Their $5 burgers are now $6, but the food is still good and the service is friendly. The menu has your typical bar food options, but also has some more "upscale" choices, some good salads, seafood, and sandwich combos. I really don't know why I don't come in more often, since it's just right down the road. Maybe I should add that to my to-do list?

Horrible. The service was slow and they shorted me 1 crab on my order and didn't care when I told them about it. Do not go here.

This review is for breakfast at the Roadhouse. We used to drive to West Annapolis for breakfast at Reginas which, IMHO, was the best breakfast in town - then she relocated to this place in Cape st Clare, near Grauls and Broadneck Grill. We tried it and while the location isn't as good and the restaurant doesn't have that neighborhood feel, the breakfast is still very good. I'm giving it 4 stars but I've only had a couple of things off the menu so I'm going to go back and do another review in a few weeks! Really hope Regina expands breakfast to dinner at the Roadhouse because that wasn't a good experience a few months ago! But good luck to them!

Great place! Really good food, their burger is awesome, one of the best had so far! Service is exceptional! Look for Brian, he is a great guy!

Went for Breakfast by Regina's on Saturday. It was just GREAT! Definitely will be back.

We tried again last night, and again left disappointed. Teenage servers who think they're doing you a favor by serving you, 2 of the 3 (very basic) orders being wrong, crappy mussels. I still harbor illusions that this could be a go-to place in the neighborhood, because Broadneck Grill is not so special where it couldn't be dethroned. I'm afraid that illusion has now become a delusion. Three years or so ago I wrote something along the lines of the staff was inexperienced but at least it was friendly. Today? Well, they are still inexperienced.

Food was decent. Had a HUGE problem with the staff though. I went on a Friday night and there were plenty of open tables. I waited a good 5-7 minutes waiting for a hostess to appear to seat us. When she did, she looked totally unprofessional and unkept. We take our seat and we sit another 5-7 minutes waiting for our server to take our drink order. Again, the restaurant was not at all busy. The entire time I was there I ordered one beer. This wasn't because I only wanted one, it was because our waitress made 4 table visits. 1) When she took our drink order. 2) To take our food order 3) To drop our food off 4) To leave us our check. She never came to check on us or see how our food was. I'm glad I had cash so I didn't have to sit around and wait for her to run a card. When we left the hostess was sitting there on her phone. Didn't wish us a good night or anything. I'm a server myself and was disgusted at the service in this establishment and will not be returning.

We stopped in on a Thursday night and tried the special - half rack rips and fried shrimp for $10. It was very good both ribs and shrimp and came w/ FF. Our server was fantastic. We'll be back.

We won't be back. We walked in and had to wait because the hostess was busy typing on her cellphone. My husband got the wrong order...twice in the same night. Horrible service. I ordered a medium rare burger, and got a well done burger with no flavor and burnt bacon. We really enjoyed the Trivia Night that was going on that night but I think they only did it once and then I never saw anything about it again. When we left the hostess didn't even look up from her cellphone to say goodnight. Trivia fun. Service terrible. Food disgusting.

Absolutely awful. Never again. Everyone told me how good the burgers were, so we tried them. What we got were three of the most flavorless, dried up, terrible burgers I've ever eaten. McDonalds or Wendy's would have been better choices. The burgers didn't come with anything on them, the sodas were over $2.00 apiece. We had to request ketchup. I have never regretted a restaurant choice more than this experience.

I'm so glad I can now get my favorite Regina's sandwiches at RiverBay Roadhouse. Best Grilled Cheese sandwich!! Regina's great Breakfast is all day too. They also have added back some of their German dishes. Please bring back the potato chips!!

We've been going to Roadhouse forever, but I think we're going to start going elsewhere. Recently they made some changes, and ever since then our meals have been... disappointing. Over the last three visits, we've had: rubbery pancakes that were difficult to cut even with a knife. A burger that was supposed to be medium, that was basically raw in the center. Bacon in a salad that was noticeably undercooked. Sweet potato fries that weren't even warm and had clearly been sitting around for a while. All that in three visits. We'll probably return to see if things get better as they work on those changes, but it'll be a while.

