First time checking the place. Went on a Friday night. Super friendly and fast service. Both bartenders were really welcoming. I love craft beer. They had a pretty good selection on draft and a huge bottle selection. We had the Thai Monkey wings. Very meaty. Great flavor with a little spicy kick. We'll definitely go back!

This was the starting point for a birthday bar crawl (pub golf) to be specific for my fiance's friend's birthday a few weeks back. Dennis took great care of the whole bar and though it's small, there were several people in there and I think he was the only one definitely the only bartender on a Saturday afternoon. There are a lot of beers on tap and bottle available, including some local brews I hadn't tried. They have a sweet modern Jukebox and a few tables in addition to the maybe 15 seat bar. I don't typically go out in Canton anymore but this place is just off the Square area and a friendly neighborhood watering hole. When we arrived they had a happy hour where three 10 oz pints for $ 6-can't beat it!

I'm not sure that you come to Mahaffey's for the food. It is something else entirely. My boyfriend and his friends are regulars, and I have gotten to know Mahaffeys as more an institution for those who enjoy good beers in low-key environments. There is absolutely no pretention in Mahaffeys, and we go there often enough that I recognize neighborhood regulars all the time. It's a beer lover's bar, a place to come for their great happy hours, pint nights (where you can take home a pint glass from chosen brewery if you order a beer from that brewery), and to get closer to having your name on a plaque on the wall (after drinking 100 types of beer). It's a sports haven, a place where the owners recognize customer birthdays on their daily printed beer menus, and a bar where you can go for $2 tacos on Tuesday and $.50 wings on Wednesday. I don't think anything on the menu says "gourmet," but it's bar food and it's tasty. I might not have become a regular at Mahaffeys on my own, but I would say that now that I go with regulars, I understand its allure. There are not many (if any) bars that make the same effort to welcome everyone, and certainly, if you like good craft beer for cheap prices, you really can't beat their ever-evolving selection. Mahaffey's doesn't have the flip cup parties, or the trivia nights, or the meat market vibe that many Canton bars have. That, alone, should probably make you a regular, too.

This review is only for the bar. Came just in time for HH, sat at the bar, and didn't order any food (but I could smell and hear the fryer at the side of the bar). I LOVE their HH special: $6 for a threefur (3 10oz beers from their draft list) They have a solid list. It's not quite as extensive as other spots, but not complaining for the price. Also, it seemed like they had a great bottle list as well. The place was crowded, but my friend was able to snag a spot at the bar. It's loud, as a neighborhood bar should be, but never to the point where we weren't able to hear each other.

There are few places tht hook me on the first visit. Mahaffey's is one of those places! Came here for a beer with my boyfriend one night a few months ago, and Alice immediately made us feel like regulars. After taking advantage of the awesome Happy Hour Trio special, she explained the Beer Club to us and we never looked back. There are daily food specials and the menu is well executed American Pub Food, including some of the best Fried Pickles I've ever had. Finally, made it to a Tuesday Steak Night (1st Tues of the month) and was blown away: Huge portion, expertly cooked, and includes a salad. The delicious, discerning, and constantly rotating draft list is not to be missed: 19 draft lines, 1 nitro line, and a cask selection! Get In Here!!

We dont get to Canton often, but had heard great things about this spot so made it a point to get down there. We had heard it was very much a locals hangout, and it definitely had that feel when we got there. Very small place downstairs, but not cramped. Expected to get a bit of a cold shoulder because we weren't regulars but it was just the opposite. Patrons were nice, and the owners/bartenders were amazing!! Amazing beer selection and you cannot beat their happy hour. Anywhere! We only ate appetizers but they were vey good. Went a few more times and thanks to the wonder of social media I ended up on the running team that they sponsored at the Baltimore Sole Of The City run. They opened up post race for us to drink and had some killer pancakes and bacon for the whole team!! Great place run by even better people.

I went here on Taco Tuesday and it was pretty good. You can't go wrong with $2 tacos (beef or chicken). The only complaint I would have is that the lettuce, tomatoes, jalapenos, etc. run out pretty quickly (they have a taco bar) and is slow to refill. Their rosemary garlic fries are great as well, as are their variety of hot wings. Mahaffey's is a great place to chill with friends and enjoy their many happy hour specials. There are also different food specials on each day of the week. For example, the first Tuesday of each month is a steak night.

