I absolutely love coming for lunch. They have bento boxes, which allow you to get several small portions. Everything is delicious. I love the eel lunch box, they have my favorite miso soup ever, fantastic sushi and fun special rolls, and I have literally slurped up leftover salad dressing in the past... They also have some really fun drinks, such as cucumber martinis. One of my favorite places, especially for lunch!

The last time I was in Karma I throught I was going to be ill. Seeing the waitress walk around the restaurant killing flies with a tennis racket looking bug zapper. I asked the hostess where the flies where coming from. she satste from the kitchen. I had alreayd ordered I could not even take a bite. Feel free to google their sister restaurant in Andover, MA, I cannot make this stuff up. Gross! The restaurant opened a year ago and in that time has been cited for a total of 19 critical violations in five inspections, according to a report that Andover Health Department Director Tom Carbone provided the Board of Health.

A very good place for American Asian cuisine. I stopped in for lunch takeout and its a nice clean dining room. I had the lunch special and it came with a choice of soup, Sushi roll, appetizer and rice. Very fresh and not greasy. Quite impressed. I took a menu for the office team! $10 & change.

Karma was great. I had tried the sushi when they came to Carter's Diamonds and had to go back for more. I was pleased with the sweet and sour rice and the Chicken and Broccoli with the white sauce was good. My girlfriend has a Gluten Allergy and I must admit they were OK but we're not the best with it. She got by but I could tell she wasn't thrilled. Other than that nice place and nice decor.

I have always loved Karma- such a fun place to get scorpion bowls and last week tried the Sushi yacht for the first time and it's unbelievable! Love the tuna and salmon. The other food here is also very good (pork fried rice, lo mein, sweet&sour chicken). Service is just OK, nothing special but a fun ambiance

I got up and looked at the clock. It's roughly 9:25 am and I wanted brunch. I called one of my foodie friends and we decided to find a new restaurant to eat at. Google & Yelp led us to this restaurant. Karma. We arrived and noticed that the restaurant was located in a plaza. It won points in my book because convenient parking is so important to me. We walked in around 12:10 pm; it was a little more than a half hour prior to the restaurant opening. There was a decent amount of people inside. My stomach was rumbling and all I can think about was their lunch specials or as they called it there their "Karma Luncheon Box". The lighting was dim, not club or bar-lounge dim, but dim enough for us to appreciate some of that natural summer sunlight shining in from outside. The decor looked more upscale than a mom and pop's place, but more unique than say a chain restaurant's. We get the menu and I can tell you that it was a pretty good sized menu. It was big enough so that there was a good variety of Chinese and Japanese dishes with a small selection of Korean dishes. I ended up ordering some green tea as I was deciding on a luncheon box to eat. I ended up with the "Vegetarian Mapo Tofu" luncheon box. I was really curious because I have always had this dish with meat. I got to choose my side dishes and ended up with a very small salad, three pieces of a spicy tuna roll, one fried spring roll cut in half, rice, ginger and Wasabi. Now, to get down to business. I personally liked this Miso soup. The soup itself did not taste watered down like other places so my friend Linda and I really felt like they incorporated Hondashi, the seafood based Japanese stock in it rather than just miso paste and water. The tea tasted pretty much like tea. I don't think you could go wrong with tea. What I did notice was that there was left over how do I say this in English, little bitty pieces of tea leaves at the bottom of my cup. That signals to my brain that this tea is more fresh you know, It's not just popping in a tea bag and calling it a day. The spicy tuna was flavorful and packed a small kick. The "four-bite" salad was normal, and the spring roll had a very subtle flavor which I liked compared to its egg roll cousin. The white rice was normal, neither too hard or too soft. You had a choice to either had your "Veg. Mapo Tofu" to be made with crispy tofu or silken (soft) tofu. I opted for silken. The sauce that the tofu sat in was very flavorful. I really was amazed that it wasn't over powering or too salty. Now, as my personal disclaimer, if you are used to eating Thai and Lao cuisine like me, you probably won't find this dish spicy at all. If you are not, then I'd be careful since the dish itself is marked as spicy on the menu. Also, silken tofu is kind of hard to grab with chopsticks unless you're a pro because I had to use a fork. Don't judge me please, haha. Overall, I liked this experience. For the overall price to be about $8 for my meal and $1.50 for my tea before tax and tip, this was pretty worth it.

Karma has a very large dining room and heavy handed pours for alcoholic beverages. The dining experience is consistent and heavily priced. If you are more of a bargain eater, your best bet is the lunch box.
(4)Amy N.
Poor service! We came in 13 people! Big party for them but wait more than 1 hour for appetite! And the host also gave us an attitude ( for not tell them we brought extra 3 little kids).
(1)Ariel Y.
Sushi was really good. Didn't really like the General Gao's chicken but the other items that came with the lunch special were good. I got the Alaska roll as one of the sides and it was delish. I wished that I had a full size roll. I also had the spring roll which was pretty decent. Would have just gotten sushi next time.
(5)Steve M.
The sushi did in a pinch because Seoul Kitchen was closed one evening but I wasn't overly thrilled with it. Rolls were rather loose.
(3)Le T.
I wouldn't go here unless this is your last resort. There's absolutely no service. Our waitress was only there to take our order and give us our check.
(1)Tricia B.
My husband wanted to try this out. I was reluctant due to the location in a strip mall. I learned a huge lesson about judging places based on location alone. We were there on a busy night. There were tons of people coming in for take out orders and some pretty big parties. I did notice that many customers seem to suffer from narcissism. We were seated after a short wait. The waitress came right over for our drink order. It did take a while for them to take our food order. We ordered a combination of a of food for each course. The crab rangoons came right out but our sushi appetizer did not. Our beef and fried rice came right out but my sushi dinner came out much later. Our sushi appetizer came out as dessert. However it all tasted great. There was nothing to complain about. They feel to be short staffed. There are 3 people at the front desk and not enough wait staff or sushi chefs. If they were to hire more people they might get another service out of the night. I look forward to our next dinner at Karma.
(4)Liza B.
My husband and I really love coming here. Every so often we need our karma FIX!! We always sit at the bar and I think the service is best there. The Chinese food is the best in the area. Super flavorful and not greasy. The sushi is soooooooooo good too. The carol roll is s must try. Also we always get the tuna taco to start. Absolutely delicious!!!! The best Mai Thai around as well!!!!
(4)William E.
Review on Take Out: Wonderful flavor and value. Some of the lunch specials here are based on a bento box theme, which for $8 is a good deal. I really haven't had any bad dishes here which includes Chinese and sushi.
(4)Christine P.
This restaurant had nice ambiance; the atmosphere was nice for a date or family get-togethers. I went on New Year's Eve with two family members, and the restaurant didn't accept reservations. So, we had to wait about 20 minutes for a table. We started with Peking dumplings, and they were exceptionally fresh and flavorful. My entree was the Five Star Shrimp, but it was only slightly better than typical takeout: too much coating and sweet sauce. The miso soup and house special fried rice were both decently priced tasty. I'd recommend this place, although I haven't tried anything from their extensive sushi menu.

