Really delicious Indian food. I love the chicken tikka masala and the chickpeas. Also can't go wrong with the tandoori wings and the yummy mint sauce. My only complaint is that we have ordered delivery multiple times but the delivery drivers can never seem to find our apartment.

I just finished waiting 3 1/2 HOURS for my food. After the quoted delivery time of 1hr & 15min, I called, then I called again. Finally I got Foodler involved. I eventually got a full refund and an apology from the owner. I then got Food. After all that time I wasn't expecting much. The food was all fresh and flavorful. I may order again but alot earlier this time.

I just ordered from them using eat24. They estimated delivery of 30-45 minutes, and it has been nearly 2 hours and I still haven't received the food. I have eaten here before and the food is decent but this service is ridiculous. i have called them twice and been told that the driver will be here in 10 minutes. that was 30 minutes ago and still no food. Ok food, shitty service. not worth the money.

Friendly knowledgeable folks, they know their food. I am visiting from Oklahoma and became a regular for two days during my stay. Very tasty and fresh food. Loved it!

First time ordering from here, had the meat samaosa, chicken chow mein and chicken saag. Everything was awesome. Fast delivery too! The Spicy is spicy.. Seriously, as it should be of course.

Yum! My wife and I recently moved from downtown to Roland Park. She always liked Cafe Spice but a neighbor recommended we try this place. We ordered the tandoori wings, veg samosas, chicken tikka masala, shrimp birani, and lots of naan. Everything was delicious and the owners were super nice. Highly recommend. We'll definitely be back!

-Vegan Friendly- The food was good - I will definitely go back for more. Having said that I was extremely impressed with the guys that work here. Very nice, very knowledgeable. Nothing on the menu says "vegan" however there are several dishes they can do

It's great to have an Indian/Pakistani place here! We ordered Tandori Chicken and and a lentil dish that were delicious! I'll definitely be ordering again!

I love this place! The food is SO good. I love the Chicken Korma, and the the Channa Masala. I only order delivery Indian food from this place. It is THE best!

My husband and I ordered Tandoori Chicken Wings (6 Pc), Garlic Naan and two Lamb Saag's (Lamb Spinach). My husband loved the Tandoori Chicken and the Garlic Naan but we were both disappointed with the Lamb Saag. Their were only 4-5 pieces of lamb in the saag while 85% consisted of the spinach mixture. We also found that the Basmati Rice and Lamb Saag contained nuts and other ingredients we were not used to tasting when ordering Lamb Saag. While my husband loved the Tandoori Chicken Wings, I am not sure if we would order here again. Everything was very flavorful but we were disappointed with the Lamb Saag.

Disappointing... Grilled food like Kabobs are usually a good option if you are looking for cook to order and freshly prepared food. Not at this place. I ordered the kabob platter. There were 5 small pieces of meat on rice with one nan cut in four and a small portion of chickpeas gravy. They were all reheated in microwave. One tandoori chicken piece was half way decent. The two chicken breast kabob pieces were tough and had no taste. There was only half seekh kabob not more than 2 inches. It was also tough, chewy and without taste. The rice was stale and crusty, probably scraped from the bottom of the pot and had overwhelming scent of cloves. The nan was the only fresh item. The chick pea gravy was watery and tasted weird. I was the only person dining during the dinner hour. The host was extremely loud and I could hear him talking and laughing with the cook in Nepalese. I am never going back to this place

The tandoori wings were fantastic!!!! The wings were better than my meal. I ordered the lamb saag and it was ok. There was alot of spinach and not much lamb. The lamb was slightly over cooked. I wouldn't order the lamb saag from here again but I would definitely get the tandoori wings!!

Very average food. I asked for my food to be "spicy" on the phone and it was not at all. I order palak paneer which was ok (at least the spinach was chopped instead of being puréed). The paneer (chunks of cheese) looked like there were deep fried separately though. I also ordered Chana masala which was ver watery and no flavor. I am used to see Chana masala in a much more thicker sauce. The naan and rotti were both D I S G U S T I N G! I bet they were reheated in a microwave rather than made it fresh. They were so rubbery and tasteless that is not even funny. I will follow recommendations from other yelpers to go to the pizza place that sells INDIAN food by Sulgrave street. To top off this review.... I think the prices for the vegetarian dishes are too high and when I asked about this, the answer was: We don't have many veggie customers.