We were passing through on our way back home from vacation and stopped here for lunch. We experienced several problems throughout our meal. We arrived at 1:00 and the hostess gave us a strange look and attitude when we wanted lunch menus instead of breakfast. This isn't a big deal, but was off-putting. Then our service was poor. The waitress walked past us for over ten minutes before even taking our order. We just ordered salads but didn't receive them for over thirty minutes. The worst part was then finding a small beetle in my salad. Additionally, a waitress dropped dirty silverware on the floor by our table and it was never picked up. Staff kept just stepping around it. Overall a very bad experience.

Changes for the good!! Regime's breakfast and now the great lunch. Fantastc Reuben, and wurst items.
(4)Lauren W.
We got a burger and veggie sandwich. Everything was fresh and the fries were hot and salty. We ate at 3pm so no one was in the restaurant - it wasn't fabulous but wasn't bad either. Our waitress Kathy was really nice to us.
(4)Amy D.
We just happened here on Wed burger night. I had a bacon cheeseburger, my hubby had the chicken Chesapeake, my daughter a burger and my son fish n fries. Everything was good no frills food.
(3)Emily V.
Crab pretzel, NY Strip & mussels were all great. I didn't care for the seafood Cobb salad due to the seafood quality but service was great so we will definitely return & recommend to others.

Just left another Burger Night. Food great, as usual. Autumn is our waitress of choice but even the manger came by twice to check on us and see if everything was ok. Family of 6 ate for less than 80 bucks--- How can you beat that? I personally, love the orange crushes. Made with real fresh squeezed Oj, they are better than any other crush I have had in Annapolis. This place has come a long way. When they first opened I was not impressed, but I am glad I gave it another shot in June because since then we have been back MANY times! Great food, great prices, great staff! You really can't get a batter bang for your buck!
(5)Myra D.
We love to go on Wednesday nights "Burger night" you get a nice choice of any burger there ... some "gourmet" choices... I love the strawcutter burger... with fries for a great price!!! Always very good. Nice local choice for food! Nice bar area.... Service at the bar / table area on a busy friday night was a bit slow though.... appetizers are so-so.

Ugh, if I knew this review was littered with only professional publicity photos, I would have taken some pictures. The shots put up by the business owner can never be trusted because they are manufactured photos of ideal food...not how it actually comes out of the kitchen. That said, Roadhouse was GREAT!!! Went there for the first time yesterday and will be back. I would call this solid "bar food with a Chesapeake twist". Definitely some upscale entrees on there but it just all around looks like a good hearty place for food, beer, crabs or to watch a game. I really liked it. I had the "crabby patty" (burger with crab meat on top) which was really good. Saw a couple other burgers and seafood entrees at our table. Not the best burger you'll ever have, but hit the spot just right. Mussels appetizer was excellent. Flavorful garlic sauce that I could've eaten as a soup. Wings had solid potential as a well-done crispy wing, but were unfortunately lacking on sauce. A true buffalo hot wing should be wet with sauce. These were not. The fried banana pepper rings were a first! Have never seen them before and they were very good. Service was excellent! Fast & Friendly. I'm a fan!

The pictures on here do not represent the food they serve. At all. It wasn't awful, and we went on a quiet day and sat in the bar area with the kids. But the guy who brought out our food seemed... maybe high on something? I don't know. But he brought out my husband's burger (and only the burger) and looked totally dumdfounded when we asked about fries. He stood there for like 20 seconds, silent, and asked, ".....uhhhh.... fries????" Like this was the first time he's ever heard of someone having fries with their burger. In a bar. At a burger place.... So yeah, we had to explain to him that it's supposed to come with fries. Eventually he came back out with them. It was just weird. The food wasn't bad, it was just bland, not presented nicely at all (not nearly enough to reflect their pricing) and it was very, very greasy. We all had tummyaches later on in the day, and I think it's from it being so super greasy, when really, what we ordered shouldn't have been that bad. The lady running the bar and who served us was very nice though, and she brought coloring pages over for the kids, was pleasant and welcoming, refilled our drinks, and basically, stood by ready to help whomever needed her. The guys sitting at the bar were watching the TVs and seemed like locals and regulars. So maybe it was just a weird day for the food or something. I don't know that we'll be back, but I'm open to it- I think it has the potential to be a very good experience.

