Me my wife and child found this place 18 years ago when our child lock our keys in the car on a very cold winter day. They let us sit in-house until the lock smith got there so we ordered food and 4 many many years it was the BEST China food in town. I would give them a 11 out of 10 just the BEST. Then I stopped in for lunch and new owners had taken over so I ordered took the food home and one fork full and in the trash can it went over all I would give fast wok a 0 out of 10 sorry but YUCK!!!!!!!!!!

The food here is pretty good (I ordered Beef & Broccoli w/Pork Fried Rice and an Egg Roll), but the service is super slow. For chinese food, even on a busy Saturday night, I never expect to wait longer than 10 mins. This took about 25 mins and the counter person seemed to be really overwhelmed. She even forgot to give us all utensils and napkins. I'd definitely order again, but I'll be sure to order ahead via phone to allow for ample prep time.

GIving this place anything more than 3 stars is kind of a joke. It is a dumpty little Chinese carry-out place with mostly-mediocre food and chipped formica, and on top of that, they don't deliver. I will say, though, that their General Tso's Chicken is very good when it's fresh, and since it's not delivery, it should be fresh when you eat it. Everything else that I've had here is below average.

Well, I went there yesterday and I will NOT be back there ever. It was the worst Asian food I have tested in Towson so far. Where can I start? - The food quality is bad, the chicken taste bad. - The store and cooking area is dirty and the cooks touch the food with their bare hands. From flies flying around to the cook's dirty clothes everything is just horrible. - I swear if you take out or order without the sauces that they add to the food you would not eat or accept what they are giving you. This is my first and last time here. If you're crave Asian food I suggest you look for somewhere else. DO NOT make the same mistake and believe other comments about how good the food is. I actually did, one person said they take only cash. That was outdated and old comments because I went there yesterday and they took my CC and charged me for more than my order's original price or the size that I was looking for which is the typical small box. They said they only have "one" size for their serving which is LARGE size. They charges me almost $12 for kung pow chicken. What a waste of money and food I threw all of it away. My last words for you AVOID it.

While Fast Wok is a CASH ONLY and NO DELIVERY restaurant, they are also super friendly, with a very clean looking eat in area and kitchen, and they do have an ATM in the restaurant for convenience. I ordered the Egg Drop Soup and the Shrimp with Hot Ginger Sauce to share with my husband. He also ordered Shrimp Egg Rolls, Hot and Sour Soup and Beef and Broccoli. My daughter ordered Won Ton Soup and Shrimp Lo Mein. Everything was fresh and delicious! Nothing was too greasy or oily, even the fried won ton strips for my egg drop soup for fresh and crispy and light. The Hot Ginger Sauce was really quite mild, but flavorful and delicious. We had enough food for each of us to have two meals. It was a great, inexpensive and comforting dinner on a cold night of wintry mix that we all enjoyed in our sweat pants. I definitely plan to return again on the next cold night when I'm looking for a cheap neighborhood meal that doesn't require me to look presentable.

Fave thing here are the veggie egg rolls, which I buy sometimes to go with our homecooked wok fare. Tonight, we had the veggie lo mein, shrimp fried rice, and General Tso's shrimp. Forget the first 2. The lo mein was completely unremarkable and the fried rice had too much soy sauce. The Tso's was tasty -- yes the sauce is sweet but when I separated the yummy fried shrimp from the sauce and ate with plain rice, it worked out. I would order the Tso's again and eat it with brown rice at home. I think this is the only Chinese restaurant in Hamilton.

I just paid less than $6.00 for the best General Tso's Chicken I've ever had. It's freshly prepared when ordered. It's fast and very affordable. This place is great for take-out Chinese food. The lunch special is definitely enough for two meals.

Great food at a great price! I always have to get a side of chili peppers they don't tell you about it, you have to ask for them.

Awesome. The best place to get quality Asian food in the Hamilton area. The food is great quality for affordable price!! I get the General Cho's chicken (I ask for all whit meat) and it is fantastic. The egg rolls are just right and the crab meat wontons are great too!! The only thing that sucks is that they don't deliver and cash only...other than that its perfect. You must try it if you are in the area.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