This place is unbelievable. I placed an order for deliver, and get a call shortly afterwards... Apparently they were too busy to deliver to me, and ran out of samosa's.... an Indian place ran out of samosa's... really? If you can't deliver, they you should have your site advise as such based on the address (not tell the service I ordered through that I'm out of your delivery range). Last time I ordered, the food was actually delivered, and was pretty good. Customer service is something I value highly, and this place just didn't cut it in my latest interaction.

This place has continued to amaze me.... I am amazed how wrong my first review was....or moreso the number of stars. I'll stand by that review but ***only*** for the paneer tiki wrap, that is still great! Since then I"ve had a few other dishes and they have sucked. Undercooked potatoes and veggies. The way the take out containers have printed lables makes me think these are pre-packed and frozen. I don't know for sure yet though. Lacking some serious flavor, the veggie samosa I was a fan of...go figure. Do yourself a favor and walk over to Mt. Washington Pizza & Subs, by far much better Indian food there!

Was excited to try Kabab Stop. I decided to try some take-out after shopping at Whole Foods. Sad to say I was really disappointed and I won't be going back. I got all veggie stuff which should have been easy to prepare. I ordered Bhindi Do Piyaza, Chana Masala, Vegetable Biryani, and vegetable samosas. The flavor of the Bhindi Do Piyaza was fine but the okra they used wasn't good. Many of the pieces were hard. The Chana Masala was watery. Not the heartier curry I am accustomed to. The Vegetable Biryani was really spicy and the only vegetable included were carrots and potatoes. Their menu clearly states it's supposed to include nuts and raisins which it did not. Plus all of the rice I received seemed old and not fresh. So I ended up throwing all of the rice away, with the samosas. It's too bad. I was really hoping to like this place. Sorry to say I wouldn't recommend this place.

Guy taking delivery order was curt and impolite, then the delivery took 1hr 30mins+.... When I called to ask what the issue was he told me I was out of his delivery range and he was doing me a favor giving me service. Oh yea, and they got our order wrong as well.

The atmosphere is dark and dingy, honestly smelled 'damp' like urine and there were no customers. Now for most people that would be enough for you to turn around and head for the door. However, I was determined and hungry, two powerful combinations. I explained to the server that it was my first time there and I asked him several questions about the menu. Surprisingly, he was rude. Food: chickpeas and some chicken curry entree, to go. Food was tasty, kind of greasy, filled me up did the trick. However, I won't be back. I would like to find somewhere else. Hope this is helpful.

Very friendly. Great customer service. Small but good. Kababs were not as spicy as i like but moist and tasty. Naan were very good. Chicken tikka and Malai chicken was awesome. They also have free delivery!

If possible, I would rate Kabob stop with negative stars. About 2 years ago their food used to be ok, but it is now bland and soggy. There are so many better Indian food restaurants in Baltimore. Do not waste your money here. The worst part is their horrible customer service. They are blatantly rude to customers and will argue with them. They refused to honor a Groupon I purchased. If they did this to you, call Groupon and get you money back! Avoid Kabob Stop at all costs!

Pretty mediocre food. Not very flavorful at all. I had the chicken tikka and mango lassi. Both were...ehh...ok.

I have never actually dined in, but ordered take-away or delivery many times. The food is definitely better than average, but they are ALWAYS late with their delivery. When I say late, I don't mean late by 10 minutes. I mean 30 - 60 minutes late.

I love this place! During this past summer, I could not stop thinking about falafel sandwiches. In most larger cities, they seem easy to come by, but it's been a challenge for me to find a great falafel sandwich that is conveniently close to my work or home. One day, I noticed the Kabob Stop. I went in, hoping to find falafel. I talked with the owner, who explained the restaurant is Indian, and does not serve falafel. He recommended I try the paneer wrap as a substitute. Well, I fell in love with that darned sandwich, which is stuffed with grilled paneer (the cheese that is often served warm with spinach), and crispy fresh chopped veggies. I have gone back several times for a paneer wrap to go and each experience has been good. I have also eaten inside the restaurant twice. I ordered the paneer wrap and the fish tikka, which is made with salmon for two. This is more than enough food to share. My only wish is that they would get the climate control right. It always seems to be a bit too cold, but the staff are welcome to adjust the temperature if you make the request.

