with two registers, a large cooler filled with a variety of sodas and other chilled non-alcoholic libations in the corner, and next to that a white chest freezer holding God knows what. That's it. Oh, and there's a menu swinging over the front desk with a sampling of the menu offerings. If you get there when there are two other people waiting for their order you'll have nowhere to go. Better stand outside or get ready to get real close with your new friends real fast. The bottom line with Mikies is that it's just OK. The pizza is OK, the service is OK, and the prices are OK. I personally think Pizza Boli has better pie, but Mikies is a nice standby. Order the pizza forget about the rest of the menu.

Pathetic place 2 hours before pizza came. Then they wanted to get paid...no way. They told us they would be a 5 minutes. Oh and then 45.. We gave driver 5 and told him that's it. They never said anything and never called when we're gonna be late. Oh yeah so they call us later and want there money. Really, you have our number now. Please run a business not a handout.

I ordered a pizza to come to my job, he asked for my telephone # 3 times still got it wrong. Deliver driver had trouble calling me when he arrived because he had the wrong #, and got smart with me. Asked for medium w/extra cheese & mushroom, they sent medium mushroom no extra cheese. First time ordering, when at work and I have a taste for pizza, I will order somewhere else. Pizza was pretty bland s I had to add additional seasonings

So rude, you can hardly believe what's coming out of their mouth. It's the 4th of July, we have a big group that would have been a pretty big sale for them. They told us that they were 'done for the night' at 8:45pm. When I asked what time they closed after reminding them that their menu said they close at 11:30pm, they said 9pm because it's a special night. So apparently 9pm means the same as 8:45pm to this business. The guy hung up on me because I told him that we were relying on them for our holiday celebration at our hotel. Our hotel concierge was shocked and told me to turn around and look at their delivery man who was getting in his car after another delivery to hotel. He told me to call back, so I did and I told him I wasn't pleased that he lied to me and told me it was 9pm when I was on the phone when it was actually 8:45pm. He said 'We're done for the night!' in a rude/angry voice and hung up on me again!!! I get that it is a special night for their employees, but maybe they should close at 8:45pm if they are going to stop working then...oh yeah, and they shouldn't treat their customers like dog sh*t. The hotel manager ripped up their menu and said he won't ever refer customers to them again...at least someone (Hampton Inn & Suites near Camden Yards) knows how to treat their customers... This company may care about their employees, but they're an epic failure in caring for the people that they 'serve.' Try Brother's Pizza instead. They took my order and are already on their way...

I was struggling to give this 3 stars. A large pizza with pepperonis cost me less than $14, so the price was very affordable. The sauce was sweet, not bad. They put a lot of cheese on the pizza and i did feel like they could of left it in the oven a little longer to melt the cheese better. Pepperonis were good. I was not completely sold on the crust. A little too thick and crunchy for me. I like my crust thin and soft. Overall the pizza was not bad but no where near a 4 or 5 star pizza.

Got take out here a few days ago.... Fries were great and pizza is good. But the wings were not edible in the slightest.... I'm a huge fan of wings anywhere and don't have high expectations, so the fact that I had to toss em says a lot.

yummy Margherita Pizza topped with lots of garlic, fresh tomatoes and basil. SO GOOD! We ordered for delivery and the pizza came within 30 minutes. They gave us extra marinara sauce and garlic butter as well. We ordered chicken wings and a sub as well. Both were decent (the chicken wings need more sauce), but the pizza is what will keep me coming back. o, also, they charge $1 for delivery.

I will never order from Mikies again and urge anyone doing so to please beware. I ordered a calzone from here at 6:50 pm on a Thursday night. I was quoted 45 minutes as my delivery time. By 8pm I had not received it so I called in to see the status. I was quickly and rashly told that my order was out for delivery and on its way. At 8:25 it still was not here so I again called and was told that they were sending it out now. I quickly asked why he had told me 25 minutes ago it went out and why they had lied to me about this. He made up something about how the delivery drive had left then but was not going directly to me and he had traveled "all around the world" to delivery. It was difficult interacting with the man on the phone as he had a thick accent and poor control of the english language. At this point I was quite hungry and annoyed (1.5 hours at this point from time of order) but said alright and hung up. At 9"00 the food was not here, so I went to the bottom of my hotel to see if he was out front, when he wasn't, I called back and asked why it wasn't there. He claimed that it was still "out for delivery", and that it was very close. I said that if he had left the place an hour ago there is no reason that it sholdn't be here, and that if it was here it was definitely going to be cold. At this point I told him that 2 hours and 10 minutes was unacceptable and that he should just refund me and forget it. After saying this he made up something about the delivery driver being in front of my hotel right now, at the front door. I looked around and saw no one and called him a liar again. I reiterated that I wanted to cancel, he keep saying that the food was here and I should go check. I kept saying he wasn't. At this point I told him sorry please cancel this it is unacceptable and we hung up. I was now hungry and everything around me was closed, so I walked to a subway. I got back to my room and recieved a call from teh front desk at 9:30 saying that a delivery man from Mikie's was here ( this ia a half hour later then my last call, so much for being in front of my place at 9 and leaving to deliver at 8). I told her I had canceled my order. They went back and never refunded my money, I had to dispute with the Credit Card company For the record, thats 2 hours and 40 minutes for a delivery. That is by far the most rediculous experience I have EVER had and will never ever even dream of ordering from this place again. I can understand long times (not this long), but the lies.... When you add to the painfully long delivery time the fact that I was repeatedly lied to over the phone, this place should be avoided, especially with the other good options available in the area.

Good pizza, reasonably priced. Haven't had the wings or calzones because we keep coming back for the pizza! The delivery is fast and they always get our order right. It's a great place to have right around the corner, and probably one of the best slices of pizza in Federal Hill/Riverside. Not a sit-down place -- take-out and delivery only.

I've ordered from Mikie's before and was okay with the food. I ordered on a Sunday evening at 6:20pm. The food arrived cold and soggy at 8:10. I was informed by the restaurant and driver that they just get really busy after Ravens games. I'm not sure how it takes almost 2 hours to deliver cheese fries, popcorn chicken, a sub, and a salad though. Despite it's close location to my house, I'll pass on ordering from them again.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
