Looks like a whole in the wall but they have great bar food and pool tables too. Everyone there is very friendly. I recommend they chicken Caesar wrap.

They have a very well attended kareoke on Thursday & Friday nigth which makes it a lot of fun. Even though the appearance is quite divey, their food is really, really good. Pool tables are in the back too.

100% my new favorite bar in Annapolis. Try the burger or wings and the orioles shooters. So yummy! We had great service from Brian and Justin. It was a perfect hangout joint for delicious food, strong drinks, and amazing service. We definitely felt a sense of inclusion here. We will be back soon!

I have to laugh because as much of a dive as this place is, it drags us across town when we want a summer cheeseburger. We go early cause I can recall some very rough nights there. The service is slow but so friendly They have 2 kinds of fries but no way to know unless you or they ask. Go with the hand cut ones! Burger is rockin' as are the fried pickles. For what it is... it excels.

I drove past this place so many times, and never ventured in. I mean, it looks like a dive bar. And all you see from outside are the pool tables, and I'm not that into pool halls. What you don't see (unless you go in) is why this is the best dive bar in Annapolis, and why the parking lot is absolutely SLAMMED so many nights. This place is basically awesome. As you can see in pictures there's a large bar with seating all the way around, flanked on each side with some booths and tables, and at the far end: a large dance floor with Golden Tee, dartboards, and a juke box. Everyone inside is friendly, and most everyone is a regular and seem to be familiar with each other. That, coupled with really straight forward and friendly staff, give the place a really comfortable feel. The drinks are pretty standard, but they do keep some really good stuff on tap (not just the standard american 'lagers'..Coors/Bud/Miller). So be sure to ask what's on tap, I usually end up getting something from Loose Cannon. What most people don't realize is that the place has really great food. Now, don't expect to be getting gourmet food...you;re in a bar. But as far as food goes, this bar food is great. The item I've eaten the most here, is the cheeseburger. And for a cheeseburger purest, this is a hands down winner. It comes with your basic toppings (tomato, lettuce, onion) your choice of cheese, and a flavorful perfectly cooked patty. It comes with fries and cole slaw and is just about perfect. Not so big that it falls all apart, and definitely won't leave you hungry. It's straightforward and dependable. I've been known to reference it as the best burger in Annapolis. I think it's definitely in the top 3, but had one that was a bit under-seasoned last time I stopped in. The juke box has every song you'd want to hear. And I hear they have karaoke on Fridays (which accounts for the overflowing parking lot). I still need to check Friday out.

Another great place to escape. Everyone is super friendly. There is an outside patio to smoke and drink. Pool tables and dance floor. Older night crowd is laid back.

I went here once before the remodel and want really feeling the vibe. Came back again recently and felt an overall improvement. Ashley was our bartender, she was amazing and took great care of us! Such a great neighborhood dive bar.

I go here a lot now. One, it's cheaper than most of Annapolis. Two, they have pool tables (if you can get one). Three, they have the liquor I like. Four, back patio is cool. For some reason, I have had an issue, now twice, with giving them my credit card to hold a tab. Once it was charged with someone else's tab and a bartender offered me cash. No, thank you, Remove it. The next time, same thing but also put $3.00 for someone to hold a pool table or something. I, again, would rather pay cash. Until this happened all of the bartenders were mediocre friendly. Now the heavy set, hairy dude has an attitude. Whatevs, I will still go. It's close and cheap. I just won't order from him and will not give anyone my credit card. Personally, I was always afraid to try the food. If you have been in there, you know why. I may actually try the burger as long as the attitude guy doesn't get near my food.

I've lived in the Annapolis area for about 3 1/2 years, and never knew this place existed. It really is just a local dive....I found out about it thanks to an invite to a blues jam, and decided to head out on a Saturday night and check it out. it's nothing fancy at all, but the staff were friendly and the drinks were reasonable. I didn't get to try any of their food, but everyone I talked to swore that it was delicious. I had a great conversation with one of the regulars, who told me that Friday nights are a good night because they have karaoke (not sure if I consider that a good night or not!), and that they'll have a chili cook-off probably in Feb that I should check out. They have some really cute caricature pictures of their regulars on the wall, and you get the feeling that it's a blue-collar version of Cheers, where everyone knows your name. They have a small dance floor, but the crowd that was there was making the most of it. The acoustics were actually pretty good, and they have a smoking deck outside where you can go to cool off if things get too hot inside. Throw in the pool tables in the back room, and I can see the attraction of this place.

This is one of the best local bars in Annapolis. The drinks are reasonable, the patrons and staff are very friendly, but what surprised me the most was the burger. This is one of the best hamburgers that I've had ANYWHERE. Having recently moved here I've tried burgers at most places downtown and around Annapolis. This is the place I go when I'm craving a great burger. One of the top 5 hamburgers I've had at a restaurant and not just in Annapolis.

Complete dump, dive bar, and that is no complement. Downtown prices, crappy food, and a crappy atmosphere. It has one thing going for it, convenience. But even that is not enough to get me there, I'd rather stay home.

Ok this is a dive. But for burgers and comfort food they do it pretty good. Service is a bit sketchy. Not because of bad staff, but management. One bar tender cannot do it all. Staff tries hard, is very friendly but come on. Give the poor woman a break. Very good burgers, terrific meatloaf. With some better support Ebb Tide could be so much better.

We had heard that the burger was a must try and one of the best in Annapolis--and surprisingly it did not disappoint. There was a nice char on the burger and it had great flavor--next time we want a good burger in Annapolis, we will definitely have the Ebb Tide in mind.

Went on a Friday night and it was insane. So loud and crowded and the kitchen closed just as we tried to order something. We were able to get some chips though. Our bill was ridiculously low. It was okay. I don't think I'll go back but that's more because I live about 40 minutes away than anything else.

Pass. It's been okay in the past as a local hang-out. I stopped in yesterday for lunch. Two "managers" stopped by to say someone would be with me shortly. After 15 minutes I gave up and went to Davis' Pub. Very disappointed. I was looking forward to the cheesesteak. Ah well. Off the list.

A locals' bar. Walking/stumbling distance to my friend's house. Spent a rowdy night here. They had a great local band playing quality covers of all your 80's hit. Had enough space in front of the band to do some dumb, drunk dancing, and what looked to be a good, regular crowd on a Saturday night, complete with a couple trophy wives, a few cougars, a smattering of college punks, and the very friendly blue-collar guys buying rounds and gettin' their game on. For a raucous night of shots and pitchers, the Ebb Tide is a great choice. It kicks the crap out of those expensive, yuppie joints in old town Annapolis. Minus one star for the smoke. I know, I know, it's a bar, but I hate having to leave my clothes outside when I get home because I can't stand the stench.

Great local bar. I've always enjoyed the atmosphere and mostly friendly staff and crowd. Pretty cheap drinks and decent bar food with daily specials.

Ask yourself what makes a local bar worth driving to, and in the end it's the friendly people, a fun atmosphere, reasonable prices on food and drink, and great music ! The Ebb Tide provides all of this to its customers and seem to enjoy themselves as they do it. I would agree with once the bars went smoke-free, this place jumped up a full star. There really is no reason why you shouldn't come out any Saturday night and see solid live music, tip back a few cold ones and enjoy yourself on a weekend ! Highly recommended !
