Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Slice and soda for under $5. Not cardboard either. I give their pizza a resounding thumbs up...but not two. I give their chicken parm that I had a few weeks ago a solid "I've had much better." The prices aren't bad by any stretch but the Pat and Gino's style ordering tends to counteract that positive. If you want to bark back and forth your transaction, the food better be phenomenal. The lines at 12p are significant which proves its a tested favorite but its not like there are any other places to get Italian within a couple of blocks either. They have a partitioned off bar which I'm sure I'll visit eventually, but in the meantime... Just meh.

This is a great take out (or you can eat in) place for lunch. Quick service and food is always tasty. Prices are competative with that area for lunch. Especially like their Caesar Salad with grilled chicken- lots of chicken and the bread is delicious.

Had a great omelet. Not fancy but friendly service and excellent food at a fair price.

This place is huge and has an extensive menu. I was in the area for official business and was looking for a place to eat lunch. I tried their sub, fries and I think it came with a drink. Food was tasty and service was nice. Just make sure you are at the right counter when ordering. Everyone got in line at the register but was asked to move to another counter. The line order went out of whack and people in the front of the line ended up in the back of the line. Not a big deal but perhaps clear signage could help. Good, spacious and clean place for a quick lunch though.

This is a great Italian restaurant. Although, if you're on a diet, I would suggest elsewhere as their light fare is limited if it exists at all!!! Try the chicken cheesesteak and penne pasta. I usually get it when I go.

$4 breakfast platter, 3 minute wait, food cooked perfectly in nice hefty portions, and the coffee or tea is great.... what more could you ask for? Stop by next time your near the harbor!

You better have your order ready when Luis hollers from behind the counter, "What chu want boss?" His highly efficient and friendly south of the border crew easily cranks out the best pizza downtown for lunch. Subs and salads are forgettable. The spanish channel on the corner tv will give you some random soccer game for entertainment. In the BofA building, hordes of famished white collar types decend at noon to get their fix on a slice.

Best pizza in Baltimore. I can never be in the Inner Harbor area without buying a few slices if not a whole pie. The prices are great, and the location is a short walk from the Harbor. It's a shame I live so far away!

I have tried and have tried to like this place. I really, really have. I looooooove Italian food and my cohabitants do not. I go through withdrawals and after smelling garlic bread wafting through the break room today I decided to head down for some Italian goodness. Except I just cannot seem to find that here. I have had the pizza which is probably the best choice here. My friend had the spaghetti and did not love it and today I had the calzone and have previously tried a couple of the sandwiches and they just lacked the flavor I was expecting... the tanginess of tomatoes and a garlic kick. I have to agree with my friend in that the sauce leaves a lot to be desired. Seems to be more grease than tomato goodness. Service is fast and prices are fairly good considering everything else in the BofA building is overly priced. But for my tastes, they just don't hit the spot in the way I would hope. There is a bar in the place although I have yet to see anyone actually partake.

Seriously? Who knew? I certainly didn't. Chef Paolino had the single-most BEST slice of pizza I have had in Baltimore. The crust was perfectly crisp and the veggies firm and not overcooked. The meats (i got mine with pepperoni, ham, what looked like gyro meat, and a little bit of sausage) were super tasty and, despite there being so many different kinds, not overwhelming - in fact, that paired well together. And, although pre-made and warmed up upon your ordering, the pizza are presented to you hot and fresh, with no indication that it was pre-made. In fact, you will feel like it was made just for you. IMPRESSIVE. I only stopped in to the Bank of America Building to grab whatever I could find before heading over to the Auto Show across the street. I was starving and often times when you are starving, you are just looking to not be starving, not find the best food around. Lucky for me, I took care of both with Chef Paolino's. I was so impressed, I came back the next day for another slice, but changed my mind when I realized they were still serving breakfast. I opted for a western omelette instead and added some spinach. It was aiiight... not crazy good. Made me think about that pizza again and how I should have gone for that. Anyway, Chef Paolino's is going to get the coveted 5-stars from me anyway because of their super surprising pizza with the extra weird combination and because it really does make you feel like you are in a NY Pizzeria with everyone sort of barking their questions, etc. In this situation, a touch of gruffness was charming. :)
