The pizza is great, love the crust. Service was average to below-average. Our waitress would walk away from our table before we could complete our order! Hopefully that was a one-time experience as the food is actually pretty good.

I really enjoy this place! It was a last minute decision to pop in for a late lunch on a Saturday. I ordered a small pizza and my husband ordered the chicken parm. Our waitress seemed nice although after ordering and receiving our food we really didnt see much of her. Refills were hard to come by... The pizza was delicious, I really enjoyed the sauce. My husband liked my pizza as well but didnt enjoy the sauce as much with his chicken parm, he thought it was a bit sweet. Not a total bust for him, he loved the garlic bread and ate his whole meal. A great spot, we would definitely go back. I would just hope to have a better waitress next time.

Solid American-Italian food! Italian Wedding Soup- Not bad, although adding carrots I think waters it down but adding a healthy dose of parmesan cheese gives a little salty goodness, plus the meatballs in the soup were plenty flavorful! Three Cheese Ravioli w/ Bolognese sauce- yum! the sauce was a little thick but pretty tasty! The 14" Pizza my Uncle ordered looked and was proclaimed delicious! I'll have to go back to try one of the pizzas! Our waitress was very patient with our indecisiveness and was amazingly attentive about refilling drinks and bringing our food out piping hot!

I love the meat lovers pizza. They make a good mango iced tea as well. We have only done carry out but I think we might try to eat in one day. They are very crowded this Saturday evening.

If it weren't for the teenagers or undisciplined workers, the quality of their pizza might be consistent and would be worth the higher asking price. Alot of times, their pizza's will be undercooked (cheese texture) or overcooked (krispy crust). When cooked right, this is one of the best pizza's in the Rosedale and White Marsh area. Some of their pizza toppings, leaves an obscene after taste even into the next morning. Their sausage is great. Their super thin crust makes their pizza, a bit overpriced.

The owner is often on site and is happy to hear your thoughts. I like that. The pizza and other offerings are consistent and the wait staff has always been timely with drinks etc. You can do much worse than this place. If you're hungry - give them a shot.

I suppose I shouldn't have expected too much. When I walked in, I immediately realized I might have made a mistake. Inside are your traditional red booths, with chain restaurant type menus. However, I did see some interesting items on the menu, including a prosciutto and goat cheese pizza. Unfortunately, what arrived was a sorry excuse for a pizza. The crust was soft, and the ingredients weren't allowed to sing. Do you know what happens to prosciutto when it's cooked? It tastes like bacon. The pizza would have been far tastier with fresh prosciutto sprinkled on top. If i were from the area, I probably wouldn't go back. Thankfully, I'm far, far away.

I ordered a salad with grilled chicken. When I got it home the lettuce was not only sticking out of the container, but it was also gritty. It had one little tomatoe in it that was the end of the tomatoe and had a brown spot on it. And last but not least there was no grilled chicken. I took the salad back and told the girl and also asked her if she could fix it up a little bit. I get salad with grilled chicken all the time from different places and I've never seen One like that. So the girl did doctor up the salad and while I was waiting for my grilled chicken to be finished, I was watching the cooks in the back. There was about 10 of them. Not one of them had gloves on, hats or nothing. They were passing food around to each other with their bare hands like they were playing some kind of game. When the chicken came out I told the girl I wanted my money back. I didn't like all those people putting their bare hands all over my food. So she got the manager. He asked me why I didn't want the salad, he said there is nothing wrong with it. I said I stood here and watched you cooks put there bare hands over all your customers food. I said why don't they have gloves on. He replied that gloves are not required in Baltimore, County. I guess Baltimore, County germs are different from Baltimore City. I guess spoons or tongs or forks are not neccesary in Baltimore, County either. If they are going to operate their business like that they should at least close up that big window so no one can see what they do. GROSSED OUT IN WHITE MARSH?

The staff were friendly and the seating was somewhat comfortable. However the food was not that great. The was my first and last visit to Ledo's. I tried some of the pizza and it was not well seasoned and the dough was tough. No one at my table was overwhelmed with there entrée either.(I tried some and I agree with them.) It is far from real Italian cooking and the ingredients are not good quality. I know there is much better options around.