Great local bar, $5 burgers on Wednesdays, awesome HH prices! Bring back trivia night!

Went here on a Friday night for date night with my 2 boys! I like the cozy atmosphere and there is certainly a variety of food to choose from, including nightly specials. They both had burgers and fries, and complimented both throughout the meal. I had the steamed shrimp which were a very good size and steamed to perfection. Took a little while to get the food, but all in all we were very impressed, satisfied, and will be back!

Worst experience ever. My friend and I decided to grab dinner tonight and sat in the bar area. Once seated we asked the bartender if they had any happy hour specials he just stared at us. I then asked him if the happy hour went until 7 he said yes I then asked what was on special and finally asked about specific bears until I found out what was on special. It would help if he wasn't high! We then made eye contact and waived him over multiple times over the next 20 minutes and he ignored us and spoke with coworkers and friends not doing any work at all. He finally came over when we were about to leave with a smirk on his face and asked us if anything was wrong. I said yeah you have not been by in over 20 minutes he then stated I was lying. He took our order before happy hour was over at 7 it was now 7:25! He was extremely rude and stated he was the manager for the sake of this restaurant I hope not. The female bartender then came over and asked if she could help us at this point he went into the Kitchen immediately probably to have them do something to our food so we decided to leave. I have eaten here twice before and the food was pretty good but this was the most disgusting serves I have ever had.

What a great place! The owner and staff greeted us with a warmth and sincerity. The menu was varied to all tastes. Everyone in our party were delighted by the food and portions. The ambiance is noteworthy. Well definitely return when in town.
(5)Gene G.
Ice tea was rancid. I sent it back, but they were kind enough to leave it on my bill. Sweet tea was unavailable, which isn't a problem. But apparently it was available at other tables, since we heard the server deliver it to them. Service was painfully slow, and they made mistakes on the order. Never again.

OK, I caved and tried again. A lot of the neighbors on facebook have been talking about how the place has improved so I figured I'd give it another shot. We tried it on "Burger Night" and it was definately improved. The waitress was friendly, the service was pretty quick and the burgers were actually cooked well (and cheap!). The fries, much to my arteries dismay were excellent! So I am officially changing my review, and will give it another try to see if the change stuck!
(4)Sam D.
This is my local hangout, i come here as often as possible, the food is always great and the service is out of this world. The bartenders are always friendly and make sure you have a fun time! I have tried many of their specials and many things from across the menu, everything was outstanding! I will never stop going there!!!!
(5)Toby L.
Hit this place for Burger night. Great burgers for 5 bucks. Also starting to run specials on crabs so definitely worth checking out. Well run establishment and definitely the nicest gig going in Cape St. Claire.

MY girlfriend and her friend used to go there all the time, until she had a very bad reaction to the food. Well, she wanted to give it another shot. We sat in the bar area, and no one came by to serve us. After checking with staff, they tried to figure out who was supposed to take care of our table. After a bit of "who's on first" action, the original guy would out it was his responsibility. ( a guy at another table said the same thing happened to him, at the same table, earlier in the year ). Get it together kids!! She asked for a well done burger. It came out burned to a crisp on the outside and blood came running out and soaked the bun. When flagged down the server, all we had to same was "excuse me" and he said "wow, that's no where close to well done." I understand some people like bloody, but if you order well done, it should be made that way. I can't understand how any person, who calls himself a cook, can't cook a well done hamburger. I could do it at 13 years old, but these guys couldn't do it? Considering it was about 30 minutes, that's plenty of time. It was just burned, burned on the other side and raw in the middle. I guess they microwaved it when it went back. While a bit confused and scattered, or server was very nice and pleasent. That's the only reason why it gets two stars.

