Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

I love this place... Foodworks otherwise known as 'The Mai Tai Lounge' . Their Chinese food is first rate and they have a lot of specialty dishes. They also have some very strong Mai Tais and are well known in the area for it. On Saturday night they have Karaoke also..good stuff.

Food works has the most delicious and fresh Chinese food around. The duck sauce is a great homeade recipe and their menu is a crowd pleaser. They even have a menu item that's called "whatever you want" for those picky eaters like myself. The service is awesome and the bar has great drinks available. Since I discovered Food Works I do not eat Chinese food anywhere else because this is the best and i know they are fresh.

Ordered from here last night at work. Probably the worst Chinese food I've ever tasted. Waste of $10 plus tip for fried rice and crab rangoons. I don't think they use a wonton wrap for the crab Rangoon because it was a thick, greasy, tough, chewy dough. There was no crab in it, only cream cheese. It was a cream cheese Rangoon. The fried rice was atrocious. I don't know how to describe it but I took two bites and threw it out. All I have to say is WTF!? I will never waste my money on this again.

The food was good but the service was okay. No one checked up on me to see how I was doing and the seats were ripped the comfort was okay. How ever the food is decent priced.

I used to frequent this chinese restaurant in 2008. Im not sure what happened but the food we got tonight was flat out disgusting. It's been a long time since I've ordered and clearly things have changed. The spare ribs and beef teriyaki tasted like a cheap watered down marinade that was then heated over a portable stern. You know that odd flavor. The chicken teriyaki was dry and had absorbed the worst of that odd flavor. It was all very oily which could be the odd taste culprit? Either way, I was so sad because their food used to be amazing. I will not order again.

Portions on the combos are VERY generous; the pork fried rice practically overflows from the container. However, the food has usually been pretty greasy. If you live nearby (they don't deliver), I recommend giving them a try; if it's to your liking, you'll appreciate the amount you get for your money.

I have been there several times since moving to the area in May of 2013...I did not know anyone in the area and was alone and hungry...I met the most wonderful people there and they are now like family to me ! The food is wonderful and the entertainment on Saturday nights is not only free but FANTASTIC ! They have live bands and karaoke !...What else ? reasonable and quickly served delicious food...LOVE FOODWORKS !!!

Very average, nothing special. Take out, don't eat in. Do yourself a favor and just go over to the Golden Wok on Grafton Street. A lot better.