Mahaffey's is the "cheers" of Baltimore - I'm convinced. Walk in, the owners are a great couple who will always get to know their crowd. The night I went was customer appreciation for their crowd, they brought in homemade cookies and the woman owner offered me some! I felt so welcomed! They have a cool beer club where if you try X amount of beers you get a plaque on the wall. Eternal glory in a bar? Count me in! Although they keep a shorter list of variety, the taps are ALWAYS changing giving great variety. I was worried I wouldn't be able to find a lager and sure enough I did (and a stout I really liked!). If you're looking for some good locals to tell you crazy stories and a great atmosphere, stop by. Be open to making new friends because that's what makes this place so great
(4)Cherisse O.
Cheers, for sure! Favorite place to grab a drink and feel right at home. Ever-changing beer taps with an awesome selection of craft beers. Join the 100 beer club for perks, get your name printed on the menu on your birthday, hang out with your neighbors and make friends! Happy hour 3-fers are a steal. And try the Balto-buffalo wings.
(5)Mike T.
Right in the Canton neighborhood of Baltimore lies this fine bar. It is not big, but just the right size to take a few friends and perhaps make a few new ones. The serve cocktails, shots, but craft beer gets the spotlight, which is fine by me. And they seem to give particular attention to locals like Brewers Art, Clipper City, etc. No-frills pub grub is also served by the amiable staff. Wo do a great job keeping up at busy periods with the customers orders. And it really comes across as a proper neighborhood bar, where it is apparent that quite a few patrons are regulars. It is a Baltimore watering hole that I look forward to going back to.
(4)Emily T.
awesome things about Mahaffey's 1. it is on my street 2. it is off the square 3. Alice the bartender/waitress is the nicest person ever 4. the 100 beer club 5. the crazy emails you get from the owner by joining the 100 beer club 6. they have an awesome happy hr deal involving 3 "mini" glasses (yeah right they are fairly big) 7. much to my surprise the food is above average 8. all around one of my favorite bars in the area
(5)Marcel H.
Good beer selection (even one from cask and draft list includes rare beers). Food was OK, although I have had way better rosemary garlic fries... Nice atmosphere, even upstairs, where things are more quiet. Place to go in Canton.
(4)Joe K.
UPDATE: I am very pleased by my recent dining experience at Mahaffeys. Previously I had a poor experience dining, but during my recent visit I noticed they have updated their kitchen staff and it has definitely changed the food quality since my last review! Overall Mahaffey's is still one of the best bars in and around the Canton / Fells Point area. One of the best aspects of this bar is its rotating beer list - I personally have been here week over week and can testify to the amazing beer selection Wayne and his crew offer weekly. Plus the three for ~$6 deal is unbeatable in the area based on the selection alone. Another plus are the weekly dinner deals - such as their very popular Wednesday wing night ($5 for 10 wings smothered in delicious Captain Thom's sauces) or their taco tuesday's - one of the best happy hour deals in the entire city! I am happy I revisited this location as things have significantly improved and highly recommend this location to anyone in the area - 5 stars!
(5)Emily F.
Great beer selection and happy hour specials (3 10oz drafts for $6). The staff is friendly and great. It's a neighborhood place with a slightly more diverse and older crowd where everyone seems to know each other. My one complaint is they never have cider :(
(4)Jocelyn O.
Mahaffey's is a great bar. The staff is very personable which is a reason to go back all in itself. Their happy hour is one of the best around! You get 3 10oz draft beers for $6. The selection of drafts isn't even miller lites, so you're getting good quality beer for cheap prices. They even have happy hour during the weekends which is awesome. Their rosemary fries are nice to munch on while downing your 3fers. The grill is right up front so you can see them prepare your food if you're in the bar area. They also some times have specialty events they hold in the upstairs bar which are fun to attend. If you haven't already, I would definitely put this bar in your happy hour schedule!
(4)Valerio M.
simply the best pub in the Canton area. Off the square, nice atmosphere, and huge beer selection. the 3 beers for 4$ recently turned into 3 for 5$, but it s still a very good deal. And if you want to see your name in the wall of fame, simply join the 100 beer club!
(5)Mitch S.
We went in around 9:30 on a Monday night to grab some food as this place was in walking distance. We have passed it several times and it always smelled good but we had yet to venture in. We are seriously glad we did, at least for the Monday Happy Hour. You can get 3 10 OZ beers for $6 ("Real" beer too, New Belgium, Full Tilt, etc) not just the local Boh or a Miller Lite. We sat at a table and the bartender quickly came over to give us the menus. We ended up taking part in the $1 sliders and the beer special. Took a bit to get the sliders, but it does mean they were made fresh which was nice. They were around 2 OZ in size and were good, just slightly too well done for my taste (I know places often cook burgers medium well not medium). Overall a solid Monday night HH destination if you want some pub grub and beer. We'll be back.
(4)Mallory S.
Perfect for beer lovers! Huge beer selection and a beer club! This place is definitely a dive. Wearing jeans and a hoodie is almost too fancy but that's their appeal. Decent food but you're definitely going for the beer if you're going to Mahaffey's.
(4)Pat M.
Disclaimer: writing this as a bar review more so than as a restaurant. Simply put, Mahaffey's is my sort of bar! Comfortable, unpretentious, diverse clientele, and not at all stuffy or scary. A sort of place that makes me feel like I belong-- not a haven for the beautiful people, where you question your fashion sense before you've even sat down; not a dive full of shady dregs, where you're immediately mindful of the safety of your wallet; and not a veritable "locals only" club where you get looked at with that "who are YOU that dares tread upon our turf?!" sort of expression! Gotta love the grill on the left, just as you're walking in, and the smoky atmosphere that results when it gets a-crankin'! If you're someone that's offended or bothered meat-induced and laden smoke, this may not be the sort of place for you! The happy hour special of three 10-ouncers of quality brews for $5 is downright awesome, and it's clear that most who partake of it use the special as a good means for trying out different craft ales and/or microbrews. I only wish that there weren't so many exempted beer selections (denoted in bold on their lists) at times, or alternately that there was some clear surcharge of perhaps a buck more for each of the bolder brews when selected within the three-for special. The food selection is quite limited, but everything I've had to eat there has been at least average to above average and at fair to good prices. Mahaffey's scores extra points as a place that always has a cask ale on tap, which makes it a very solid 5-star selection in my book.