I have been to Karma several times since I moved to the area, and all of those times it has been a huge disappointment with service and how rude they are; no customer service skills at ALL. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because I actually enjoy the food, reasonable prices and very tasty. But if it wasnt for the few options we have around here to go out for dinner, I would never step a foot on this place again. To make the story short. My boyfriend and I arrived at Karma at 9:15 pm, since the moment we sat the server or hostess told us we had to order soon because the kitchen was closing, when their hours say at 10 pm. I have worked at restaurants for a couple of years now, and if we say we close at 10 pm that means last meal we cook is at 10 pm not 45 minutes before closing. This has happend 3 times already, and unfortunately me and my boyfriend always go around this around this hour because we work late. After being rushed to order, not even given the chance to read the menu, the food arrived. Everything was good. And a couple minutes later the server adked if we wanted more drinks because it was last call. It was not even 9:45 yet. At the end we asked to see a dessert menu and she said no because the kitchen was closed, and beought some funny tasting ice cream. Very rude. No apologies. If it wasnt because I work at a restaurant myself, I wouldnt have tipped her.
(2)Lynne L.
I previously reviewed Karma as having excellent sushi, but service so consistently weird that we stopped trying. However, our usual local sushi spots have gone downhill, so we tried again. I'm happy to report that four out of four visits since have been very positive. The sushi is still excellent and the service is now normal :)
(4)Jake H.
Karma is fine and for the area I guess you can be convinced it's good somehow because nothing is around. But in comparison to real fusion restaurants this wasn't good at all and the bartenders were terrible, rude, and inattentive. Pretty much everything you would hate about a bar. Food was fine.
(3)Aaron H.
Our go-to spot in Westford for sushi and Chinese. Make sure you get a Tuna Taco. I'd also recommend sitting at the bar. You'll get colorful locals and great drinks! Megan and Jessie behind the bar will keep you entertained!
(4)Rob W.
This place is great especially for the options in the area. Been here several times and have never had a problem with the food, sometimes the service can be a little slow (especially when picking up a check). Personally I typically order their sushi which I am quite fond of, but have also ordered entrees of the menu which were good. During lunch they've got some great lunch specials at fair prices. If you're feeling experimental, they have an option on their printed menu (can't find it on their digital) that allows for the chef to select what sushi to serve you. It's a little pricy per person (not the Yacht) and we have been blown away with the selection. It feels like the chef's go out of their way to show you their sushi skills compared to just ordering a roll off a menu.
(4)Dal C.
I just had the Luncheon Box; great deal!!! You get an entree and 4 sides so 5 items total. I had the Scottish Salmon Teriyaki, Hot & Sour Soup, Crab Rangoon, Spice Tuna Maki and Lo Mein. 2 Thumbs Up!!! Very Tasty!!!
(5)Blondie K.
Amazing amazing amazing!!! Can't express enough how great this place is. Seems a little eh from the outside because it is in a plaza, but trust me this place has the absolute best sushi around!!! Has all of the regular simple rolls available and then a really exotic maki menu to choose from. Service is very consistent and prompt, what more can you ask for?!
(5)Candice Y.
Ambiance was a mix of dated dropped tile ceiling, indoor/outdoor carpeting & more modern decor. There were a lot of servers when I arrived however our server was short in personality and acted annoyed as I asked her about some of the "market priced" specials. The food was average to good average. I wouldn't come again, mainly because we had such a poor service experience.
(2)Sarah C.
The food at this place was pretty good. Not crazy good but it was good. The staff and service were an F minus! We came in on a Thursday night around 630 - not too busy. We requested a both and were seated immediately. After being seated and given our menus the hostess says this booth is reserved at 8 and walks away. Excuse me?! When our waitress comes over she says they will probably move you at 8. She then takes our orders. She brings our drinks and then the hostess comes back to tell us we can move now... so rude! In the end after a long argument about poor customer service the hostess leaves us there. I must note - every booth in the place is exactly the same - the same size and basically in the same location! When the reserved group came in at 8 there were 4 other booths open! We had asked to speak to a Manager/Supervisor and were told there wasn't one there - are you kidding me?! How can a restaurant operate without someone supervising? We ordered crab rangoons and 2 different fusion rolls. The crab rangoons were good and fresh. The rolls were good but fell apart when you tried to lift them to eat.
(2)Local E.
Americanized Chinese food with affordable lunch specials, plus sushi. Heavy on the salt and spotty with service. A 3 out of 5 for food, especially compared to Bamboo.
(3)Alexandra C.
If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Came here for a date night tonight and was first disappointed when my drink tasted like cough syrup. To top it off, both my boyfriend and myself ordered the Pad Thai. It was inedible. The noodles were stringy and and the entire dish was 100% tasteless. We had maybe 2 bites each and had our server remove our plates. I was a server for over 6 years and am appalled that no effort was made to comp anything off our bill and we paid $50 for food that we didn't even eat. Hands down my worst dining experience to date.
(1)Chelsea W.
Americanized Chinese/Asian food that is slightly more pricier than I would expect. Overall good service, but probably wouldn't go back.
(3)Alex S.
Karma is a beautiful restaurant with an abundance of menu items. I look forward to returning to try more of their many options. However, the last time here food came out at odd times. For a short while after finishing the first roll I ordered, I wondered if they had forgotten the rest. However it came eventually, and was delicious when it did
(4)Mike S.
This was my first time to Karma. We had reservations for seven but weren't seated until seven thirty. We received our first drinks for free because of the delay. The Waitress that was serving us was great. The food was reasonably priced and delicious.
(5)Anna F.
The food was good. Unfortunately, our party of three had our dishes brought to us at three different times. By the time my plate was delivered, my dinner partner's food was cold. Additionally, there was a party in the room adjacent to us but it wasn't closed off and the increase in noise made it more and more difficult to converse amongst ourselves.
(3)Brooke R.
Sushi was good. Décor and ambiance are cool. Service was slow, slow, sssssllllloooooowwwwwww.... It was dinner time, but not every table was full and it wasn't crazy busy. After being seated, it took almost 20 minutes for someone to come over and take our drink order, let alone bring us a glass of water. It also took for-ev-er to get our check at the end of the meal.
(2)Sarah H.
Great service ! Our waitress Suki was very friendly and helpful. She went above and beyond ! The food was great. We had the sushi special and a banana tempura roll, both excellent. We will definitely be back.
(5)Michael L.
Are we in Kansas or Boston?. Over priced mediocre food. Should have known from the name.
(2)Rachel D.
Seated and taken care of immediately. Treated to special sushi on the house.. great service and delicious food
(5)Katherine L.
This place is Asian Fusion, but everyone here was speaking Chinese. Translation: the food will have a more Chinese flavor than any other genre. My biggest gripe with this place: they make you pay for rice. I am sorry, but what Asian restaurant makes you pay $3.00 for rice? It was a bit unsettling. I could tell we were going to get charged for it, but the server did not make it explicit. The food from a veg perspective is manageable, but nothing super exciting. The vegetables have a traditional Americanized feel to it - very watered down, and the variety you could find at the local American supermarket. The one I ordered (Buddha's delight, if I recall - all veggies, no tofu) had a decent garlic flavor with the lovely cornstarch-based sauce, but with too much cornstarch in some places. Umm, forget to stir while cooking it? Nice chunks of cornstarch.... yum. The other dish we tried was the green beans - ummm.... I could've cooked them to be more tasteful. They were literally just green beans with soy sauce. It was bland bland bland. Given the small selection of food choices in this area for veg*ns, I might go here again if I'm stuck here for 5 days and get bored of everything else. However, it's really not worth the price. Go somewhere else, and you will be happier.
(2)Matthew G.
This place is great, including both the food and the service. Whenever I am in the area I come here because there is nothing even CLOSE to this kind of quality anywhere nearby. It is pan-Asian, so they have Japanese (sushi, etc), as well as Chinese and Korean. If you go at lunchtime (before 3) you can get a combo or a bento box starting at about 9 bucks! They spoil you with great choices for sides (more choices for soups, dumplings, etc than I've seen elsewhere for a bento box). And the menu offers great variety without being overwhelming. I have never been disappointed here. Sushi is recommended. Their dinner entrees are delicious and elegantly presented. And the service is always right on-point too. Very nice people I'm in this area a few times a year to see my Mom, and believe me, other than chain restaurants and fast food, there ain't much around. Karma is my strip-mall savior when I come visit.
(5)Allison M.
LOVE Karma! Have yet to have a bad roll or a bad experience there. The menu is huge and can be a bit daunting, but you really can't go wrong with anything there. I particularly love the seaweed salad, wonton soup and veggie pad thai. Oh and the cucumber cosmos! I think the only downside is that service is a little shaky - sometimes, you have to wait a bit for any food or drinks to come out. But, the food makes up for it!
(4)Jackie E.
Sushi is always fresh and delicious! They also have great Chinese food if you aren't a sushi lover. Service can be a bit slow during peak dinner hours but other than that this place is amazing!
(4)Kim C.
This restaurant caused a flashback. It was 1989 in upstate NY where we last tasted food like this. The restaurant was in a mall and it was the only ethnic restaurant other than Italian for many, many miles. My spouse to be, an undergraduate student with essentially no money, brought me out to dinner. The company was great and the food was 'early mall food' far from any ethnic center. Karma is similar being Americanized Asian food. We had the hot and sour soup, beef negima and five star shrimp. The shrimp was on their house specials list as 'must try'. We didn't taste the five Flavors. The flavor was sweet and deep fry. The peanuts albeit visible weren't noticeable. The upside was that the service was very good and the staff were very friendly. Maybe it would be easier for the chef if they stuck to one asian type of food and didn't try to cover multiple Asian cuisines. If we go again we will try the sushi rolls - we will not be getting the Chinese selections again there.