I had lunch here with my manager, and the smokehouse burger was absolutely delicious Topped with cheese that melted just right, a flavorful slab of beef, and a 1:1 ratio of bun to meat it was a great representation of what a burger should be. If you asked for a medium rare for your burger, they will give you a medium rare, unlike other restaurants. The fries weren't soggy at all and acted as a great compliment to the burger. The atmosphere wasn't hoppin' during lunch hours, but my manager did say it gets pretty wild in the roadhouse at nights, but I never experience it. So an update to this place will be coming soon.

This restaurant had a slow beginning with varying success. My family has recently tried it again with their new menu and have found that they have indeed improved greatly. The specials are delicious and they have new salads that add to my much better impression. Give this neighborhood grill another chance if you tried it in its infancy.

Absolutely love this place. great atmosphere. fantastic food. service is a little slow and takes awhile for the food to come out. but still a fan
(4)Deb R.
I was pleasantly surprised. Had heard some not so stellar reviews when they first opened but tried them as our go to Broadneck Grill hadn't impressed us lately. The service was excellent and lots to pick from on the menu. Really good Caesar salad and addictive fried green beans. Plus they serve my Ravenswood Zinfandel for $6.50 a glass. Definitely will be back.
(4)Matt M.
Although the staff were very, very friendly, the food was awful, way overpriced and unimaginative. Truly disappointing. We really were hoping this local neighborhood restaurant was going to be good. Unfortunately, others shouldn't waste their time or money.

Having been there for drinks/appetizers in the bar a few times, we decided to drive down the hill to have some lunch today. We've been watching this beautiful renovation sit essentially empty and hoping that they could get things straightened out to make up for the lackluster reviews they've gotten here and elsewhere. We Cape residents enjoy the ability to stay within the community rather than drive to Annapolis or Severna Park for things and I for one am glad to have another choice down here. We were very pleased with our experience today. Our food was tasty, hot, presented nicely and brought in a reasonable time. The sausage hogie could use a little more spice, but it was good all the same. One of our party had the cream of crab and remarked that it was good. The salmon reuben is an unusual take on a classic but it was well received by one of our party. The server was nice enough and was adequately attentive to things like drinks. It was good to also see 4 other tables full of people in there. This is no fine dining restaurant, but the atmosphere is good inside and I'm happy to see them getting their menu straightened out and be another option for us. I look forward to sampling some of their dinner menu in the future and reporting back.

New fresh interior, it looks like they're trying to take a step up from Bella's. The atmosphere seems to be minimalist rustic, clean but not cluttered. Not like the old Bella's, though there is a bar with 8(?) tvs, might be a good sports spot during happy hour. The menu is good, steak, ribs, burgers, fish, pasta and the like. A good spread, not too ambitious, but i expected more 'roadhouse' fare like BBQ and such. Between three of us we had steak, ribs and a burger. The steak was good, cooked perfectly, if a bit rare for med. rare (just the way I like it), the ribs were just right, but the med well burger was well done. The two sides of Au Gratin potatoes were tasty, but just warm, not hot and the fries for the burger were cold. The chocolate lava cake For desert was ok, not stellar. The portions were ok, but even the senior citizens besides us were cleaning their plates, which tells me that we weren't the only ones looking for ' a little more'. Service was good and fast, no complaints there, most of the dining room was filled except for a couple of 6-tops. I was surprised that my Fordam Ale was 7.50, I thought that a bit steep for a non-micro. I'd be ok with ponying up that for a Heavy Seas offering or something, but not for something such a small step above Bud and Miller Lite. They do not take Amex, which makes no sense as American Express has dropped their service fees to be competitive with mastercard and visa. That was almost a deal killer for me. Unfortunately, with an average of $20 a plate for entres they may price themselves out of the local market. Though I'm a Cape resident, Cape St. Claire is a bit off the beaten path and they will have to win over a following to get enough traffic to pull that off. On the other hand, there is a special menu in effect up to 7:30 that is light, a little less expensive, but still looks good. I'm on the fence here... I'd say they're still shaking things out, but I'm willing to give them another try in a couple of weeks.