Good beer: Check Bar food: check daily specials: check Dive bar: Check What else can you ask for other than free drinks... but I digress! lol Mahaffeys is a solid bar, small but good beer on tap and their happy hour is 3 for $5, you get three beers(they had a you a decent list that you can choose from) for only $5... great deal!! plus as some of the other posts have said, they have daily food specials, like sliders, sandwiches, etc etc... you basically cant go wrong!! I would highly recommend a happy hour or two at Mahaffeys! Cheers Mates and bottoms up cuz you got two more beers to drink!!
(4)Matthew L.
Came here for burger night. The burgers are a good deal and they have mug drafts, 3 for $5. The place is small, but they have one unique feature, a 100 beer club. I will have to return for taco Tuesday.
(3)Katie M.
I've been wanting to try this place for a while now. I live near Wayne Mahaffey's other place, Bistro Rx, which I like well enough, so I wanted to try his other place. I like both places, but I think they're opposites. At Bistro, the menu items are unique and sometimes intriguing, but they're not always as good as I would expect. At Mahaffey's, everything was perfect, but the options are typical of a pub. So, I've become a bit of a food snob lately. I love me some fried food, but I can't stand it from most places these days. It all tastes like the same stuff that comes frozen in a big plastic bag in a big cardboard box .This place, though, is freaking delicious. We started off with some tasty beers (though, sadly, they ran out of the one I wanted just as she was pouring it). Next we had an order of the fried pickles. They were a little too salty, but otherwise the best fried pickles I've ever had. The spicy ranch served with them definitely seems like it's freshly made. AND I couldn't believe how many come on a plate. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich, which was also great, but the fries served with it were even better. I'll definitely be back to this place! Good service and good, casual atmosphere, too!
(5)Sarah Q.
I really really want to love this place, but I honestly don't get what everyone thinks is so great about it. I've now visited twice and both times I found the food to be mediocre at best. Tonight, my bf and I ordered a cheeseburger and chicken tenders to share. The burger was just ok. Dry and bland, but edible. It was on a special for $6, which is great, but it definitely wasn't worth rushing back for. The chicken tenders were awful. Over cooked, tough and dry. Like they had been reheated in the microwave, then left to cool, then served. Fries were prepared the same way. Overcooked and served at room temperature. Service was nonexistent. There were no open seats on the first floor, so we sat upstairs. No big deal. We were told that we'd have to place our orders from the bartender downstairs, which was fine too. Eventually, the server brought us our food, but we never saw him again. I ended up going behind the vacant bar to get condiments. I really wish I had better things to say, but after having the same culinary experiences both times I visited, I won't be going back. At least not for the food.