(2)Sean R.
I go to Karma for lunch probably once a month for the sushi. The food and sushi is pretty good, and their prices are super cheap. Lunch meal deals and lunch sushi deals are where its at. Service can get slow sometimes, but who's in a rush to get back to work on a Friday afternoon!
(4)Shanley S.
Sat at the bar with the bf on Saturday night. We made a reservation, and got seated right away, but he spotted open bar seats as we were sitting down (a rarity for a Saturday at 7pm) and we prefer to sit at the bar. We got the usual staples of mai tais, sake, sushi and apps and everything was really good. Just as we were finishing our meal, the couple to the right of us got this awesome sushi roll with jalapenos on top that we were sad we didn't see on the menu earlier. It's on our list of must gets next time. The only thing that was, frankly, upsetting, was the loud, classless foursome to our left who frequently used the words "retarded" and "gay" in casual conversation. And they were my parents age! It was so offensive. Looking back, I really should have said something.
(4)Looking F.
nice sushi place .
(4)Jean F.
Very reasonable and yummy bento box lunches!
(4)Liz P.
I have gone to Karma several times recently for takeout since my original review. I have to say that, while their sushi is still on the expensive side, I've warmed up to their offerings. I've been working through the menu and have noticed an improvement in quality. Some of my favorite "indulgence" maki rolls are the Dragon, Spicy Scallop, Alligator, and Spicy Lobster (note: only 5 pieces but 2 are huge!). They also make a solid spicy tuna maki, and their eel (all appearances) has been delicious.
(4)Phil M.
I have been here several times with a group. The sushi is a few shades above the Market Basket nearby. The prices at lunch are good, but dinner prices are not really worth it and we go other places for takeout. Venturing away from sushi were somewhat similar results. The real problem with the place: About 50% of the time I have been there, something in someone's order is wrong.
(3)Julie G.
I'm so skeptical of sushi in suburban/rural areas, so when I heard that this place was slaying it, I didn't really know what to expect. The dude talked it up pretty hard, so I was really disappointed that it didn't end up blowing my mind when we went last week. It's located in a strip mall - certainly not a place you'd expect to find a decent sushi spot (I've gone to the Starbucks next door many, many times, & have never noticed Karma before.) The four of us were seated right away in a booth. There were extra seat pads for people to sit on because the booths weren't cushiony enough ...I guess? We didn't really know what to do with them. We all ordered a variety of fruity drinks - no complaints there. The traditional mai tais & zombies were great. The oysters were ordered to start with were gross - they tasted like they'd been cracked open the day before. None of the other dishes were bad, per se, but they were unimpressive. We all shared some uni (sea urchin sushi), fancy maki (tuna, eel, fried sweet potato, tempura, scallions, & special sauce - which tasted like bacon), tiger's eye (tuna, salmon, asparagus, special sauce - which tasted like thousand island dressing), alligator maki (shrimp tempura roll covered with eel, avocado, tobiko, & crab stick), & a beef teriyaki dish. All the sushi dishes were served warm (!!) & were undistinguishable from each other without their respective sauces. I wouldn't go out of my way to return here; however, should a group want to go here, I wouldn't mind tagging along.
(2)John C.
Like the modern decor. Full bar. Seems fancy. Food was mediocre. Chinese people owned & operated. Staff needs to learn to be personable.
(3)Eye Am V.
Meh. Dint get sushi, fresh stuff; ergo tasted like it came from the freezer. The quality of the meat wasn't that good either... Not impressed.
(2)Catherine W.
I have gotten their luncheon boxes for takeout many times, which is a great deal. Most of the choices are $9-10, and includes a soup, an appetizer, a maki roll, and rice or noodles. The interior is clean and modern; I would definitely dine here. Same plaza as Market Basket (to the right).
(4)Emily S.
I'm on the fence between 4 stars and 5. The sushi is ok but the Chinese food is pretty good. The service is fair. There was only once where I found it to be stellar. It's probably one of the only decent bars in town. There aren't a whole lot of options is Westford so considering that this place is worth a try.
(3)Aseem B.
dont eat here. I have been to karma many times over the last three years. About 6 months ago a group of colleagues and i went to Karma. Two of us ordered the sushi platter. Both of us were sick the next day. I was nauseous my colleague was worse off. Today some colleagues convinced me to do takeout. I ordered the sushi platter again. They forgot part of my order. Forgiveable it happens. But i just broke out with itchy spots on my face and all over my body. I am going to pop some benadryl now. I have eaten sushi at karma and at places across the US and the world. Have not had problems. Only two times both at karma. I wont be going again.
(1)Virginia C.
Solid and unexpected for Westford. I'm usually not an asian on asian fusion fan, but the Japanese, Thai, and other random Asian stuff were pretty Solid Pros: 1) Chicken Pad Thai- Mmmm 2) Miso Soup had extra scallions- Luv that 3) Sushi: Vegetarian Maki and some salmon/spicy tuna combo.. It's all about the sauce and this was a homerun. Unfor. it only came with 4 pieces!! 4) Service and atmosphere or maybe it was just a good night with good friends. Cons: 1) Spicy Beef with Green Beans- ummm, it was Spicy? 2) Seaweed Salad- ummm. something was wrong with it 3) Chicken Fried Rice- ehhh? and okay If you live in the area, then I think this is a must try- but don't make a huge trip for this place.
(3)Meredith D.
I like the rice and crazy noodle dish I think it's called. The lettuce wraps are great. The menu is a little confusing. I am not into sushi and seafood dishes, so I have a tough time but what I have ordered has been great and worth the price. I have only sat at the bar but next time I think I will grab a table.
(3)D D.
Meh sums it up. Everything was mediocre. Sushi was ok..I've had so much better. They did have variety but I am not a fusion fan in general...unless everything is thoughtful and amazing, sadly this wasn't the case. There seemed to be too many waitstaff/employees everywhere- at the front of the house..the back by the bar...gathered by the sushi chef..not sure what they all do... Not horrible but not memorable either.
(2)Jeremy C.
The lunch special is awesome. Under ten bucks and you get a little bit of everything. Soup, salad, couple bites of appetizer, three pieces of sushi, rice and a lunch portion of an entree. Great deal and the food was excellent.
(5)Manfred S.
Lunch is a deal. Went with my colleagues today (way out of the way), but it was pretty tasty and worth the drive (once a year). I had a pad thai extra spicy. The bill read spicyspicyspicyspicyspicy and it was spicyspicy-tasty. The cute waitress made me a fan. Okay - It is Asian fusion ... and I don't really know what that is supposed to mean ... but who cares if it is tasty and service friendly and efficient. If I happen to be hungry way out there, I'd go again.
(4)Ravy S.
I love this place. Everything I order here is delicious! I haven't found a dish here that I didn't like. My favorites are the shrimp tempura roll, spicy salmon roll, miso soup, crab rangoon, chicken wings, general gao's chicken, and happy family. The sushi here is the best that I've ever had..more expensive than a lot of other sushi places but worth it because it is so fresh and delicious! If you haven't had the happy family, you are missing out! This dish can be made spicy, and is full of veggies, seafood, and meat. I always have to share this dish with others because of the large portion, and I always have it with rice. It is just so delicious!! The cocktails here are always yummy and strong..never weak! My favorite is the green and red scorpion bowl. The yellow scorpion bowl is too strong for me. As for the restaurant, it is VERY clean and the atmosphere is relaxing. The booths have comfortable cushiony seats, like a sofa, and the tables are not placed close together, allowing for privacy. I am a regular here, and all the people I have told about this place love it too! The staff here are very friendly, and sometimes, they give you free ice cream which is covered with a crispy layer of corn flakes, a chocolate drizzle, and whipped cream. I think you need to meet a certain dollar amount and your group needs to be a certain size to get the free ice cream. Overall, I have never had a bad experience here.
(4)Jason D.
I've had a really great time, every time I've gone to Karma. Nice atmosphere, excellent food, good seating options, and unexpectedly strong drinks for an asian restaurant. Yet to order anything I didn't really enjoy. I suppose the eggplant dish they had was a little dull. I really cannot think of anything else. Every time I've gone, I've gotten the Scorpion Maki, and it hasn't failed me yet. The Rainbow Maki (the one with the thin slices of jalapeno) is really worth a shot too - just spicy enough to be interesting. California Roll is surprisingly great, and the Smoked Salmon sushi was impressive as well. Sesame chicken is very, very good. Lightly battered, flavorful. Their tempura is excellent, too. Would recommend the Crab Rangoon as well. The Lo Mein is good, but not great. Easily the best Best Hot and Sour Soup I've ever had. Great Mai Tais, too.
(5)Lori F.
Pretty good eats. I'd say average to slightly above average.
(3)Liz L.
This place is amazing! Everything is super fresh and the dishes are really creative - even though it's in a strip mall it feels like something much more refined. Definitely worth it!
(5)Tim L.
Well above average food for the area. I've been there twice now and have been pleasantly surprised both times. The mai tais are powerful, be careful. Very nice sushi and I dig their maki rolls. I haven't tried any of the more mainstream asian dishes yet, but I'm sure to be back many times.
(4)Mark T.
Yuen-yang Beef, Carol Roll. Megan is great at the bar.
(5)CT T.
Usually great food and drinks but unfortunately tonight we had a scary experience at Karma... The head chef lost it on the wait staff. It was not crowded at the bar or the restaurant and he came screaming out of the kitchen wielding a machete or big knife....His face was bright red and he threw a dinner in the trash. He continued to rant and rave for the entirety of our visit. He held dinners hostage and refused to let the wait staff serve. The owner assured us he would be fired and I truly hope so...The head chef is very unbalanced. They were going to call 911. I would stay away until the Chef is gone.....

