Looked nice from the outside and we stopped in for dinner. Food was amazing (burger and popcorn), our server Chris was friendly and attentive, the interior is beautiful, clean with a fun and cozy atmosphere. The manager/owner made a point to stop by every table and the other diners were equally as friendly. Will definitely stop by again on my next trip to Annapolis!! Very dog friendly, outside.

Just had an excellent lunch here. I had the grilled ham and cheese, and my wife got a burger. Both were great. The ham and cheese in particular was surprisingly good, with nice crusty bread. Service was prompt and friendly.

We loved the happy hour. Great specials and excellent prices for great food and drink. Sliders were grilled perfectly to a medium rare. Service was excellent too. Enjoyed the poached pear as a dessert too. Crisp, lite, and flavorful. Looking forward to coming back for dinner.

I stumbled into Factor's Row on a cold and drizzly Sunday morning, nursing a lingering hangover. I had sworn off alcohol earlier that morning but, within about 15 minutes of sitting down, I had a nice, cool beer sweating in front of me. I narrowed this unexpected turn of events down to two things; the cordial, gregarious salesmanship of our waitress and the pressing need to quell the delirium tremens that had begun to make my hands shake like some jalopy driving over a spilled shipment of ball-bearings. I've been to many restaurants in downtown Annapolis. I had not yet been to Factor's Row as it is relatively new to the scene and I am inherently leery of new things and scenes. Also, I had heard that the prices were a bit high; a critique I shared with our waitress shortly after sitting down. Not something I'd normally do but, like I said, I was hungover and the world just seemed like a mean place that needed some criticism. She patiently explained that Factor's Row prided itself on using locally sourced, sustainably raised, farm-to-table ingredients in its menu offerings. The good stuff; primo North American cuisine, untainted by the reckless and myopic agricultural and livestock practices that probably produced my drunken fast-food meal the night before. I ordered the Catfish tacos. I love fish tacos. I often wonder, in times of hunger, how serious a crime I would be willing to commit for fish tacos. I've probably shoveled several hatchery's worth of fish, in taco form, down my throat in my lifetime. This doesn't make me any less discriminating in my taste so believe me when I tell you that these things were delicious. Scrumptious. Not overwhelmed by excessive frying or gratuitous use of seasoning; the main feature was the catfish. Everything else on the dish, while very good, was simply a supporting actor. In under an hour I was greeted, sat, imbibed, ingested and, by the time I was leaving, feeling just a skosh better about the future of both Annapolitan food and the world as a whole. It may not seem like much to read but, I assure you, it was a very powerful feeling; one that stayed with me even after I slipped on a man-hole half a block down the street.

I came in as part of a large meetup group, on the same night that a local politician decided to have a gathering and announce his candidacy, so it was pretty crowded. So I try to take that into consideration when thinking of how long the wait was to get our food and drinks, but it was a REALLY long wait. I placed an order for food, and I had to inquire about it four times before it actually showed up. The staff seemed friendly but frazzled, and I do try to keep in mind that not only was it a very busy night, but that they also haven't been open very long. So I hope that on a regular night and once they work out the kinks, it will get better. As for the food, it was good, although the sliders were quite undercooked. I know that a lot of people like rare burgers, but I wasn't asked how I wanted them cooked so I assumed they'd be at least medium well. And one of them was, but the next one was so raw that the bun turned red when I bit into it. I did send it back, but when it came back it was still rarer than I would like so I didn't bother a second time. They have done a great job with the decor, with a very nice modern/industrial feel. And the location is fantastic, although parking in downtown Annapolis can be a challenge. But I'm optimistic that they'll get things figured out, and the next time I go in will be much better.

We have been eager to see this place open. I have tossed down quite a few beers through the years behind these wall. The folk at Factors did an amazing job with the building. New large windows and exposed ceiling make the space bright and spacious. Every surface is hard however so noise might be a huge problem if it takes off. Service was fantastic though we were the lone table at the time. The squash blossoms were nice and filled with very mild goat cheese and occasional crab. We bravely ordered the crab cake which came with rocking house made fries! A slight deduction for the "aioli sauce drizzle" on the crab cake but a fantastic crab cake it was. Another slight deduction for no malt vinegar available for the fries but they are new. Finally, the beet and goat cheese salad was light on beats but generous with the cheese. Tomato bisque extremely good but the truffle oil baptism was really not a positive addition to the soup. The truffle oil would have been better on the fries. A few seats on the side walk and a large open window at the front are super on a nice day. Snooping around upstairs I found another demo kitchen, bar and additional dining. Welcome to town Factor's Row!

This menu - Farm to Table, Low County Food - is such a nice addition to Annapolis. I've eaten here twice now and every dish has been amazing - even the cocktails are a real treat. For my first visit we were seated downstairs and received excellent service (August 2013). For my most recent visit (2/15/14) we were seated upstairs and had the worst service I have ever experienced. Our server ignored us, acted put upon when we made any small request (like to order food please? Or get our check please?), and was clearly far more interested in doing shots with the 6 people sitting at the bar. Other diners looked equally unhappy with the service and at least one table left after waiting forever to place drink orders. I was particularly disappointed because the food is great (The Crispy Oysters! The Naan!) and I enjoy a seasonal menu, but that level of service can ruin even the best food. I hope they can correct the server issues!

We just had our second trip there. While first time was a little rough, our most recent visit was great! It is clear they are serious about responding to the wishes of their customers. The menu has evolved with really nice choices. I strongly recommend the Brussels Sprputs as a side. It is almost worth coming just for that. My burger was well prepared as I like it, a d they offered a no-upcharge salad alternative to fries. FR is one of tbe few local places to offer a lamb burger, too. Maybe we'll try a regular entree next. They have a nice happy hour plan as well. I think FR is on track to becoming a downtown Annapolis favorite.

Prepare to wait, bring your dog and sit outside. You can watch the boats and people walking by. The food is bar-fare and just o.k. They are getting started so I do hope that the service improves. The place is pricer than I would expect but the restaurant sits in the high-rent district. I had the mussels which were swimming in cream sauce - too heavy for my taste; the salad was find but over dressed and the bread was plain - just bread, no butter no sauce no nothing. Guess you should dip the bread - there is plenty of time, waiting for the next course. I might give them another try but not real soon.

The food was good. Very new american, but good. Service- Extremely slow. We came in at 8 on a Saturday evening. We were ready for drinks and appetizers orders as soon as we sat down (this girl was STARVING) however, everything seemed to take at least 30 minutes to get out to us. luckily though, the waiter/manager noticed that we had been patiently waiting for long service and brought us a free round of drinks. i think it was nice to do. The food Crab soup- Come here for this, I don't think you'll be disappointed. Just enough to satisfy you and extremely well seasoned and tasty Duck fat popcorn- Needed salt. i love truffle oil and Parmesan mixes, but that doesn't mean you can eliminate the salt from the recipe Mixed greens salad with grilled shrimp- WHOOP did I say shrimp? At 8 pm on a Saturday they were already out of shrimp. They allowed me to substitute grilled chicken which was really dry, tough, and tasteless. i just at the salad. It really wasn't mixed greens either. Fried chicken- The fiance loved this and especially the spicy honey sauce they served with it. i tasted a little and thought it was well seasoned, crisp, and not overly greasy. Thumbs up on that one. Caution- Don;t come here if you had the idea that'd you'd just order something light. All of the fare on the menu is very heavy- fried, covered in creamy sauces, or just plain ole tons o meat- so I hope you aren't vegetarian. I guess they wanted to stay true to the "American" style fare- meaning no kind of waist slimming options Overall, it was good food.I liked it, but I really did appreciate the attention that they gave to making sure if something wasn't right, they'd fix it. i'd give them another chance.

Stopped by here for brunch on a saturday around 11 am. There was a 15 min wait but we gave them our number so that we could walk around and they texted us when it was ready. Oven-baked naan ($3) - cool snack. fresh warm naan with caramelized onion, honey, and fluffy cheese on top. Unique combo that totally worked. factor's burger ($13) - awesome fresh burger. What I remember most is the sauce. The cheese mixed with the kick from the mustard sauce and crunchiness of bacon/fried onion was pretty memorable. The one negative was the fries on the side were really wimpy. Friends got the eggs benedict and french toast - they enjoyed it The waitress was great and super nice. Service was seamless. Water was always refilled and we had a great time. Overall, solid place right next to the water in downtown Annapolis. Other reviews on yelp have been mixed, but I would definitely come back.

Truly terrible food and service. The first time I went, it was pretty good. The food was solid and the atmosphere was on point. I went recently and it was horrendous. It must be under new management or something. The oysters were disgusting and they were bold enough to include some that were literally the size of pennies. The crab cake sandwich was slathered in tarter sauce and had a very strange consistency. The crab soup had very little crab in it and tasted strange. The atmosphere was horrible. It was like 9 pm and the lights were so bright we had to squint. They were out of fries, but did not tell us until we got our incomplete orders. How does that happen? It was the type of dinner where you wish you could just get up and leave. I will not be returning. Don't let their website deceive you. Terrible. I'd give no stars if I could. I emailed them about how bad it was, followed up with the email, and I guess they never cared enough to respond.

If you want to have a party at a restaurant where the food is great, the staff is attentive, the view is spectacular, and the venue is both spacious yet intimate, this is the place. I wanted to celebrate my promotion with my friends with good food and drinks, this place made it happen. Pam, the manager, worked with me to modify the menu from the set catering to a buffet style brunch, all with my requirements and budget in mind. Patrick, the bartender/waiter, is super nice and on point in getting people their drinks and clearing out the plates so we can continue with the feast. Keith is the chef and his cooking is mouth watering. The food was delicious! The bacon was thick and just right amount of chewy and crunchy. The sausage was meaty and flavorful. All my friend RAVED about the berries and the waffles. The endless mimosas was plentiful and the Bloody Mary (made with pepper-chino, olive, and pickle) is delicious, just the right amount of tangy with a little bit of spice. I don't normally like Bloody Mary but I would order it again the next time I go for brunch. This is the first time I've gone to the restaurant and I guarantee it won't be the last.