Even though I'm not in love with their pizza/pasta sauce (too sweet), I'm in love with their service and value... hence the 4 out of 5 stars. We got their largest pizza to split between our family of 4, and had over half left. While I don't care for the pizza due to the sauce, the 3 others with me did. Our server Ben was beyond attentive (and no I don't know him personally) and patient with our some times frustrating children. I also absentmindedly forgot my purse loaded with gift cards as we were headed to the mall, but a bus boy came running out full speed with it. The only tip I can give is that it's seat yourself and was crowded (but service and food turn around were quick). I will come back and get a salad or soup while my kids eat pizza. :)

This place is great for family. Foods decent, not pricey. The waiters are friendly. I prefer their salads and sandwiches for lunch and my husband loves their pizza. I LOVE their red sangria very very refreshing and half price during the week from 3-7pm can't beat that!

I was less than encouraged by the presence of "fried ravioli" on the appetizer menu, but it turned out to be the best item I tried: it tasted like someone had covered crappy ravioli in breadcrumbs and deep fried the lot of it. I ordered a personal, white, chicken pizza of some kind. The crust was thin a la Italy but the dough was poor quality and was cooked in what must have been a pool of vegetable oil if the puddle on my plate was any indication. The toppings were flavored like a decent frozen dinner but as starving as I was I stopped after forcing half the pizza down as I began to feel nauseated by the oil and over-processed chicken. Not that I blame her for the choice, but the waitress was literally stoned. It was lunch on a Friday. I'm not going back.

Apparently I'm not a true resident of Baltimore as this is my first experience with Ledo pizza. Also, it seems that I haven't missed too much in the process. We split a hot italian sub (the dressing was ok, but we both agreed that it could use a little more meat) and a pizza. We found the crust to be thin but doughy and didn't stand up to the reheat test. With all the selections in the area, I don't think I'll be returning.

Best happy hour around! Food is consistent. Wait staff has almost always been great (with the exception of one time where our bartender was crying the whole night). I'd love bigger tvs for the game. Good for families but also good if you just want some good food and the bar. Don't recommend the sangria though! It's not true sangria and they throw it together as needed rather than letting it sit to combine favors.

This place seems to get some rave reviews, and I just can't see why. My order was simple...cheese pizza and an antipasto salad. The crust on the pizza tasted like a frozen pizza...and looked like it wasn't fresh. Sauce and cheese were decent, but a bad crust can ruin a whole pie. The salad was sad...limpy lettuce and barely any meat or cheese. On the plus side, the staff were pleasant and my food came out in a timely matter. However, I was really disappointed with the overall food and will not be returning or recommending.

Eh... I'd give this place somewhere between 3 and 3.5 stars. Let me start by saying I was born in NY and have remained in that area all my life so I am v. picky when it comes to certain foods, e.g. bagels, cheesecake, and especially pizza (just to name a few). I like my pizza crust to be just that - crusty - with a nice, chewy center, the sauce to be sweet and smooth, and the cheese to be generous but doesn't dominate the dish. That being said, let me get to my review. I've been in Baltimore for a little less than a year for work and haven't had pizza until I recently went to Ledo Pizza. I'd been reluctant to get pizza because knowing how atrocious the bagels are around here, honestly, I was scared and not in the mood to waste my money on bad food. However, my companion suggested we have a Glee & pizza night (don't judge us). I browsed the reviews for Ledo (the best rated of the pizza places nearby) and read about the pastry-like crust and was immediately turned off but we went for it anyway. We ordered the Italian white pizza and a dozen wings with buffalo sauce and chile lime sauce. The wings were simply fried and they gave us the sauce on the side. I actually really appreciated that because it meant that the wings weren't soggy by the time we got back to the apartment. They were still crisp and we were able to add as much sauce as we wanted, so 4 stars for that. I'm deducting 1 star because the sauces weren't all that delicious. The pizza was as I suspected, a disappointment. The crust seemed buttery and it was really crumbly - like Shawn C. said, it was like a pie crust. And normally, when I get square pizza, it's a Sicilian pizza which has a nice thick crust so this was quite a turnaround. The toppings were okay, but it was too salty for me; I think they used way too much of the sharp cheeses (parmesan and asiago). The taste actually reminded me of Domino's cheesy bread, and I was expecting something a little more gourmet, from the description. It was tolerable though and I did manage to finish a few slices. Though the pizza wasn't up to my standards, it was affordable. We got a ton of food (enough leftovers for two more meals) for a decent price. And the service was friendly - both on the phone and in the store - and it was fast. Our order was ready when they said it would be and the girl working the cashier was able to check me out in a jiffy. I did appreciate the fact that she opened up the pizza box to show me the pizza and asked me, "Does this look okay?" It's a nice touch to ask you to inspect your own pizza, that way you don't waste your time if your order ends up being wrong and it saves the pizza place some trouble as well. To summarize, I didn't love it but I didn't hate it either.