I have been going to Karma for several years now. I am hooked on the Cucumber Cosmo and I love their Sushi. The bartenders (Meagan and Jesse) are fantastic. The wait staff is also wonderful and accommodating. We always begin with the Cosmo and a Tuna Taco appetizer (we ask for it spicy) and then go from there. Highly recommended are the Tuna Tataki, Salmon Ceviche and the Rainbow Roll. We always request "spicy" and they add thin slices of jalapeño and other ingredients that add a zing to these dishes.

After watching our infant grandson and 3 other babies for a couple of hours at the tail end of a busy weekend, I wanted Chipotle (good-fast-cheap)- wife wanted British Brewing Company (booths-brews) and we settled on Karma. Surprise-surprise, this place is good ! Very good; we had Hot n Sour Soup, Tempura, Scottish Salmon Roll and Udon Noodle soup, all of which was well presented, served at a good pace and reasonably priced. Portions are good-the expected flavors were there especially with the Hot n Sour which most places screw up..this version was very good although I asked for some hot sauce. The app's and sushi are on the pricy side, soooo get the entrees if you're pinching pennies bunkie and never-ever get Pad Thai in a Chinese fusion restaurant, I don't care who they've got in the kitchen, get Pad Thai in a legit Thai place! Karma is GOOD..not great but very good and it's a really good value. We'll be back. (and we're bringing the babies)