Stopped in on a busy Friday night after browsing the menus in the area. Wait was not too bad (about 20 minutes); service was quick and pleasant; all four in our party enjoyed our meals - the mac & cheese side was delicious.

Don't expect toast with your breakfast even though it wasn't busy. And expect a waitress to be bitchy when she finally brings your toast. Service sucked. BTW, shucked oysters were also full of shell fragments.

Just ate here for lunch. Super cute inside great wine, beer and drink menu. Our service was great. The reason for 3 stars is the food is ehh okay and over priced. I would stick to drinks! Would bring friends here to hang out at the bar.

Went here tonight to check out the new place; I visit Downtown Annapolis regularly and have anticipated their opening for months now. The dinner menu is a little on the higher end of my budget and it was not the right time for me to get dinner there (so yes, it's a special-occasion place like Woodberry Kitchen in Baltimore) so I had a few beers at the bar with a friend. Ordered the pork fries and the fried chickpeas to go with my beer. Both tasted great. The chickpeas were seasoned with garam masala and not greasy at all. The pork fries were great, and not just because of the surprise factor. It's strips of pig's ears braised for hours, and then coated and fried. I'm used to eating pig's ears due to my Filipino origins but apparently it's freaked out some patrons. All I'd suggest re: the pork fries would be for the staff to *confidently* describe it. Will have to go back there for dinner at some point.

The last several times here I have been disappointed. They were out of many of my favorites, or the menu had changed. Service was very slow and I was actually embarrassed I had recommended to out of town visitors that we go there. I will give it another shot or two because the first several times were so great, but it seems to have changed in the last six months or so.

I was in Annapolis, MD, to fulfill my citizen obligations known as Jury Duty. We were released just before noon so I decided to stay in old town for lunch and some shopping. I've visited many restaurants in downtown Annapolis but have never visited Factors Row. No warm fuzzies we're felt upon entering as I wasn't greeted by anyone and the first three tables I sat at I had to move due to existing reservations. The tables were not marked as such. I chose to sit at the bar as I knew those seats could not be reserved ... The menu wasn't large and the prices were expected for the area. I decided on the Crab Claw Mac&Cheese and a grilled Ham&Cheese sandwich. The bartender was friendly and chatted with me often. The coke was warm and was very flat and tasted stale. I changed to Sprite which was equally warm and awful. The Crab Claw Mac&Cheese arrived. Hot, bubbly and smelled wonderful. The cheese was a white, creamy cheese and based on taste I figured it was a gruyere type cheese. The macaroni was like chanterelle mushrooms. But where was the crab claw meat? These was crab meat, but it was slivers of meat which was dried and very salty. Over all I'd say I had one and-a-half tablespoons of dried crab meat slivers sprinkled on the top. Sorry Factors Row but that's what I believe was served me ... Overall the Crab Claw Mac&Cheese was good but lacking the crab claw meat greatly diminished the experience. The grilled Ham&Cheese sandwich arrived. It was hot, cheese was oozing out the sides and the bread was slightly burnt! The bread was similar to an Italian bread sandwich roll and had been toasted. The higher ends of the roll had been burnt but this was easily scrapped off. After my first bite I should have sent it back. The bread was so hard it hurt my teeth and scrapped the roof of my mouth. Chewing was just as hard as, in my opinion, the bread was 1 or 2 days old and had been toasted too long. I struggled through it and ate 3/4's is the sandwich. For the next four days the roof of my mouth was raw, sore, and hot foods hurt when earring or drinking. Next time I'll learn to send my food back. Overall I'm not sure I would return, on my own, to Factors Row.

My son and I, both former mids, wanted to go to mcGarvey's but it was jam packed. So we wandered in to factor's row. I still can't believe Riordan's is gone but we were starving and had some follow on stuff and their bar was empty. A very good experience, my son commented on their wine selection. I had the crab cake. This is not a MD CC but it was different but really good, I would get it again. My son had a fried oyster sandwich which he said was very good. The fries were good, lettuce wedges superb, and just a really good experience,

If I could do 2.5 stars, I would but anyway... Rainy day in Annapolis and this place had the best awning for outdoor dining (I had my dogs with me). Server was friendly and good, food over-priced. Can't believe I paid $10 for mac & cheese. It had very little crab to it. Fries were good, but they were $6. Maybe it's because it's Annapolis, but I dropped $30 (+ tip) for fries, mac n cheese and 2 beers. oooofff

Stopped here on a busy weekend after Thanksgiving. The place was crazy busy, but got a table right away and the manager took our drink orders to help out the wait staff. Now for the food... We started with the naan appetizer which was naan with caramelized onions feta cheese and olive oil aoli. Nice dish to start. Had the crab cake sandwich with home fries which was good and pretty dense with crab. Also tried the sliders and the crab cake soup. The crab cake soup is more like a potato soup enriched with crab and topped with vermouth. It was pretty awesome. Sampled a pain old ham and cheese sandwich- on a baguette with gyere cheese. Simple, plain and delicious - amazing what fresh ingredients can do. Had a pumpkin beer with my food. Can't remember the brand, but it literally tasted like a liquid pumpkin pie. Interesting. Nice place, good atmosphere, especially for a place in the middle of a high traffic tourist area. Ate off the lunch menu and want to try their brunch and dinner menus in the future.

Visited Factors Row on a Saturday at 11:00am. Restaurant was about 50% full. Hostess was almost useless, seated us without a greeting, gave us wrong menus and didn't give us kids menus (we had 3 kids with us). Sat for 20 minutes without even SEEING a server. Asked hostess to get a server for us, and it was another 15 minutes before she came to our table. When we finally had a server, we ordered waters and coffee, we waited another 10 minutes. We overheard hostess tell people walking in the door that the kitchen was backed up and that they'd have to wait about 30 minutes for their food. We finally ordered, and asked the server about the back up in the kitchen. Her response, "well, you never can tell....." WHAT?!?! We ordered our food, waited another 30 minutes!!! Kids were starting to melt down from hunger, who can blame then, they were hungry an hour ago! The location is great, decor is nice with exposed brick walls and industrial ceiling, mellow music, who cares what the food tastes like, the service is unexcusable. My advice: find another restaurant, this one doesn't deserve your business.

I was eager to try this place and was happy to see the diversity in menu items ranging from typical bar fare to a bit more bistro with bone marrow being available. Wine and beer selections are pretty extensive. My only disappointment was the consistency of quality dishes. Dinner service & menu were fantastic but the lunch I have had not so much. The gazpacho on the lunch menu was more like a bowl of salsa. The burger though was one of the top burgers I've had ever. So when trying I would keep an open mind and ask questions on food preparation.

We finally made it here, despite reading some of the negative reviews, and really enjoyed our evening here. The service couldn't have been better and all of our "meals" were delicious. We started with the Choptank oysters which were very sweet, the mussels were as delicious as in PEI itself, the burger was great, the oyster po boy very good, and the the fish taco very tasty. We'd certainly come back to Factors Row based on this experience.

It's new, it's loud, it's decent, and I like it! Annapolis' first foodie-ish restaurant on the harbor. Thank goodness. Things I like: -Location- overlooks the dock; great for people-watching, walkable from anywhere in the historic center. Prime real estate. Nailed it. -Draft beer- they have about five microbrews on tap; not sure if they rotate, because they aren't on the menu. The ones there looked pretty good to me though. -Menu- our lunch meals were pretty great: the naan is a must, and a deal at $3 (!). Burger was cooked to a perfect medium, tasted fresh and juicy. My vegetarian partner was pleased with her brunch hodgepodge. Fries were ideal, neither too mushy nor crispy, with just a touch of salt and pepper. -Prices- our damage for two (including drinks) rang up at $30 total, pretty damn reasonable if you ask me. Despite what other reviews may claim, it is NOT expensive- if anything, on par with any of the cheaper places nearby (but much better quality) and significantly less expensive than ANY of the fancy-schmancy French or steak places that are in the neighborhood. Seriously, the only comparable place in town is Metropolitan, and it's pretty far down West Street. Unless you want food poisoning from any of the gazillion crab places nearby, want to eat junk food at one of the billion brewpubs that proudly haven't been cleaned since George Washington visited, care to drop a Benjamin on a white-tablecloth wine-only dress-up place, or want to eat overpriced tourist crap, this is really your only option in the area, and thankfully it's pretty good AND reasonably priced. Needs improvement: -Noise level- I'm not sure what they can do to fix this, but it was only about 50% filled and the noise level was borderline insane. It's the brick walls and hardwood floors, obviously, but they have to do something about it. Don't even bother going in if it's full. -Service- young kids seem to staff this place, apathetic, unfamiliar with the menu, poor attitudes and not a smile to be seen. Since it just opened, I anticipate an improvement with age and popularity.

I've kept going back because it seems to have such promise -- a great location and menu that, at a glance, seems to be inspired with good food insight. But, after several tries now, it seems to keep missing the mark. Each time I've been here, after studying the menu, I find myself struggling to find something I want to order. This time the menu had a lot of catfish. There were other seafood items but they all seemed lackluster. Our server could not recommend most of the items on the menu because she either didn't personally try them or didn't like them. Since I'm not a big catfish fan and notwithstanding that I like seafood, nothing really stood out so I ordered a mushroom sandwich (blah). After asking my server to describer it, a chewy portabella cap bulging from the bun was not what I expected We had a nice bottle of wine for the cost but the food was disappointing. I like the atmosphere and hope they get it right since they are trying to stand out in an oasis of Irish pubs but for now I will probably try West Street first when dining out in ANP.