It was somewhat busy when I arrived and waited 10 min at the 'Please wait to be seated' sign. There were booths and seats at the bar available that I could see from the while I waited. I was not greeted or acknowledged by any staff member during that time, even though staff couldn't pass without me having to move out the way. After I entered the seating area and flagged down the manager or guy in the white long sleeve shirt I was informed I was to wait to the seated and all the other staff said he was the one that did the seating. Talk about getting the run around. After confusion I just left. I have no issue waiting but SHEESH.... where's the customer service. You get a star b/c it's Ledo's and the pizza's great but this location isn't.

  • Sarah G.

They have a decent gluten free pizza, though it is not recommended for those with celiac disease. Ledo's is a good place to bring kids. I've been here four times and I've always had friendly service. This place has typical kids meals that you know came frozen in a box. I give it four stars for convenience and having a GF pizza that works for someone that has a mild wheat allergy like me.

Food is so-so and service sucks. First of all, how many pizza places don't deliver? Oh wait, they deliver on orders of $75 or more (catering). Really? Secondly, knowing that they are located in a business area and people are in a time crunch for lunch, you'd think they'd be fairly speedy. Well, you guessed wrong. I got a free lunch today because they took so long that I ended up needing to just get it boxed and go. And the waitress offered me "a coupon for next time" originally (before comping the meal) I told her to save her coupon cause there will be no next time!

Nothing short of any of the other Ledos in The DMV. Had the deluxe pizza, awesome sauce, sweet from the basil, low acid so it's not intolerable and overpowering, all ingredients are REAL, bacon, sausage, thick cut pepperoni, beat freakin pizza- sucked it down like Dyson! Also got the buffalo calzone, buffalo sauce was moderate enough to taste everything and still maintain the buffalo sauciness.. Crust is ALWAYS the best!

  • Michael N.

Decent food, always busy. I wish the food was better. It seems like their "specialty" items aren't really all that special. I've tried the chicken and broccoli Alfredo, wings, sandwiches, pizza and most recently their cheesesteak. I've never walked away impressed with the taste, portion or quality. Most items were extremely greasy. I'd eat here, but don't expect more then an average meal. At times the crowd seems a little antsy or impatient.

Ledo's is almost like a family tradition to me. My Mom ate it when she was in college and now there's a location where I live and now I'm eating it during my college years too. This is a pizza that is a totally different entity. Its not like pizza hut, dominoes or any fast delivery pizza. There is love put into this. A thin crispy crust, and a sauce which is the best I've ever tasted. The servings are huge! A medium takes up an entire tray the size of a food court tray. Get a large and it will equal to two trays, cheaper for two people and more than enough per person. You will have leftovers. This is much different ambiance wise from my mom's ledos. It has a very large dining area with a few high and low seated booths as well as a bar and larger menu. But don't come for the other food ledos staple is pizza! My only complaint is the inconsistent service, sometimes you get a fantastic waiter who you don't even need to ask for, other times you are invisible. I don't see that as a problem with the establishment though, just the person you are dealing with. I like to refer to ledos as the upper class pizza, its a step above the rest. There is no delivery, it's dine in or take home. The deserts are fancy, yet delicious as well. You'll love it here.

I work in White Marsh and I like to eat in the area on my lunch hour. My boyfriend met me at Ledo's and we decided to eat outside since it was such a nice day. The restaurant is less than five minutes away from my work so we had a little less than an hour to enjoy lunch. I chose the sub, fries, and drink meal for $7.99 and my boyfriend had the half salad and half small pizza deal. We waited awhile until our food finally came. The sub was good, but there weren't very many fries to go with it. The fries were also pretty thin, kind of like straw fries. Our waitress came out once for refills, but we never saw her again. Since I didn't have long for lunch we were getting a little impatient because our waitress never brought us the check. Finally, my boyfriend went to the register and asked for the check and paid for our meal. The food is decent and the prices are pretty reasonable, but if you're looking for quick service you should go somewhere else. There are plenty of other restaurants in the area that can serve lunch at a faster pace.

As transplants from Chicago we have searched all over Baltimore for thin crust pizza. Ledos is absolutely the best in town. Sauce is nice and sweet crust is pastry like. This location is warm and cozy with a great bar and TVs tuned to sports and news programs.

3.5***/* I came here with an associate for lunch. We had not been here before and decided to take a test drive. Sports bar, family style atmosphere. Lots of booths that seat four. Service was a little slow, but our sweet blonde server won us over with her personality and charm. We both ordered small salads with their speciality house dressing. It was strong and took over the salad. We each had an individual pizza. Their pizza is square, interesting concept! The pizza crust was very good and I loved the sauce. Very acceptable pizza particularly if you like thin crust. I am sure they have thick crust but I did not check. Not the place for a fast lunch but a good price/value. Lunch with salad, pizza and water with tip ran $12.