Karma has always been a reliable standby for our family. Kids like terriyaki dishes and the rest of us like the maki rolls. They also have a great bar with a good selection of wine by the glass. My only gripe is that their service can be slow and inattentive, but Karma is easily one of the best restaurants around Westford.

In my first review I commented on the skill of bartender Jesse at the mixology wheel. Alas, and little did I know but Jesse only tends the bar on Tuesdays and the real master of booze is Megan. She is there most nights and let her make you a cucumber martini, or a leechee, or maybe her aloe. These are perfect summer drinks but heck I go for them year-round. The bride and I have been frequenting Karma for a couple of years now and heading up there from good old Concord once a week. Not many would drive so many miles for to go but frankly there is nothing near us with such quality Japanese inspired meals. With Iverson as the master chef and overseeing all things sushi, he takes delight in pleasing you and testing your sense of unique dishes. Dare to ask him to just create for your table or to-go! You will not be disappointed. Lately, my favorite has been to do just that. With really no names for his recipes, out comes delicious ahi tuna dishes with the most unique flavors of fruit and heat. You could almost drink the accompanying sauce that this fresh tuna is delivered with. Recently, my daughter and her boyfriend delivered blue fin tuna caught off Truro on the holy Kamoli. Chef Iverson explored their senses and wowed them with dishes they have never experienced at Karma! My turn next with the blue fin as I have about 10lbs frozen in our Cape home for a return to Karma soon. One important point is how good the staff is. They are friendly, engaging and polite. They remember your name and appreciate your return. Go there.

This place is always busy so I recommend calling ahead. Personally I think it is popular because it has a bar. The food is basically take out Chinese on a plate. The Korean food was decent. Don't order any food with beef because it is very chewy. As soon as the place gets busy the service goes downhill. We were rushed out.

i found the Pad Thai very disappointing... it was basically a huge heap of straw-like noodles w/some cut up onions, scallions/green onions, peppers. i asked for the Tofu, which came in large 'blobs' and very soft and mushy; uncooked... there was some crushed peanuts; that for lack of better description, seemed like regurgitated peanuts...(sorry, but that's what it looked and tasted like) It did not come w/peanut sauce; i had to ask for that and pay additional...nor did it come w/hot sauce. This dish was nothing like i have ever had at other Asian restaurants.... i got this as a Take Out. It was the first time i had ever been in the restaurant...the atmosphere looked very pleasant -- However, the three women at the register / front desk were not so pleasant. One woman was in a very distracting outfit.... large busted, in a very revealing sweater... the other two were neither friendly, nor knowledgeable about the menu. Lastly, i thin the Pad Thai was WAY over-priced and lacked quality. i probably will not return there too soon. OR next time i will dine in and give the Sushi dishes a try... Bums me out...as i was looking forward to Pad Thai . i'm not sure what it is that i ate...i just know i will never order that at Karma again.

Our new favorite! We live in Chelmsford so we usually go to feng shui but the quality there has been bad lately. We tried karma and its so fresh it's our new go to spot

Really underwhelmed by the entire experience. The waitress took away my menu before I'd even had a chance to look at it when she came to take our drink orders, which I dismissed as a probable mistake (maybe she thought she was taking away the drink menu?). However, when I asked to have a menu when she came back with our waters, she didn't even acknowledge her mistake or apologize. We ordered sushi, which was mediocre and kind of expensive for the amount that you get. Our waitress never came over to check on us after we were served or ask if we needed anything. She brought the check over immediately after we'd finished without asking if we wanted dessert or anything, she just cleared our plates, dropped the check and walked away. Frankly, I think she was kind of rude and not friendly or personable at all. Even with the $5 off coupon we used I still feel like we wasted our money on that meal. The service was enough of a turn-off that I don't think it's likely I'll return here.
(1)Samantha J.
Definitely a fan of this place! I've been there multiple times and the waitresses always do their best to explain everything and answer my questions. Snow mountain and tiger's eye are the best sushi rolls I've tried but their shrimp and rice dishes have also been very good. My family and I have been given free dessert both times (we assume it's because we spend a lot of money) and it's delicious as well! Also, no wait on a Saturday night was a plus.
(4)Rui W.
Wife and I went to Karma for Sunday lunch. We got there about 12:15 and we were the only customer inside. The sushi chefs were preparing a large take out order so our order is little bit slow coming up. My wife ordered tempura udon which all you taste is soy sauce, a below average dish. Then we shared a scorpion maki, which is okay. I had sashimi plat, the fish taste very decent. The only complain I have is I asked for a small bowl of sushi rice which most restaurant would give you for free, but Karma charged $3 for it. Come on, $3 for the rice!!!
(3)Larissa C.
I like the lunch specials, which are reasonably priced considering they offer "a little bite of everything". Served on bento trays, with any lunch special order you get a soup option, an appetizer option, a maki option, and a rice/lo mein option. Over my two visits here I've tried the salmon teriyaki and the unaju, both were good. Also, I enjoyed both the side dish maki (spicy tuna and Alaskan). The only problem I've encountered concerns the service, which on one occasion was slow and inattentive, but I will chalk that up to an off day.
(3)Catherine D.
Have eaten here a few times. Their sushi is fair, but on the pricy side. Last time here our server barely spoke English and she messed up our order. The manager removed an item from our bill that we didn't order, but she didn't adjust the meals tax.