So many things to like! We found a clean and friendly atmosphere with options for casual drinks and apps, as well as special nights out. Pub menu was thoughtful and yummy takes on old standbys, plus some try-something-new inspirations. The upstairs menu was absolutely right-sized -- not huge, but something for everyone in our party, plus a well-paired wine list. We ordered from all four corners, shared, and thoroughly enjoyed. Pan-seared scallops and lamb ragu and steak tartar and sweetbreads and poached pear and Smith Island Cake... Oh, my. Lots of thought in the menu. Lots of fresh-sourced ingredients. A wonderful addition to downtown Annapolis! Can't wait to visit again.

We come through Annapolis once a year, so we were excited to try Factors Row. It was a huge disappointment. It's billed as a "farm to table" restaurant and that is not evident in the menu. We had the lamb dip au jus, shrimp and grits and classic cheeseburger - all average. Kitchen was very slow. Our server was very nice and professional. We will not return.

Nice setting. Went here for happy hour oysters ($1 each) and a beer. We tried five types of oysters and they all tasted fresh. We sat at the bar and the bartender was friendly and attentive but oysters took a lot longer than expected. Would be willing to try again next time we're in Annapolis.

Excellent gracious barkeep. Nice bright modern interior facing the harbor. Good solid lunch: cod wrap, very fresh. Noted: unlimited Bloody Mary's and Mimosa's for Sat and Sun brunch at $16. Unfortunately, it's Tuesday, and some of us have to work :-). Lunch specials pick 2 for $10. Nice deal.

Excellent food, we ordered off the App menu, everything was great! We gad the duck fat popcorn, crab Mac n cheese, mussels and breaded oysters. All the food was great. The peach wheat ale starts out fruity and ends with a wheat ale taste.

What a disappointment! We had a brunch reservation for a large party. When we arrived, it was obvious that they had not checked their books. They were not prepared for us. Finally, they took us upstairs where things only went even further downhill. To begin with, they were out of orange juice. How does that happen at 11 am for Sunday Brunch when they had just offered us bottomless mimosas? (Someone ran out and bought OJ. Interestingly, the server refilled OJ directly from the plastic jug.) When my crab cake came out, it did not have the advertised aioli accompaniment. It took the server an excruciatingly long time to bring some and when she did, the aioli had a "skin" on it. YUCK. All of that could have been excused, if the crab cake had been good. It was not. It looked and tasted like a frozen crab cake from the grocery store. It was all "special" crabmeat- not even a hint of lump crabmeat and it had very little flavor. Quite an embarrasment for an Annapolis restaurant.

Once in a while, I'd let my sense of adventure run and leave yelp out of my decision process in picking a place. Walking by Factors Row, there was a bit of modern charm; the happy hour sign sealed the deal. They have happy hour everyday, which includes the Sunday that visited. $1 dollar oysters, and 3 dollars off drinks, along with a clean modern prescence had me in the door. The friendly staff that greeted me got me to the bar. The young friendly bar keep, Chris, and large variety of oysters had us continually ordering during an awesome happy hour. The staff was great, the foods was fresh, drinks were cold, and we had it all on a lowly dime! This place is definitely a place I'd recommend! We came here after a big meal and had a great time.

First, the food I ordered, the cheeseburger, was just bleh. Not at all worth the money. It came with a smattering of fries. There was a side available on other dishes, whipped potatoes, which I tried, and those were good, but not available, just like no real topping options were for the burger. Since I can't eat seafood, it was either this or the hanger steak, which might have been better, but I can't have onions either, so that was right out. However, my wife and cousin had the crab cake, the rockfish, and the mussels, and they raved about each. The only real complaint they had was that the mussels were too small. They would both eat here again, and it smelled great. There was a beer promotion going on and the beer and wine selection was very good. Service was friendly but very slow. We never got one appetizer we ordered, but we weren't charged for it, either.

Usually has seats available in a normally crowded town. Really nice location and decor throughout. Unique menu with lots of options. Cream of crab soup with a sheri base is tasty but had more celery than crab. I loved the Duck & bacon sandwich. The chicken salad sandwich was also a winner. Avoid the asian coleslaw with vinegar base. Not refreshing or complementary with any lunch meal. Overall a good stopping spot for lunch.

Well, this was an absolute let down...let me tell you. A couple walks in on a very slow Tuesday night, with the intention of having a few cocktails and maybe a bite to eat. They sit at the bar, and what does the bartender do? Continue chatting it up on the barstool with his homie. He pours his buddy a nice cold glass of beer, walks up to us, and slaps down a sticky binder (cocktail menu) without even the courtesy of a friendly greeting. Wow! If I owned this beautiful, perfectly situated restaurant, that bartender is the last person I want on my shift. We ordered a Grey Goose martini and a Tito's Dirty Little Secret. The difference? Nothing. The Tito's cocktail was supposed to come with caperberries. It looked and tasted exactly like my husband's martini. It was good, but nothing special. The pour was measly and looked like someone took a giant gulp before giving me the drink. We sipped, we payed, we walked away. So should you.

Popped in here to enjoy some crab cakes and grab a bite to eat. Tried the crab cakes and eggs while hubby tried the crab cake sandwich. The beers were really interesting and I think it would have been great if they offered a flight of beers as there are many to try. The food was okay.... But nothing really amazing. It appeared to be quite busy and the servers over worked. Hubby had crab shells in his food which wasn't that big of a deal but it got stuck in his teeth. I don't know that this would be my first choice restaurant if I'm the area again but it was okay.

Walked in on a Monday night. Only 2 tables were occupied. We were told to sit anywhere, we found a booth with menus already sitting on the table. We sat for 10 minutes with no one acknowledging us. I have zero tolerance for being ignored and bad service so we left and went to the Iron Rooster.

Came here yesterday for a bridal shower in the private room upstairs. The room itself is really nice, it's a pretty large, airy space with lovely views of the water and downtown Annapolis. There's also a private bar and additional bathrooms upstairs so you don't have to go downstairs for either. There's a fixed price menu for private events and the 5 different hors d' oeuvres we had on the menu for the shower (oysters, crab cake sliders, lamb sliders, chicken caesar pita sandwiches, and crab mac and cheese) were all really good. I don't typically eat oysters or lamb but definitely would've missed out had I not tried them. The lamb slider really stood out though... way more flavorful than any other beef slider I've ever had. There was a personal bartender for the event who was super nice and helpful and poured some stiff ass drinks. The signature drink for the event was bourbon, ginger ale, and lime, and I tried my best but couldn't even make it through half. There is metered parking right out front, but parking in Annapolis sucks in general and sucked even more yesterday because multiple spots were flooded from the rain the night before. So, make sure you give yourself ample time and then don't expect to just add more money after the initial 2 hours of parking (apparently not staying for more than 2 hours is strictly enforced).

Had planned to hit up Blackwall Hitch for dinner but even at 5pm they were booked solid until 10pm on Saturday. Okay, plan B. We'd wanted to eat here since we saw the menu up in the window during construction and never got around to it. It was 4 adults and 2 kids. 5pm on a beautiful spring Saturday and there is no wait, so we are immediately seated. This is definitely a "new american" restaurant. Heavy on the seafood. We asked about a kid's menu and were told they didn't have one. But you have high chairs? Mkay. We asked the server if they could do a grilled cheese sandwich given that they have cheese and bread. Was told that the chef is "kind of a dick" but he'll ask. Well, evidently he was in a good mood. We ordered: duck confit main dish, duck confit sandwich, bacon cheeseburger and crabcake sandwich. The kids had grilled cheese. Every plate was cleared. Literally. The guys raved over the duck dishes. Given that I don't ever eat seafood and I ate all of the crab cake, that's saying something. My sister said the cheesburger was amazing. And we all agreed that they need to put the grilled cheese on the menu. A little lettuce and tomato and crispy pork belly and you've got a winner. The guys ordered beers that they enjoyed. My sis and I got the blueberry fizz. It was pretty good but not enough fizz and not sweet enough but still tasty. We'll go back.

Was able to get outside seating when they first opened for brunch. Got two awesome Crush's and coffee to start. Wife had scrambled eggs and I got the Pork Belly/Egg sandwich. Both were ok. Nothing special. We knew we paid for the view and location. People watching is in full effect here. All of Annapolis walks by why you feel the breeze at breakfast. Come for the drinks and don't expect much on the food and you will be satisfied with your decision. Service was great so that's always a reason to give it a shot.

There are some harsh reviews on here... ouch. It does seem that the restaurant doesn't get that full considering it's in such a high-traffic location. But I came for dinner once not so long ago and last week had an office lunch with 30 people in the upstairs area to ourselves, and both times the experience was perfectly fine with only minor hiccups. Servers have been pleasant, the food is pretty good though the menu might feel somewhat limited, and you have a decent view of city dock from upstairs. For lunch I had the catfish po' boy, and while it took a bit longer to get than the other dishes, it was really good. Freshly fried, flaky, on a chewy slab of bread and with a side of yummy french fries (the kind that clearly came just from a potato and not from a bag).

What a disappointment! The seafood chowder was 95% water with celery, carrots and potatoes and the sandwiches came with maybe 10 fries. Definitely not worth the price -- no wonder there was no wait in a sunny Sunday.