This is a small bar that is similar to other bars/restaurants in Baltimore. I went on a Wednesday for happy hour and ordered beer and food. They have a great happy hour beer special, which consists of three 10 oz beers for $5. They have a pretty good list of craft beers on tap and a lot more in bottles. This is a great place to try new and different beers. They also have a bunch of food specials throughout the week. Wednesday is $5 burger night. They also offer their chicken sandwiches for $6. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich, which was ok. The chicken was cooked well and wasn't too dry. But I was expecting it to be spicier and coated in a good buffalo sauce. Since it wasn't spicy enough, the bleu cheese topping overpowered the flavor of the chicken. Overall however, the $6 sandwich and $5 beer(s) were an awesome combination! This has become one of my new favorite happy hour places in Baltimore. One thing to mention: since it is such a small place, it can get pretty loud when at full capacity.
(4)Danielle R.
Mahaffey's is an amazing neighborhood Pub. 3 drafts for $5 till 7pm you can't beat that deal. Join the beer club, eat all the food you can try, enjoy the beers on tap, and most of all soak in the Baltimore culture. The Staff is amazing here and I've even witnessed newly weds and party leaving the upstairs bar (The wedding occurred in the bar). So many great memorable stories have develop and occurred in this Pub. The food is scrumptious especially the fried pickles (be sure to split the basket with friends). I haven't had good fried pickles anywhere else in Baltimore. This is a great spot to come for Happy Hour with coworkers or friends. It's a little crowded by the downstairs bar and tables, but there is plenty of room upstairs that most customers overlook and even forget is there.
(5)Valarie G.
This is a great neighborhood bar. It seemed to be a very young crowd and they were having a lot of fun. Mahaffey's has a great beer list and the bartender was friendly. Definitely unpretentious and quite welcoming.
(4)JC T.
As a distant relative, I've wanted to visit for years, just to say I'd been to the place. I wasn't disappointed. A great little neighborhood hangout. Very friendly staff and patrons made me feel welcome. The beers are a but high falutin' for me tastes, but enjoyable nonetheless. One more item off my bucket list!
(4)Jamie S.
Pro-Tip. Bring 2 friends for happy hour. Score 3. 10oz. drafts for $5. Each friend buy a round of what they want and you get beers handed to ya. Drafts are always on point. Staff is always awesome. Bar food is above par. Place is usually packed so get in where ya fit in. Laid back and good to go. This place has been bangin' out a good time for a little while now.
(5)Dave F.
Good beer selection, great happy hour prices. What else do you need?
(4)Matt N.
I came here after a walk out of the way from Max's with a group. I was glad to arrive and order and they had a good special 3 12oz'ers for 5 bucks except certain beers bolded on the menu. The place was crowded in the bar area so I sat in the back out of the way. I ordered food after a couple other people in the group did and the server was friendly about it. The food came quickly ... maybe too quickly. The first bite out of the southwest burger all the juice poured out onto the plate. I ordered mine medium well since you can't be sure the first time in a new place. The outside was cooked crispy and black and it was so hot I burnt my tongue, but inside was pink and seemed way underdone but warm. The beer selection is good and the people are good which is why I gave 3 out of 5, but the food was somewhat dissapointing for the reasons I mentioned above. I would return for a pint or two based on the very decent happy hour special. I really wanted to give them a '4' but couldn't justify it in my mind really.
(3)Miles B.
Best wings in canton and best deals all around. Happy hour is the best you get 3 10oz microbrews for $5 which you get to pick from a huge list that rotates every week.
(5)Peter C.
Hands down, Mahaffeys is my favorite bar in Baltimore. Speedy and friendly service, coupled with an extensive and rotating beer list are just two of the many reasons why you should visit Mahaffeys this week and also every week after.
(5)Phil B.
Any happy hour that offers 3 Drafts for 5 bucks and craft beer selections like Sierra Nevada, Dogfish Head Chicory stout and Yards IPA - enough said! The bar actually peers into their kitchen - this is not a huge place. If like me, you may be partial to this focus on function however and enjoy this place for what it is - great beer selection, happy hour, and friendly service. Plus the fried pickles, I must add were stellar: cut thickly and just right.
(4)Jenn M.
Who doesn't love Mahaffey's?!? For beer lovers, its a must - and even for us non-beer lovers, the service and atmosphere doesn't get much better. Great happy hour specials - and surprisingly good food - by far my favorite bar in Baltimore :)
(5)Daniel J.
Great GREAT beer selection! Great staff (Dennis & Alice)! 3 for $5 Monday is second to none in Baltimore.
(5)JJ M.