First off, whoever designed this place did a great job. Seriously, the interior is beautiful. The bar looks great, and the drinks are VEERRRY STIFF. I've been to a lot of chinese food spots in Lowell, Chelmsford, Dracut, Littleton, all around the area... and how Westford has the best two chinese restaurants half a mile apart from each other is beyond me. This is a review for Karma. Which in my eyes, is number one. Best sushi in town (not saying much though, it only has to compete against Bamboo, which in itself is pretty good sushi). Look, I'm not a Chinese food snob. I don't care much for the traditional dishes, I care about the food I like to eat most often. When it comes down to it, I always rate a chinese restaurant on basically 3 chinese-american dishes: General Gaus Chicken, Crab Rangoons, and Peking Raviolis. Karma does this the best out of every, single, restaurant, in, the, area. Seriously --- this place may beat the Gows and Goons I had on the now defunct 2nd floor in Chinatown (R.I.P.). Now that we got that stuff out of the way.. the best dish on the menu is the Happy Family (get the spicy one). Big chunks of scallops, chicken, squid, veggies, all atop a crispy, crunchy shell (very similiar to a Birds Nest). The people at Karma are very friendly, and they are okay with you getting hammered at the bar. I've left their many a night stumbling out, stuffed with Gows and Goons (always have a DD!) It may be a little pricier then the other Chinese restaurants... so if that's your beef -- don't come. I hate it when the bar is so busy and I can't get a seat.

Sunday evening we were heading home from a business trip on 495 North. 8PM and needed sustenance so by chance found upon Karma's Japanese & Chinese Fusion restaurant, in a "strip mall" just off 495 in the beautiful town of Westford MA. We enjoyed (wolfed?) our dinner. Started with the egg rolls, onto the Traditional main plates selections, Sesame Crispy Chicken and another from the Rice and Noodle section, Pad Thai. All very tasty with fresh seafood, chicken and excellent crispy veggies along with several very friendly waitresses. If we lived closer to Karma, we'd be here often and able to sample the Sushi bar and the many other great fusion choices.
(4)Jacqui L.
I love how they have vegatarian options...espically with their delicious sushi. The cucumber maki, asperagus maki and pickled radish maki are my favorite..extra wasabi and ginger please :) The drink menu has lots of really good cocktails. The servers are really friendly and helpful. The price is very reasonable...not that exspensive. The atmosphere is nice, relaxing and has beautiful decor and an awesome light up bar. By far one of my favorite restaurants around..wheither its to go out to dinner with family or to go get a couple drinks at their bar...Karma is amazing!
(4)J.J. B.
This place features great "lunchbox" specials served on partitioned trays....like the ones you'd get on an plane if you were rich enough to fly on an airline that serves meals. For 9 bucks I got a bowl of soup as an appetizer; then a portion of salad, General Tso's chicken, fried rice, a couple of chicken fingers and three spicy tuna rolls. My coworkers got similar specials, and one got 12 sushi rolls for $12. Service is quick and friendly and all the sushi is fresh. Quality is high and value is higher. A true Strip Mall Gem.
(4)Cassie B.
Been here twice, sat at the bar for some food. Service is a little slow to start, especially if its busy. On the monday i went, there were a surprising amount of people in the place. Bartender can make a mean drink. They have some interesting features for sushi, so be sure to ask. The spicy tuna volcano roll is a mess, but to die for.
(4)Salene T.
First time here and loved it. The maki rolls were delicious. They have quite a bit of unique items on their menu compared to other sushi places which is really nice. I am now a fan and would return again. The waitress we had was also very nice and courteous. I gave it 4 stars only because our salted peppered squid came out under seasoned and over done but we loved everything else we got.
(4)C N.
The sushi is fresh and the portions are good. I was there for lunch today and it was a good meal. Good service, clean, nice decor and consistent (I have been here a few times). Never messed up an order and very eager to please. I have had better sushi but this place is good! Would recommend.
(3)Shannon F.
I love this place. I am kind of a sushi snob (but from the boonies, so don't trust me too much! :-) ) and this place is my favorite for sushi. They have many unique maki that are beautifully made and wonderfully seasoned. They have a real knack for mixing flavors harmoniously here. Friends who order their chinese and thai dishes rave about them, but I can only speak to the japanese, which is simply wonderful! The staff and chefs are extremely friendly and nice. I am proud to be a 'regular' !
(4)Jayna D.
Karma is great for eat-in or take-out. The servers there are always friendly! I have brought my 2 year old daughter with me on a few occasions and the servers always pay extra special attention to her. They bring her over little treats - like a tiny drink umbrella - and always treat her with respect as if she were the one paying the bill! The food is great too! The sushi is fresh and so creative! I love thier Volcano roll - it's hot, spicy and just delicious! I haven't tried too much from their cooked menu, but the few items I have ordered have been great! When we order larger amounts, they usually throw in a free sushi roll and orders over $25 come with a free dessert. It's an all around great place to go - especially if you don't want to drive into Boston for a great meal!
(4)Amy C.
It's unfortunate that I can't give this restaurant 0 stars. The food here terrible, and is not worth the price paid for it. The portion sizes are ridiculously small- talk about budget cuts! My friends and I left hungry. An order of $14 sashimi is merely a few scraps of raw fish, the lunch box with beef teriyaki tasted like cafeteria lunch meat with sauce on top, and my "dragon's eye" roll was akin to the sushi that I pick up at Shaw's for $8. I think this place invested too much money on the oversized ornate lights, "Karma" imprinted spoons, and....seat cushions for cushioned booths? Makes no sense. Seriously dissatisfied with the food and unfriendly wait staff. I wouldn't come back here if someone paid me!