I was in with a group of friends this past Sunday and let me tell you, our server had her work cut out for her. We were a group of about 12 and were all college buddies reunited for a fun weekend. We came in for brunch with the full anticipation of brunch cocktails and a delicious meal and our server Joyce, along with the kitchen did not disappoint. At no moment was Joyce impatient or displeased with our rowdy crowd, merely gracious and patient delivering the utmost of service. Everyone enjoyed their meals and drinks and all in all it was a successful brunch outing. I would highly recommend Factors Row; Thanks for having us.

I enjoy Factors Row, they have a short but sweet happy hour menu that is very reasonable. $5 plates and drinks. My favorite apps are the fried garbanzo beans (which used to be grama marsala beans) and the duck fat truffle popcorn. Although they lacked some flavor last night compared the last time I had them, they were still delicious. I also had a small salad that was perfect and the kids meals were more than sufficient and I love the side fruit dish that comes with it (ends up being like dessert). Staff seems to still change a lot but they are always friendly and accommodating.

This is quite possibly the worst place to eat while you're in Annapolis. The food is mediocre and the staff act like you're a burden or straight up forget about you. The only reason why I gave this 2 stars instead of one is because it LOOKS nice.

  • G M.

Great experience, service was awesome, happy hour specials are well worth it. Wings were nice and crispy, catfish sticks were done just right, mussels were awesome, the only thing I would pass on was the pork belly. 13 craft beers on tap with knowledgeable staff on the taste profules. Highly recommend and the outdoor seating was enjoyable. Jacob was a great waiter, knowledgeable, friendly and attentive.

Service was lovely but the level of effort from the kitchen was disappointing. We were the only table of guests that night, Superbowl Sunday. We went on a wimb because El Toro Bravo closed unexpectedly and Iron Rooster closed for a "meeting". The chicken wings were not cooked consistently but the waitress addressed that immediately. She brought us a new batch and took it off of the bill. The prices in the place are very high and if it was unique and fresh as they claim, I could understand. Unfortunately, I found my chicken pot pie to be kind of...yucky. Well the chicken seemed to be cooked much earlier and then put under the salamander to warm cause it had charred pieces from the broiler. The sauce was tangy...of putting. The biscuits melted in my mouth but they were burnt! worse yet, they tried to hide it from me by flipping them over. Come on! Really? My son loved his crab cake sandwich. The grilled ham and cheese looked good. But, I probably wouldn't go back. Sorry...

Factors Row has really gone downhill. Quality of the food is down, bar drinks are average at best, service has really become second rate. Some of the better bar food items, lamb sliders for example, are gone. New items are average at best. With lots of new competition in town they need to do a fast about face, get things on track or they will be gone. Sad as in the beginning they showed a lot of promise.

I gave this place a second chance when passing though Annapolis on a sunny Monday afternoon. I previously had a bad experience related to a 'special' Valentine's Day menu that left both me and my wife leaving and going somewhere else. I have to say, I was glad I came back! We sat outside on a sidewalk table and ate lunch here. The locally-source menu items are a really cool concept. Everything we had had a 'freshness' about it that's not all that common in Annapolis. My wife and I both had burgers and fries for lunch. The burgers were cooked almost to a perfect medium (what we ordered) and the toppings were fresh. The fries were tasty, but a bit undercooked. They would have been amazing if they were crisp. Service was excellent, but nothing that was incredibly awe-inspiring. The overall price was very good, in line with or cheaper than many local competitors. If I had to pick a negative, I would say the single bathroom on the first floor is strange. I think there are bathrooms on the second floor, but I was not sure. Also, the portions were 'enough' but not overly large. I think I can recommend this place for lunch, but I don't think I can visit for a special event unless I confirm their regular menu is being served that night.

Scallops were divine with roasted corn fresh cut off the cob. Others at my table had in house made crab cakes and local oysters Rockefeller for an appetizer and loved them. Very friendly staff. No imported seafood or pre-made/frozen Costco truck food here. Glad we selected this restaurant. Enjoyed the large open windows that allowed a breeze even inside the restaurant.

Went here on a whim, I had a burger and fries (fries were cold) and friend had a salad with peaches that were not ripe and still had stickers on them. Waiter was cold... Would not recommend

First time here and we stumbled on a pretty great brunch menu on a Sunday morning. Somehow we were able to get seating for 11 and the staff was very attentive. Lamb & eggs, oysters & waffles, and the burgers were all incredibly tasty. Cheese grits were thick and delicious (but needed extra salt). Bloody Mary's were more spicy than you would expect but still really good! Prices were as expected for downtown Naptown...and not out of the normal ballpark. We will be bringing friends back here and trying more of the fun options (like crab & avocado).

It takes quite a bit for me to write a review, good or bad. I just don't have the time to sit down and critique any establishment that is in the box. Let me say up front, this is not a critique of the food... or even the wait staff, we didn't even get that far. The host/hostess staff was so rude/incompetent that I wouldn't even consider going back. If that is the face they present, (not to mention they were disheveled and had a wholly unprofessional appearance), then I shudder to think what's happening behind the swinging doors. Their crab mac and cheese may make the Heavens weep and the angels sigh, but I will not return. Better off going to Level.

The atmosphere is about all this place has going for it. The menu looks good on paper but they are perpetually out of items and the food is wildly inconsistent. Every time I come here I leave disappointed. Then I go back again thinking it will be different. Then I leave disappointed (repeat x 5). The bartenders/staff don't have a clue and the place is run by buffoons. And when the employees/managers/bartenders/buffoons aren't working they just hang at the bar. I'll probably go back next week because I love the feeling of resentment. .5 star for atmosphere .5 star for menu 1 star based on potential

We came here on a busy boat show day after someone's recommendation. Based on other Yelp reviews, we may just have gotten lucky, but I must say that our food was truly delicious! The naan with onion jam, farmer's cheese and gremolata was so great- just a perfect combo of tastes. The lamb sandwich with mac and cheese was served hot - the bread was perfectly toasted and everything was seasoned nicely. The burgers were cooked as ordered and tasty. On caveat - the spicy cheddar is REALLY spicy! Fries were hot and crispy. Drinks were good. Our waiter could have been more attentive, but it was a crazy busy day in Annapolis. One complaint - the bathroom was really gross - one stall was out of order with dirty rags and a plunger visible and the other stall was not very clean (wwwww!). We will come back - and hopefully luck out again!

Worst service ever! The first time I went here with some friends and we were sitting outside in the blazing heat without the waiters ever coming out to ask us what we wanted to order for 30 minutes. The owner or manger came out as we were leaving and looked so disappointed when we told him what happened. My boyfriend and I decided to give this place a second try since the atmosphere is so cute, but we were disappointed yet again! The waiters and waitresses all look like college students who care more about socializing and flirting with one another rather than doing their jobs. Our waitress never came to refill water and we had to wait 15-20 minutes to order, 30 minutes for our food to come and another 10-15 minutes for our check to come out after asking. I can't imagine why the wait would be so bad when they had 4-5 waiters/waitresses serving a half empty restaurant. It was even more aggravating that the hostess just stood around at her iPad station, though she clearly knew we wanted to order. What a useless position! The food was actually pretty delicious. The eggs benny and steak and eggs were great! Hats off to the kitchen staff, but the servers really need to get a clue!!!!!

  • Jonathan K.

Came here to grab some lunch with my girlfriend and left slightly upset. The food was good, I cant complain about that. My egg benedict was pretty on point and the serving size was good. However, the service here is awful. There was one girl who literally just stands in front of a laptop for her job... the male server was too busy trying to get it in with a female waitress who was trying to do her job. It took 35 minutes just to eat and the place was not even half full. The chefs were in the back hustling while the servers dicked around. I won't be coming back. If the waiters actually did their jobs, this place would definitely be rated higher. 1.5 / 5

When factors row first opened, it was amazing! Their crab Mac and cheese USED to be great! I returned today with a larger group and found that their standards have degraded. Upon walking in the door the restaurant smelled of rotting sewage and was rather empty. Since we didn't have much time, we decided to stay. The hostess tried suggesting different excuses for why the restaurant smelled so bad, but none of them felt reasonable. Blaming the starch of your restaurant on the trash out back from the restaurant next to you is not good practice. The food was mediocre and over priced. I had the lobster roll which cost 19$ and is half as much food as you would get over at the boatyard in Eastport. If factors row would return to how they were when they first opened (before the oyster bar) it would be a good restaurant again, but until then, I'm not returning.

A group of gals and I went here on a weeknight and Sat outside. They have limited outside seating but we somehow lucked out! Definitely a casual vibe here. I was thrilled to hear that we had stumbled upon a farm to table restaurant! 3 of us ended up ordering the Warm Crispy Brussels Sprout and Local Kale Salad ($12). It was phenomenal! Only thing I didn't love was the pomegranate molasses dressing, it was a bit too tangy for my liking. One other qualm was that I ordered a Diet Coke and it took three tries before one was actually carbonated and worth serving. Issue with the coke dispenser. All in all, I'd go back if even just for this salad!

Perfect location and very nice atmosphere and interior. That's where the positives end for me We've been for dinner three times and breakfast once. Every time has been disappointing and I think the aforementioned location and visual appeal draw us back, but no more. The crab mac n cheese is good but there were many crab shells (at least it's real crab). The breakfast was straight up bad - cold eggs, hard bacon. Weak, cold coffee. Everytime the wait staff is friendly but just not very good. They forget to give you utensils, slow to check in, not knowledgeable about the menu etc. With so much potential all the cons just point to bad management/leadership.

