I have had both good and bad experiences here. The good: pizza very good ! The bad: credit card charged wrong amount and manager was less than friendly about changing, delivery times tend to be long, driver on three occasions had us walk to meet him rather than come to door. Food good, but service needs improvement

Good prices, great selection of pizza and various Egyption dishes. Our pizza was a new York style and while it does not rival the better joints in the country, it was very good. Staff were attentive and friendly. Value was excellent.

Definitely the best pizza in the area. Favorites are the Fells Point, the Mexico, the Hawaiian, the Sharm el-Sheq (could eat this every single day, the chutney dipping sauce is amazing with it). Less impressed with the India and the Monte Carlo, their seafood toppings in general are small and not as good as their other offerings, but they're still very good pizzas.

We had always ordered from Mimi's when we were in the mood for Mediterranean. Recently, though, the quality hasn't been so good, to the point where I didn't want to order from them anymore. So, we tried Al Pacino's and we're so happy we have a local Mediterranean spot again! We got the sampler and shawarma. Salad was fresh, and the dips in the platter were really good. Mimi's uses WAY too much garlic! The bread was warm and fresh and the shawarma meat was just right. I do like Mimi's light vinegar dressing on the salad and this one didn't have any on it. Other than that, it was so good!

Al Pacino's is my go-to pizza delivery place. I have honestly never had a bad pizza, and I have tried probably half the menu. If you order from here, you definitely need to try the Mexican pizza - it is amazing. The Manhattan white pizza is also great, and they do an awesome job on the traditional Margherita. They also feature some different crust options, so if you are gluten free, you're in luck! I have never been to the actual restaurant, but delivery has always been prompt and the employees are always courteous on the phone. At this point, they know my roommate and I by name. You should definitely give it a shot if you live in the Mt. Washington area.

We're in love with Al Pacino's. The pizzas are consistently good. It's a nice break from the chain joints for delivery. We're in love with each pizza we've had... Enough that we've decided to go down the whole list of specialty pizzas. So far I've loved the salmon/lemon/capers. One down side is they seem to have inconsistent delivery times. But everyone is friendly and they are good on recommendations for what to try next.

Just had the worst customer experience of my life. Trust me, I rarely give negative reviews (I try to follow the 'if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all' rule)... But this. ..oh man THIS is a serious exception! I feel compelled to share my horrible experience. Bad food is one thing (I know they have good food), but terrible service is what really upsets me. We placed an order tonight for delivery, 1 pizza. It's important to note our proximity to the restaurant is less than 1 mile. After AN HOUR goes by, we call for an update (I mean hey, maybe they are busy-- that's ok). They tell us 5 minutes. Then 30 more minutes go by! We call again-- owner answers and HANGS UP ON ME. I call back, hangs up AGAIN after being extremely rude. It was as if he didn't understand my concern for the order not being delivered yet. Most importantly, what business owner ever hangs up on their client (if they want to stay in business! !) So I call back and say cancel my order. I don't trust them, so I personally show up. I politely waited until the customer ahead of me left until I addressed my concern with the owner. I asked "why did you hang up on me?" He was immediately irritated and put his hands in my face to leave. I demanded a refund receipt and left. He told me "I no want to do business wit you! !" Oh buddy-- Au contraire! See if I ever step foot in there. Furthermore, I'll put your shop on negative BLAST on the Internet. I repeat, I would never normally do this unless it seriously affected me. I'm sure people on this site have plenty of positive reviews. Hey, maybe the owner just had a crappy night. But there's NO EXCUSE for that behavior!! Adios!!

4.5 stars actually. I'm always on the look out for a good Mexican pizza, and this is the best one I've tried in a while. And, the pepperoni and extra cheese pizza was great too. I'll definitely be ordering again.

I ordered the Pignolata... it sounded delicious. It's billed as: Homemade sausage, broccoli, pignoli nuts, fresh garlic, mozzarella cheese and Al Pacino sauce. What I got was homemade sausage (circular sausage, seemed homemade, gamier flavor), yummy broccoli that had good char on it from the oven (the broccoli was fresh and good quality, unlike Pepe's which was broccoli stalks), and a ton of mozz. NO PIGNOLI NUTS! I mean come on, thats the NAME of the pie, people! I will say that the sauce is flavored well--not too sweet, good herb flavor. I would return...but I will check my pie before leaving the parking lot. :)

Fantastic delivery option if you live in Hampden and feel like switching it up. They might have the most polite delivery guy ever. I have been to their other locations and am happy to say that this one is right on target with the taste and quality. I love the Manhattan white pizza, the Greek salad, and the falafel. This is also a great option for anyone who is vegan or gluten intolerant. They offer gluten-free crust for any of the pizzas and Daiya cheese! Yum!

The absolute best delivery you could ask for! The falafel pizza is amazing, sometimes the delivery time takes a while, but the food is well worth the wait, you won't be disappointed!!

Literally a whole in the wall. But a quality spot! Been ordering pizza from here since I moved to the area and haven't been let down. But what I really like about this place is the selection of salads and appetizers. The pizza is good, I like it better than Pepe's (across the street) but what makes it great is that they offer wheat crust and yummy tizers.

Cheesesteak is terrible. Awful. Like eating tasteless mush with mulch sprinkled in. Place looks like a 1940s prison cell.

I've only had the Giza pizza, but it is very good especially if you're in the mood for something different. The cumin sauce and fresh cut cilantro really make it something to keep coming back for. You get a free small cheese pizza with a large, although I'd rather have the Giza for 3 dollars less and do without.

I order from Al Pacino weekly, and am sorry that I'm moving, as they offer delivery, which is a great after work option. Their staff is always friendly, and I've never gotten a bad order. Their Mediterranean Platter for a starter could make a meal, and their Nature Pita is wonderful and filling. They definitely have the best falafel around, their foul is amazing, and their pita bread always seems fresh. I've been told that their chicken shwarma is pretty great, too. I'd probably order from them every night if I had the money!

Really great Falafel. I'd recommend the Nature Pita. It's huge, and really tasty.

Not ordering from them ever again. Food is good, but twice have ordered with no tomatoes and mentioned the allergy-delivered with tomato mixed in both times. Once is a mistake, twice is just apathy.

Not cheap (not super expensive either) but they deliver to Hampden and the mediterranean food is pretty darn good. Hearty salads, non-greasy falafel, and tasty pizza to boot!

If usurping the name Al Pacino implies a good italian pizza then, APP, "you are out of order!" The crust is not undercooked, just too doughy. The tomato sauce has a bit of spice that a good NY pie would never have. Eat here if your taste buds have yet to be properly initiated into the pizza standards of north NJ & NYC.

Great pizza. I got the Hennigers, which is Al Pacino sauce, fontina and mozzarella chesses, roasted red bell peppers, fresh garlic, cilantro and olive oil. You can taste all the different flavors, and the best part (in my opinion) is that you can actually feel the bite of the fresh garlic. They hand make it in a open kitchen that you can see from the counter where you order. It's not as good as it gets, but it's pretty darn close.

so far, the best pizza place I've found in the mount washington area. the husband and I do pizza and takeout here a couple of times a month. they have some pretty good coupons on their website too, so be sure to google them. once, they randomly gave us an extra cheese pizza, which our neighbors were happy to receive! have had a couple of their appetizers and stuff as well - pretty good stuff. pizza crust is pretty thin and they have a million options. good location, plenty of parking, and always fast service. it's my go-to pizza shop for the area.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
