Big fan of the Village Store. I work right down the road. They're always quick with the food, clean facilities and the employees always greet with a smile. Coffee is always hot & I'm a big fan of the "The Villager" wrap. Chicken salad with walnuts and craisins. totally delicious!

hey village store, be more expensive , yuhh cantt!!!! if I am paying 7 dollars for just a sandwich can it please fill me up, is that too much to ask? They take your eyeballs out with prices and honestly it's not that great, it is just the only place around that serves food in this backward hick town so it gets business but of you can go anywhere else, GOOO!!!

I work across the street. At first, I thought ok, this is cool. Good sandwiches. Quick, easy and close by. But after a few visits, i realize this place is an overpriced cafe with poor service even when its not busy. They don't make good lattes. I find the cappuccino is tolerable. Their espresso tastes burnt. A small cappuccino will cost you just under $5 A sandwich here will cost you well over $7. Want a sausage, egg, and cheese on a bagel, thats $5. This place is more than Starbucks and quality is just not there. I now go here if I am desperate or extremely hungry and need to be quick. Sadly, this place will never go out of business since its get a lot of $$ from the students nearby. The high prices don't justify the quality of items or service here.

Okay, so this was the fourth time I've gone here and is probably the last, save for a cup of coffee. The first time we went I had the banana pancakes, which were awesome. The next time I got the eggs benedict, which had a wonky sauce that didn't resemble hollandaise at all. The home fries are awesome, though. The next time I went in for lunch and had a chicken salad sandwich which was WAY too salty, and I consider salt a food group. The next time I ordered the banana pancakes again, only to get somewhat doughy pancakes with no bananas. They eventually brought them on the side. We went back for breakfast this morning and I ordered the Spanish omelet, which was supposed to have spinach, roasted red peppers, and feta cheese. There was no feta in it at all. When I informed the server, she couldn't have cared less. She said, "oh, sorry about that. I'll tell the cook." Okey dokey. And I'll tell all my friends that you all could care less about the customer. I also believe all their baked good are outsourced and are fairly basic. It is within walking distance, so that is a plus. However, I think we'll try some other places from now on.

Roast beef with horseradish was delicious and the owner is very friendly. My only gripe is chips are around the corner so you don't spot them right away when you order, make sure you take a peak before you select your chips!

Decided to stop in breakfast on a Saturday morning. It's a nice little hometown cafe full of locals I presume reading their newspapers, eating, and talking. It has a rustic New England feel, but yet is still modern. Parking is limited and so is the seating inside. You order up front and they bring your food out to you. I had the breakfast burrito which was very good. My family all had breakfast sandwiches on croissants in which they put in a panini press. I have never seen that done before, but they loved it. The prices are higher, but the food is real good. I particularly was impressed by the nice selection of baked goods. Customers seem to come in waves making the staff seem overwhelmed. They could use more than a couple people making food to stay ahead. It seemed like a cool place to meet someone for breakfast or lunch to catch up. Check it out!

A wonderful hometown cafe. Great food, great people and great hub in the middle of town!

Popular cafe within walking distance from Wilbraham & Monson Academy. As I sat and enjoyed my bacon, egg, and cheese on a sesame seed bagel, the locals were in and out with coffee. The Village Store is a great alternative to the many Dunkins in New England, plus the back is like a little country bodega with dusty perishables and cards from local artists. As you eat, test your knowledge with a stack of Trivial Pursuit cards from the eighties.

Just moved to Wilbraham and was really excited to see a local, "mom n' pop" cafe. I've been here now several times and will probably continue to visit mostly due to proximity to where I live and lack of options. The staff is friendly enough and the atmosphere is unique and quaint, which is what initially drew me to this place. I've tried several paninis and sandwiches now and they are pretty good! The service is unfortunately slow, and I hesitated to write this review until I was able to visit at least five times at different times of the week and during different times of day. Even when there were few people around, the service was still quite slow. I know the store is now under new management so I'm hoping the service gets better. I'm also excited about the new expresso machine they will be getting and there is now a live band on Sundays I think from 11-1. This place is in a great spot and definitely has potential, I'm truly rooting for it and I really hope the service gets better!

I love this place, the staff is friendly, the food is great, and the coffee is green mountain...need I say more?

I too work across the street from the Village Store & Cafe. I love their Turkey Club Wrap and the servers are great! They are super friendly and the atmosphere is very quaint and has a good small town feel. If you're in the mood for some pastries, then this is the place to go. It seems like it would be a good place for a little afternoon date. The new owner is awesome and very kind! Can't say enough good things about this place. Great place to read and talk with friends.

This place was exactly what I was looking for in a local cafe. It reminds me of the cafés I'm used to in New Hampshire. The staff is great as well!!