When I die and go to heaven, it might be a lot like Mahaffey's. Or maybe I won't wait, and just go back soon. Stellar beer selection. Top notch wings. Killer jukebox. Yup, my kind of joint. Try the Brooklyn Brown Ale. I flew in on Wing Nite, tried a three-fer, and then another one. Perfect jump off point to Canton's trendier establishments. We made a couple of stops that night, and Mahaffey's was the best!
(5)Abigail O.
3 beers for 5 bones? whaaaattt??? how do they do it? no, seriously. how do they do it? i'm no finance wizard. well, i am, but i can't show you my wand. i guess enough people are drawn in by this killer deal to stay and drink forrealsies the rest of the time. pretty awesome. but everyone already knows about this. beer selection is great. i wouldn't say it was my favorite, but since their taps rotate almost daily, i can't really complain. i'm sure i can walk in tomorrow or next week to my personal favorite combination of taps. gave a cursory glance to their bottle selection and had a flemish red to cap off the ravens' win last monday night, after sucking down 12 halves of beer (my friend and i capitalized on the deal and each had two threefurs. and i made him share so i could try them all.). we'd just eaten when we got there so didn't try anything from the regular menu, but after almost falling down and seizing from the ravens giving up their 21-point lead in the 4th quarter (i love them, but who does that?!) we had to sample one each of the lamb and bison sliders. pretty decent, except the lamb was coated in something sweet. 6-beers-deep me was loath to make an unbiased final judgment, but i still know what i like, and a spiced ground lamb patty with a touch of garlic and rosemary would have suited me better. bison was good, standard grilled patty with onions. atmosphere was very pleasant. rife with ravens fans (woohoo!), very friendly, capable, and knowledgeable staff. sat at the rail for the first bit of the game until some people left and we were able to move to a table. i'm kind of over the hodge-podge, license plates 'n' beer bottles decor so prevalent in this type of neighborhood establishment, but it wasn't abhorrent or distracting, and the ambiance still had that elusive je ne sais quoi, likely due to the excellent staff, outstanding brews, and camaraderie among football fans. verdict? i'll certainly be back. and i definitely want in on that club.
(4)Robert P.
You know, as much as I like the beer selection at this bar I feel like you have to be a regular here to get any real value out of it and to feel fully comfortable. Usually when I go here the bar is packed and service is slow. Food is average bar food, nothing great but not bad either. The best thing about this place is the 3 for $5 beer sampler during happy hour every day... it's the only reason I come here.
(3)Alex S.
Snowed in and stir-crazy, I decided to check out Mahaffey's for the Super Bowl. Awesome beer selection and good food. Both customers and bartenders were all friendly. I didn't know anyone when I went in and had a good time. I've been back a couple of times and would recommend the burgers or the wings. The beers change regularly so ask for a printed list if you're overwhelmed.
(5)Jane P.
One of my favorite places in the world. I live in DC but come up here almost every week to see what taps they have up. Amazingly varied selection of draft beers at fantastic prices and great atmosphere - last time I was there, I sat next to two old ladies drinking 3-for-4s. Everyone's in a good mood, and with a ridiculous selection like theirs, why wouldn't they be?! I can't really stress enough how much I appreciate this place existing. Caring enough to rotate your taps every week in order to let people get to try things like the Brooklyn Cuvee de Cardoz the week it comes out? Thank you Mahaffey's!
(5)Dave S.
The only bar in Baltimore that can compete with Max's in terms of quality, rarity, and selection of beer. Oh, and 3 beers for $4 happy hours every day and all day on Mondays.
(5)Gomer K.
I don't want to say anything nice about this place because I want this place all to myself. We got there around 4 and the bar (my favorite place to sit) was already full. The beer selection was pretty good and there was a few I haven't seen before. I would suggest the Pollinator! Thankfully we saw an order of chips and queso go out. I usually stay away from chips and queso unless I'm at a Mexican restaurant but they looked too good to pass up. They were out of queso so we got the crab dip. The "chips" are actually fried pita and it was one of the best crab dips I've ever had. We also split the crab cake sliders and they were great as well. They were lightly fried and had cornmeal on them. Yum. Instead of tartar we asked for the jalapeno ranch which was pretty spicy. We were there for happy hour that had 3 beers for $5. Pretty great!
(4)Tim B.
This is my all-around favorite bar in Baltimore. The 3-fer beer deal (4-7 every day, all night Monday, game-day Sundays) is unrivaled, the rotating beer selection can't be beat, and the service is awesome. Alice is a PRO!
(5)Laura B.
