Worst pizza ever! We were starving after our segway tour and our tour guide actually recommended this place. Unbelievable! Maybe he doesn't order the pizza. We ordered the "Sicilian" crust and it was basically a dried out hunk of thick crusty bread with zero flavor. Guess how many slices I ate? ONE and only because I was starving. We thought the price was a ripoff because they don't include even one topping in their price (who does this?). One of the toppings was listed as "green and red peppers." So we ordered the pepperoni with green and red peppers and got billed for three toppings. The service however was outstanding..

Another nail in the Google Places coffin. Google Places is full of damn shills. This pizza is possibly the worst and weakly topped I've had in my entire life. Made a big mistake and did not Yelp this place before ordering - Mangia was a suggestion from the night manager at the Marriott where we are staying down the street. (bad suggestion!) Little did Mangia know that they were making 4 large pizzas for Kevin Costner and his entourage. The toppings were a joke, barely any pizza sauce, and each slice required two hands to prevent 90% of the cheese from falling off. No crispiness to the crust at all. Yelp rules, all day long. There are actually 5-star reviews on Google Places for this crappy pizza joint. Google Places you should be ashamed, very ashamed.

This place has a nice atmosphere. I like the Italian sports bar theme. I got the cheesesteak with fries, we also got a Stromboli, sausage and pepper sandwich, and nachos. My cheesesteak was very good and the other stuff looked good and I was told they tasted good. The nachos how ever we're crap; they looked bad, smelled bad, and tasted bad. They were just piled with bad cheese and cheap crap. Overall I would go back for another steak or pizza or a brew. P.S. I like that its close to the naval academy were I will be going.

Didn't even place an order. Bought a 10 dollar living social and were told we could not use it on a holiday. Our fault for not checking the policy online, but we would have felt better about it had the waitress even made a mild attempt to accommodate us, even if she faked talking to a manager. There were plenty of empty tables, and from the other reviews now I know why. We also had the menus ripped out of our hands by the waitress when we debated whether or not we still wanted to eat there. Glad she did-will never go back, hope you enjoy the $10 donation we made. Perhaps you can use it for attitude adjustment lessons for the wait staff. Went down to Chick and Ruth's and had a stellar meal.

Great craft beer selection and fun/friendly staff...add in delicious slices and you've got a winning combination!

Service was acceptable, but the food was just so-so. Let's face it, you dine out for the food, and in this case, Mangia missed the mark.

Charlie's Bar at Mangia's is a great place to go for great food, good laughs, and awesome service. They keep their craft beers up to date and have a great selection of small batch brewery beers. Better than most of the places downtown who's idea of a decent craft beer is Sam Adams. Their pizza is delicious too! I had the Veggie Pizza and was pleasantly surprised by the fresh vegetables. I would highly recommend this bar to anyone wanting great food and awesome beer!!!
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