Worst tasting Indian food in the area. We have given this 3 tries now, only because it is right on the way home and we love Indian food...but we have lost hope for this restaurant...never again. Not once have we had a good dish. - everything was bland...bland bland. Underspiced. An Indian cook afraid of spice?? - some things are poorly cooked, under cooked or reheated. - Slimy oily reheated samosas. - chana masala with barely cooked tomatoes and no spice...I swear - NO SPICE. no layers of flavor. horrible. - Tiikas and kormas with no heat and watery sauces. The chicken texture was good tho. - a cook that does not understand dipping sauces...really the simple mint/cilantro sauce that is STANDARD for samosas (and right out of a jar with a little yogurt) this chef had never heard of. There was an inedible green watery sauce that reeked of moldy mint. How does that happen? The only thing good was the nan bread. short take : low quality food that lacks flavor

Awesome Paneer Tikka Wrap...Very good for take out. The Indian food as such is alright....There are other better restaurants in the area..But the Wraps are very tasty and otherIndian restaurants in the area don't have the wraps on their menu .... I also heard that the Kababs are good as well.

Lamb biryani was great! They were out of samosas, and called to let us know, but didn't take it off the bill....so I called and got them a week later when they had more, no bigs. They were fab, btw.

Food is good, but they don't give you enough for the price. Complained to the manager, they offered 10% off my next visit, but I don't want to go back.

Common Indian selection. The food is always cooked and seasoned well. I really enjoy the Kebabs, all of them. The samosas are not the best item; I would pass on those.

We got a pretty good lunch of daal, rice, naan, and a chicken kabab wrap for our typical "cheapish" lunch budget. I've had more piquantly seasoned daal, and sat in fresher-looking places...but, for the price, no complaints. Oh, except for one: the entryway smelled of industrial cleaning solution. I've been in 2 other Indian restaurants with this trait. I'm glad they clean--don't get me wrong--but, frankly, I'd rather smell cardamom when I walk in.

Pretty good place. Nothing wrong with it but nothing was the best I've ever had. Will definitely hit an Indian food craving.

Tasty Indian food at reasonable price. This local gem is always busy with people ordering takeouts and deliveries. The food is always fresh and tasty. I have regularly ordered takeouts from Kabab Stop for 2 years. About a year ago, they seemed to have change management slightly and the dishes became more blend and the quality of the ingredients also decreased. It seems that in order to speed up the orders (it used to take up to an hour for the food to get ready because they cook everything to order), they have now started precook many dishes. Before that, I would have given it a 5-star rating, but now, it still has a well-deserved 4 star rating.

After eating at this place, I have come to realize that family owned restaurants are always better then chains. Kabab stop is a small restaurant but the flavor of the food is anything but small. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good Indian meal.

This place is average - that is the best way to describe it. The food doesn't have the right amount of "kick" to it the way Indian food should. I even told them to spice it up for me since I like my Indian food prepared authentically. I ordered the chicken curry, chicken tikka masala, saag (palak) paneer and a few orders of naan. The chicken curry didn't have enough of an onion base. The tikka masala was too creamy, and the saag paneer didn't have enough garam masala or spice. The naan was fine. I did ask for raw onions, which they sent in abundance - that was nice. I was told my delivery time would be 50 to 60 minutes. What an underestimate. Two hours plus went by before I received my food. Luckily, I had a Groupon. Overall, I was not satisfied. I will not be ordering from them again. It is overpriced and the taste is lackluster.

Very well done North Indian food. Obviously freshly prepared compared to typical Indian restaurants. Ingredients seem high quality, food is not overly oily or salty. Chef has a good sense of balance with seasonings. Prices reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. No ambience, entryway smells a little funny, but seems clean and well run.

my husband and i just moved to the area, and we tried this place because it was close and we were looking for some good indian food. both times were fabulous, and we plan to make this one of our go-to staples for good, well-priced food. giant portions, great selection, and a friendly staff makes for a great dining experience. it's great for take out too. we are slowly making our way through the extensive menu options, and we haven't been disappointed yet. parking might be an issue when it's busy b/c there doesn't seem to be a lot of room around this part of falls rd. definitely give it a go.

The name is a bit misleading. This is not a place where you can stop quickly and get a kabab--it is a sit down Indian restaurant. This is unfortunate, as there are few places in the area where you can grab a quick, affordable bite to eat. That being said, the food was good, reasonably priced and the employees were very friendly.
