My husband and I strolled in last night for a light meal upstairs in the lounge. The staff were extremely friendly and responsive. We enjoyed the beautiful view of the statehouse while dining on the crab dip, flatbread pizza and a burger. We were happy with the ambiance, service and food. Worth a trip for the location as well!

We came here when we first moved to Annapolis. The restaurant is quiet and dimly lit, giving an intimate atmosphere. I was impressed by the decor and immediately liked it. However, I ordered calamaris to start and was given a huge plate of over-cooked fish. I couldn't finish it and was put off my main meal. The rest of the experience was just what we wanted. A good bottle of red wine for a lovely evening for two. The place is quite expensive and I'm not sure I would return.

We visit Annapolis somewhat regularly and every time we go to Harry Browne's the food, service and atmosphere have been outstanding. Both the lunch and dinner menus are great.

I just had lunch here while Christmas shopping. When I dine on my own, sometimes I experience a different level of service, which I believe was the case today. The Crab Bisque was delicious. Unfortunately it stopped there. I had a Caesar Salad with Grilled Salmon. The dressing was not freshly made, the parmesan was not freshly grated and the salmon had been precooked and warmed through so it was flavorless and had the consistency of shoe leather. I didn't eat it, and sent it back asking the server to please tell chef the salmon was not fresh. It takes all of 7 minutes to grill salmon and it's hard to mess up which is why it's on most every menu. The server came back with the full bill. I asked if she had told the chef and she said yes. I'm not sure if she actually told the chef, but all in all it was a disappointing experience. I get that sometimes when I'm on my own. As if a single woman isn't worth the effort on the server or manager's part. REALLY pisses me off. If I got the salad in a low end restaurant I would have not complained but Harry Browne's? And the manager not bothering to address it? Shame shame..

My wife and I came for happy hour in the lounge. This was a good deal. They have a fairly extensive tasting menu at happy hour prices. We each had two drinks or glasses of wine and enough food to serve as dinner and it only cost $36.28. For Annapolis, that is not too bad. Food was pretty good but not extraordinary.