This place is absolutely awesome. My friend and I came for a Friday night dinner after work, and had several sushi rolls and a scorpion bowl. The sushi was hands down the best I have had in a very long time. Other local places, like Bamboo, don't even hold a candle to Karma. Everything was delicious! On a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being "ok" and 10 being "perfect", Karma's sushi gets a 12.5. The drink was pretty good -- tasty and pretty strong. But the sushi -- oh my. I have eaten a lot of sushi in my lifetime. I don't know if it was a particularly "on" night for the sushi chef, but everything was just phenomenal. I don't think I will be able to enjoy sushi anywhere else after this. I am ruined for all other sushi. As for the non-sushi stuff ... well, we didn't order any non-sushi stuff. The menu has tons of great-looking (and great-smelling) dishes on it, for those who aren't into sushi. Which is great, because I can't wait to drag my husband here sometime. The prices are definitely reasonable, especially for the superb quality. It was fairly quiet for what I would expect on a Friday evening, which was nice. The atmosphere is pretty run-of-the-mill for Asian-fusion restaurants. I kind of want to steal their chandeliers, but I won't because that would be wrong. A nice bonus was that after the meal, the waitress brought us a "fried" ice cream dessert on the house to split. It was tasty and just a very sweet touch. Overall, it was a wonderful meal, and I recommend it to anyone who loves sushi, Japanese, or Chinese food.
(5)Mike D.
To many restaurants of its kind in the area. I Have been to karma many times since they opened. The sush is just ok and the food is average. The cocktails however are phenomenal. the only problem is the bar is at a weird/awkward height. Other than that the ambiance is kind of cheap and cheezy buy overall an ok place. If I was looking for this kind of food i would travel a half a mile down Rt. 110 going toward Littleton and eat at Bamboo. Quality is much higher.
(2)Adam C.
First time trying sushi, so can't trust me too much! Went with a coworker who raves about them, and was very impressed! The sushi was plated beautifully, and tasted amazing. Spring roll appetizer was one of the best I've tasted so far. Great service, and beautiful inside. Will definitely be going here quite a bit!
(5)Misty K.
Karma is a great little restaurant tucked in a generic strip mall but sure does pack a punch. Beautiful decor in a cozy atmosphere help make this place a go to for a mid week dinner outing. I highly recommend going for lunch because they have fantastic lunch selections served on a tray full of a vanity of samplings. Both times I've been, once for lunch and once for dinner I waited quite a bit longer than expected butonxe the food came it was clea it was because everything is made fresh. Excellent addition to the town.
(3)Al R.
Great place. I rank it better than Bamboo because the service staff is nicer. I eat the shushi and the rest of the family eat the hot dishes. The only down side is that they push selling drinks a bit too hard. There is plenty of parking and you can expect your bill to be around $20 PP.
(4)Brian W.
This place is just fantastic. They have big tables with a lot of comfortable seating, and the service is fast and reliable - great for birthday lunch or dinners, or going out with quite a few friends. The food is fantastic - some of the best Asian fusion you'll find in the area, and the sushi is Definitely (with a capital D!) fantastic. Sometimes the music can be a little loud, especially at lunchtime, but the staff is happy to turn it down if you ask your server.
(5)Hilda W.
We have been coming to Karma for several years now, but since moving to Waltham we don't get there as much as we would like. Still, if we are celebrating or want to have a really special experience, we make the trip to Karma. A few weeks ago we went for the first time since moving in January. The staff seemed genuinely thrilled to see us back, and that made the experience even better. We usually sit at the bar and enjoy Megan's outstanding cucumber martinis, but we have also sat at the sushi bar and watched the beautiful fish being prepared. Everything is a work of art. We have never had anything but the sushi, but it has always been excellent. Baked salmon maki with fried sweet potato is a favorite, as is the spicy tuna, shrimp tempura maki, and alligator maki. We have also had the tuna taco, which is like seviche with chopped jalapeno. The interior is beautiful, the staff is friendly and the food and drinks are great! It is not cheap, but good sushi rarely is and at least the drinks are strong and good.
(4)Danielle C.
I finally got a chance to go here for the first time about a year after I tried it. Got the Happy Family, a stir-fry of veggies, chicken, beef, scrimp and scallops (seriously, what else could I need?) and loved it. Also got some of the best vegetable rice I've had. It tasted like something you'd make at home, not some greasy thing you could get anywhere. The decor is nice, but it seems a bit bright inside for dinnertime. Prices were reasonable, service could have been faster, but delicious food!
(4)Gordon A.
Lunch boxes are a good value. Food generally is okay, but nothing too exciting. Don't go out of my way to eat here, but if in the area and looking for something it will fit the bill. With all of the new restaurants coming into the area I will likely be trying other alternatives in the future.
(3)P C.
The GF and I wanted to try this place since we were going to be in the area. 4 and 1/2 stars!! Very nice! The food was exceptional. We ordered the Spicy tuna roll, Alligator roll, and the New York roll. The Alligator was REALLY good, and I highly recommend it. The Spicy tuna was also good. The NY was good, but was a tad dull. Everything tasted super fresh The wait staff was really good, and the decor was top-notch (though the oil paintings DO seem out of place, as someone else had mentioned), but didn't take away from us having a nice dinner. The cucumber martini is definitely worth a try. Give it a try!
(4)Dee H.
I really like the way the different spaces in this restaurant are set up. As one looks in, there is the very modern and stylish bar area along the left wall, the sushi bar is towards the back where we could see our sushi being placed into our boat. The main dining area has a variety of seating options with each table placed pretty good distances apart. They also have a nice private dining area which looks out most of the windows. The menu includes a very good selection of Chinese, Japanese and Thai options. My daughter and I had the sushi and sashimi boat for 2. The sushi chefs gave us a very good variety of fish and the quality was quite good. Our meal came with a very fresh salad and a good sized bowl of miso soup. We were ready to order dessert when our server informed us that dessert came with our meal. Hey, that sounded good to us!
(4)Paul G.
Have been here three times for dinner with family. Overall the food is good and the service is great but I have one gripe that I have with most Asian restaurants...don't call a dish spicy on the menu if it's not gonna be spicy when it arrives at the table. I order spicy dishes because I like spicy foods. If I wanted the dish less spicy I would ask for it to be toned down.
(3)Mike L.
I only ate here once. I eat Chinese and other Asian food often, and often enough to judge most Asian restaurant. I tried this one because it's close where I stay (The Hampton Inn). I didn't quite like this place. The cleanness and quietness are the characters I like, but the price of the food and charging me for Green Tea are the characters I don't like. With its price tag, I should be able to eat much better Asian food in Nashua or Boston. It should have done much better. I won't come back again even I stay in the same hotel again.
(3)Sunny K.
Have been going since it first opened - about a year ago they installed a new bar (the old one was so tall it was awkward to sit at). Typically I'm getting takeout when I go there (recommend the sushi - especially the spicy ones), so I sit at the bar while I wait for my order. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is cool. It's often busy at night, so sometimes it can take a while for sushi orders - but do like I did and let Jesse make you a specialty drink (try the cucumber martini, trust me). Suddenly you won't mind the wait.
(4)Stephanie S.
I love Karma, and I think it is the best restaurant in the area to be honest. I have never had a disappointing meal from them, and everything is so fresh and well prepared. Best in the area!~
(5)Sheri B.
Have been here a few times for lunch (close to work, so sometimes groups go here). The lunch boxes seemed a little pricey and I did not find them to be very good. The last time, a few months ago, I tried their sushi and I was not pleased at all and couldn't get through the meal. I will avoid going here or suggest other locations from now on.
(2)Laura M.