The beer selection and happy hour, already mentioned, is what got me in the door. It's really worth the trip all by itself. But, the food is really, really good. The last time I visited I had a Thai curry scallop special that was really to die for. Fresh and delicious and cooked on a little tiny grill behind the bar and a closet in the back. I don't know how they do it and I don't care! This hole in the wall is one of the best in Baltimore, hands down!
(5)Jonathan D.
Let's be clear. This is primarily a beer bar. But it's a good one. Sat at the bar on a crowded (and loud) night with a buddy. Very impressive beer menu. The happy hour Score 3 (three 10oz beers for $5) is a great way to try different beers. Note that they come all at once though, so bring a couple of friends. (This might only be on Thursdays when we were there.) There was also a burger special (also $5?) and I must say, the burgers were excellent. (Not always the case at other bars.) Staff is very friendly, and it's one of those places that tries to get you to become "a regular" with their "100 beer club" and other events. I'll definitely be going back.
(4)Joseph K.
Go here if you want to try a bunch of different beers for a cheap price. Their 3 for 5$ beers during happy hour with a great selection (probably well over 50+ beers that change every week or so) is awesome. Other than that..it's a decent environment with a couple flat screens, nice and cozy place to chill with friends, pretty standard/decent bar food. The crowd is usually around their late 20s, mid 30s. Happy hour prices for food is but very standard.. cheap 1$/2$ sliders(depending on the meat) slider bun, meat, cheese, pickle. I'd expect at least some chopped lettuce/onions/tomato or something ...but I guess when you're a little buzzed you just need something to soak up that alc But like I said, go here to try a bunch of beers and chill with friends. The area is nice, street parking is good, the people are nice.
(4)Cherpumple F.
Great beer selection, fantastic daily specials, and fried pickles. Threefurs on Mondays. Lots of locals, college kids, young professionals, but above all, great beer.
(3)Robby B.
A great neighborhood bar and one of the best happy hours in Baltimore. Happy Hour runs till 7pm, except on Monday when it's ALL NIGHT. But this isn't your average happy hour. For 5 bucks, you get a threefur- three 10 oz mugs of any draft beer excluding a few of the pricier beers. Mahaffey's focuses on craft beers and has about 15 constantly changing taps. (They also have a respectable bottle list, maybe 75 bottles, but these don't count for happy hour.) So basically you're getting ~ 2 pints spread across 3 different beers for 5 bucks! And the beers are great. Options range from fruity wheat beers to heavy stouts to fun unclassifiable brews that contain chile or cocoa. They have nightly deals on pub grub too! These go until 10pm. I almost always go on Mondays to take advantage of happy hour all night. Monday has slider deals ($1 for beef or chicken and $2 for buffalo or lamb). They are nothing special, but slap a little A-1 or mustard on them and they will accompany your beers quite nicely. Thursday is 50 cent wing night, but they are just fine. I know another night is steak night, but I have yet to check that out. Come here with a small crowd for happy hour. It won't be hard to find a table even in their small space. Try a bunch of beers you've never heard of. If you need it, ask the wait staff for help. They'll help you pick something and are amazingly good at knowing exactly which beer is which when they bring out literally 10 unique beers to a table. This is a great place to chill with friends. Unpretentious, but not divey. Bustling, but not too loud to have a good convo. But it's only decent for watching a game. They have flat screens, but they are relatively small and don't have HD service so the picture looks like crap (a pet peeve of mine). Still, they let us change the channel from Sports Center to tennis a few months back, which earns them major points in my book! Do yourself a favor and check out this local joint!

Great beer selection. Great pub grub - I reccommend the pesto chicken sandwich. Always decent prices or some kind of special going on. Best corner bar in Canton.

This bar gets 4 stars because the food, while good, is still standard bar food- it does come out really hot though which is nice. The beer however is 5 stars. I've been here plenty- it's just taken me a while to review the place. I think they easily have over 100 beers there at any given time. All of the selected beers are delicious and interesting- no Coors/Miller/Bud selections on tap here. If you like beer, this is the place to go. The crowd is older (like, my age) at about 35+. One can become a member of the beer club- you get a club # and they actually track what you've had so you can more easily reach the 100 mark and get your name on a plaque. When you enter in your club #, they'll show you your list as well as providing a link "Show me the beers in stock I haven't had". I like this, especially after a few and you aren't that coherent HH specials always include a variety of great and unusual beers 3 for $5 (I think that is what it is now). The beer menu is organized nicely so you can search for bottle, draft, or cask as well as what type/ regional beer you like best. The beer club and menu is really well done.