Went here for dinner with my boyfriend. It wasn't crowded inside, and we were seated right away by the open windows, which were great - still got a bit of a breeze from the waterfront without being outside in the heat. I thought the menu was a little expensive, but I suspect it's because everything is locally sourced, which is fine by me. I saw a group devour the seafood tower and was impressed by how fresh and delicious everything looked. For us, the boyfriend ordered a burger with fries that looked awesome, I was bold and ordered a half rack of ribs with mac and cheese and fries and it was so good! The meat was falling off the bone, and the sauce was great. Delicious. Drinks were ok if standard, although the wine I ordered tasted like it had been uncorked for a while... I think they're more of a beer place, to be honest. Overall, great experience! I would definitely recommend.

Charming decor and right along the main tourist drag in town had us raring to try their brunch. We found, however, the brunch menu a little uninspiring: waffles, egg and bacon, eggs benedict, burgers.. However, my waffle with fruit was delicious, my mimosa was strong, and our server was prompt and friendly, so I was content, if not blown away. Certainly a great spot to people watch outside in nice weather. I'll be back to check it out for cocktails and dinner!

I have mixed feelings about this place. I am sure this place is awesome most days and if I lived in the area I would try it again. Love the feel of the location and the decor which is simple and sleek without being stuffy. The bar is very cozy downstairs and there is an upstairs overflow bar for busy nights. Visited during happy hour. Good prices all around!!! I ordered their happy hour oysters - $1 each!!!! They have 6 different kinds. I don't know of anywhere in Anne Arundel County that stocks that kind of variety so on that alone this place deserves probably 5 stars. The oysters were fresh and so delicious. I docked a star because we were given complimentary fish tacos (thank you!!!!) but they had an enormous amount of mayo sauce on them. You couldn't even taste the fish. This is the reason I am giving this place 4 stars. I appreciated the gesture, but it actually opened my eyes to maybe the food here isn't so great. I know that if I had paid for the tacos I would have been very sour over the final product. We actually tried them and didn't eat them because they were so drenched. I'd gladly return or encourage others to visit for a beer and oysters, but I wasn't sold on the other food items based on what we received and the dishes around me I observed. Give it a try though - it's a nice change of pace in downtown Annapolis.

Not expecting very much from this place located right in the center of the Annapolis tourist crush. But, dining alone and very hungry, I sat at the bar and just watched the scene for a while. I was greeted by a very attentive bartender who informed me of the specials. Discounts on all bar food and the beer. What's not to like. Mussels done in the French manner were excellent and the beer special was just right. The quality was there, impressive.

Was here recently for lunch. Disappointing considering the location. Place just seems dirty and dingy, bathrooms stunk like a dirty mop! Service was pretty good......food was a flop. Potato crab soup was ice cold, needed some more seasoning. Crab cake Sandwich and mac n cheese......Crab cake was good, but it better be, it's Maryland. Mac n cheese was awful, total joke, lacked seasoning and any texture. No crispy crumbs of any kind on top. Also, both were again only luke warm. Crispy Rockfish with Celery Root Puree and Watercress was a total flop.....First off the piece of fish was so small, for 25 bucks it needed to be much bigger. The celery root puree was this huge puddle on the plate. It overpowered the flavor of everything. Watercress was strewn about the plate, hard to cut and just didnt belong. Also there were large pieces of chive that I guess were suppose to be garnish? Wont return my next time in town.

Foodies beware, AVERAGE Just ok. Beautiful atmosphere, great wine, beer and cocktail list. Sautéed calamari a hit but needs to be served with bread. We asked for bread and server did deliver! Rock fish platter was a rip off- just pitiful. $27 for a very small piece of tough grilled fish. Why, why, why put a cold mayo sauce with fruit on top?? Oh is that to mask the tough fishy.....epic fail. Sides salad and asparagus ok. Server forgot us after initial order and first round of drinks. He was very very Late to take another drink order so I passed. leave it alone better places to go.

I had recommended this place to some friends who had come in from out of town. We arrived to find our waitress doubling-up as the barmaid and she was out of her mind. Like, really stoned or something. She brought a beer to our table and spilt it on herself, brought the wrong beer to my husband, took our food order and then came back to see if we wanted to order food and could barely string a sentence together by the time we were leaving. It was awful. She couldn't remember who had ordered what and was all over the place. The older white-haired guy who seemed to be her manager noticed she was out of it, but did nothing. The woman's colleagues all avoided her and didn't say anything to her when she nearly walked into them. My receipt says she was called Erica. The food wasn't much better. I had the burger which was tasteless and the duck fat fries which were greasy. I'm sorry to say I won't be back here in a hurry and neither will anyone who asks me if it's a good place to eat. I don't think Erica is a good representation of this, or any, establishment at all.

Went back! Update: Sat outside and had great service. The staff was very pleasantly accommodating to our tables needs, as well as our four-legged dining guest too! Food selection is better than I initially thought, I just passed up on the duck-fat popcorn and bigger sandwiches on my initial visit, only to be surprised by the size and quality of my future sandwich. The signature Factor's burger was a flavorful made to order burger with house smoked bacon, adding a unique smoky crunch to a generic organic burger. Served with fries, the burger was better than most local restaurants, and again offers a more tailored hand selected flavor profile better than any other location at the harbour. Drink service was a lot better than before my previous visit. Getting another beverage refill this time significantly better than my original experience with the day-time bartender - a nightmare no thirsty person should ever be pitted against. Only downside is the lack of sunshade provided to tables when sitting outside. Most of the neighboring restaurants offer umbrellas over their tables - Factors row sadly does not. One thing I would recommend checking out here is the brunch menu selection offered at Factors row. Similar to other brunch locations, unlimited bloody mary's and mimosas are offered throughout brunch. 4 stars.

  • Moira M.

Much improved from the first time! Get the fried chicken! Their brat special last night was amazing, and so was our server - she even packed us extra spicy pickles to go with our left overs. I'm Factor's Row's newest fan!

I wanted to like this place-a new local restaurant in downtown Annapolis. We finally made it here for lunch on Father's Day. I left feeling guilty that I had suggested it to my husband. We sat outside. Our server was initially friendly, but we hardly saw her afterwards. Our drinks were never refilled (until we were done eating and I asked). Our food was delivered after a decent wait, but we were never checked on. I had to stalk down the waitress to get our check to leave. All in all, it was an expensive mistake. The food was mediocre, but hard to enjoy with such poor service.

$23 for a Rockfish sandwich (photo posted) with two little pieces of dried up overcooked fish, luke warm fries, which took almost 45 minutes to serve (the place was half empty). Other than location, absolutely no other reason to come here.

Factors Row gets major points from me for many reasons. We came here on my birthday after our sunset sail on the Schooner Woodwind. Having tried several of the restaurants around Market Space in the past, I was in the mood for something new. Factors Row caught my eye (and ear) so we decided to give it a shot. We sat outside, which was a great choice for a warm August evening, and could hear the musicians throughout our meal (not sure if they have live music/singers every Friday night, but they did when we came, and it was a great addition to our experience). I like that they have appetizers, small plates, and regular sized entrees. We ordered from all three categories. First up was the oven baked naan, which is a bestseller for a reason. For only $3 (!!!!!), we got warm and slightly chewy naan that was topped with a delicious marriage of caramelized onion jam, honey, and farmer's cheese. Amazing. Next up were the PEI mussels and the lamb sliders (small plates). The mussels were ok - a tad disappointing, considering we were in a seafood mecca - but the lamb sliders were outstanding. Nice and juicy with just the right amount of goat cheese to accompany. As if that wasn't enough, we finished by splitting the seared diver scallops entree. I had mixed feelings about this one. The scallops were excellent - cooked very well and very nice and plump - but I wasn't a fan of the accompaniments. The creamed corn/avacado/marscapone was just too much for me and detracted from the delicate flavor of the scallops. Not a bad dish by any means, but not a home run either. The drinks were pretty solid as well. I had a mojito (my first, actually, since giving birth, so it was extra special!) which was outstanding, and my husband had a beer (forget which, but he was a fan of the selection). The have a regular happy hour and a late night happy hour - both of which we missed, unfortunately - but good to know for the future. Lastly, Factors Row gets big points in our book for being so kind and accommodating. Our normally very chill child (I do not exaggerate by saying 90% of the time she is very, very chill) decided to have an epic meltdown during dinner. This was, of course, embarrassing, but the staff was so gracious. The manager (I presume, because he wasn't our waitress and he wasn't dressed in waiter garb) came out and offered to take our plates back in to keep warm while my husband took the baby around the block to try to calm her down. Of course I was mortified, but the staff was really so nice and just wanted to make sure we were enjoying their food. I think most places would give parents the stink-eye and just hope that they hurry up and leave, but Factors Row treated us all with great respect. Sadly, we didn't stay to enjoy dessert, but I'm sure I would've enjoyed it based on the menu choices! When we are back in Annapolis (hopefully next time we'll have a babysitter, ha), we will definitely come back to Factors Row.

First visit, a Sat afternoon took a shopping break and stopped in for a drink and lite fare. Enjoyed a bucket of mussels, sampled all four varieties of oysters and a couple of their house drinks. The best dirty martini I've had in a while. Our server was excellent and the place has that great old Annapolis seaport atmosphere. I'd definitely go again.

I stopped into Factor's Row for lunch on a visit to Annapolis and I wish I hadn't. I also wished I warned other customers to not bother ordering food here while they walked in the door. I sat at the bar and waited several minutes before I had to get the bartenders attention to order a drink. The mimosa was a mimosa, nothing special other than that it was $6, a good deal I suppose. I ordered the Crab Benny because I love crab cakes in Annapolis and a side of bacon. The Crab Benny came with potatoes, and the food served to me was lukewarm and the potatoes were cold. I notified the bartender and he offered no solutions until I asked him if this was normal for them. He brought be new hot potatoes but getting him to offer to replace the food entirely was like pulling teeth. Because I was hungry and getting on the road soon I ate what was in front of me but realized what a waste of time because the crab was not flavorful, the sauce on the poached egg was bland, and the Harissa on the potatoes overpowered the entire dish. Not to mention that the new potatoes I got, while hot, weren't cooked all the way through. Way to go Factor's Row! I won't be coming back here again and will make sure to advise others to avoid your joint.