I've already reviewed this place but over 2 years later it remains my absolute favorite for sushi. I live in Boston which supposedly has amazing restaurants but I always end up back at karma. They have extremely fresh fish and are constantly coming up with new sushi roll specials and appetizers. Ask for specials and be sure to try the salmon ceviche, tuna tacos, and karma 3 layer. All phenomenal! I will admit the service can be slow but to me it's worth it! Even living in the city I will travel 40 minutes here when I want sushi!
(5)Deb M.
Wow! This place was great! A friend who had a craving for sushi after having a baby and I went here to try it out. We got two sushi roll specials and they were both AMAZING! The lobster tempura was amazing. We both started off with the Miso soup and a salad. The drinks were great and service was sweet as could be! I WILL be back! :)
(5)Mara S.
I hope I was here on an off night... In town visiting family and 10 of us went to Karma tonight for dinner. Things started off ok, a nice private table (we made reservations) and decent drink ordering service, but as the night when on, things got progressively worse. As a table we ordered a couple of appetizers, soup, 4-5 main dishes plus the sushi yacht. One soup never came, the 4-5 main dishes were cold, the white rice didn't come out until we were almost done eating the meals and the sushi yacht came 20 minutes after the other dishes. I can understand the difference in preparation times, but they should have either asked if we wanted one before the other or given us an update when they saw that the sushi was running so far behind. I was unimpressed, to say the least. The food tasted ok, not great. They did give us some free sushi. Fine. And some free ice cream for dessert. But come on? I appreciate the free stuff but would have appreciated it more had it accompanied a warm, timely dinner. I wouldn't go back to Karma, though the family has said they've had good experience with their take out.
(2)John E.
We enjoy Karma. The food is good. The atmosphere is definitely above average and the staff seems quite friendly. I could probably name a place with better sushi or better Chinese but Karma is very satisfactory. I agree that things are a little slow but that may indicate careful preparation. I would not recommend the "fusion" part of the menu. Overpriced and not that good.
(4)Nicole E.
Great atmosphere, yummy food, and exceptional service! Very modern, clean restaurant with a large menu of both food and drinks. My BF and I ate here last night after having take - out a few times and we are planning on going back tomorrow! I recommend the stuffed eggplant and lettuce wraps.
(4)Suzanne M.
For sushi, I haven't had better in this area. I've been to the competiton in Chelmsford and down the road at Banboo, but the sushi here is much more creative, a fuller menu, larger sizes, and very fresh. The prices are Boston-esque, so beware. I agree with Allie on the decor - mostly contemporary, but what is up with the doctor office paintings? I can't rate table service as I ordered take out but the hostess was very friendly and helped get my order completed soon as I was in a rush. The bar looks like a great alternative to our usual after work haunts with a few TVs, nice long seating, and a casual / friendly / modern flair.
(4)Joshua F.
After living in Boston for the last 5 years, my wife and I have experienced some of the best sushi there is. Karma is right there. Like Fugakyu, Oishii, and Douzo, the quality is excellent but without the $$$$ bill at the end. How do I convince you? The sashimi is thick, really thick. They serve raw squid, try getting that outside of Boston. Ever have raw mackerel that was sweet, not fishy? Karma has it. I was never a roll person, as they seemed to mask the flavor of the fish. Karma has swayed me. The chefs create some of the most fabulous flavors that enhance the fish not hide it. The waitstaff is crazy helpful and so friendly. On the first visit we were not used to the up close service always, checking and offering suggestions. All of these suggestions have been excellent, and we always ask for the special rolls of the night. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable of the menu. I suggest the Fusion Maki, Crispy Salmon Skin Salad, Squid Sashimi and the Cucumber Martini. We have not tried the Chinese menu yet, so only 4 stars until then. Went back to sample the Chinese side of the menu a number of times, and was not disapointed. Plenty of flavor, meeting any expectations that a good Asian menu should have. A true test, crab rangoons, were light, crispy and flavorful. They are the best I have had in the 'burbs. They best deal by far is the Karma Lunch Box, offered everyday between 11:30 and 1:00. For $8-11 you get a choice of entree, rice, appetizer, soup, mini salad, and 3 piece sushi role. I have yet to finish one.
(4)Heidi M.
I get take out from Karma all the time. The sushi is really good especially for those delving into the sushi world as a beginner. I have only tried the maki and each type I have tried has been really fabulous. Some favorites are spider, spicy tuna, and shrimp tempura. The wine list is appropriate and I found a nice white to compliment my order during the rare times I have actually eaten there.
(4)anna k.
This place is close to my house so we go there pretty often. The servers are friendly, the drinks are delicious. Sushi is not the best I've tried, but pretty good, enough to keep me coming. Other food is good as well. The place is huge, has nice decor, big bar. I defintely would reccomend it. They also have nice lunch boxes.
(4)Rose D.
Been to this place once, so I don't want to give it a full 5 stars until I sampled more dishes. But I was very satisfied with my first experience. I went there with a friend and we shared a sushi dish. I don't remember the specific name but it had three variations tuna, yellow tail and salmon. We requested it to be spicy and it had a little kick to it. The fish was fresh and tastey and the rolls had a little crunch to them, a nice touch. This one dish was enough for the two of us, it included 18 rolls and only for $19. I would def go back again if I am in that area.
(4)Lauren T.
My husband and I are Karma regulars. The food is consistently good, and the servers are always very friendly. The creative makis are great, as are their Japanese selections, which typically come with a bowl of miso soup and a small salad with the best ginger dressing EVER. I swear, that dressing is like salad crack. I've ordered pints of it to take home ($5-totally worth it).
(4)Allie S.
There's no way I can love this place as much as Sakura (in Chelmsford), but Karma comes a close second. Both times I've been there, I've gotten free ice cream at the end of the meal, and if that's not the mark of a good restaurant, I don't know what is. Karma's specialty maki rolls are wonderful, especially the toro with truffle oil...whoa. The chef came to our table and recommended dishes, which is rare for a small restaurant in the 'burbs. They also have delicious edamame. The only thing that irks me about Karma is the decorating. Most of it is gorgeous, including a dark-wood bar, glass partitions filled with lights, and oddly interesting light fixtures. But one entire wall is filled with portraits of flowers and fox hunts--and it does not go at all. Seriously, I know that sounds dumb, but it'd be so much better without the paintings!
(4)BIANCA S.
I've been here twice, for lunch and dinner. Good food both times. Especially like the sesame beef, just right. Staff is friendly, I think the prices are similar to other new chinese restaurants in the area. Portions could be larger though, barely enough for 2. What happened to old chinese restaurants with low prices, and plenty of food, and don't forget you used to get great BREAD with your meal. Seems bread is a no no with the newer restaurants.
(4)jennifer g.
This was my first time here. I ordered the lunch box and was very pleased with the presentation, but sadly that was it. I went with my three sons who all also ordered the lunch box specials. They brought out one of my son's lunchbox but did not bring everyone else's food out until he was almost finished, that was quite a long wait!! I found that very odd that the rest of us were served almost 15 minutes later! Our waitress was also the hostess who served us and she looked quite angry that she had to take our orders. We went there on a Wednesday at 12:30pm . I had ordered the spicy tuna sushi which arrived warm, ugghh, I've never had raw tuna before that was warm, very unappetizing. I had also ordered the General Gao's chicken. My first bite had a big piece of cartilage in it, by this point I was totally grossed out. The chicken was also dark meat which I always find unappealing since you can't be quite sure what type of meat you really are eating!! The service was lousy with the angry waitress/hostess and she took forever, I just wanted a quick lunch and we were there for an hour and a half.