It's fine. The pizza is tasty enough - reminds me of Donato's in Ohio with the small slices and thinner crust. The toppings list contained no surprises. I'd only come back for takeout, though. While waiting for my pizza ("it'll be 20 minutes," so I people-watched for a good 35), I took in the ambiance (offers all a strip-mall chain family restaurant can), waitresses (seemed completely stressed), cashier (bored-looking girl who contributed nothing other than organizing the straws for 30 minutes), and menu (would probably order nothing other than pizza). So yes, my pizza was good. But this isn't the kind of place I would ever enthusiastically suggest as a go-to, unless I was starving, in White Marsh, and craving some chain restaurant pizza.

I'm really not a fan of the whole pizza-cracker concept. Their crust is just oddly thin. If a pizza is a pie then it should be like one, or if its thin, at least hold true to the Neopolitan tradition or a tradition that is more reasonable. Ledo pizza does neither of these things. Its conceptually like a Roman style pizza in that's its square cut, yet it doesn't taste like Old World style pizza and has a somewhat odd American taste since its so sweet and salty at the same time...I really don't know how to put it but let me just say I've had pizza in Naples, Rome, Chicago and NY style along the east coast and conceptually I just don't get Ledo pizza. Like I said, Its both salty and sweet in taste which are taste sensations some people crave but quite honestly I can't stand this and do not like having to drink gallons of water afterwards after consuming their pizza. go so far to say that sauce is sickeningly sweet...I don't get this...are they adding a lot of carrot or cinnamon to their sauce? God I HOPE its not sugar. Oh did I mention the crust is like cardboard? They're buffalo chicken style pizza is interesting to say the least and I oddly enough do enjoy at times but it takes Niagara Falls to quench my thirst later after eating it. Lot of squarely American innovations are added to their pizza like this and it really just comes off as annoying. When will the world stop F-ING with Italian cuisine and realize that its strength lies in simplicity and quality of ingredients? So stop making crap pizza world and just be cool and not butcher culinary traditions.

One of the most unique pizzas in the area. And the pizzas are prepared and presented impeccably . The service is good and the drink selection is sufficient. Thus is not your typical ny pizzeria...it's a true Maryland creation.

As transplants from Chicago we have searched all over Baltimore for thin crust pizza. Ledos is absolutely the best in town. Sauce is nice and sweet crust is pastry like. This location is warm and cozy with a great bar and TVs tuned to sports and news programs.

This Place is very consistent. They have great pizza, wings and even good salads. The manager always stops by the table when my sister and I are dining here. They also make an awesome sangria!

The food was terrible. It certainly seemed to have a local following, but honestly you can get better pizza in a lunchable. The crust tastes like the stuff you buy in a bag and mix yourself. As for the rest of the pizza, I got canned pesto, microwaved bacon and some questionable tomato slices. The service was actually very good and they did have a couple of local beers, bit not the better ones. I will be actively avoiding this place in the future

Ledo's is a great value. My wife and I are fans of the unending soup, salad, and breadsticks, but their sandwiches and thin-crust pizzas are good too. They have a full bar, and the service is usually pretty good. It is hard to spend a lot of money here unless you are doing some heavy drinking outside of happy hour.

Known for its unique pizza (rectangular, with a thin, flaky pastry crust) and generous toppings (all measured by weight so you get plenty), Ledo is apparently a Maryland business that found success and expanded. For retail pizza, it's very good, and much less greasy than competitors. I've had their pizza a couple times before, but the customer service at this location was shockingly good. Upon making a recent pick-up order for a pizza split into thirds (which is a lot easier on a rectangular canvas), we found it had been entered as a half and a quarter, with incompatible toppings overlapping. Management apologized profusely, and asked that we hang on for long enough for them to make it right (if that was an acceptable solution for us). Then, not only did we get a 'Goofpon' good for another free medium pizza on a future date, but we got to keep the errant pizza (which was actually not bad). Other vendors would do well to emulate this 'do whatever is needed to make the customer happy' mentality. They've assured themselves of plenty of our repeat business (and referrals) by virtue of making what might ordinarily be a hassle into an actually pleasant experience. Kudos!

The pizza is great, love the crust. Service was average to below-average. Our waitress would walk away from our table before we could complete our order! Hopefully that was a one-time experience as the food is actually pretty good.