I had a great anniversary dinner at the bar with my hubby. The bartender was friendly and the food was hot. I took away 1 star because my steak was extremely fatty even for a ribeye which is a cut where some fat is to be expected. Other than that the drinks flowed all night and we had an enjoyable time.

Stopped here last night on our bar hop for New Years Eve. The bouncer outside told us they were serving food and champagne upstairs so we decided to check that out first (downstairs was more of a dance club area). We walked upstairs and found one open table. The few bar seats were all full as were the rest of the tables, but the place was not packed. A man brought over two drink menus to my group and said someone would be over shortly. Beers were overpriced. About 10 minutes went by and still no one had come over. There were two girls working behind the bar that kept walking by to serve the tables around us, but despite my friends trying to get their attention, no one came to our table. I work in the service industry and give others the benefit of the doubt, so we sent my friend to the bar to ask. He returned saying the bartender had rudely told him they were no longer serving food and would not be coming over to our table (how hard would that have been to say initially?). Our legs aren't broken, so we went up to the bar to get the drinks ourselves. Took another 15 minutes to get drinks because one of the girl was new and didn't know how to make one of the cocktails on their menu. Throughout the time we were there most of our friends ended up going downstairs where it was packed because they still got their drinks faster. If you go check out downstairs, it had a fun vibe without paying $10+ for specialty drinks with an attitude.

I always try to give restaurants the benefit of the doubt when I don't have a good experience. My best friend from college worked in a restaurant so I know how things can go wrong. My experience at factors row was really bad. We had gone to. A new restaurant that just opened up across the bridge, but they were too crowded so we were looking for a place to eat. We had not seen factor row before so I checked their menu online and saw "farm to table" and "new American cuisine with a southern flair" and I was interested...this place offered neither farm to table or southern flair... We came in and ordered drinks. I ordered an iced tea and my partner ordered a lemonade. The lemonade tasted like it was out of a can and my iced tea tasted as if it had been made a few days ago...not a good start. We ordered the lamb sliders and grilled oysters with cheddar and bacon as appetizers. The lamb sliders were excellent. I would love to eat those again (but we will never go back to this place). The grilled oysters tasted like they had been cooked in a broiler instead of a grill. The cheese had been over cooked on the top until it was a hard crust and the oysters were very dry. There was also BBQ sauce added and no sign of bacon. This place has a corner of their restaurant that is an raw bar so I would have thought that they knew what to do with an oyster....I was so disappointed My partner decided to order a coke since the lemonade was so bad, but the coke was flat....like someone opened a bottle and left it on the counter for a few days. For our entrees I had the "pan seared" scallops with charred creamed corn and avocado. The scallops looked like they had been boiled. There was no color on them at all to indicate that they had been pan seared. The creamed corn was taste and I like the grilled corn that was used but the creamed part was too runny. I felt that it should have been thicker. The avocado part was what looked like 3 day old guacamole that was placed on top of each scallop. The only thing I really wanted to eat off the plate was the creamed corn. My partner had e shrimp and grits. No flavor at all. The grits tasted like they were cooked in water and had no flavor. The shrimp and the sauce tasted like they opened a can of tomatoes and cooked them down a little and then added the shrimp to cook. There was no season to it at all. The one highlight was that the waitress was very nice. I think she could tell that we were not pleased and kept asking if everything was ok. I felt sorry for her because she had about 5 tables and was the only waitress in the place.

Happy hour deals are appealing with dollar oysters and $2 off drinks. The challenge is that the service is horrible. Beyond bad. After sitting outside for ten minutes with no service the bar wasn't much better. Bar tender seemed to spitefully ignore us, maybe 6 people at the bar walked past us and ignored us. Finally another bartender came on and served us. Forget the deals, this place isn't worth the aggravation.

I love the industrial feel here and such a great location. I can only attest to the food, as we did not get any drinks. The burger was super filling and my friend had the sliders which were equally filling but lacked a bit of seasoning. Overall, a great place for taking out-of-towners, a bit pricey, but you get that with the location. Management was very attentive, stopping by several times during our visit to ensure everything was going well. Oh and the naan was superb!

Had my Chicago gals in for a visit and wanted to try something different while showing them around Naptown. Wasn't sure about this place with the mixed reviews, but frankly nothing in the historic district knocks my socks off so sampling a newcomer was going to be a breath of fresh air. The interior was ok, nothing out of the ordinary and actually a bit dull -lots of wood with minimalist decor. Considering the historical nature of the building I would have thought the architects/designers would have been a bit more creative. No biggie, we were starving so food was the priority. it wasn't crowded so we sat at the bar and had plenty of seats to spread out in. We started with the fried green tomatoes with paprika aioli. This dish can be tricky, especially if the fruit is releasing too much water. But the slices were nice and thin and coated with a super crunchy coating that contained corn meal. We really enjoyed this app, but just wished the sauce had a bit more zing. Dave the bar keep was super friendly and engaging. The owner also stopped by for a chat which was nice. When our meals arrived, I was impressed. I immediately cut my burger in half and noticed with a giant gasp, that the patty was indeed cooked to a perfectly pinkish medium. The beef was juicy and big on flavor with the perfect bun to meat ratio. The fresh cut fries were well executed, crispy on the outside yet tender within. The lamb sliders and the crab cake sandwich got major accolades as well. I didn't sample either, so I cannot comment but if they were anything like my burger they were winners. I am just happy to see some fresh blood injected into the local restaurant scene. I have to imagine the chefs or cooks around here have to get tired of cranking out the same old s**t......almost as tired as we are of eating it. We need more newbies to force other restaurants to quit resting on their laurels and challenge themselves to be more creative.

Service is extremely slow. The food is expensive and wasn't all that great. Stay away from the Cream of Crab soup. It's a cream of potato soup with a crab ball in it. The Spanish potato salad was interesting and not in a good way. I don't need to come back here. Too many other options.

Unwittingly, we went to Factors Row during Restaurant Week. Wait, let me rephrase...we wittingly went to Factors Row, we unwittingly went during RW! [Oh crap, I say, they'll be overwhelmed; oh good, says another, they'll really want to impress and serve great food.] We started with the fried chick peas, which only I of the four found tasteless and unsalted (I though it had the texture of solidified milk of magnesia, but maybe that's just chick peas in general). Next was a dozen oysters, three varieties. We ordered tabasco that our friendly but inexperienced server worked hard to find (after manager said they had none), but it arrived after the oysters had been consumed. Pretty good oysters with a nice, traditional horseradish and cocktail sauce concoction in lieu of the 'Basco. Appetizers next. Two of us had the crab chowder and each made the same 'mistake,' thinking the glutinous blob in the middle of the soup was a large crouton, but it actually was THE crab! Like accidentally breaking the turkey wishbone, I felt deprived. Oh well. [Note to owner--if you serve soup, you need soup spoons, or at least tablespoons....teaspoons just don't cut it.] Two salads that got solid reviews, with the notable exception that my gluten-free wife's salad was served with heaping helpings of croutons. Entree time--two steaks, shrimp and grits and a pork belly with mac and cheese. Judged exclusively by entrees, this would be a one star review. The pork belly was slathered with a harsh BBQ sauce that left you unable to appreciate the protein, the mac and cheese was overcooked and bland...hard to tell if there was salt or cheese on since the overwhelming BBQ sauce found its way onto the pasta as well. The shrimps were fine but the grits were gelatinous and lacked flavor and seasoning. But the steaks. Oh, the steaks. Know how when one is served red meat at a convention they cook the steak 90% a few hours before and then finish it to give it some heat and glistening juice on the surface? Think that, then take away the finishing part. This steak could have been served at a vegetarian restaurant, cuz no one would have eaten that. [OK, exaggeration, one returned their steak, the other graciously ate his--but he's military so is used to trying circumstances--and MREs.] My wife got no french fries because she was gluten free. "Are the fries dredged in flour" we ask? Blank look. I'm thinking they thought potatoes were GF, not a mistake that a restaurant open more than four hours should make (but the second in a row she (Cafe Bretton) where serious GF mistakes were made...pity the Celiac suffered in this world. Dessert was fine, two pretty good cheesecakes and two subpar flourless chocolate cakes. Drinks were fine, wine list was limited but inexpensive. We had a very mediocre pinot noir for $45. If I needed to put a smiley face icon onto this review, when I started thinking about it, it would have been a sad/disappointing face. The more I thought about it I realized it would be an angry face. Dozens of genuine problems that could be fixed with a little thought and anyone--anyone!--giving a rat's ass. You can have inexperienced servers, but not with a passive manager who doesn't offer any direction. No contrition for gluten mistakes or uneaten food, though a modest discount off one steak dinner (with app and dessert) in recognition of the fact that it was completely uneaten (inedible). Total tab, including drinks: $245. This is a cute place and god knows we need more nice restaurants around the Market House. The lunch I had here a few months ago was perfectly fine, but dinner was a complete disaster. I'd recommend popping in for the happy hour oysters and (presumed) drink specials, but you take your dinner here appropriately forewarned.

As a local we were very excited to try a new non-chain, non-Irish pub restaurant in Annapolis. We were much less excited when our lunch was over. Actually not a bad place, but they act like they could care less about their customers -- though that's not really possible. The crab/potato soup was pretty good and I had a lamb burger that was decent -- very good fries with it. My girlfriend had the fried catfish taco which was bland but fresh and well cooked. We were there for lunch and for a time were the only table of customers, yet still couldn't get someone to come over. It also took a long time for the soup to come and then inevitably my sandwich came before I was done with the soup. You'd think when you're the only customer in a place they could avoid that. But the physical plant is very nice it was just an unispirig meal with indifferent service. Not a recipe for success.

Been here twice. This place is beat. Not god awful, but absolutely no reason to go back. I was excited to try it out because it has curb appeal, but the place is dead. On the weekends. Poor drink selection, especially beers. Didn't order any food, but only because absolutely nothing on the menu peaked my interest. It's only a matter of time before this place goes out of business. I hope. So it can be replaced with something better. Annapolis deserves something better.

Not worth it. Server couldn't care less. Food was sub par- almost like no thought (or money) was put into it. One sandwich's bread was inside out. The side salad consists of the lettuce that tops burgers, tomato halves, and croutons. The crab in the Cream of Crab soup looked like two sausage chunks swimming in cream. I'd be embarrassed if it were my restaurant.

Very disappointing return trip. First two trips were ok - enough for us to come back. But today's trip was horrendous. We waited 40 min for our table (had to track down the manager to clear the table he had selected for us), another hour for food, and the food was disgusting. The bread was burned, vegetables on par with airlines, and little flavor. Restaurants have to be either good or quick; this is neither.

Had the mussels which were eh. If you want mussels go to Middleton tavern. Then had the burgers which were pretty good. For dessert we had the cookies and milk which were great. Our waitress Nicole was awesome. Overall a good experience was good and our check was under $50 which was surprising.

We have been wanting to come here for several weeks now and we finally got a chance this past weekend for lunch. Our first red flag was that the place was completely packed and nobody was eating. Usually that's when you should just leave. Instead, we decided to stick it out. We got a few drinks at the bar, which was nice. The bartender was friendly and mostly attentive. Finally we sat down at our four top, each having empty beer glasses by this point. After 15-20 minutes of no server, we signaled the manager(?) to come over and just said, "can we get some waters and another drink order?" Of course all he did was get a server to come ask us if we need anything, so we had to repeat it to her. The drinks finally came after another 15-20 minutes, and no waters. Fine, we ordered our food: four entrees and 15 oysters. After 30 minutes or so, we hadn't got the oysters. We asked the manager guy again if the oysters were ready? They don't need to be cooked, so what gives. Two minutes later, out comes the oysters with the entrees, flooding the table and ruining the point of the oyster appetizer. The oysters were tiny and wiry; sort of embarassing really. Nevertheless we ate them. Everybody at the table said their food was fine. That's what it was: fine. Solid B-. We were ordering beers throughout all of this, and they just weren't showing up until after 2 or 3 reminders per order. The manager seemed completely flabbergasted on how to run this place. By the end of our meal, the place was only half full and the manager looked like he wanted to go home and hide in his closet. Just complete disarray. Finally we get the bill and pay, right around the time my wife's beer arrives. She had already walked outside and our table was clear. Obviously they made us pay for the beer that she had ordered 20 minutes prior. We just assumed they forgot. No real apology or anything like that. Bottomline: the food was good enough to survive at this location. However, if they continue this horrendous customer service, they will be closed within a few months. C'mon guys, get it together. The cooks know what they are doing mostly, and the beer selection is good.

One of the worst restaurant/bar experiences i have ever had. I reserved a room there for a party and we had come to an agreement as to room rental and bar tab requirements... The bartenders stole from the guests by not ringing up drinks and then requesting the "total bar tab balance" be paid by the patrons and not me, the person who rented the bar. On top of that they just charged my card without any warning for what they claim was the difference. I have simply been trying to have a discussion as to the discrepancy and no one will call me back or seems to be able to help with the matter. Not the GM not the manager, no one... Sad

Went for brunch. The omelet was woefully undersized for the price they are asking, the biscuit was crumbling apart and the waitress couldn't even be bothered to get us some ketchup. $50 tab for two people and I could have done a whole lot better job at home. Not impressed.

I took a date here a few weeks ago. I had never been, but I'm always looking for new restaurants to try, and between some decent reviews and an interesting menu I figured I'd give it a shot. We were seated right away, which was to be expected as it was a Tuesday night. Service was attentive without being overbearing, a delicate balance given the restaurant wasn't very busy. The waiter was able to provide recommendations and had a pretty good knowledge of the menu. I started with the Bourbon Rickey, which, as another reviewer has commented, was somewhat watered down. It was still decent, but not great. For a starter we ordered the fried green tomatoes. I really enjoyed the blue cornmeal breading. It gave the dish a really great crunch and flavor to counter the wetness of the tomatoes inside. I will agree that the aioli did lack a bit of kick, but overall the dish worked. For main courses my date had the Braised BBQ Pork, which she seemed to enjoy, while I had the Steak Frites. I found the steak to be cooked to perfection, somewhere between rare and medium rare. The maître d' butter served on top added a wonderful flavor. The Frites were also cooked perfectly, crispy on the outside without being dry on the inside. The only criticism I have of the dish was that it seemed to be a bit disjointed. I loved the inclusion of bone marrow; however a toast point or something to spread it on might have been a nice addition. I also think some sort of aioli or dipping sauce for the frites would have been good. Overall I thought the dish was quite good. I do think it is definitely a welcome change to the City Dock, and a nice addition to Annapolis as a whole. I will have to go back sometime to try out the other offerings on the menu.

Kind of hit or miss. The pluses: * the menu offers more interesting dishes than its neighbors, the usual Annapolis suspects. * the chef does know how to cook -- most components of the dishes come out pretty well. * the ambience is convivial and comfortable The minuses: * somehow, the dishes never come out quite the way I thought they would, based on the menu description. The presentations of the dishes somehow leaves something to be desired. For example, once, I ordered the beet salad with goat cheese, which turned out to be just a bunch of slices of beets and a hunk of goat cheese; the plate shares more with a cutting board with raw ingredients on it than a composed dish. * although the individual components of the dishes are reasonably executed, their combinations often don't work. For example, in their seared mahi mahi dish, the fish is ok (I'd prefer it to be less cooked but it wasn't overcooked at least), the brussel sprouts were actually nicely cooked, but the balsamic vinegar based reduction (which, again, on its own is ok) does not tie the dish together. The flavors just sit jarringly next to each other. * When the place is somewhat crowded, the ambient noise can be deafening. Maybe they are just still working out some of the opening rough spots.

This place is quite average. We ordered the crab cakes and scallops. The crab cakes came with a fried green tomato which did not taste good. The crab cakes themselves were not bad. The scallops were good. Cocktails were a little weak. We had the Champagne poached pear for dessert which was ok. Everything from the dessert was good, except the pear, which was difficult to eat with only spoons.

Factors Row's opening was much anticipated. There was such a big hole in the waterfront area of Annapolis that Factors might fill that Annapolis regulars couldn't help but look forward to the new place. So, after a Saturday lunch, I can only shake my head and hope that they learn some lessons. Although it was beautiful Annapolis Saturday and Factors Row was truly inviting with it's windows open to the street and good number of tables outside, I had to wonder why it seemed so empty... why it WAS so empty. A brand new restaurant, a crowded sunny Saturday downtown and neighboring restaurants seemed full... what was up with the new place? Well my general impress was that they priced themselves out of their customer base. It appears they want to be a fine dining destination and the casual Annapolis day trippers, pub crawlers, and passer's by simply decided they weren't really looking for fine dining at superfine prices. The set up of the restaurant, with the easy and plentiful opening to the outside lends itself to a quick salad or sandwich and a couple of beers or cocktails, yet Factors Row is trying to be more. As one reviewer said it is more of a destination for a special occasion. The problem is that for most of us, walking through downtown looking for a quick bite to eat and a cold beverage we'll likely bypass the special occasion place. My lunch for two which included one beer and a diet coke resulted in a $60 tab. It's just not something I'm going to do very often, especially when the lamb sliders failed to Wow me and the salad was borderline spoiled. My companion did have a pretty good soup, but now, a week and a half later I can't even remember what it was. The dinner menu is even pricier. My main thought on the experience while waiting for our food was, "What a waste of great Annapolis real estate." The place should have been packed, both inside and out with happy diners... instead at 1pm it was all but empty. We witnessed three different parties walk out between the time they were seated and the first visit by a server. My guess is the overly pricey and complicated lunch menu, but I didn't ask anyone why they were leaving. It could be the noise level as the open windows and hard surfaces of tables and floors allowed you to hear all the street noise, but that seems like a stretch for 3 different parties to decide in one short afternoono. The folks at Factors Row are going to have to adjust their idea of what they want to be and compare it to what customers want. It's been open for more than a couple of weeks and the buzz for the place just isn't there. I've not yet seen it crowded. Maybe they don't want the crowds, and maybe their finer dining menu is truly worth it. The fact remains that they ought to be able to compete well, especially with O'briens and Middleton's bringing the mediocre corporate model to town. But so far, they've reached for customers that haven't found them. I wish them luck, I hope they can adjust and make it, but without a shift in their menu and prices, I'm likely to stay away and will simply choose my existing favorites.

Went here for an office lunch. The food was great, but the waiter left my order off the ticket, so I was sitting around waiting for it long after my friends had theirs. I'm giving them four stars because 1) The food, when it came, was really, really good. Fried chicken. Do it. 2) They handled the potentially uncomfortable situation really well. They offered me drinks or to get me anything else I'd like. When I said I'd just like my food, they brought me a free (and delicious) eggnog anyway. And they didn't charge me for anything. Most of my friends had the cream of crab and potato soup, plus half a sandwich. All were satisfied. Bottom line: Good service, great food.

Went there for lunch this past saturday. There were only two other people there when we arrived and a nice waitress came over and introduced herself. We ordered bloody Marys and they were really good. Nice and spicy with an assortment of peppers and olives and pickles on top. We were not in a rush and decided to first try an appetizer, so we got the crispy oysters. They were excellent. They were cooked in some kind of a batter that tasted like it had bits of corn in it and a caper aioli sauce topped with some candied lemon peels. Deliciously cooked and great combination of flavors. So we ordered another round of drinks and the place was beginning to fill up. We noticed the manager or owner, not really sure which he was moving chairs and tables around the whole time and propping open the front door letting the still chilly air blast into the dining area. He was not very friendly, was not making eye contact with any of the guests and you could just tell he was all annoyed about something. And really, maybe he could have done the whole moving of the furniture BEFORE the place opened, because it was irritating. Of course, this guy's bad mood became quite a distraction because it wasn't long before I saw our waitress looking upset and talking with one of her co-workers in the corner near the register. She came back, and not missing a beat, took our orders. We decided to just try the burgers. We ordered them medium rare, but they came out more medium well-disappointing, but we decided not to make a big deal about it because we could tell our waitress was already not having a good day. Somewhere during our meal the manager wither got a complaint from a customer or something, but he goes storming to the back near the bar tossing his arms up in the air and then slamming his had down on the counter. Then walks over to our waitress and screams at her right in front of everyone. At this point, my stomach was in a knot. I was so tempted to get up and walk over to him and tell him what a disgusting display that was. It was already bad enough to see him having a temper tantrum, but to watch our waitress get dressed down on the floor was very upsetting. When she came with the check I told her she should think about finding work someplace else. She just smiled and said she hardly cared what he had to say. So at least I felt a little better. My husband and I gave her a nice tip. We wouldn't go back to this place. Just because of the unprofessional behavior of the manager. No one needs to be seeing that, and it was obvious as the place was filling up that things were falling apart more and more. I am just glad we got there early enough to miss the rush.

Was excited to try based on curb appeal. Ordered a medium burger, came well done. Ordered raw oysters for an app, had to remind the server when she brought our burgers.... no apology or comp. Wanted to try some of the interesting sounding mixed drinks but many of them used cheap liqour despite being 9-13 dollars. Probably wont be back but the food was decent despite the above.

We eat out fair amount, and this place was as good as anywhere. Reservations for two on a Friday at 7:30 and the place, including the bar, filled up shortly after we were seated upstairs. Alex was our server. He was great: honest, upbeat, funny, on-point. We got the raspberry French 75 and Bourbon Rickey. The Rickey seemed to get watered down a lot, and I had a clear view of the bartender, who was probably still getting his flow down back there. Whether or not the Bourbon Rickey is meant to have that much ice, I didn't mind particularly. Later I got a beer I didn't recognize but loved. We got for appetizers the stuffed squash and the fried oysters; both were perfect. For our main courses we got the steak frites and the crab cakes. The steak frites were made to order, medium rare perfectly with a nice mild char, and the tennis-ball sized crab cakes were all, and I mean ALL, crab. The steak was perhaps too salty for mass appeal, the fries very crispy, and yes there was no aioli, but I found them to nonetheless be juicy and delightful. Another (in my opinion overly critical) reviewer cited the lack of aioli as a serious downside for the steak frites. To that I say: if you want the same steak frites or anything else, eat at the same damn restaurant and quit whining. The crab, on the other hand, was very sweet and very fresh. We finished with the deconstructed cheesecake with blueberries on top. The blueberries must have been fresh since they're in season. It was very thick and quite good. The place is definitely new, but if you go in with an open mind and let them treat you right, you won't be disappointed. In found the place has a similar style menu to Fork & Wrench (Baltimore) or BlueGrass Tavern (Federal Hill). Locally sourced, edgy, fresh, etc. Be kind and easy going and the experience will be glorious.

Exactly what Annapolis needs! The food was highly complex and sexy. Chef Long knows how to do it right when it comes to taking traditional ideas and putting modern twists on them! I will be coming by on a very regular basis to try out their newest food concoctions!

Came here today with friends for hubby's birthday dinner. The menu looked great and we were all so excited to try this new place in town! Was so disappointed about the food. Two of us ordered burger, the fries were cold. I ordered chicken asparagus pasta, the pasta was overcooked, so was the asparagus. Friend who ordered steak and fries said it wasn't too bad. Service was nice and the staff seem to enjoy working there.

So glad there is a place serving innovative food in the downtown/city dock area. I ordered the rhubarb gimlet cocktail and it was very tasty. Stuffed squash blossoms and fried oysters were very well done - light and flavorful. I will definitely return.

Visited FR for late (2PM) Sat lunch and am disappointed to report a miserable overall experience. The staff is under-trained, including manager, the food less than fair, not because it didn't taste good, it wasn't the right temp. Soup was barely warm, frites cold and soggy, and they failed to get one member of our party with a food allery plate right after three attempts, a simple burger, no bun and side salad. Oh and apps served after our entrees. Be a long time before I try FR again!

The best part of a recent visit was the service. The hostess was kind and welcoming, the waitress was attentive and pleasant. They also get minor props for having an attractive beer selection. Nothing mind blowing, mind you, but it did have Schlafly on tap, so they have decent taste. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was underwhelming at best. The use of local farmers acts as a differentiator only in culinary backwaters, so its hard to give them credit for doing what any non chain restaurant 'should' do. Instead, we have to judge them based on talent and execution, both of which fell far short of excellent. House cut fries with harissa aioli showed promise, but the soggy fries dipped in a too-spicy sauce didn't deliver. Crab mac-n-cheese should have been an interesting take on Lobster Mac, but instead we received poorly cooked mac n cheese (no mac here...more like egg noodles) with a small mound of crab claw meat topping (shell bits carelessly included). Rockfish with Brussels sprouts (and fried shallots, maybe?) was inedible...totally unbalanced, the brussels sprouts were poorly cooked and an ill conceived match for the delicate rockfish. I want to like the place - it is, after all, a step in the right direction - but good intentions don't make a good restaurant. I may give it another shot this fall, but this culinary team will need to seriously step up its game to compete long term.

I had been to Factors Row a couple of times for drinks and decided to take some friends there for lunch on a Sunday. I don't know why but they don't open the upstairs (where there is actually a view of Annapolis harbor) until 5:00. Strike 1. We arrived at 12:30 which is the time they switch from brunch to lunch on Sunday, and the hostess only gave us brunch menus. Strike 2 Our waiter was well below average. There were six of us and he insisted on standing at one end of the table while he took our orders. He kept asking us to repeat ourselves because it was loud. So of course he got two of our orders wrong. So I got to wait an extra ten minutes for my food. And the food was mediocre at best. I had the fried cod sandwich which was pretty bland and boring and the side salad had a few pieces of greens. Strike 3. I won't be eating there again.

Just had brunch at this place. Had the best "bottomless" Bloody Mary I've had in a long time. Free range burger was wonderful and crab cakes were among the best you could hope for in Annapolis.....excellent!!!! The place was crowded full, but the Manager did his best to get us seated ASAP, even clearing a table himself. Waitress could not have been more friendly and accommodating.....bottomless Mary's being filled before asking. I recommend Factors Row to everybody looking for nice ambiance, great food and great friendly service.

I was really looking forward to this place but was sadly disappointed. When we walked in it wasn't particularly crowded. Very clean, great music in the background. It took us 10 minutes just to get water, then another 15 until the waitress came back to take our order. By the time we got our food (over an hour after sitting) at least 3 tables who had sat down after we had ordered already were finishing their plates. The odd thing was, we ordered salads which take next to no time to make. After (finally) getting our food we all noticed how small the portions were-- definitely not worth the price. Especially when I found THREE hairs in my salad. Gross. Instead of being apologetic, the assistant manager argued with us. Absolutely awful experience and wouldn't recommend it.

I recently reserved tables for brunch for 16 before my son's wedding in Kent Island. I spoke with the manager several times before hand and he was fantastic! The table was set when we arrived and the staff was ready for our pre-wedding celebration. Everyone said their meal was delicious and the staff was attentive and courteous. We included a quick Happy 88th Birthday for my father complete with a slice of Smith Island cake and candles. Thanks for making our day truly special. I can't wait to come back. You've got a fantastic place for pre and post Navy football games!!

We have been waiting for weeks to try this newbie in town and I must say if the cold unseasoned fries were a glimpse into what the rest of the food was like I am glad we asked for the check. Walking out a family asked how it was they could tell by our faces it was not worth it. We actually walked down the street and got a hot dog instead and kicked ourselves for wasting our time. It could have great potential with their awesome location and willing wait staff but they need to improve.

I love good, innovative food - and that is what this place offers. I was there 3 hours after it first opened and have dined there 4 times since. I have enjoyed a frisée salad, country Ham biscuits, crab cakes, cheesecake, and love the burgers. Place is beautiful and lovingly restored. The staff is young and new, but I expect that in a new place. A great addition to the annapolis dining season!!!!!!

We just happened upon Factor's Row for Sunday brunch. We didn't know it was even open yet, altho many people in Annapolis were awaiting the grand opening. It was fabulous. I had the Crab Eggs Benedict. It was the best Crab Benny I have ever had and I have lived in the Annapolis area for almost 30 years. I can't wait to go back & try their lunch and/or dinner . I just hope I'll be able to get a table once the word gets out about how good this place is. Staff is friendly and well trained. Coffee was great, too. And no, this isn't a fictitious review by a relative of the owner or manager . . . .just a patron who is happy to see a new, GOOD restaurant in Annapolis. I am sure they will be a great asset to our town.
